Worst doctor I've ever seen. At Westmount Square Medical Center he was 90 min late for my appointment, which I had to wait 5 hours to get. Finally comes in and asks me to get up on the examining table. I explained that I couldn't because the reason I was there was a leg injury, so he reluctantly said he could examine me from the chair, but then wasted 20 min of our appointment time fiddling with the paper on the examining table and changing the paper roll. Literally that long, and not speaking to me at all during this. Finally he finishes and I explain why I am there. He touches my leg a couple of ways and asks if it hurts. I say Yes. He proceeds to him and haw for several minutes muttering that there's not much to do. I explain I've been icing and taking advil and that I woke up with bruising which I'm told can mean a tear. He doesn't acknowledge me at all and doesn't ask to see bruising or anything. He finally mutters "Well you're taking advil and tylenol... Not much more to do..." and starts to get up. I quickly say "Wait! What about physio???" And he replies "Oh, yeah, physio..." and writes me a requisition, then physically gets up and walks out of the room. I hobble after him down the hallway and say "Wait! Aren't you going to diagnose me??" he says "Oh the physiotherapist will probably take care of that." I said "Wait, please! I don't have a family doctor and I need a diagnosis please - is it a muscle tear? A ligament? Is there a scan to see how bad it is and treat accordingly?" While I say this he completely ignores me and walks away to the next patient's room and closes the door. In desperation I turn to the nurse and ask if I can at least get a recommendation for some sort of leg brace to help me walk. She says that's up to the doctor and he's busy with another patient. I explain my situation and frustration, so she agrees to talk to him after his next appointment. She comes back and hands me a prescription that reads: "Elastic band." I'm filing a formal complaint and posting this here in the hopes of sparing someone else from this useless "doctor".
