I had microscopic carpal tunnel surgery with an excellent outcome. The only criticism I would make is that the office visits seem to be overbooked; and you may wait a long time in the office for your appointment. They also should improve their insurance billing.

My experience was shockingly bad post opp. I recommend that no one get surgery at Plastic and Hand. It's too bad because I had a really good initial experience. Dr Zelonis is amazing. Another specialist I saw after even admired his work. I do, however, have to have more cosmetic surgery to fix my nose a bit. I can't recommend anyone go here, though, because of my post op experience. I drove 2 hrs to a post op appointment. I had been told when I left surgery that I would see Dr Zelonis and could ask about my procedure since he did less than we discussed. Instead a physician's assistant did my appointment. She hadn't been in my surgery and told me, 'she knew nothing about my surgery and could therefore not tell me anything about it.' First sign that something was off. I then asked some questions. She answered two and then just kept repeating the word, 'time' at me until I finally picked up my things and left. I insisted on talking to Dr Zelonis the next day. The scheduling folks tried to tell me not too, to wait two weeks. Boy am I glad I said I had to talk to him. It turned out my biopsy came back indicating a serious, degenerative disease that is VERY time sensitive. The PA telling me 'time' and the scheduling folks trying to push me off by two weeks was the exact opposite of what I needed. Either the PA read the chart and didn't want to tell me the bad news. OR she didn't read the chart and just didn't care. Based on her attitude, I'd say the latter. I reached out to Plastic and Hand many times to discuss this and that I thought the PA, Sharon, acted strange. No response. I filled out a survey asking to be contacted. No response. I hope that Sharon was having a horrible day, because if this is how she acts every day then I'd say stay as far away as possible from her. I have to tell people to stay away from Plastic and Hand because of the treatment post opp, not telling me my bad biopsy results and instead telling me the opposite of what I should do.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Kutz and his surgical assistant, Jenny; we went through a lot together. I had a double mastectomy at the age of 43, and Dr. Kutz did an impeccable job on reconstructing my breasts. Somehow, he was able to spare my nipples and made my breasts look 18 again. At 45 what woman could ask for anything more? Well, I got more... I had to have a second reconstructive surgery due to the fact that I was wrestling with my severely autism child, three days after my surgery. Dr. Kutz was more than patient with my situation, and replaced my implant which made it look amazing again. The professionalism and sense of humor of this amazing duo was exactly what a woman in my position needed. He always asked me how my son was doing, and genuinely cared about my situation. In my opinion, I think other doctors should learn his bedside mannerisms. In closing, I would highly recommend this amazing surgeon at Plastic & Hand. He made a very difficult time in my life as pleasant as it could be in a horrible situation.

Daughter had rhinoplasty which didn't turn out right at all - looked droopier and still had a hump. We were told to give it time, so we did. A few years later, saw her nose in a scan that clearly showed the doctor did nothing to the hump, and took off parts closer to the tip that actually made the nose droop. Doctor never took responsibility for it, and rarely returned our calls. I wish I had never subjected my child to this place.

I went for a consult today. The doctor was rude and made demands that are unacceptable and unprofessional.I won’t be scheduling an appointment with them. Find another doctor.

Dr. Kutz performed my breast reduction in 2014. He did a great job, and even did a touch-up to remove extra fat at the sides for free. He was always willing to answer any questions and explain things to me and was very personable.The office staff is always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this practice.

Spent (husband and myself) 60-80,000 dollars with Dr. Flaherty in 200-2005. Today could not be trusted to have a consultation without FIRST paying a 150 dollar fee. There was no fee with Dr. Flaherty for consultation. I don't pay a hairdresser before having a haircut. What gives?

I met With Dr Maddali for the removal of a large, growing and sensitive Squamish cell on my scalp. Dr Maddali is a general surgeon as well as a plastic surgeon. He operated using MOHs surgery approach. The operation was successful, efficient and painless. I found him to be highly professional and personable, and can say the same about all of the nurses and staff I met. Highly recommended.

I had Dr Turko perform carpal tunnel surgery and ulna nerve surgery on both arms. Dr Turko will take his time and answer all of your questions without making you feel rushed. Dr Turko and his coordinator Robyn are amazing.

I had breast reconstructive surgery 11 years ago after a mastectomy and recently had them redone, with new implants and revised the positioning of the implants from Subpectoral to Prepectoral. I am thrilled with the results. Dr. Turko and the entire staff, from taking my first inquiry call to scheduling, post-op, reception, surgical staff to post-op care are all very kind, informative, meticulous and professional. Highly recommended.

She went above and beyond to ensure her work was not only serving it’s purpose to relieve back / shoulder pain, but to also make sure her work was aesthetically pleasing as well. To boot, one of her nurses, Heather, was a god send. I have never been so nervous for a procedure before and Heather is the best nurse I’ve had Had the pleasure of meeting. From offering extra warm blankets pre-surgery, to rubbing my arm while I was On the operating table saying “I will take great care of you”, I 110% recommend Therese and her team at Plastic & Hand.

Dr. Kutz is so knowledgeable and came highly recommended from several friends - he’s so down to earth, funny and just gets it. He made me feel so comfortable and assured me he would do everything he could to get me the results I was looking for. The staff never made me feel rushed after the surgery, I had a very caring nurse who sat and chatted with me for hours until I felt well enough to get up. P&H and Dr. Kutz made the entire process from beginning to end totally seamless! Can’t recommend enough

Used the practice for many years. Very successful hand surgeries with Drs there. Attempted to have a neck lift with a Dr there. Long story short, 3 attempts but no success. No Dr in Portland would attempt to right it and I was sent to a well known Dr in Boston. After $10,000 the Dr did his best with one surgery and then a little touch up. He was appalled with what he saw during surgery, but in the long run he made me look normal again.
