Dr. Smith was my surgeon for a procedure this January and he couldn't have done a better job - no scar to speak of. I saw sports physician a few weeks after my surgery for a lingering issue and they literally asked me where my scar was...he did that good of a job. Not only will Dr. Smith answer your questions, be available for follow-ups, and on time for his appointments, he knows what he is doing and the results speak for themselves!

I was referred to Dr. Nodwell for a Bilateral Prophylactic Mastectomy in September 2016. He was kind and caring throughout the entire process and genuinely concerned about my ongoing pain. In January he performed my first fat transfer surgery to fine-tune the appearance of my reconstruction and has made me feel very confident in what will be the final results. The clinic is lovely and the nurses and patient care staff are very kind. I am very fortunate to have Dr. Nodwell as my physician.

Drove 2 hours for an appointment today.. after waiting for OVER an hour.. went to question why things were taking so long.. staff was beyond rude interupting to say let me speak. Why must i book an appointment, wait one year.. confirm 2 weeks prior and be told after waiting that it could be another couple hours. I do not recommend this business to anyone.

I was a patient in 2015. I had breast reconstruction surgery completed after partial mastectomy. I received a letter from the Queensway Carlton Hospital dated June 2nd, 2020 letting me know that on May 28th, 2019 of last year the Allergan Biocell Implants used in my reconstructive surgery was recalled because they can cause a serious but rare from of Lymphoma cancer BIA-ALCL..

Had a terrible experience trying to get a consult for a breast reduction. I'm a medical cannabis user (vape primarily) and my referral was rejected because of my 'smoking status'. While the document about surgical procedures on their website says you should stop smoking 4-6 weeks prior to surgery but on contact with them was told I must be 6 months smoke free in order to get on their waitlist to get an appointment for a consult and their waitlist would take about a year to get me an appointment. The expectation was that I'd be smoke free for a year and a half and then however long is between consult and surgery. This is completely unreasonable and my quality of life would SIGNIFICANTLY decline. My cannabis use is the only thing that allows me to function with my health issues. While I'm okay stopping long enough out from surgery to be safe that is a wild expectation to have. Their staff was unhelpful and dismissive when speaking with them. I would at least hope they add this policy information to their website so more people don't waste their time.

If you are lucky enough to be seen and treated by Dr. Smith consider yourself one of the lucky few. He's an incredible doctor with amazing compassion, empathy and superb skills. A rare combination of characteristics in any of todays professions. I strongly recommend him for any treatment requiring plastic surgery.

I had a great experience at the Ottawa Clinic. Staff was friendly and Megan was great. I did the new miradry treatment and Megan was able to answer any questions / concerns I had. The treatment was painless. I had some swelling and bruising after, which is normal. Megan walked me through the post care and was very helpful. I would not go anywhere else.

Dr. Chitte is an amazing doctor to go to for a rhinoplasty surgery! I was super insecure with my nose and now I’m not. Very professional, always available for questions. The location of the clinic is a little hard to find at first but ends up being very easy to access. The clinic itself if very clean, modern and inviting. The staff is really helpful and readily available, the girls at the front desk always have a smile on their face and are willing to help with any question. The assistants were knowledgeable and very friendly and never left me in the dark for one second - if i had a question or concern, I knew I would have no problems reaching out and getting an answer. I am very impressed with the discretion offered throughout the process as well. Dr. Nodwell is a dream. He is extremely professional and calm and really puts you at ease. I truly believe that he is a real artist and has made me very happy with my results. I do not regret using his services and believe that my money was well spent. My only request was to obtain a classic appointment for a simple and straightforward topic. Instead, as a response, I receive an email full of gibberish stating useless information such as that « We are proud to be the first and only facility in the National Capital Region to offer comprehensive and integrated plastic surgery and skin cancer treatment as well as advanced options in medical esthetics. ». Apparently, the consultation is complimentary ; however, nothing is complimentary in life, and keeping in mind that the clinic does 10000 things i’m not interested in, I can already imagine in a very stark and clear fashion that I will be suggested the initial simple consultation i’m asking for, but also, obviously be « informed » (read : pressured) by an employee (read : salesman) about the many products that are susceptible to make my life better, thus exploiting potential insecurities about my physical appearance as a business prospect for expensive treatments, surgeries, products, lotions, etc etc that could all be, fortunately, solved by this fantastic mutidisciplinatory clinic. Given that a simple question such as « can I have an appointment and how much does it cost » cannot obtain a proportionnally simple answer, I will simply go somewhere else.

Got in contact with their reception staff to book an appointment. They seemed nice, but very unknowledgeable during my first couple of phone calls asking for instructions on how to forward the referral, as well as general questions about the procedure. I was told I would get a call within the week to set the date/time of my appointment. Now, almost 3 weeks later, still no appointment, and nobody is picking up their main phone line. Are they closed? Who knows.. Will probably have to get my referral sent to another doctor. This is for a piece of glass stuck under the skin in my finger, not even some cosmetic tweak..

I had excess skin removal with Dr. Chitte at the Ottawa Clinic. It was quite extensive - an 8 hour surgery! Needless to say my wife and I were anxious and worried. But the staff at the Ottawa Clinic were friendly, knowledgeable and reassuring. The professionalism was through the roof! Dr. Chitte was amazing. I am now 6 months post-op and happier than I've ever been. There's no more tugging at ill-fitting clothing and debilitating self-consciousness. I would do it all again - no question. The after care and follow-up has also been extremely thorough and excellent. If you're unhappy with something that can be fixed at the very least you owe yourself a consult at the Ottawa Clinic. If your experience is anything like mine, you won't regret it.

I came in for a Miradry treatment. I was extremely nervous because of the injections, but Kate really put me at ease and was very calming. Crystal performed the injections for numbing and I had minimal disconfort. She understood how nervous I was and made sure that I was comfortable. The actual treatment was pain free. I had one small bruise but it was gone within a few days. I am loving the results and will definitely go back for other treatments. Would recommend the Ottawa clinic without hesitation!

Broke my hand and was told by Queensway hospital Dr Smith would contact me within 2 days and that was supposed to be June 19th. We are now June 25th and after numerous calls with what seems to be very nice but unintelligent staff im still left clueless as to when Ill have an appointment. Was told AGAIN im being triaged and that Ill receive a call within 2 days. If these people cant book appointments how am I supposed to trust them with plastic surgery???

This adventure started with doing a lot research for a (very busy, travelling) friend. Based on his Reviews and Ratings, I suggested Dr. Nodwell for the work she wanted done, set up her Consultation and she is now his patient. In the meantime, I went to a doctor with a solid reputation for abdominoplasties (which I needed). Feeling a little disappointed with my (expensive) results, I turned to Dr. Nodwell. What I really wanted was to get rid of the leftover "saddle bags" which then appeared more prominant. First of all, the location was great for me, with parking and a takeout coffee spot ! The waiting room, nicely appointed, allows for quiet conversation. During the Consultation he reviewed my Medical History, asking questions and taking notes. He then listened patiently to my 'story' and did an examination. After discussing things with me, he presented options; compartmentalizing the work, methods that could be used, pros & cons and corresponding costs. He did not push for a decision, instead, he asked me to go home and really consider everything, calling his office with any questions. I did. I opted to "finish" the abdominoplasty + liposuction to reduce my flabby hips. Prior to the Surgery, there were appointments at the Queensway Carleton Hospital and with Dr. Nodwell - who gave me pre- and post-op natural supplements to reduce scarring ! The day arrived. Dr. Nodwell saw me before and after Surgery, explaining that everything went very well. I was discharged the same day and, because of all the preparatory help, I was ready for recovery. I received follow-up calls from both the Hospital and the Doctor's office a few hours after the Surgery and the next day. His office called again about 5 days later, and I went for my first post surgery appointment 5 days after that. At my last visit, the results were declared better than expected (my pre-existing internal scarring) by all concerned. Currently, I have one more week with the 'wraparound' full-time and start going without it after that. I am THRILLED with results already ! Dr. Nodwell, himself, is highly professional, easygoing, reassuring, extremely understanding and has a sense of humour ! He is very well represented by Melissa who handled all my calls/emails promptly and personably. She always ensured my concerns were addressed and never rushed me ! This Clinic of professionals is lucky to partner with him and his Staff. I have already recommended them enthusiastically. I almost hope I have more work to be done myself !
