Dr. Markmann and his staff are friendly, professional, and very efficient. I never sat in the waiting room and was always seen quickly once taken back. Dr. Markmann explained everything about my procedure in detail and was always ready to answer my questions. His follow-up is fantastic and he makes sure that he can be reached any time if you need him. His surgical work is impeccable and his cost was fantastic. His rate is competitive but don't think that you are getting less because it is affordable. Another surgeon tried to charge me $3,000 more a year ago but I had a bad feeling about it and canceled. I'm so glad. Just after I canceled, a study came out that the type of implants she was going to use were known to cause cancer. Dr. Markmann knew about that lymphoma and said he hadn't used those implants in years! I feel so blessed that I followed my gut about the other female surgeon and went to him. You will not be disappointed at Metamorphosis! They are top notch!

I found him through a google search a few years ago when I first started to contemplate surgery, I bookmarked his website and would visit it often. At the begining of 2019 I got serious about wanting to improve my appreance. At first I considered going to Miami and NYC but had real concerns about the post surgery follow-ups with the doctor. I was concerned that the doctor would not be available to me when I had questions or if some emergency would arise. I went back to Dr. Markman's website, called and was put through to the surgery coordinator which was something that was not easy to do with the out of town offices I had considered. She was AMAZING! She was very helpful, I mean I had her on the phone FOREVER discussing what I wanted, my plans to travel for surgery and my concerns about travel verses local. What I respected was she never tried to deter me from travel, what she did was invite me in to see the doctor to discuss what I wanted and ask him all of the medical questions that she could not answer. Once I meet Dr. Markman and talked to him about the the changes I wanted and all the questions about the surgery I knew that I would have him take care of me. He was professional, realistic about my outcome and most importantly he was personally available to me after surgery any time--day and night. I loved that. And let's talk about how he is an absolute MASTER at what he does, a true artist and I am soooooooooooooooooo incrediably HAPPY with my outcome. Thank you to Dr. Markman and staff. I got a high-end facial laser treatment in this practice. I REALLY wanted to believe in the good results that some people seem to have gotten judging by their before/after pictures in the office. For $1900 I feel completely disappointed in the results, which have been nonexistent. However, their tattoo removal (much cheaper) really delivers results if you stick with the treatments.

RUDE AND UNCOMPASSIONATE!!! I rely on reviews when I plan to spend money on a product or service. Therefore, I feel it is my obligation to return the favor and leave one, for others who rely on them, as well. I want to get a Brazilian butt lift, rhinoplasty and a breast lift. Because I'm paying completely out of pocket for the procedures, I did a lot of research on local plastic surgeons (I live in Maryland). I came across Dr. Markman at Metamorphosis. The reviews were good and I got to see before and after photos of his patients' for the BBL and breast lift, although very limited. There are no photos for rhinoplasty so I was a bit skeptical about getting the procedure done here. I called this office in early June 2017 to make an appointment for consultation. Their earliest appointment was June 30th, so I booked this date. Today is June 30th and I thought while I'm here at the hospital with my daughter (emergency) I'd write this review; while I had the opportunity. I called the office (metamorphosis) after I got a call about my daughter being at the hospital. MOST PEOPLE WOULDNT DO THAT IN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION but I knew I had an appointment today and did it while I was scrambling looking for my daughter's insurance information and other stuff. I originally spoke to Brittany, who was kind when she answered the phone. I explained the situation then she put me on hold. Honestly, I was close to hanging up the phone because it wasn't that important for me to wait on the phone when I had more serious things to attend to. Then Heather came on the phone. I then repeated my situation to her and she became irritable. She started discussing how they are losing money and an hour slot they saved for me, then went into how the doctor will just be "sitting around". Kept pushing for me to push my appointment time 30 minutes back. I called around 10am, my appointment was at 12pm and they wanted to push it to 12:30pm. RIDICULOUS! Her tone became disheartening and uncomfortable to bare when I told her I don't know if I would make it in time because I'M GOING TO THE HOSPITAL! Soon after, I was done with the conversation. When I leave this hospital I will not be calling to reschedule an appointment. There's no way I will be putting my life in these people hands with customer service like that! Besides, I'm still skeptical about the rhinoplasty. I'll pay the extra money and go to Miami to get my procedures done.

Liposuction of flanks, waist and abdomen. Dr. Markmann and his staff were great through the whole process from start to finish! They truly care about having you feel comfortable with the procedure and follow through with any questions, problems or concerns. I had my first pre-op this morning (4 days later) and I am already so impressed with the reshaping of my body! I have a long way to go for the swelling to go down but I’m so grateful I found them to help me with this procedure! I think the support level from the entire office staff and Dr Markmann has been the best! I stayed overnight at Northwest (partner hospital) as expected and even that stay was comforting and as relaxing as possible. They accomodated my vegan requests with the best brown rice, black beans and broccoli ever. Post-op was a breeze because of the great instructions that were given and I really appreciate the great customer service and attention to details.

I have had laser hair removal, facials, microdermabrasion (and other services) at this practice over the years all with positive results. This practice was originally recommended to me some years ago by my primary care physician and I have grown to trust them and have made them my go to for medi spa type services in the Baltimore area. Even though they specialize in high end plastic surgery, don't be intimated, they do it all, even the small stuff. Did I mention how affordable they are as well? I can't say enough about this practice. The staff is friendly and personable and helpful.

2 years ago I had a life threatening Appendectomy where the surgeon made an excision from belly button to pubic area. I came in to see Dr. Markmann. I thoroughly researched & reviewed Plastic Surgeons within the area. Dr. Markmann was by far the most qualified, had excellent reviews, and the before and after photographs were phenomenal. Dr. Markmann was very professional and made me feel comfortable at the consult, pre operation, and all post operation appointments. After having my child, I was left with extra weight and stretch marks. I was extremely satisfied with the outcome of the surgery (Tummy Tuck & Liposuction). I am aware these numbers are dependant on the proportions of the individual. However from the surgery alone, I lost 20 lbs and five inches around my waist! I can only expect the waistline to shrink more after swelling goes down. Dr. Markmann has a very detailed manner and it shows with every surgery result. I highly recommend Dr. Markmann to anyone wanting any procedure! I trust that his professionalism, detailed-oriention and sheer skills would apply to all areas of his Plastic Surgery practice. If I need anything else completed, I know Dr. Markmann is who I will call. The care coordinators, receptionist and nurse are exceptional as well.

I looked around for doctors that specialized in this across the entire U.S. Of the handful of really, really outstanding ones, Dr. Markmann's results appeared to be the best. So I consulted with him. The staff I had the opportunity to interact with were stellar. Ashley was very helpful in coordinating the procedure. Dr. Markmann did an amazing job. I could not have asked for better work to be done. Frankly, I've never met a more personable doctor either. A doctor with this level of skill, personality, and bedside manner are hard to find. Today I had a microdermabrasion treatment with Scarlett Davis, Esthetician. My first encounter with Scarlett was very warm & friendly. I immediately felt comfortable with her. As we proceeded to the treatment room, she instructed me to remove my clothing from waist up. She gave me a few mins to change & knocked before entering the room. This is something I’m big on is someone knocking before entering. She then explained everything she was going to do. A bonus for me was a neck massage. Scarlett made me feel at ease & comfortable while conversing about skin care & routines while getting to know what past treatments I’ve had. She also made recommendations on Skinbetter science products as she’s used them before. While I’ve had microdermabrasions in the past, this was by the far the BEST treatment ever!!! Thanks Scarlett. I do look forward to my next treatment in about a month or so. I highly recommend Scarlett. Extremely great bed side manners!!!

Dr. Markmann and his team provide all that and more! I am trusting Dr. Markmann for my "mid-life refresh" - and I know I couldn't be in better hands. I've done extensive research, and Dr. Markmann is definitely top of his field, particularly in terms of natural, lasting, and aesthetically beautiful results. FIRST THE LADY WHO DEALS WITH FINANCES WAS NOT CLEAR ABOUT ALL THE FEES I HAD TO PAY $925 AFTER I ALREADY PAID FOR MY PROCEDURE.
