For a person in a wheelchair, surgery should really be done by endoscopy. My husband could do his transfers on his own right after the surgery. Dr Brutus also operates on the elbows, which is where the problem often comes from. Thank you Dr Brutus! Très bons suivis également. Pour une personne en chaise roulante, c'est vraiment par endoscopie que la chirurgie devrait être faite. Mon mari pouvait faire ses transferts seul tout de suite après la chirurgie. Dr Brutus opère également les coudes, d'où vient souvent le problème. Merci Dr Brutus!

My experience exceeded expectations. As a walk-in visitor from Ontario in April after review of the website for Dr. Brutus pertaining to Dupuytrens Contracture I learned more in a brief but thorough and informative consultation. I was fortunate and impressed that an opening in the schedule was created in consideration of my travel agenda. With reassurances from friendly and bilingual staff Dr. Brutus thoroughly explained my condition in both hands and what the optimum procedure and recovery period would be. I was scheduled for Needle Aponeurotomy on one hand late April then the other hand early May. Dr. Brutus and nursing plus office staff provided excellent chair-side care and follow-up in this process. I was amazed how in such short time my hands again were flat though I too would have to work through exercises in recovery to complete the process. I recommend this team for their skillful work and dedication. In a month I was healed nicely and again able to enjoy many simple things in life. I can again shake hands; pat shoulders; swim faster; wave; use tools, grip cutlery and sports equipment effectively; use my i-phone and computer keyboards better; wear gloves comfortably; handle hot coffee cups at a drive-thru; use Dyson hand dryers; and open doors without concerns.
