When I was looking into plastic surgery I had plenty of concerns and my friends who had gone under the knife didn’t sugarcoat anything. “You can’t fix a scalpel incision, so invest wisely.” I was warned to ask for previous patient examples, such as: ⁃ Belly button appearance ⁃ Tummy tuck scars ⁃ Breast lift scars Not only did I ask Dr. Kordestanti for previous examples, I made him outline where my scars were going to be and their size. With each question, an honest answer followed. My concerns dwindled and trust grew, I knew that he was the right fit for my body contouring goals. From pre-op to post op and everything in between, I was in the best care with Dr. Kordestani. Even my mom, a Mayo Clinic snob, was impressed with his work and bedside manner. He goes above and beyond to ensure highest client satisfaction is achieved but more importantly, your questions answered and voice heard. Of all the options for plastic surgeons, he’s one of the few I trust with a scalpel. There’s enough bad PS to keep Botched running for centuries, you don’t have to worry about that with Dr. Kordestani.

My experience with Dr. Kordestani has been nothing but AMAZING!!!! I had a breast augmentation on Valentine’s Day and the recovery was a breeze. Virtually no pain and I was so comfortable after surgery. My breasts look exactly how I wanted them to! I would recommend him to anybody looking to have their breast done. He is very responsive (I have sent him texts late at night) and he always responds. He is extremely knowledgeable and is an artist with his hands.

He also did my best friend’s breast augmentation and they look so amazing, I have my consultation already set up to get mine done! He is so confident in his craft, and truly is an expert. Dr Reza performed a rhinoplasty on me about 6 months ago and I LOVE IT. It’s still a little swollen but that should reside within a year. I was super nervous about the procedure but it’s something I’ve wanted all my life, especially after breaking it about a year prior. Reza is very professional and thorough! I was super nervous about it but he made me feel incredibly comfortable with the procedure and his plan. He kept in touch and was available for any questions I had pre and post op. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Dr Reza to anyone, and if I ever need anything else done in the future, I’d definitely go to him!

I actually received care from Dr. Kordestani at the INOVA hospital in Mt. Vernon. I had a nasty wound on my foot, and he was called in by the ER to stitch it up. But I was so impressed by his demeanor and his confidence, that I felt inclined to write this review for his practice. The experience was very difficult and upsetting with the ER doctors...don’t get me wrong, they were nice and competent, but they were very aggressive with my wound and just made me nervous overall. Then Dr. Kordestani showed up (in really good time, too), and he was just so calm and explained exactly what was needed and what he would do and what I needed to do. It made me so comfortable, and he was so careful and patient for the cleaning and numbing process, that I was looking at memes and laughing with my boyfriend by the time he started stitching up my foot. My boyfriend isn’t normally very impressed by doctors, but he is still talking about Dr. Kordestani today, a day later. We both agree we have never felt so confident in someone else’s ability, and he didn’t impart that on us by listing off qualifications or awards...it was his manner of approaching the problem. Maybe I’m over-reaching, but it really felt like he understood the importance of being a calming presence and taking a slow approach to a difficult situation, and I think he just respects the fact that someone is looking at their body and skin and just hoping and praying it looks/works okay. I’m very confident my wound will heal well, and my foot will feel and work like it did before.

I don’t even know where to begin about the amazing experience I had with Dr.Kordestani. The moment he walked in on my first consultation and he examined me I felt so comfortable. I had the same procedure done twice before by other doctors and didn’t like my results. Dr Kordestani fixed those problems and more. It’s been 2 weeks since my surgery and although I’m still swollen I can already see the difference in how may body improved. Today I tried on clothes I haven’t worn In 3 years and they look amazing. I’m sure when most of the swollen goes down it will look even better. The Dr, the staff, & the nurse treated me so well. I will be recommending him to everyone I know. I normally don’t leave any bad reviews. Unfortunately, I have been very disappointed with Dr, Kordestani. Not only he had me asked me to gain weight after 3 months, so he could use that fat during the surgery on some other Area of my body. When I called the office and spoke to his stuff that I did some research and only needed Liposuction and not to use any fat on the other areas of the body. I’m not sure why but two hours later they called me back and said the will refund my money and cancel my surgery. I have never experienced such an Unprofessional experience from professional. Not to mention I had planned this before my wedding. When I asked to speak to him, why he would cancel my surgery. They couldn’t give me any answer. His staff had no idea. Then one of my friend had appointment with him few days later and asked him in person why did you cancel her surgery, he said I cancel it and he didn’t. Then he promised to call me and see what’s going on but he never did. This a mess.

I can’t speak highly enough about Dr. Kordestani! For years, I had been considering a breast augmentation and some other minor procedures & always felt really self conscious- Dr. Kordestani is the ONLY doctor I’ve ever felt extremely comfortable around. He’s extremely personable & down to earth, and makes the entire process feel easy so you don’t feel anxious or stressed out. You can really tell that Dr. K loves what he does, and it shows in his work! Not only am I extremely happy with the work that was performed, but Dr. K went out of his way to answer all of my annoying questions. I brought lots of photos to try and figure out what he could achieve for an end result, and I asked for his input on what else he might address the get me the results I was asking for. I can’t really explain how much that means to a patient- I was extremely happy to have a surgeon that listened to what I wanted, and made sure we took all the right steps to get there. Bottom line: If you’re looking for a surgeon who has a phenomenal repertoire, loves his work, and has a wonderful relationship with all of his patients- look no further! Dr. K is literally the best in the DMV, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to care for myself, my friends or family.

I had surgery on July 12th 2021 hi definition liposuction, bbl, hip granting. I am so pleased with my results I told Dr reza what I wanted and he delivered. I am 4 weeks and 2 days today and I've had minimal swelling and my recovery has been Good. His waiting list has became longer since last year but if you can wait on him I suggest you do, you will not be disappointed. He has blessed hands and the staff is awsome..very organized, helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you to everyone who helped me in the process ????????

I've never been treated so humanely by medical staff (': both the nurses & doctor Kordestani were super welcoming! They created a very comfortable atmosphere & that's a priority for me. I went in for a breast augmentation and you guys... he did T H A T. A girl is really feelin herself. Yes it was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster but it's worth it!! They made me aware of all my options, potential risks, and certain activities to avoid before and after my surgery; all important information was given via email as a pdf file. I would post pictures but I still have about a month left for majority of my inflammation to go down. Pain wasn't so bad but every body varies in pain tolerance so :p Anyways.. I would like to share my before, during, and after experience regarding surgery with Dr. K. The preliminary appointment to find out how to alleviate the chronic pain of Diastasis Recti that I had been consumed by, for 5+ years... was unbelievably wonderful. I finally had hope that the majority of my pain could be handled with this surgery. We could only know how much would be alleviated afterwards... but any relief would be better than where I was. We made our plan for surgery... and the day before, Dr K called to ask if I was ready and did I have any other questions. He answered them and assured me that we were going to have a great outcome. I said that I had every confidence in him. * He does not give you false hope, he is great at his craft... and his strength is his confidence. My surgery was a bit more complicated than it looked, on the outside. Dr. K not only reattached my muscles regarding my original diagnosis... but went the extra mile by taking care of any other issues that had occurred during my 5 years of pain. My main concern was having a belly button that was "doctor made". Once the muscles are sewn back together, the outside skin needs to be tightened. This means that your naval is no longer in the correct position for your tummy. A new one must be "made". I shared a picture of my original belly button and asked if we could get anything close to it? I have to say that I cannot believe how beautiful my new naval is. Not only does it look similar... but I feel it is even better than my original. I opted to stay overnight at the hospital and Dr. K was checking on me shortly after the arrival to my room... and, he made a visit before I was released the next morning. I was sent home with great care instructions, the right meds, and the assurance that he was available anytime with any questions or concerns. There have been many scheduled after-surgery visits to make sure that things are going according to our plan. Each appointment has been included in the original fee. I am now 100% pain free from the Diastasis Recti diagnosis. Dr K did not over-promise... but he certainly DID over-achieve in my case! I had the proper care before, during, and after. I am now 6 months post surgery... and I cannot praise Dr K, his office staff, his surgery staff, and the Inova staff enough! I am so pleased. You will be too! -Kathy R.

He needs more practice ! He left me with fat pockets. Females that were way heavier out of shape months whom received surgery from him looks way better. I under he doesn’t have his license as yet and still working under another doctor but please put your best foot out or offer revision. He refuses to redo what he messed up. Choosing Dr. Kordestani was the best decision for my augmentation. I had been searching for a plastic surgeon on and off for 3 years. Last year (2018), I found Dr. Kordestani and decided to take the plunge. Not only is his bedside manner amazing, his nurse, Ashley, is wonderful. Everyone is super kind and helpful, and truly happy with what they do. He isn’t super pushy either. I got my consultation done, and was able to leave the office without feeling pressured to pay for any service. I did take a couple of days to make a decision, and even the payment process went smoothly ( thanks Chris!) 3 weeks Post Op: I’m healing well, and at each followup appointment, I feel reassured that everything is going the way it should. Any questions I have are explained thoroughly. I honestly can’t complain. It all looks good to me! The scarring is minimal, and I could lift my arms up after the 2nd day! Every step of the journey was easy thanks to the Dr. Kordestani and his staff. He even texted me to make sure I was doing well after surgery! That just goes to show how much he cares about his patients. I’ve recommended him to everyone I know who’s looking for a plastic surgeon.

Dr Reza Kordestani is a HD Liposuction miracle worker. He is committed, professional and caring. In the first few minutes of speaking with him, I knew he will do a wonderful job. He explains the procedure really well and tells you realistically what to expect. The recovery took a little over than I expected, but it was well worth it. It is now 4 months after the procedure and I have a SIX PACK with a tiny waist. He truly goes above and beyond his job. All of my friends were amazed with the results.
