I came to Dr. Thornton for botox and filler. This was my first visit, although I’ve gotten Botox for the past three years elsewhere, but never filler. My past experiences, with my previous Dr, had me very hesitant and nervous. It was always so painful. To my surprise, I could hardly feel Dr. Thornton’s injections. He is the epitome of a knowledgeable professional who has a clear passion for his work. It’s only day 2 and already the filler is doing it’s job. The results from Botox usually take a bit more time before you see a real difference. I love how I look on day two and I can not wait to see how it looks in two weeks. One of my favorite experiences at any clinic ever. They went above and beyond when I mentioned to Dr Thornton that I had found a lump on my breast the day before. His staff were able to get me an appointment for a mammogram at Anderson’s Hospital and they instructed me on how to get a discount on it because I do not have insurance. Just an all around wonderful experience. Oh, I almost forgot to mention, their prices on Botox are exactly 1/2 of what I was paying at the other Dr. So, if you are toying with the idea of getting Botox or filler, Meridian Plastic Surgery is the way to go.

I gave 3 stars because Dr. Elliot and his staff were pretty awesome!!! Southern hospitality at its best. I didn’t give 5 stars, because I wasn’t satisfied with my results. I had lipo on my flanks and abdomen. I know there you will be swollen for months after surgery and you will have knots as well. I did massages and my stomach went down some, but not as much as I was expecting or as I was told. True enough my stomach was a bit smaller, but not $4,300 + dollars worth or would’ve gotten a tummy tuck. It’s been two years and I’ve loss 40 pounds on my own and have kept the weight off, but my belly… disappointing. I was supposed to go back just to get pictures taken, but honestly I was kind of embarrassed. I still speak highly of them and have referred people to them, but I just didn’t get the results I expected. I was told 2500 cc, but after surgery only 1100 cc were taken and was told that was all the fat. Yet, after losing 40 pounds or so after surgery, my belly is the biggest thing on me. Love handles are pretty much gone, but belly ????.

Dr. Thornton has been so kind & helpful with my Botox injections I get for migraines. I’ve been going every 90 days & my headaches have been reduced significantly. Fortunately the staff was able to assist me with billing my insurance for reimbursement for part of the procedure. Honestly, I would still see Dr. Thornton even without the reimbursement. Everyone in the office is incredibly helpful. I am using the Obagi skin care line and the staff spent so much time with me explaining all the products. The office is immaculate, all of the staff have been extremely helpful, and Dr. Thornton can always put a smile on my face - hopefully with a few less wrinkles on my forehead too.
