I've had a recurring back issue for over 15 years. After a fresh bought of back pain I wanted to see a Dr at Rockland MD in the hopes that I could work with someone that would make an effort to understand what the underlying problem was. I hoped there would be interest in what was causing the issue I am having. I did not get that here with the Dr I saw and I am very unhappy with the minimal treatment I received (less than 2 mins).

They eye clinic is the best I’ve ever been too they’re so nice fast and actually answers you on time and they’re patient I was supposed to go pick up my glasses at a certain time but I ended up having to reschedule twice because I was waiting on someone but anyways I was finally on my way there and I was running about 30 minutes late and they close at 4pm on the weekends I was still running to the clinic at 3:58 I got in at 3:59 and I met with the receptionist and she still attended and gave me my glasses and even helped adjust it even if it was time for her to go home she took her time and helped me with what I needed she saw I was sweating because I was running so they don’t close before I get there and she asked if I’d like to have a bottle of water I was like that’ll be great.. She definitely deserves a raise and definitely best customer service I’ve ever experienced I have already recommended the eye clinic to 5 people already and I’ll continue because they’re the best

The doctor didn’t have his stethoscope, didn’t know how the printer works for printing prescription, and wrote the wrong xray examination, later he came back to correct it. We were not convinced with the diagnosis and didn’t take the strong antibiotics prescribed for 15 days just for cough. Won’t recommend! I drove from Gatineau to Rockland MD about 3-4 weeks ago for a cortisone injection in my spine. The appointment was with Dr. Korkmaz and he was fantastic - very friendly, did everything to make me feel comfortable and the procedure went without a hiccup. My only "not-so-favourable" comment pertains to the wait time. I left home (2 hours away) early, arrived on time for my appointment and waited nearly 1.5 hours AFTER the scheduled time to see Dr. Korkmaz. I wasn't particularly impressed, especially considering the fact Rockland MD is a private clinic. **Please note that my comment about wait times is an observation, not a complaint. One must bear in mind that many variables can affect a doctors schedule** Other than the wait time, Rockland MD is a great medical establishment. My back is feeling 100x's better than before and if I ever require treatment again, I'll definitely come back to Rockland MD!

The worse clinic I ever seen. I have terrible pain in the leg, but they think only about money, not about patients. I called them twice trying to make appointment. First time they just forgot that my insurance company already called them and agreed on everything, so I had to ask my insurance company to call them again. Second time, they asked me to provide my credit card number. They want to have on file in case my insurance company won't pay, despite the fact that my insurance company was ready to pay for visit upfront. No ,this week she reply.To be fair,I'm not blaming the Doctor,in current situation,they do what the can,but the administration staff should be more communicative,for example,just call the patience to let them know the consultation is cancelled.its only fair.when you make appointment with you doctor,they ask you 24 hours notice to cancel ,then they charge you fees,I think it should be the same way around,why is our time less important than they're especially now when we have kids at home all day long ,and have to manage 100 different things.The God syndrome still persist in health care!

I see Dr.Scheim at the clinic and am very happy with the care she provides. Very empathetic but also no-nonsense when it comes to telling you what you need to do. First time in a while I felt a doctor was actually listening to me during an appointment. As for the clinic itself, building was very clean, appointments are usually right in time and booking an appointment is quick (usually the week of or the following week). With COVID, there’s been a bit more miscommunication between the doctors and the front desk (receiving incomplete documenta) but it seems to have improved over the last few months

Polite, helpful staff to book appointment, excellent nurses precede excellent MD exam & care. MD may also conduct telephone review of lab work. All round excellence in medical care, and worth spending for expert GP advice. Great relief to find a wonderful MD.
My doctors office and the waiting rooms are modern and clean. The secretarial staff respond quickly to e-mails and advise diligently of upcoming telephone appointments. There is also plenty of free parking next to the back entrance of the building.

Over all, a good service, the only thing that stoped me to give 5 stars is that when I called to ask about sending an information I needed to take an x-ray, while waiting at the radiology unit, it took almost 2 hours and several phonecalls and emails (from me to them) to be able to receive the information I needed. Besides that, it's a good service.

Twice the person picks up then hangs up, and the other two times you are simply returned to the top of the menu and you start all over again for another person to simply hang up on you when you say "hello". I am very satisfied with the care and services given at Rockland MD. Dr Alyssa Scheim our family doctor is great. She cares and always follows up on her cases. She is a warm and knowledgeable person and we love her.

It was my first time at Rockland MD I must say that I was not impressed, I was sent off for an x-ray and was never called back with the results. Two days later I had tried to reach out to the doctor with no luck of a call back after leaving a message. Called back the next day and spoke to a nurse that told me everything was fine. But still it is not fine and I will not be going back. I will not be referring Rockland MD to anyone.

I've used RocklandMD services several times and my recent visit followed one week after having been seen at a public walk-in. Night & day experience. Very welcoming downtown office, conveniently located. Reception was courteous - I didn't miss feeling like just a number. Shortly after my reception, I was brought in by the nurse - I really appreciate the nurse intake - I forgot that's what a medical practice includes after having gone to public for so long. Shortly afterwards, I met Dr Pineau, who was attentive, responsive, and engaged in determining a suitable course of action for my care. I never felt rushed and I never felt that I had unnecessarily wasted time or that I was being dismissed by a doctor, as I have previously experienced at a walk-in. After my visit, RocklandMD advised that I could choose where to have my labs done - all perfectly acceptable to me. I believe I have a much better understanding of my care plan as a result of my visit. I know that this clinic is fee for service - but based on reading the feedback, and how quickly there's follow-up to less than ideal encounters by other patients, I would say that RocklandMD is setting the bar for the type of medical service we deserve, whether public or private.

I had a visit to the hospital last Friday and the doctor was no doubt was good and professional and patience enough to understand the problem. He prescribed me to get a sonography , x-ray and blood reports done as I was having a pain below my chest . The sonography reports however showed I had fatty liver and x-ray was normal and report was done outside the hospital and were within 72 hours as per the clinic. But blood reports are still not given and it’s been a week that I haven’t received a call from the hospital regarding my visit to the doctor again . I don’t know what to do in such an unappropriated situation. It is really very disappointing that a patient has to wait for a week . I do understand that it’s COVID time and it may take 3-4 days keeping the emergency of the pandemic but it’s almost a week now and I m really disappointed.
I am going to be very blunt here-- you have two doctors that shouldn't be anywhere near patients coming in to discuss mental health. Dr Harrison and Dr San Miguel offer the same quality as public doctors, which is the most polite way I can describe their bedside manner and problem solving ability. I am extremely happy with my new GP (Dr Scheim) at Rockland, which is why I've given them back some points. I should not have had to request her specifically, though.

You charge way too much. I do not see why we have to pay a "maintenance" fee for when we go see the doctor the first time of the year. I was disaponted by this. I don't mind paying, but having those "hidden" fees were a bit cheap for such a organization that want to be at the top.

Avoid it at all cost "Complexe Sante Rockland" 1. First they ask you to do a test and promise that they will call you in 2 weeks. 2 weeks passed, no-one calls. 2. After two weeks you call them back to ask for your results. They don't provide, they say that you need to talk to doctor and for that you need to schedule an appointment (even that you were supposed to get the reaults one they are ready ). Fine. You schedule another appointment in 2 weeks as nothing is available earlier. 3.2 weeks passed. No-one calls. You call back and ask why you did not receive a call. They say the doctor wa busy and that us why no-one called. Fine you asked why you were not notified that call was canceled and for when it was rescheduled. They don't reply anything and asking if you want to schedule another appointment (just in case you changed your mind ). They try to be nice to you and give you an appointment in one week. 4. Here you start fighting, as you already waited for 4 weeks. They being even more nicer, give up an appointment in the next 3 days instead of 1 week 5. Finally doctor calls. He spends less than 3 minutes (to be exact 2 minutesand 56 seconds (i am just curious how many such patient you need to have, that you spend only 3 minutes on call, and then next available appointment is only in 2 weeks)) and in this time he explains you your results and saying that they need to make another test, and schedule another test in 6 months. And the circle starts again. It is been 2 months since waiting for an updates... People don't understand that when you are sick or worry you need to have an update not in 2 weeks, not in 3 days, not today, but yesterday. As each hour of not knowing is killing even more, and it is good if there is nothing bad, but if there is something and some actions need to be taken, it actually can cause some real issues. For them, once you showed them your health insurance car and Québec payd them their money, you are nothing more than past...
Sad to write a one start review for such renown clinic: we were refused a one-to-one meeting because of "covid-like symptoms" ! We mentioned that it is not COVID and we have a negative test result that proves it from the same day. They proposed an over-the-phone meeting for 300$. OFC!
I received a confirmation call of my appointment with an ENT dr yesterday. I showed up to my appointment to be told it's rescheduled! Not only this, but due to this clinics disorganization when I called to book the original appointment I was booked in with a GP which cost money out of pocket and not the ENT which I had a referral with. To leave the GP office I would have to pay $75 to cancel the appointment that was with the wrong Dr, but because I dropped my referral on the way to the appointment I needed a new GP referral and was stuck seeing this expensive GP. I've essentially paid $130 to see this ENT, just to have my appointment cancelled without notice. I've taken over an hour out of my day to get there, and they couldn't even be considerate enough to leave a voice mail to tell me it was cancelled.

I have spinal stenosis and went to Rockland MD to see the physiatrist as well as the Orthopedic specialist. Overall experience was very underwhelming. With the positive reviews, I was expecting a more human and resourceful team. I still have pain, and despite paying to see the orthopaedic surgeon, I saw him probably 10 minutes. He didn’t even look at my MRI. Only gave me more stronger medication and told me he would ensure the physiatry department would call me within a day or two...did not receive any call, I am the one calling and getting different answers for different members of the team. I give up with Rockland MD and will look for another clinic.

I did a routine medical check up on 27 December 2019 (as I do every year) and I indicated I was traveling out of Canada on 11 January. I was promised the results in a few days. A few days before my travel day, I contacted the clinic for my results and I was told the doctor was away until 10th January. I called on this day and the receptionist was not at all amicable. She informed me the doctor was back on that day but had to see the report (which I can understand), but as I tried to get a firm promise from her that I would get my results this day, given my travel schedule, all she could tell me was that "I can't do anything about that. You have to wait. We'll get back to you when the doctor has seen it and he has many other files". I didn't think that was very courteous. I finally got my results in the late afternoon by a nurse but I was almost out of patience.

I filled out the online form late at night on the 4th. The morning of the 5th I got a phone call from a receptionist, asking for my information and offering me an appointment within the week. I was given the choice of location, day, time and even the sex of my doctor. The clinic itself is very clean and large (the Sherbrooke one). I reached around 15 minutes before my appointment and I was able to speak to the receptionists- who were very polite and friendly (and bilingual in case you are worried). I saw my doctor the time of my appointment and there was a nurse was present in the room too. They were very respectful and examined me & then gave me a prescription- all within 20 minutes. I was able to pay at the reception right after without a hitch and there is a pharmacy right next to the clinic so I could get my meds immediately. I would definitely recommend. I am an international student and I have been to 4 other clinics/hospitals- where I had to wait for hours on end to even see a nurse.

Scammers: Made an appointment on the phone for the day after. Had to pay a Deposit by Credit Card for it. After discussions, the clinic and myself come to a disagreement on the bill (this clinic refuses to detail the bill, for some obscure reasons), I ask if it's possible to cancel and be refunded the deposit. The lady on the phone says there is no problem, under the conditions that I cancel before the end of the day, at 5:00pm. I cancel at 2:30pm, about an hour after I paid the Deposit via Credit Card. The lady calls back 10 minutes later and claim that I will not be fully refunded because her nurse already did the paperworks and it's "Unfair to take somebody else's place". I replied that what's unfair is to tell something to somebody then backing up to steal 75$ from this person, which she replied "This is how we treat everyone, the same, as equals." I have been ripped off purely and simply and I will never contact this BUSINESS anymore. It is not a clinic, it's a pawnshop where people are told lies and manipulated into donating money.

Extremely dissatisfied with my experience at Rockland MD. I had an appointment scheduled today (January 7th, 2016) at 10:45. As traffic was light, I arrived at the clinic early - approximately 10:10 am. I checked in with the secretary, put on the blue booties, and sat in the waiting room. As I was accompanied by my mother we were invited to sit in the area adjacent to the washroom. I was first called in by the nurse, Aracely, who was very competent. I then returned to the waiting room, where I waited for quite a long time to meet with Dr. Celine Desjardins. She only saw me at 11:30 - 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. Before I even sat down, she informed me that it was already 11:30, and that her next patient was ready, so she would not be able to spend a lot of time with me, and that we should schedule another appointment. I was very confused, as she was running late, whereas I was early, and somehow her poor time management skills should become my problem? She did not perform a physical exam on me, and only performed a pap test because I demanded one. She dismissed my concerns stating that as I had an ultrasound performed when I was pregnant, any issues would have been diagnosed at that time. The last ultrasound was performed more than a year ago. I am pretty sure that something could have changed over the course of the year, She was not interested in hearing more about my concerns. She spent less than 10 minutes with me. I was livid when I left. The secretary recommended writing a complaint to her supervisor. I paid my bill quickly, in cash, and left. When I arrived home, I noticed that I was charged $75 for "Consultation avec gynecologue - 15 min additionnel". 15 minutes EXTRA??? She did not even spend 15 minutes total with me! Private clinics now being a dime a dozen live and die on their reputations for good customer service. When your clients are treated this way, I cannot imagine that Rockland MD will be around for the long haul. AVOID. I expect to be reimbursed the $75 as there was NO additional time spent with me.
Have been a patient there for many years and have seen the quality of services go from bad to worse over the years. It culminated with an appointment taken for today at 9.50 am. We walked out at 11.15 am without being seen but he doctor, and after being shoved in a 6chair waiting room that had 11 people in there. So after standing fir over an hour (forget about COVID protocols being respected ) we decided to walk away. Have been on hold for over 25 minutes, transferred twice, trying to at least get our referral so we can go to another clinic. After being passed to different people we got a voicemail and left a message. I doubt we will hear back …… if I could give less than a star I would

First time at the clinic, receptionists and nurse were very nice and polite. Dr. Harisson was polite in the beginning, but to be honest, as I saw her I had a bad feeling, something like she doesn't seem to have much experience, she wasn't really listening and she seemed to be stuck in her medical books. I politely asked her several times to prescribe me antibiotics and not just cough medicine and nasal spray. I was spitting out blood and had been coughing for a week and with fever. She refused, and wanted me to first take the cough medicine and then see for ANOTHER WEEK if it gets better or not, if not, THEN she will prescribe antibiotics. I couldn't afford to wait again and take a chance like that with my health. Usually when I get bronchitis, the doctor would do the diagnosis and then prescribe antibiotics and problem solved. Dr. Harisson seemed to be just following what she learned at med school and doesn't listen to the patients, at all. In the end, she agreed to my request after I insisted for 5 minutes, still being polite, and she tells me "I am very depressed that professional advices are not being listened to" I just ignored that comment. She then added "If you are looking for a follow up, find another doctor because this is not my style" and she stands up to open the door. Just rude and ignorant. Anyway, I would like to let her know that after 1 day of taking the antibiotics, my cough got better, and no more blood coming out of my throat.

I have joined Rockland MD clinic because I was looking for fast and good service. This is what I received from Rockland clinic. Thanking Dr Pineau for familarizing himself with my existing medical situation and he gave me very satisfactory service.
I was very happy with the Doctor, Dr. Scheim. She deserves 5 stars. The office staff and nurses were welcoming and accommodating. But the communication between the doctor and the front desk needs to be improved. After my first visit, I was told by the Dr. that I would receive a call from the front desk re the blood test results and a subsequent appointment would be made for a follow up visit to the doctor. I never received a call and I made the appointment myself after waiting a few weeks. I reported this to the doctor at my follow up visit. At this visit, the doctor told me that they would definitely call me in one to two weeks to find out how the rash that I had was responding to the medication that she prescribed. I again never received a call. So improvement is definitely called for.

The clinic has recently raised the consultation fees of the dietitian from $85 of last year to $100 while our insurances consider the market rate cost of a dietician much lower. I don’t think there was a need for the clinic to raise its fees. They have already been high

On July 1st, 2019, I took the chance and called to see if RocklandMD was open, as it was a national holiday, and I was in desperate need of medical attention. The idea of going to the hospital to wait for hours added to my distress and so, I picked up the phone and called. To my surprise, they were open and I was able to get an appointment an hour after my call. I was lucky enough to have had my initial assessment with nurse Elisa who is the most compassionate, empathetic, professional nurse I have ever met (I work in the medical field so I am truly able to say this without a doubt). I was then introduced to Dr. Harrison who was an absolute blessing. I have since gone back to Rockland MD for numerous follow-up appointments and various other appointments that had nothing to do with my initial visit. The service, warmth, promptness, compassion, knowledge, expertise, empathy, sincerity and professionalism that I have received by both Elisa and Dr. Harrison at every one of my subsequent visits (as I now explicitly book my appointments around their schedules and availability) has made the costs of the appointments seem negligible. I could not speak more highly of this clinic or it’s staff. You definitely have a patient for life!

1. I had to wait for the covid triage person on my last 2 visits. She seemed to be elsewhere in the building rather than at her station. 2. The consultatuon process with the nutritionist was effective and efficient. I was goven interesting and helpful nutritiion information which is easy to impliment. 3. The checkout process is lengthy. Staff put priority on teleph9one busineess one is left standing , waiting for calls to end. Once staff get to you they are vourteous and efficient, but the priority seems odd. In summary the profesdional consult is a 5 but the sipport system is not. Therefore 3 stars.

Additional information: Several weeks ago, my friend sent photos of his toe. It was quite red and swollen. Since the email was sent, there has been - no - communication on the part of RocklandMD. He also rang the office and left a message. No return call. I find this uncaring and unprofessional. It is shocking. The only thought one can have is that once the patient has been seen and paid, they must pay again for some simple advice.

Can't seem to be reached by phone. I've been on the phone waiting for over 25 minutes. Every once in a while I get pushed back to the main menu and then have to go through the process all over again. I can't seem to be able to reach anyone on the phone line. Is this place really worth it if I can't even call and reach someone? Took multiple visits to the pathologist diagnose a simple and obvious issue. Every time I was charged. Then I saw one of their surgeon, he charged me $250 for a visit that lasted less than 5 min, He was very terse and rude..zero empathy..

I had 15 min consultation with orthopedic doctor after waiting for 5 weeks, including Christmas vocation. Doctor read description of MRI, but didn't see CD. He even didn't touch my knees. I came for third opinion about knee arthroscopy. I expected in private clinic more attention, spacial for 290 $. I was so disappointment that even didn't ask him about new treatments, as blood plasma injections...

It took me so long to find a family doctor through the system here in Quebec, and when I finally did I thought I would be ok when in came to treating my chronic illness. I was wrong. He's so old that he's sick and misses his appointments all the time, and treatment is very questionable and inconsistent. RocklandMD has really stepped in to fill this gap, and at reasonable prices I can afford easily. I really like this place.

My wife and I have been going here for the past year for cancerous cells check up by the same Genecolist all the time the bill would be about 300 to 500$ until one day the doctor decide to do a bunch of test on her without telling her or asking her . The bill ended up being 1000$ for the same stuff she usually gets done... the secretary at front desk with blond hair was extremely rude and insulted us. The owner came out and told me she wasn't negotiating and was very mean . This place is a real scam . They kept harassing and calling my wife because apparently she needed to get checked every 3 to 6 months ?! Horrible experience . Never going back. Appreciate friendly, professional and rapid service. Appreciate having the choice of where I’d like my medical services delivered. Would recommend RocklandMD and will return for care once again! Clinic should have improved signs. We had to get a test and neither the parking lot nor the test tent were identified. Even if it said Rockland MD it would have been more helpful. Also there should be an option on the telephone System for testing rather than waitIng ten minutes on the telephone to be directed to the testing staff.

I have been a patient at Rockland MD for 3 years and have the regrets. The staff is pleasant, and the nurses are great. As for Dr. Sheim and Dr. Desjardins are absolutely fantastic . They make your visit super comfortable , like talking to a friend. Which makes it easy to ask anything.
Absolute nonsense. Went to see a doctor, informed them I had private insurance and that the insurance would be sending forms over to be reimbursed. Two weeks later paperwork still as not been filled out. You need to be improve your customer service as I have other options and other clinics that will gladly accept my money.

I was a tourist in Montreal looking for a clinic that would actually give me an appointment with a gynecologist and a general doctor. Got appointments quickly which was very good, but the doctors only have 15 minutes. Everything else (any test included) is gonna cost you more. Fees are high since it's private. I thought that would be better but in the end it felt a bit rushed.I went there because of a possible infection, but instead of taking a test for that, I've been told to think about another unrelated test that probably would have cost me a lot. Payed a lot of money to literally be looked at, and that's it.

To the results from the visit takes way too long. For example saw the doctor in August of last year, then in October told I had an issue with my liver, had an ultrasound done in December, got the results in January, had a visit with specialist at Rockland MD February, got blood tests on March 8th. We were visiting family in Montreal and my wife started coughing and observe symptoms of a cold or maybe worse. We opted to go to a private Clinique "Rockland MD" instead of the hospital emergency believing that private is always run better. That was one time I am sad to say is not true, the doctor examined her symptoms diagnosed her with a virus infection and offer her salinex which is a nose spray. We called our MD in the states over my cell phone who asked us what the doctor in Canada diagnosed her with, also as he did not examine her he recommended some over the counter remedies based on the Canadian doctor examination, syrup for the cough and soar throat, salt water gurgle and to monitor the temperature as he suspected it is more than a virus. We were heading back to the states in two days, he recommended to go to the emergency if it worsen and to see him when we are back. Once we were back to the states, our family doctor examined my wife, the diagnostics was sinus infection and bronchitis; she is now getting treatment and starting to feel better. I hope this medical center "Rockland MD" is not a representation of the quality of private medicine in Canada as I would love for this sector to grow and become an alternate to the long waits in emergency rooms.

It was bad experience I have RA and after PRP in this clinic I became in my worst. pains in all my joints even in joints I had never felt pain when I complained they asked me another payment what is not fair instead of been treated they made my sickness worst. I expect more professionalism when I walk in a private cleaning. The radio was playing a spanish radio station. I felt I was in a club. I also expect when I am paying 300$ to see a doctor, for her to be on time. My appointment was at 1h30 and she took me at 2h30. This was my second visit and my last.
2 stars because the doctors are doing their job as it should be expected... But that is the only thing that is working as it supposed to do so. The receptionists are doing a minimum effort to do theirs. Attitude is rude, and very unprofessional either in person or on the phone. It seems to me that like they are doing us a favor. My insurance company had to call them to tell them how to do their job because they couldn't find a fax letter that was being sent at least 4 times. A total shame to have people like that taking an important role as the first contact with the clients. (This is what I encountered at the Rockland Downtown Montreal. )

I had a surgery on the 4th. I had a specific time to be there but on the day of the surgery I received a call from the secretary of the operation unit to show up earlier. And so I did. After 1.5 hour of waiting in the waiting area I asked the secretary what was going on and she told me that finally my surgery will happen as originally planned... Lack of communication and disappointed..the rest of the staff though very professional and fun smiling faces!

I was ripped off and misinformed by the doctor and the secretary was VERY arrogant and condescending. In August, the doctor asked to do a follow up once I got back home from studying abroad for the Christmas break in December. The situation didn't required a follow up and definitely didn't required a private doctor (as stated by public doctor at another clinic). No information was disclose by any of the staffs regarding related fees for the follow up. In total, I wasted over 600$ for 2 check ups that could have been done for free. They don't want to provide the best solution for you, they just want to make money.
Met the doctor for an annual visit. Very friendly and understanding. However, it is impossible to communicate with the doctor through the nurses or reception. Spoke to a nurse regarding a medication I am taking but she had no knowledge. Never got a call back. Very bad communication.

They ripped me off by billing me for a full price of an appointment for trying to reschedule (for an emergency) claiming I took someone's spot. This previous BS statement was right after mistakenly telling me there is another free slot at a different time the same day. When I said that its not fair considering they twice made mistakes with my appointments and I didn't ask for refunds, they decided against my will to go charge my credit card anyway. It feels that I'm dealing with a mob not a clinic! A horrible horrible place to deal with, avoid at all cost!
