I can't express how happy I am with the results of my arm lift (Brachioplasty). I now have beautiful slender arms. From the consult, the pre-op appointment, to the surgery to all the post-op appointments, I felt really well taken care of. My initial surgery was postponed due to covid and his entire team was extremely helpful with everything. From the first consultation I was impressed with his knowledge, his explanations of the procedure and detailed summation of what to expect afterwards. The result is that my sagging breast lobes, shoulder, back and neck pain are gone, as has the pendulous weight I had before. My surgery was extremely well managed. After substantial weight loss, I made the decision to have a breast reduction, and remove the excess skin in my abdomen (abdominoplasty). I needed breast reduction and he did a wonderful job lifting and reducing it, but when he did that he left on both side of my breast Something that looks like extra skin. It looks awful and I’m self conscious about it. I told him about that and he assured me he was going to fix it. I emailed and try contacting Serin or Sarah, don’t recall her name and no one got back to me. I felt like they didn’t care and only cared about the money. I tried again emailing last year and no one has replied to me. I am very disappointed because my friend referred me to him and she got the same thing done and it doesn’t look like mine. This whole this is so negligent. I recommend that if there’s something that bothers you after the surgery, make sure he fixes it right away. Don’t let his beautiful charming smile convince you he can do it later. Other wise you will end up waiting for a respond for more than 2 years. Oh and btw, I signed a form so they can release my before and after pictures so I can see it and NEVER got it. Smh...And there’s more too that I can say about my experience

I felt safe and clear about every step along the way, including post surgery. Also, surgical staff at the hospital went out of their way to tell me how fortunate I was to have Dr. Beber as my surgeon. There is a reason why he is known as the best.

Dr. Beber and his staff are professional, kind and understanding. Everyone in the office goes out of their way to help you, and make you feel comfortable. I had a breast reduction in March, and the amount of time provided for me before and after the surgery to follow up and make sure everything is healing well was so comforting. I am so thankful to Yien who constantly checked up on me and made sure everything was healing okay from the very beginning of my post-op care. Dr. Beber has amazing bedside manner. He is kind and understanding and made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. I was scheduled to do the surgery with another surgeon at first, but after my consultation with Dr. Beber I knew I had to switch and schedule with Dr. Beber, and I am glad I did because the results are AMAZING! He listened to what I wanted and provided me with the results. Not only is he a highly skilled surgeon, he is also respectful and listens to what you want. Overall I think the 5-star rating for Dr. Beber and his team is very well deserved, and I 100% recommend him to anyone in need of a surgeon.

Went in for a consult and Dr. Beber was informative, friendly and honest. He advised before/if we proceed that he would need to review the records from my last procedure. To do this, I needed to sign a release form for medical records. Reception was supposed to email this form to me right after my appointment and failed to do so. I followed up asking for the Release, and a week later it was finally sent. I promptly signed and returned the forms that same day. I asked for confirmation that Dr. Beber's office received the signed Release form, and a week later reception confirmed receipt of the signed Release. From there, it was up to the staff to obtain my medical records and then for Dr. Beber to examine them. I even called my old doctor and told her office to expect a fax for release of records for my procedure. I never heard back from Dr. Beber's office. My appointment was December 11 and it is now February 23. I expect Dr. Beber is a good doctor, but the poor support staff and disorganized clinic reflect poorly on him. In my opinion, I need to fully trust the clinic and doctors that will be handling my operation. The absence of any follow-up made me way too nervous to move forward with Dr. Beber (even though we never got to that point). Very disappointing.

I am a transgender patient, and I got gender affirming top surgery with Dr. Beber on September 26, 2019. I am so thrilled with my surgery results, and this surgery has been life changing for me! I actually had initially applied to get OHIP funding to get my surgery at another prominent clinic that is known for top surgeries. I waited over 8 months for my consultation there, only to find that I was looking at 2+ years of additional wait time. I reapplied to OHIP and got coverage to see Dr. Beber in May 2019. I had my consult on July 3. From the moment I met Dr. Beber, I felt more comfortable with him operating on me than I did the other doctor. He was thorough in the consult, and took time to really examine my chest tissue, skin elasticity, discuss options and concerns, etc (this was compared to a very brief and rushed consult with the other surgeon). He suggested the keyhole method for me, and was able to leave me with minimal scarring. My recovery has been quite smooth. I had minimal pain compared to what I was expecting. Four days after my surgery I had my first post-op appointment and reveal / drain removal with Yien. I was expecting a pretty bruised up looking chest, and I was prepared for a lot of loose skin that might’ve taken up to a year to retract fully. However, my chest looked nearly perfect from that first reveal! It is probably a combination of gentle surgical technique and my physiology, but I had no visible bruising, and the skin had no loose or folded areas. Bottom line is that I’m very grateful for what Dr. Beber has done for me. I feel like I have a very unique result, catered to my anatomy and considering my personal needs and desires. Yien is also excellent and has been very responsive to my questions during the healing process!

Right from first appointment Dr. Beber took his time to explain in FULL DETAILS about the procedure from start till end. He answered all our questions.
