Fantastic doctor. I went to Dr.Balbul to get his opinion on a few moles I had on my back, he quickly examined them and said they were benign. When i asked if we could have them removed for cosmetic purposes, he agreed. The procedure took about 4 minutes and we chatted the whole time to distract me of any pain while injecting the local anaesthesia. He then scraped the moles with a special tool, showed me how to take care of the wounds and that was it. He seemed to be in a hurry but that's understandable because 4 other patients were waiting outside. He wasnt rude at all though, and took the the time to answer all my questions . The only downfall is that you have to book an appointment literally 3 or 4 months in advance Very good experience overall

Went there to get a tumor checked on my back. he looked at my back, said he didn't see anything and tried to get me to leave! I had to physically take his hand and make him feel the lump!!! To which he exclaimed, Oh its probably just lipoma, you are young, dont worry about it. That was it!

I was also a loyal patient for many years. My skin condition was kept at bay with all kinds of creams and lotions which made me pretty happy. However, I started to realize that all these pharmaceuticals were having serious side effects on my health. Dr. Babul was not concerned and simply offered different pills. After I discovered functional medicine, I realized that Dr. Babul, like most doctors, never tried to understand why my skin condition existed in the first place. Like others have mentioned, he rushed you out, but my biggest concern is that he does not take into account your overall health (I was on the pill for years and her never bothered to check my hormone levels). Almost never discussed possible side effects and did not seem to care about them. Now, my skin is better than ever thanks to my own research, natural supplements and a healthy diet.

Dr Alfred Balbul is genius, he knows what he's talking about, he explains everything to you, it's my third time visiting him. I had this skin condition for 14 years, I saw several dermatologists in Montreal and Toronto, nobody knew what I had, few years ago I visited Dr Balbul and within few seconds he told me to use a cream that I paid $109 at the pharmacy and 5 days later my condition vanished after 14 long years.

Dr. Balbul and his associates are efficient and knowledgeable. They may not have 30 minutes to spend chatting with you but if you are there to have dermatological issues resolved, you won't be disappointed. The poor reviews are really not reflective of my and my friends and family members experiences with Dr. Balbul. I'm glad I didn't pay attention to the reviews.

Certainly not the friendliest doctor on earth, after waiting three month to see him, at the meeting he was rushing me, when I asked him if I can come back to see him whenever I have a flare up of my skin condition he replied:" I am not your friend!! Why should I accept you on those basis. " While I was asking him to be compassionate he said he had no time for compassion, he has a full office. Although this so called doctor has diplomas on the wall, he lacks the ethics and compassion this profession requires. I would suggest to someone like him who seemed blazé in his profession, to recycle himself in a different profession where peoples' contact is not required. Additionally, his treatment was not even effective!!

I hesitated at 1st when I saw the reviews but I'm glad I didn't pay attention to them. I had a great experience with Dr Balbul he was very friendly, smiling all the time, fast and most of all highly effective. Never trust the reviews at 100% go and see by yourself before you make a judgment because everyone's experience vary from person to another.

I did the blood test, then called his secretary to find out when the results came out. She told me a week. I called her after a week, she told me that the result will take a month !!!! Plus, she tells me that Dr. Balbul said I can take it. When I asked her how I can take it if the results haven't come out yet, she said okay so wait a month. I don't really understand what he and his secretary are trying to do, but really don't go to his house, that's advice. Her secretary is the most rude person in the world, besides, she used to tell me it's my face and not hers, so if I want I can wait a month. Which answer!! (Original) Il ne désire même pas une étoile, lui et sa secrétaire. La dernière fois, je lui ai dit que je vais prendre accutane. Il m’a dit oui, mais il faut faire une prise de sang pour savoir si tu peux le supporter ou pas. J’ai fais la prise de sang, après j’ai appelé sa secrétaire pour savoir quand le résultat sort. Elle m’a dit une semaine. Je lui ai appelé après une semaine, elle me disait que le résultat va prendre un mois!!!! De plus, elle me dit que Dr.Balbul a dit que je peux le prendre. Quand je lui ai demandé comment je peux le prendre si le résultat n’est pas encore sorti, elle me disait ok alors attend un mois. Je ne comprends pas vraiment ce que lui et sa secrétaire essayent de faire, mais vraiment ne pas aller chez lui, c’est un conseil. Sa secrétaire est la personne la plus impolie du monde, de plus, elle me disait que c'est mon visage et non pas le sien, alors si je veux je peux attendre un mois. Quelle réponse!!

I have been a loyal patient of Dr. Balbul for 16 years. For the most part, I went for a consultation once a year and whatever skin problems I presented were usually rectified. To book an appointment, you must wait months, and when you finally do see him, be prepared because he rushes you out as fast as possible and you feel like you have to speak fast or he'll get annoyed that you're taking so long. I recently had a horrible experience with Dr. Balbul. I called after I was informed my prescription no longer existed (the pharma company discontinued it) and in desperation after my skin reacted terribly to the withdrawal, I called Dr. Balbul for help to suggest another method. I was told he could not just suggest anything and I had to see him, which required waiting MONTHS for an appointment. Finally I saw him and explained how I was disappointed in the way the situation was handled (he could have suggested another prescription) and his reaction was beyond unprofessional and incredibly insulting. He responded that it wasn't his fault the pharma companies merge and discontinue product (which I agree, however this wasn't an accusation rather than me asking him for help), and that if I wasn't happy with his services, I should just go see someone else. He also was quite spiteful and didn't suggest any ways to help me. As per usual, I have elected to take his advice and switch doctors. To be clear, I was very calm and did not present myself aggressively when speaking with him, so this took me quite aback. He was obviously very frustrated with the many recent merging pharmas and the impact it has directly on his business, however that was not my problem nor was it fair to take it out on me. After a long and loyal 16 years on my part, he did not reciprocate nor was he there when I need it and I would therefore not suggest going to see him.
