My experience with my coordinator Gabrielle beauchmamp went amazing. She has great communication skills and always contacts me promptly if I have any questions or concerns. I will not be getting my surgery until April but she has really set the tone for my service. Great first impression so far. I’m excited about this journey.
I love my body , I went to dr.moradian , his work is great he gave me exactly what I wanted . But the office ? The staff ? The communication is HORRIBLE , unacceptable! I really love my bbl but it’s just the staff , changing prices once I arrived 50$ difference no big deal but would if I didn’t have it ? Didn’t give me my boards which came with my surgery , and I was always seen two hours after my massage time.
Gabrielle Beauchamp was the most helpful and amazing surgical coordinator! She is so sweet and made me feel so comfortable and guided me through everything, the process was so much easier than I thought it would be because of her!
Overall I had a wonderful experience from the moment I arrived to preop.. very friendly staff quick service i wasnot waiting all day like the "bad reviews". I came for preop at 9 am and was out by 10am.. surgery was scheduled for 6:30 at this point there was a little bit of a wait but the key in this process is to be patient. I went into the back about 8 am.. I woke up in the recovery room and the staff was very helpful. Post op was amazing felt like I was in and out within an hour. Overall I would definitely recommend AVANA despite others experiences. My experience personally was amazing im glad I chose to go with this facily.
They will cradle you until they get your money. I placed a deposit and set a date. I emailed and called to reschedule a month prior to surgery. I gave them a new date and I never heard from them again. I have called 4 and have left emails and even messages on Instagram trying to get a surgery date. My last email I asked for my money back IF they would not schedule me. I still haven’t had any contact what so ever. They will cradle you until they get your money. Good luck. I plan on disputing it with my card company because they refuse to set a date for the services I placed a deposit on.
I don’t know how the place has good reviews. I have had several surgeries from different practices and this is by far the worst experience ever!!! I urge you not to come here, the customer service is nonexistent and Dr. Mamenskis has horrible bedside manner. Please check out my reviews on YouTube. ms.browngirl. I have several detailed videos. My arms look exactly the same and i paid $2000 for them alone. These have to be fake reviews, i personally know 4 people that went to this surgery center and they all had horrible experiences

I’m from Colorado and being an out of town patient is alone every scary to say the least. In the beginning with the lab work that needed to be completed from my PC Doc 2 wks before my scheduled surgery day... Was a little complicated at first because Avana kept emailing me that they didn’t receive my labs when I did send them a few times. Once they received the labs everything started going well from there on. I had my pre op appointment on July 28, 2021 and I was so nervous and scared because my surgery was that next following day and I was the first patient. Everyone was polite but SELENA though!!!!!!! She went above and beyond for me and made me so confident and comfortable with my surgery. Selena has such a genuine spirit that cares about each patient and their concerns. She answered my questions and the girls that was also in the waiting room questions promptly, informative and professionally. She’s the real reason why I decided to proceed on with the surgery because I was having mixed emotions about it. My Dr. was Moradian and he preformed a Mommy Makeover with 2 areas of Lipo. His bed side manner was excellent and his work matches that as well. I’m so happy about my new body and I will definitely come back to him in the future or just recommend him to my love ones. Thank you Avana for the lifetime experience!

Avana is a wonderful clinic. Very clean, the staff is very friendly and the doctors are awesome. I was taking care of my wife after surgery and everyone was so knowledgeable and helpful. The customer service manager Selena was an absolute gem! I’m loving my wife’s results and so is she. Definitely recommend Avana for your surgical needs.
I had a surgery scheduled for next month with Dr Greco. Well Apparently he's no longer with avana and no one thought to inform me. I had to email and ask about it and at that point they just tried to push me to another surgeon with a higher bill. What if I had shown up ready for my surgery just to find out he's been gone?! Unprofessional. Please go somewhere else girls. ETA: I did reach out to them about it and they refused to refund my deposit and instead said I would have to call and schedule with another surgeon. I did not schedule with another surgeon as I do not trust this place.
Dr. M did an amazing job on my breast aug he was thorough with answering any questions I had. Listened to exactly what I wanted and gave me realistic expectations. I trusted him fully the day I met with him and consulted with him about my BA and another procedure of which he respectfully reassured me I don’t need. That is when I knew I chose the right doctor who is looking for my best interest. Leilani my surgical coordinator was great at communicating with me back and forth through email and phone. Overall happy with my experience at Avana.
Word of mouth is not good enough. Please always start with BBB (Better Business Bureau) when you looking into such procedure(s). Okay, everything started off pleasant I felt like a patient afterwards it felt like NEXT. Really didn't need much interaction at first. Moving forward whenever I did call the office the staff was nice about passing the information along however it took my coordinator a lengthy amount of time to respond but atleast she did. Morning of surgery doctor was nice we talked about my procedures thoroughly and went back. The doctor only performed a portion of the procedure that not only did he and I discussed the morning of but what PAID for. During my post-op visit doctor was a bit short but I asked the Dr. why only apart a of the procedure was done and not all. I was told it was too much but I could come back in 6 months and not to worry I would receive a refund for the services not rendered. Fast forward to date that was NOT the case. I ended up paying MORE for a procedure that I could've paid less for from the beginning. I was told because the other surgery was not preformed{at the discretion of the doctor} I lost/forfeited the additional money that was paid although it was not my decision. Not even offered a credit towards the round two that I definitely will need being that the procedures was not complete. The return policy states if the "client/patient" cancels any services the discounted portion will be lost NOT if the doctor decides while your on the operating table. The doctor made no mention as to why the procedure was not completed in my medical record. They price was just changed and I was stuck paying it. Also word of advice if no pictures of the procedures that your looking for more than likely they don't perform those procedures although they are offered. Two members of the office staff was supposed to get back with me however that never happen. As far as my results they are just okay but I'll definitely be going back for a round 2. That's why I gave Dr. Moradian 2.5 stars.
So I’m 15 days away from surgery and I must say Avana was a great choice thus far. They have walked me through each step of the way. Booking my date, paying the deposit, and getting the proper blood work completed. When something was missing from my labs they contacted me right away. Keeping me informed is very important at this stage. Will give an updated review after surgery

I’ve been in contact with surgical coordinator Azul. I must say she has been the sweetest and very professional person. I’ve been so busy and delayed a few replies yet she’s still very nice very responsive. I feel so comfortable. I will keep an update but so far I am on the positive side of things here. ????
If I could give Avana negative stars I would. This place is completely UNPROFESSIONAL. Honestly, I feel like it's a SCAM. They scammed me out of $250 deposit. I'm beyond happy I didn't pay more. After they received my deposit, they ghosted me. I''m out of state so I couldn't just drive over, so I would call, email and message them through the portal. They IGNORED every message. I was originally promised a FaceTime consult with my doctor after my deposit and that NEVER happened. I had like three different coordinators all of which I never even spoke to or heard from. When I reached out to let them know my pcp advised against the surgery BEFORE I even was supposed to get that paperwork in order, they NEVER contacted me to address it. I only ever heard back when I was demanding my deposit back due to their lack of communication, professionalism and all around disregard. This is not a nail appointment this is SURGERY and they do not care about the patients they care about money. Karen, the manager for the refund dept. said she wasn't going to waive my fee. I expressed my concerns and how it was not something I did, it fell on her personnel and that I went through ALL of the avenues at my disposal as an out of state patient to speak to someone and was never contacted back. I waited on the phone several different times for a hr at a time waiting to be #1 on the que only to be forwarded to a voicemail EVERY TIME and then never called back. I have all of my receipts. I am appalled to say the least. I would 100000000% advise DO NOT GO TO AVANA PLASTIC SURGEY.
Wait for post op and surgery day was pretty fast. Dr.Dress is very nice and takes value in your opinions, staff was nice and welcoming
Be forewarned: This is a chop-shop. For my pre-opp appointment I waited 4 hours. Surgery day I waited 3 hours and left WITHOUT surgery! Across the room was a woman waiting to see Dr. Dress (the same surgeon i was to see) and she had been waiting in the exam room for 7 hours! There are always 20 or more people milling around waiting for post-op, pre-op, or to have surgery and no one lets you know what is happening. It is a mill of getting people in and out. No cares is or is concerned for proper medical protocol. Some of the staff wears masks and some don't even during a pandemic. Dr. Dress seemed very nice, but why would a good surgeon work at such a poor facility? Also as others mentioned, the facility is not nearly as sanitary as it should be. Trust the reviews and go somewhere else.
From start to finish Dr. Mameniskis was amazing. His surgical coordinator Daniela is extremely organize, efficient and friendly; she even made time to check on me post surgery Dr. Mameniskis understood what I wanted to achieve and has given me better results than I could have ever hoped for. He is incredibly professional, understanding and friendly. Pre surgery and post surgery the service was second to none. I could not have asked for, or expected more from Dr. Mameniskis and his team. I have had experiences with other surgeons and Dr. Mameniskis is by far the most caring and professional, not to mention skilled. I am so very grateful to him for helping me achieve exactly what I needed. I cannot recommend him more highly! Thank you!
Idk why they don't let the waiting people in the front lobby like we paid a lot and yall can't let us sit in the lobby??? Makes no sense and the bad reviews are just girls who don't listen to the rules and get infections or it doesnt health right bc they wanna drink and smoke or do the other drugs don't come to Florida if you don't have control over youre drug use and don't blame the surgeon beacuse they do there part good.
Can’t even get a call back. I had to reschedule my surgery multiple times cause the lack of communication, and no one can confirm I been getting the run around promised call back I never received? Paid balance now I have two accounts? I was so excited to have surgery now I’m having second thoughts. This isn’t supposed to be so hard and unorganized. They take your money then no response.
Beware! I booked my procedure back in March and I had a very pleasant experience with the staff, they were very attentive and the always got back to me right away when I had any questions. Now I’m saying beware because although the day of surgery wasn’t bad, I only say Dr Dress for 5 mins when he marked me up and I didn’t see him at all after that not even in the operating room. Now for the procedure itself it was not a good outcome. I got a tummy tuck done and my incision is completely crooked and way too high. I can’t even wear a swimsuit without it showing. The stitches were put in so badly that it started opening up and now I have a keloid scar. I feel as if I was completely botched. I now have to go get another procedure done to fix my scar and the placement of it and that is extremely disappointing. I literally cringe every time I see myself in the mirror. Dr Dress had great reviews so that kind of makes me feel like he didn’t even do the procedure. And not only that I don’t even think they did the Lipo that they were supposed to do. Just be weary when you get your surgery.
Literally the worse plastic surgery place I've been in contact with they mislead you in order to get your deposit once your deposit is received your sure to be ghosted and told information that wasn't clarified in the beginning. Unprofessional from the sales agent ornella to the management Angelina to the billing department. Requested my deposit back due to the fact that I was an out of state patient and never received confirmation of my date my surgeon or even another patient coordinator to stay in contact with, with the thought Ornella was still my PC I consistently called her and emailed her for two weeks after my deposit was submitted and was literally ghosted I asked to speak with the management who was extremely rude and not understanding of the continued misleading information and telling me I cannot get my refund back when she was the only one to inform me ornella was no longer my PC and I would be assigned a different one since she's just sales . I submitted an online refund request where I was awaken at 7 am to say they will be taking another 250 due to my cancelation. They are truly out here scamming ladies , the reviews are definitely accurate RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE ! It's definitely not work the headache and scheme.

DOOOOO NOT BOOK HERE. I really believed that despite the reviews I thought I could get a positive experience, but since I’ve paid my deposit everything has gone downhill. They do not answer the phone and when they do the coordinator is “busy “. I was three weeks away from surgery when I kept faxing and emailing my medical documents multiple times, the coordinator kept lying about not receiving them . She insisted I reschedule , despite already having prior arrangements to travel for surgery. Now that I’m requesting a refund because I paid half of my surgery procedure they’re giving me a run around . Unnecessarily stressful , I don’t even want the surgery anymore , I want my money .

I am giving one start because the sales person was the only person who returned my calls or message me if I have concerns or questions, it was Xavier. After that, it has been more than two weeks that the pre op coordinator Deisy Paz which the receptionist says she is the only one attending for Dr. Scurlock I have not yet talked to her, when I call she is supposedly with a client every time I call and I did received a call from her one time no voicemail left no emails. I don’t have confidence in the procedure anymore because if this is how they work I can only imagine if I need something post op. Maybe the doctor is really good but his pre op does not care about the patients or at least she choose who she is willing to care and that says a lot in a clinic setting. I am still waiting a phone call from her.

I usually leave good reviews on websites, but i felt like I had to warn anyone who was thinking about getting work done at this facility. I recently had a baby but b4 I did I was going to the gym regularly and losing weight on my own. But then the pandemic hit and I had the baby no gym was opened and I had to stay inside for the safety of the baby and myself. I decided after 1year that I was going to get a tummy tuck just because I was self conscious about my body and the and the way my stomach looked. I contacted Avana, at first the coordinator was nice I sent all my information and made a $250 deposit to lock in the price. Now it seems that after they got my money there was no more communication. I received 1 email with all the things I will need b4 the surgery that was it no date was set. I tried to schedule a date the coordinator said she will get back to me I never heard from her again.Now i live in a different state and after discussing further with my other half we decided that I was no longer going through with with procedure. On their website there's a place where you can request a refund so I did, mind you I never got a date or time for the surgery . Why I got a call asking why I want a refund I explained that I was no longer interested in getting the procedure done. She told me I can't get a refund because I canceled. I am trying to understand I was never given a date for the surgery but you all want to keep my $250. Exactly what was I cancelling I explained just that to her and she told me she was going to speak with her manager but unfortunately they were in a meeting and I had to call back next day. I did and I explained to the person on the phone the reason for my call I placed on hold for almost 1/2hr b4 someone came on and to tell me that they can not refund me cause they didn't get to talk to the manager. I asked well when can I talk to the manager she was not sure if the manager will be in maybe she will be there on Monday I was given all types of run around. I have no idea if the surgeons are any good because I didn't reach that far . But please people beware of AVANA DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. If there is any reason for canceling even before a date is set you will be out of your money.
My procedure went great! Dr. Scurlock has Miami on lock with his talents ! I’m so happy with my results! He is a miracle worker! The customer service could be improved slightly but I had a great experience with them as well overall! The facility was clean and pleasant to the eye. Easy to find the exact room you need to be in .
Honestly loved my experience! I just want to thank the staff at Avana because they really calmed me down and helped me throughout the process. My coordinator Anniel was very nice and was able to answer my questions and when he wasn't able to speak at the time the preop assistants helped out a lot. Preop was a smooth process and I had to do some blood work and the gentleman that took my blood was very friendly and careful. Once it was surgery day I was super nervous but it went well and I was able to speak to the doctor in regards to everything I wanted. I will keep you guys updated in regards to the healing and post op care and how it goes but I'm so glad that it has been mostly positive!
WOW! MS. Cristina Noa and Dr. Moradian were amazing. Thank you both for such an amazing process- before, during and after surgery. Cristina helped me throughout my surgery and oh my goodness, she is the best! Very professional and knowledgeable little lady, dont go anywhere else but here, you won't regret it!
Communication in the beginning was a bit rough , but after arriving to the facility the ppl here was amazing and very informative! I love my doctor Moradian and my results!!! The staff here is very friendly! Definitely looking to refer all of my friends that’s looking to get procedures done!

I had the BEST experience with Avana (Dr. Dress). My coordinator (Klernie) made sure she kept up with everything I needed to know & she was always readily available for any questions I had. The staff were very nice & patient with me. Dr. Dress is every down to earth & he thoroughly explained each procedure. I’d DEFINITELY refer friends & family here. GREAT experience.
Overall, I’m pleased with my results and the facility. Dr. Mameniskis lacks personality. He’s all business in pre-op...laser focused on making you look better. But one of the nurses is who made an impression on me. I was a little faint at my post op appointment and that baby fanned me, held my water bottle to mouth and held my gown closed until I felt better. You could tell he was genuinely concerned...not just for me, but everyone I saw him interact with. Like I said, I’m pleased with my results, but it’s Marcus for me! ????????
BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!! I had a BBL, 360 lipo, and arm lipo done on 12/14 with Dr. Memeniskis. Initially, communication was ok. However, once my surgery was over, the communication was discontinued. The care coordinator Anniel Campo never contacted me after my surgery. I had concerns with my drains, and the operator acted like I was bothering her when I called. My doctor messed up one of my arms, and his team has yet to reach out to me. I am waiting for a refund for an upcoming procedure because of their customer service. Overall I wish I could give this clinic no stars for their services, but I can't. SN, THE STAFF IS SUPER PREJUDICED!
It’s clean & respectful. The customer service manager is great. She really care about you & makes sure that you are happy. The doctors really care also and like to stay in touch with you.
My surgery went well, I am not as contoured as I asked For all the staff was very vague quick and careless. I never spoke with one specific coordinator, and they lost my teeth.. YES! my flippers where lost during my procedure! First, they lied to me on Saturday saying that they were looking for them and speaking to a doctor concerning my teeth, they even went as far as having a random employee pose as a manger!! I soon found out that they do NOT even do surgeries Saturday and Sunday so no doctors were in the office at all!!! & the so called manger was the women who cleaned the floors!!!! “ I can not make this up”!! Then, Avana said they’d replace them, just to turn around & say they won’t because, apparently everyone saw it go in a bag! ”Not mine!”.... after giving me the runaround for three days they said sorry it happened to me & asked why didn’t I take them out ahead of time?.. I AM 27 & had a horrible accident that took my teeth less then 2mo ago! So, excuse me if I’m not used to popping my teeth out!!.. After I was strapped to the table and my anesthesiologist took my teeth out personally, I should’ve got them back!!. After speaking with the actual manager she listened and seemed concerned,, & then went on her lunch break. They pretty much told me o well..I was so upset & sad I passed out!! I can’t believe I left surgery feeling this ugly & depressed, I even stayed in Miami for another week to see if anything came up & they just don’t care!!! They lie!! & STAY AWAY FROM THE NEGATIVE STRESS!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!.. I feel so ugly! Thanks Avana for bringing my confidence back down :(

Watch out for this surgery mill. This place was a mad house that was VERY choatic and disorganized. Pre-op was on a first come, first serve basis. Thankfully I got there early because there were patients everywhere. No Covid-19 protocols were enforced or followed. Dr. Scott Moradian was my physician and I have uneven results. Do yourself a favor and go to a private practice.
Please don’t believe any negative reviews! Please come get your own experience. When I first arrived I met Selena who was very polite, friendly, and down to earth. At first I was nervous but when I met Dr.Dress came in and introduced himself I felt a lot better. The anesthesiologists was my hype man. I recommend Avana!

Special recognition and thanks to Gigi and Dr. Mordadian for my wonderful experience at Avana. For starters, Gigi is extremely knowledgeable, kind and patient. She provided me with all of the insight I needed prior to booking my procedure and furthermore, was with me every step of the way. Meeting Gigi in person was delightful to say the very least, she is absolutely genuine, and she made me feel like I had one of my sisters with me the whole time. Being from out of town requires that the clinic you choose has everything in order prior to your arrival, and Avana certainly did this for me. My pre-op appointment (first in-person contact with Dr. Moradian) was exactly how I had hoped. Dr. Moradian is extremely raw/honest, and will quickly put things into perspective for you in a way you'd understand. His MO IS 100% Safety first, results second (but trust his craft is always bomb!)...he will make this truth known to you upon meeting him. Secondly, Moradian is very talented in identifying what your body needs to achieve the best/most natural results. He framed my body exactly how I had envisioned, and I could not be happier. Finally, I'd like to give thanks to Sunami (Medical Assistant) who was very sweet and informative during my post-op appointment, and Anna my Masseuse, whom did my massages thoroughly and with great care. Overall, Avana gave me the upmost experience and results...I've already begun to share with all of my friends and family. Rest assured you too can book your new look with confidence! Doctor dress was great, I had a painless experience, staff was wonderful. I enjoyed my time here in Miami.
I am Registered nurse and I have had surgery before. Never in my life have I received this kind of treatment. I was told to come in at 745am. I arrived at 7:30 and wasn't taken in until 1:20pm. When I woke up, I was being wheeled to my car with no faja on. Thank goodness I was somewhat alert and asked the person where is the faja, she said you didn't pay for that". I said yes I did, I had arm lipo and the flanks and chin lipo. At my pre op, the NP and the young lady at the desk both assured me the faja was covered, but I had to bring my own chin compression and arm compression garment. I had already bought the chin and arm compression previous to surgery. Now this assistant is telling me no its not covered. She pushed me in the car and went back upstairs. Thank goodness my daughter called the office and an angel Sunami (the medical assistant) came downstairs. She took me back upstairs where I was told I had to buy one for $120 dollars. I had no choice but to buy one on the spot because I needed it to help with the swelling immediately. As a licensed professional in the medical field, I find this type of callous attitude unacceptable. Its clear that Avana puts dollars before patients safety and comfort. If Sunami hadn't come and helped me, I would have been left out in the cold with Swelling and bruising. Aside from that, Dr dress is a very good doctor who makes you feel welcomed. I met him in the waiting room, but I didn't see him in the operating room. I was out very quick and remember nothing after that. Oh and one more thing, while I was being wheeled outside, they didn't even have the decency to put on my other clothes, no underwear at all. I will never go back there. I have already booked my breast elsewhere. Avana needs to focus more on the patients and get more staff with some compassion. Overall the facility needs a major face-lift. Thank God I made it out alive, but be aware.

I had surgery March 23, 2021. By far the lack of communication is mind blowing. First of all, after surgery. This place is so busy and overcrowded. It looks like a chop shop and people are walking around from a bloody scene from Jason. They haul u in after surgery where you sit there and wait in pain for them to call you back. I was sent home the very first day without pain meds. Every pharmacy was out of pain medication. I was scheduled to be there the day of surgery at 10:30 am. I was called back to the waiting area around 12. I finally came out of surgery finished up around 9:00 pm. I have called several of times after my surgery asking for a return phone call from Dr. dress to go over what my procedure and I still haven’t got a phone call from him. I don’t recommend this place to nobody,
This is the wrost place i will never recommend this place to anyone. The day of my pre ops i waited 5 hours to see the doctor for 10 minutes. my appointment for surgery was at 9:45 in the morning i did not go into surgery until 5:00 i waited for 4 hours with a IV in my arm until i started bleeding because there was no fluid lelfed in the bag. You sit in a little room for hours before surgery i asked for a blanket because i was cold and did not get one. The guy was so rude the staff there are unprofessional they never have answers for anything. I paid for a massage that i never received i called for a week straight twice a day and there people who work there sad the lady Natalia who handles the refund will call me back and she never calls back avana needs better employees who know what they are doing their are unorganized. After asking for the Manager Alison had called me back herself and got me the refund right away she was nice! I had lipo360 with DR dress he is awesome
Be very careful with these ppl. They are very courteous and have all the answers until you pay your deposit. Once you pay the deposit the communication becomes strained and difficult, your questions go unanswered. It's very unprofessional!!!
let me first start off by saying that Dr. Moradian is absolutely fantastic. such a sweet doctor and makes you feel very safe and welcomed. & he did a PHENOMENAL job on my BBL! definitely earned the name dr. snack! second off, while in my post op both jacqeevia and roxy were so patient and very helpful with answering all of my questions!! very accommodating! I definitely would recommend this place to anyone!

Where do I begin, my experience with Avana has been amazing. I decided to start my journey over 2 years ago when I received an email from Avana about 6 months ago and started following them. Once I started following I came across Dr Earle, I looked up all his credentials, reviews and work and decided to move forward. I had a few hiccups along the way but finally had my bbl on May 28. My experience has been non the less challenging as far as recuperation but the staff at Avana have made it easier to handle. Each and every time I have called, gone in I have gotten amazing treatment. The lady in the front, Liang, Monica and the other nurses have been amazing in my journey. I want to thank you for taking the time to make me feel welcome and for confirming that I did make the right choice my selecting Avana. Thank you Dr Earle for sculpting my body to almost perfect! I love my results and I am only 2 weeks post op. Thanks again Avana for making my experience amazing!

To my beautiful lady’s thinking about going here please do your research don’t get fooled by cheap prices. They don’t care about you, their facility is very unprofessional.. they will have you wait for hours. After surgery they don’t care if your in pain. They don’t take care of you as they should. They strap you down for surgery, and they don’t have a certified anesthesiologist they just inject something in the IV before your into surgery which is odd because anyone could done the surgery never once did I see my doctor except the day before and for markings

I have not received services yet. I called to get a consultation and they told me I had to pay $250 before I could do anything and they made me pay over the phone while they waited (not even knowing if I was sure about the surgery or not) so now that I’ve found another doctor they are not willing to refund me. I feel they are scamming people
I had my surgery with them a week ago I was not well attended by the receptionists. They didn't give me Total attention. I came back from my city trip. The doctor did not give me a document authorizing my trip. I had several problems at the airport. I am very swollen, they didn’t give me all the horrible support this clinic they just look at the money the sewing on my belly was horrible and I wasn’t even informed when the stitches didn’t fall if I need someone to remove a bad clinic and professionals my surgery was on day 06/30/20 I would have the right to massage, it was not done, the place was overcrowded, their work really leaves total disorganization.
The physical customer service is absolutely amazing!! I did have some issues prior to coming for surgery however once I got here, everyone was so nice and welcoming. Even after my surgery with Dr. Dress they still made me feel cared for like a VIP vs. an assembly line of women getting their body done. Dr. Dress was so sweet and down to earth! I enjoyed my experience. (Except the pain :) )

Dr Moradian is super nice. Yes Avana don’t pick up before your surgery but for sure with you every step of the way from pre-op and on your surgery day. Staff is amazing did not have a problem. I was so nervous but that anesthesia knock you out next thing you know it’s time for me to leave with your faja on.

12/28 360 BBL with DR. Christopher Dress, he did an amazing job, his bed side manners are great he listened to what I wanted and did a great job I’m so happy I did my surgery with him. Also the anesthesiologist is great I love them! On 06/24 thanks to Selena S, The customer service manager and Joselyne, I did a mini tuck last minute with Dr. Dress and I look amazing. I had a great experience just like I did the first time! I’m so happy with everything! I’ll like to thank Avana plastic surgery for a great experience I’ll be back for a lift soon! Xo

I have surgery coming up and so far the process has been smooth and Joceline Iraheta filled out my medical paperwork quickly so I can get paid while Im on my LOA from work. All the staff I have spoken with so far have been nice and helpful. Updates on my surgery( April 14th, 2021) coming soon.
Sunamy helped me today with my post op and gave me great advice and instructions. She was very patient and even helped me with crackers and water when I became nauseas! Ladies request her when you come for your post op she is amazing and has an amazing spirit ????
This review is not about Avana the facility (I’ll do another one for that cause boyyyyyyy) but this review is for my surgical coordinator Amybelle Alvarez, my doctor Dr. Moradian and the anesthesiologists who’s name I don’t know. These people were the sweetest and caring people I encountered through my entire experience. Amy however, takes the cake! She literally took her time to make sure everything that concerned me was handled and handled WELL to the best of her abilities. When I spoke she actually LISTENED to my concerns and did whatever she could to make me feel accommodated and like I actually mattered and not just my money. If you don’t have her I feel sorry for you because Avana’s customers service skills doesn’t even exist! But to amy, I thank you and appreciate you.
My experience had been nothing short of amazing! Dr dress did amazing job he gave me my dream body! The nurses have been amazing especially the ones in the postop department my massage therapist Nancy is so amazing she talked me through my massages ! Gabrielle Beauchamp was my surgical coordinator and she walked me through step by step as to common questions such as cost, hotel stay, overview of procedure expectations per her scope of knowledge , etc. She was sooooo kind and I just felt I was in good hands with everything else after just talking with her. All I will say is do your research. Avana is not it. I've had cosmetic surgery before and i have never experienced such disappointment. If anything goes wrong after surgery they do not hold themselves accountable and will turn there back on you. Now after I was told by my surgeon Dr Mameniskis said that he would do a revision he went back on his word and now I have to find a new surgeon to fix what he has done. Unprofessional and Unacceptable. A professional and reliable surgeon stands by his word. So disappointed with Dr Mameniskis at Avana plastic surgery center. Before my surgery I was told it was a hit or miss with him and i didn't listen. Now I wish I would have never went to him. They were right. So many other ladies have inboxed me with same complaints it's unacceptable they get away with this. Ladies that BBB will tell you all you need to know about Avana. And on any of the IG pages you won't see not one bad review. That's because they will delete and block you if you do.

Do not get surgery here. The post-op team and coordinators are horrible. Absolutely no customer care. Come here if you want to wait for hours and not have your post operative questions answered. Dr Moradian would do better at his own practice.

I never leave reviews but this was something I wanted for a long time and it was everything I had imagined! The staff was very good with keeping me up to date and we’re comforting leading up to my procedure. I had constant communication with my surgical coordinator Ariana and pre op coordinator aniel even though I’m sure I bugged them with so many questions! I’m very satisfied with doctor dress work he did me good. I would give Avana 10 stars and will be coming back to do my breasts next year.

If your not sure about proceeding with surgery I wouldn’t pay a deposit because you won’t get your money back for over a month, you will loose $500 of your deposit unless you save it for a later surgery. Make sure you read the refund policy very carefully before signing. Everyone is really nice until you pay your money then the short conversations begin and the “oh well you have to wait type of attitude!” I’ve never dealt with any business that takes this long for a refund on a procedure never completed. Then they give you attitude when you call concerning “YOUR” money
@Dr Dress My experience was great , he was very sweet kind friendly generous honest man . He directly hug me during Covid time to make me feel safe . Which I really appreciated it very much . I am very pleased with my Lipo 360 & Breast lift with implants . From his very light and neat stitching to his small incisions due lipo360 everything was great . Thank you so much Dr Dress . So let me start by saying WOOOOOWWWWW!!!! OK so I initially read the reviews and there were sooooo many complaints. They were almost ALWAYS about the customer service being so poor. My experience was OUTSTANDING!!! I got a breat reduction and lift and they're PERFECT!!! And I'm heavyset. Dr. Mameniskis is great! He's an artist! And their prices are really good! My post op with Ana was super informative and she took great care of me. The manager Allison was a sweetie pie. This is the right place for you!
Everyone here has been so great dr moradian was so down to earth and really addressed all my needs, the lady who did my massage ligia was wonderful as well, she talk to me throughout the whole massage and explained what she was doing step by step which was amazing, Selena helped me a lot with my garments fitting and extra tips and tricks to help the healing process, I would definitely recommend them for surgery!!!!!!
PLEASE READ! Things I learned too late. •They are NOT accredited by the Better Business Bureau (which means you can’t file a complaint). •They do NOT have insurance so they require you to sign a waiver that you can NOT sue the company, only the doctors. • If you use a creditor to pay for your surgery they charge you full price, they won’t tell you that! • Once you get your procedure done, they pretty much push you out of the way if you need follow ups. •Avana opened around 2019, so it’s still new and it makes sense why the staff is the way it is. •They only have ONE phone number for ALL departments, meaning they’ll ask you to take a message and you have to wait for that deparment to call you whenever they feel like it. • The actual doctors are awesome but the issue is you can’t get past the front desk or nurses to speak to them. • For Post-Op it’s pretty unorganized, it was a lot of nurses, empty rooms, yet the waiting from was packed. So I’m not sure what’s going on with that. Sadly I wouldn’t recommend this place unless your absolutely desperate and need a quick surgery.
A few hiccups in communication toward the day of surgery but overall great experience. Ladies were very quick and friendly, no longer waits at all. Dr Scurlock was amazing! Communication was very timely. And my results are amazing. He delivered exactly what I wanted. I do recommend.

I had a great experience with Dr. Moradian, he's a great surgeon and delivers fantastic results. There were communication issues with the pre-op department that make some things not to go as planned. The post-op department was okay, but one person, in particular, went out of her way to make sure that my experience was the best and that was Milagros Hernandez from the massage department. She is such a compassionate and kind person. I commend her on her willingness to help patients when other departments were not as helpful. Many thanks to you Milagros, I will be forever grateful.
When I first started out with this company it was not bad but then as it get closer to the surgery date it got worse especially on the surgery day I was told to come in at 3:00 p.m. was called to come in at 12:00 and did not get called to the back until about 6:00 when I asked to speak to a supervisor Dr Dess was very nice I told him what I wanted but unfortunately he did not give me what I wanted I've been calling to find out how many CC did they pull and how many cc did they put in each but cheek every time I call they say oh someone will call you back still waiting for a response they get your money they do what they want and then they do not even contact you and when you get home no other plastic surgeon want to even look at you so sad they need to do better but people still go to them so they're going to continue to do what they want and never want it around 2 and know it look like I have to this recovery is not easy shame on them AVANA.
Shoutout to Nelsy, Milagros, and Aleka, a million stars for the best massage therapists! Anesthesiologist was so sweet! He helped guide me through the process with explanation since it was my first time being under anesthesia... I knocked out and woke up to the nicest lady who helped me reposition, get dressed and wheeled to my ride. Dr.dress is an absolute expert at what he does and he has amazing energy, it was great working with him although I was originally supposed to be with Moradian whom had an emergency... but Dr.Dress will deliver exact details requested. I felt safe at this clinic despite time constraints or misconstrued information, the staff are all patient and down to earth.
THE ABSOLUTE WORST AND SCARIEST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN!. Horrible customer service, the surgeon I had does NOT carry malpractice insurance, and the females that work there to assist you in your life changing journey are nasty and mean. One was talking on her phone while she was in the exam room with the surgeon and I as he was marking my body for surgery. The jacked me for 1000.00$ as they charged me for lipo areas that the Dr. later said he could not perform. They acknowledged the overcharge, said they'd reimburse, but never did. PLEASE DONT GO HERE! PATIENTS HAVE DIED FROM THE SERVICES HERE!! DO YOUR RESEARCH AND TRY SOMEWHERE ELSE. THEY BEED TO BE SHUT DOWN.

I want everyone to know the service I received was awesome. They were so understanding, I had an issue with my bank and the staff worked so hard to get my issue resolved. Dr. Dress has great bed side manners. I have to say my experience was beyond good.
The coordinator is very unprofessional, Desiy doesn't return calls or answer questions. That was my main concern. The office itself is very understaffed and under managed, being a health care professional and manager at that it def needs help. I am happy with Dr. Mameniskis and my outcome of my surgery just not the office. I feel bad for the surgeons because by the time the patients get to see them I'm sure they're just so upset it makes things hard. Angie in post op and the male MA right after surgery were amazing and really helped me. This experience shouldn't be any more stressful than it already is with making changes to your appearance. The staff should be able to help ease some of that but they need to hire more coordinators.
Take your business elsewhere. I’m glad I did my research please read some off the reviews before proceeding. They can’t even get back to me to schedule an appointment I sent my information in November 18 and they were supposed to call and never did so I called December 2. Then said she would call me the next day and again failed to do so. Huge red flag ???? shows how unorganized they are so I believe the reviews about how they don’t care about the patients. I don’t know where to even begin !!! I am so pleased with the amount of love and help from my coordinator Rachel…. When I say quick responses, honest answers, and super professional. I felt like I knew her personally! I never spoke to anyone after paying my deposit she understood my frustration with my hemoglobin level and pushed me daily to keep going! She’s sooooo amazing and made my experience so much more worth while at Avana! Even after surgery on 12/10 she had text me everyday to check on me . I love her ! So gentle and Sweet. Dr Dress is Super Nice and listens to you and answers any questions you may have. Overall I would recommend Avana to EVERYONE!!!

Warning!!Please reconsider another Plastic Surgery Place. I went in for a mommy makeover 9/30/2021 with Dr Miminskis. I paid for Augmentation, Breast Lift, Silicone and Extended Tummy Tuck… Tell me why I get home with a Reduction instead?? with no explanation. The doctor has avoided me. I have called numerous times and talked with Different girls there. My Incisions opened as you can see not including that my breasts are one cup smaller then what I went in with. I am missing half of one of my ariollas. I can’t stand straight anymore. I’m literally, physically ruined. At the time I had booked my Mommy Makeover I booked a bbl they made put 2 deposits down they refused to give me my deposit back. When talking with staff About the whole ordeal they wouldn’t fix it. They wanted me to pay for a whole new surgery!!

I wish I could give this place 5 stars for the surgeons only because that’s the only good thing bout this place. I already knew what to expect because a friend of mine did a BBL here. Pre op appt went fine just signed paperwork and did vitals you don’t meet the dr until surgery. Surgery time was 06:00am I received confirmation via email. I get there and the place is closed I call the number they provided and it sounds as if the person I was speaking to had just woke up and answered the phone. She said someone would come and open the door, it didn’t happen for 20 mins until we saw the staff arriving even the surgeons! So I’m like how the hell is my surgery at 6am when he just got here! Get in and wait an hour to be called back. I get in the room and was given a drug test. $100 for a dip stick test it doesn’t even go to a lab! What made it worse she didn’t wear any gloves and the bathroom I was sent in to pee was DISGUSTING! Someone pooped in the toilet and didn’t flush it I was so grossed out. I come out she tells me to undress and put the gown on. The room was dirty the chair had markings all over the chairs toms of hair on the floor. Sat there for 2 hours. The dr comes in he marks me up he does a consultation and explained the procedure thoroughly. I didn’t feel rushed at all. Dr moridian is extremely knowledgeable and handsome lol smells like heaven, anyway I wait about an hour longer so about 11:30 I meet with the anesthesiologist signed the necessary paperwork. Bout half hour later he took me to the operating room. He jammed an IV in my arm(no gloves) he didn’t flush the IV or anything he administered the meds and burned like hell! But that was all she wrote lol I wake up FREEZING in a recovery room on my back writhing in pain and no one was there. I couldn’t see bc I didn’t have my glasses on so I began to moan loudly to see if anyone would come, they didn’t. After about ten min a person appeared and said I’m going to get you in a wheelchair. No vitals were taken or pain meds pushed like the paperwork said it would be. I get in the wheelchair in immense pain get loaded in my car and my friend went to the pharmacy. They had no Percocet in stock but I couldn’t take it anyway due to an allergy. Luckily I brought my own pain meds because I was warned. I was in terrible pain until I medicated myself. Slept the day away the next day was post op. Waited 2 hours in pain to see the doctor but once I saw him he addressed my needs right away and told me if I had any questions to call him. The massage part was ridiculous. They don’t go in any order or by appointment it’s by sign in sheet which allows other people to get seen before you! I had a 2p appt didn’t get seen until 4 by then my meds wore off but my massage therapist Nancy was AMAZING! All in all my experience was great it’s just a few things that could be tweaked like more staff and cleaning but overall my body looks amazing I’m so satisfied and Dr moridian lives up to his reputation. He should start his own practice because he’d make billions! Also all the negative statements about the coordination I must be lucky because Anniel was on it! Every email was responded too and I received every call back. The place is just overwhelmed they need more staff and a bigger place
This was my 1st time getting a BBL and LIPO Amy post opp nurse was wonderful she was very attentive her name is Sunamy . My DR Memanesky who did my surgery was wonderful. He made sure to listen to exactly what I wanted. And Marcus was wonderful front desk in pre opp
I had a great experience with Avana! Anyelin was great with communication and always called back the same day. Dr. Moradian is very charming and I trusted him to make me look great. I'm only a week post op but so far so good! I've also received 2 phone calls in the last week checking on me. I know one call was from Kat (and I love her energy) so I'm very grateful!

Avana was terrible from start to finish and I regret my decision of going with them more then anything else in life. I almost ended up dead and my caregiver was told to just feed me ice cream and that I would be ok everything was normal when we called my first night post op explaining my symptoms. My blood pressure was 92/54 heart rate 144 resting... I was far from ok emts came and I was hospitalized. Massage package Purchased was never used as I had been told my appointment was at 9 and they said I was down for 8:30. I drove an hour to get there in pain and was turned away because of a mistake on their end. When attempting to reschedule they had no availability and there was no one in the office to speak with me all weekend they told me I’d have to wait for a call back on Monday morning. I want a refund for the $300 in massage i never received. They shove you out the door with little to no information false information and dismiss you when you have concerns or feel your health is in danger. I have a long hard recovery ahead plastic surgery is not worth it...I am in perfect health and still almost died but if you insist on making this decision go anywhere but avana!
I gave two stars for the managers Terri and Selena and Dr. Mamenskis, because they’re the only professional ones at this clinic. Everyone else is unprofessional, rude and are liars. The clinic had my test results two months prior to my procedure, including my hemoglobin levels. The day of my pre-op appointment the nurse practitioner LIED to me and told me everything was fine and cleared me for the surgery. The next day hours before my procedure, the clinic tried to charge me $550 fee for a cell saver because my hemoglobin levels were too low. They also threatened to cancel my surgery if I didn’t pay the fee. Avana Plastic surgery knew for months that my hemoglobin levels were too low for the procedure, lied to me telling me everything was fine and tried to charge a fee the day of my surgery for a cell saver. Very unprofessional.Jose the anesthesiologist, antagonized my family by throwing a temper tantrum and refusing to do the surgery because we refused to pay a last minute fee. Avana Plastic surgery is very unprofessional and should be shut down at this point. Don’t give your money to this chop shop! If your surgical coordinator is Anniel Campa, request a new one immediately. He’s a liar also.
So how do i start, what an dream that turned into a nightmare. Denise my initial person was absolutely amazing and she kept the contact with me to answer and entertain all my general concerns. I'm not quite sure of her background whether medical or not. But she was awesome and my 2 stars are for her. I wish i could give her 5 stars. Now here comes the nightmare, completed my preop as requested and sent in to review. Two weeks from surgery date, my ekg was adnormal instead of asking for a cardio clearance at that time Dr. Moradian as for a repeat ekg knowing good and well he needed a cardiologist clearance to perform this procedure. I'm well educated and absolutely aware of the medical process for surgery. Then on the friday 3/26@3pm he has his preop coordinator call me asking for a cardiologist clearance due to sinus brady (low heart rate under 60) when you"re healthy and run/exercise 3 to 4 times a week the heart doesn't have to work hard...really ..are you serious!! This was a total scammed forward because he knew it would not happen in time for surgery on 3/30. Long story short, I'm done with Avana. I did have great confidence in them but no more. My trust is broken. I'm requesting a total refund and will move on to a practice that will remain transparent throughout the entire process. I would suggest to anyone that may have any illness to send a preliminary History&Physical, lab and ekg if over 40 in before paying your money and changing your life to just have the door slammed in your face. This was a total nightmare.
I am thankful that Avana was able to schedule me for my BBL after Prestige has canceled on me (that’s another review) but the scheduled me for 3:25 surgery then called me at 10am and said to be on my way. I had to order optional transportation as I already had my ride set for 1:25 to get me there 2 hrs early. I scrambled and made that happen. Calling the clinic is a joke unless you are scheduling to pay money you are treated like trash. Kept being hung up on even after I arrived there I proved to massage office that staff is hanging up on patients. Totally ignored; was calling to inform them that I was running late. Called coordinator who took money she said no problem come on I got there to be told no we only take you late if you call in!!!! I’m in pain and thier bedside service is piss poor

My first surgery experience!! Gabrielle BEAUCHAMP was super informative, patient, and answered all my questions! I did have other options but I felt more comfortable with her. I’m super excited to move forward with Avana Plastic Surgery and Dr. Scott Moradian for my 360 Lipo and BBL journey ????????????
I am gladly surprised with the attention and care of the professionals at Avana, specially Marlen Brito who has gone beyond my expectations to provide me with the best service, she took care of all my paperwork, explaining in details my procedure and answering all my questions, my surgery was scheduled in a timely manner, no delays, no hidden fees, she is very professional and caring, so far so good , and I cant wait to get my lipo 360 with Dr. Dress.????
Please come prepared to wait all day. If you're scheduled for 9am your surgery won't be until 5 pm. Bring a charger, tablet, some entertainment and a blanket. You'll be sitting for HOURS on a hard chair. Also, you'll be starving. So keep the 5 to 6 hour delay in mind when calculating the 8 hours without food or water before surgery. If you're not a patient person this isn't the center for you. Lots of misinformation.
I went there today, I was told they only take walk-ins on Friday 9-12 for consultations no appointments, so I took the time off and went in for a consult, 4 hours later they are still telling me “another 15 mins” it’s 11:57 consults stop at 12 , why would I keep waiting. I was the only person there for a consult and I’m really disappointed. I’ll take my money elsewhere, clearly they are too busy.
Avana plastic surgery has VIP service in regards to my wife. The staff was amazing, the clinic is clean, the customer service manager was polite informative and very helpful. My wife loves her results and I'm happy that she is happy.
As with any surgery center, be patient as you may have to wait a little as you navigate through your process but that's too be expected as this is not your locsl doctor's office.. My experience was 5 star all the way. I am pleased with my tummy tuck results from Dr. Nameniskis. The Nurse Practitioner Ary is the best nurse ever. She is very knowledgeable, personable and professional. I have never met a nurse who shows so much dedication and compassion ❤????????. Selena, the customer service manager is an awesome lady. She gets my at the front fest with the most beautiful smile and really engaged me to see how my experience was. All the sweet young ladies at post-op are all so sweet. I giggly recommend Avana and I am already scheduled at Avana next year for my lipo 360 and BBL.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL! I want to start off by saying once I put my deposit the communication was horrible! Daisy Paz was my coordinator she never replied to my emails never responded to my call backs. On the portal it said my post op was 04/08 between 8 am to 12 pm I arrive at 11! not realizing that daisy sent an email the night before at 11pm saying post op was at 1 so I left to come back at 1. She didn’t have the common sense to call like every other surgery coordinator does. The office was very unorganized the staff that attends to you is very nice but they are all over! Once I did my post op they said I would be receiving a call between 5:30 to 6:30 informing me of the time of surgery. ONCE AGAIN Daisy did not call I called the office call center answered and told me if I don’t receive a call by 9 to call back and the time should be updated in the system! At 8:26 I received an email stating the time of surgery was at 2:45. I arrive date of surgery at 2:30 the office is nothing what it looks like online they sat me in a room doctor came in which was the first time I met the doctor , asked me what my goal was marked me and left. After waiting in the room for an hour the anesthesiologist came in put in an iv and left me waiting another hour. Once they took me back the put me to sleep and began surgery. Once surgery was done it was about 7 pm they didn’t offer water ask how I was feeling just asked me to get up so they can help me dress because they were closing and needed to get me out. They lost my belongings in the middle of rushing me out didn’t give discharge instructions nor did they call to ask how I was feeling. I had to call and ask when I can shower what I could and could not do. I felt like it was a chop shop. I will never return no matter how good the doctors are the experience was horrible!

Avoid this place at all costs. Horrible experience with Avana. I would never recommend them to anyone that I know. This financial department of theirs organization is a fraud. I booked my procedure on Thursday February 4, 2021at 2:14 pm, with a $2000.00 toward my $47000, then that same afternoon, I was sent to get my EKG, COVID-19 Test, and chest X-ray. That same DAY! I called my coordinator Krystal and told her that a pregnancy test was performed prior to my X-ray and came back positive. She ( Krystal) my coordinator suggested that I do a blood test to confirm it. So, I. Her that I think it’s best to cancel the procedure for now, she said let’s wait for the blood ???? test result. I asked her, will I get a full refund since it’s ONLY been 2 hours since I booked and paid $2000.00? She replied “ because pregnancy being considered no fault of your own for cancellation, you will be getting a FULL REFUND”. The next day, February 5th, I called at 9:53 AM and told that I just did another pregnancy test myself it’s still positive so I’m pretty sure the blood result will too. She said “ok just when to choose to have that procedure, but as I told you, you will get a FULL REFUND “. Today, February 10, I called the to office to ask why I received an email from some guy name Perez saying that I will not be receiving any refund because I cancel. I spoke to the manager who said that they can only refund $1500 out of my $2000 because I choose to cancel the procedure even after wasting my energy to explain to her that the procedure was cancel within 2 hours of booking it do to my pregnancy test being positive prior to my X-ray exam which by way is an automatic disqualification for the procedure. Rest assured, I will not stop here with them I'm going to get my full refund from them. You guys save yourselves some stress AVOID this place at all COST. Hope this help you make a better decision when choosing a surgery center. Guerdine A.
The process for me was pretty smooth considering the work load that they have. I paid my deposit got my date, two weeks later got my lab orders then got clearance about a 8 days later to come in for surgery. When I went to preop the wait wasn't bad two hours long but again considering how many dolls coming in and out not bad. I did my paper work met with Dr. MAMENISKIS who listened to what I wanted and gave me his professional opinion. I was later called and emailed with my time and instructions for surgery. Day of surgery was a breeze and Dr. MAMENISKIS gave me exactly what I asked for if not better than I had imagined. I am pleased and can't complain much about my experience. Dr. Mameniskis did my BBL 360 and he did beyond great it was fantastic, I'm in love with my results. I would recommend him to anyone looking to achieve the best snatched body result. Welp I’ll start with I contacted them and received a call back within a decent amount of time. Sent my paperwork in and received my price and approval. Preop was about an hour. Sx was a process but that what’s expected with any type of sx. Overall the team communicated to my expectations and once you meet them everyone from the front Offc, back Offc and surgical team was sweethearts and attentive. I love my results and I’m glad of the choice I made. Traveling from out of town I’m glad Avana did not disappoint????

I had a great experience with Dr. Moradian who performed my bbl and lipo 360 in July 2021. My results are exactly what I wanted and the entire staff was friendly and helpful. The massage therapist I had was amazing and really helped me relax. The medical anesthetist really helped me feel at ease as well. If I was considering another procedure I'd definitely go back here.
Truly wanted to get a surgery done with them, was ready to pay the deposit and everything. Yet my surgical coordinator “Alayn” decided for me that I would not be proceeding with surgery. & ended it with “have a nice day” lol terrible way to run a business with her around. I guess I will take my business elsewhere which is sad cause I really wanted to do my procedure here.
This was all so scary at first but I made it to the flat side!!! Communication could be a little better but once I arrived the customer service staff Terri assisted me with all my needs and she made me feel so comfortable. BBL by Dr Moradian 10/10
I don’t really know how the doctors are, after l paid my deposit was a nightmare to talk with the clinic staff. After calling hundreds of times l never was able to speak with Moradian’s assistant. I never hadn’t a chance to a face to face consult. Because of ur Facebook or Instagram pages is that l know the jobs, l am definitely not paying a penny to you . I highly recommend you new staff attending people over the phone. You don’t have the minor idea how many clients are you losing. U aren’t the only ones and definitely you are not the best clinic either.
So far Ive had the best experience when it comes to customer service. My surgical coordinator Gabrielle B has been amazing with answering question after question and walking me though the process.She has made me feel comfortable and like family. 10/10 would recommend :) cant wait for my surgery
Pretty hectic business, so when staff members take their time to to be attentive to one person it shows the compassion they have for their job. Because of people like Selena, Nancy, and Orlando Avana will be around many more years!
This place is messy and unorganized. They don’t return their calls when they say they do, this happened to me over 10 times. It came to a point where I had to call, wait several mins, and remind them to call me. Sometimes they’ll keep you on hold and they’ll hangup on you. No one is available to speak to neither are your pre op coordinators. They seem to have a problem with keeping their words. When you get a portal with Avana, everything on the portal is not accurate and it’ll be your job to tell them that more than 5 times. Good luck. Find a better surgery place, not worth the wait.
My appointment is in June but so far ive had the best experience with my surgical coordinator Gabrielle BEAUCHAMP !! Shes very responsive and helpful! With her wonderful customer service skills, shes making this experience very easy and exciting! I plan on making an update in June!!!
The services that I receive from Avana Plastic Surgery were excellent. Dr. Moradian is the best, his assistant Cristina is very friendly and ensure at all times that I was properly informed about my surgery and care. I would have no reserves in recommending Avana’s services to family and friends.
If I could give zero stars I would. To begin when you send the information to make booking the staff has the patience of the world, once you give the deposit are ghosts. I've been trying to get in touch with the billing department for more than 1 week and it has been a complete failure. My plans for surgery were in May, Blanca my coordinator after I confirmed the date and I give the deposit I enter 2 weeks after Dr. Moradian does not have space until July then I am now trying to have my deposit back and no one is available I had to make online wait up to 30 minutes and then hooked your phone. The customer service is extremely poor
This is my 2nd go round... from my first experience to now I believe this place has came a long way in a good way it’s very organized now customer service is 100 % Better my coordinator has been getting back with me very promptly when I walked in they found me on the spread sheet quickly so as for now I’m rating a 5 star I’ll be back to leave another rating after surgery
During my time at avana was the best experience i had , they was attentive and caring …. Selena the customer service manger was delight and over saw any issue i had came across which wasn’t many . Keyla the receptionist was very respectful and accommodating when came to scheduling my massages. Joceine the other receptionist was great listener and made sure to follow up on my needs . Had a wonder experience from the first day i placed my call to get information of their service to the day of preop, surgery, post op and massages. It was a wonderful experience. The customer service manager, ensure we where well informed. On the day of my preop she took I and my friend around, asked us if we have any question, concern, on the day of my surgery she was also their to ensure my questions and concern where answered. My surgeon Dr moradian was friendly, made me at easy, answered my questions, and allay my anxiety. The anesthesiologist was very friendly, and professional, during my post op, everyone was amazing, the lady who scheduled my massages was wonderful and my massage therapist was very wonderful, compensate and very professional. To all member of avana plastic surgery I say thank you and keep up the good work. To Dr moradian thank you for doing a good job, being professional and honest. Still coming for my last procedure. Will always recommend avana to anyone because safety is their priority, though expensive but it worth it.

When I started to consider plastic surgery I looked at many surgeons. I came across Avana on Instagram and I loved the work the doctor did. I contacted them and got a response very quickly from Estefany. I was able to email my pictures and answer a few questions to see if they where the right place for me. After maybe a day she got back to me with a quote. After thinking it over I decided to go with Dc Mameniskis. I was super scared of how my results would be. After waiting for my surgery date I was able to meet the doctor, he was so kind and explained to me exactly what he would do and what he recommended. He explained to me to have a realistic expectation on the results since I did not want a tummy tuck. He informed me that with out it I would not have a super flat stomach. I understood I just wanted to look better in my own skin. Surgery was super quick and the staff was So nice and helped me till my husband picked me up. Recovery was hard because you can’t sleep on your back for some time since I got a BBL but it was all worth it. The doctor did such an amazing job! Dr Mameniskis is so profesional and understanding. I even text him in the middle of the night because I had questions and he was kind enough to answer back. He even gave me hips that I never had. I am so grateful and happy. Dr Mameniskis changed my body completely, Gave me what I wanted and more. If I ever decided to do any other procedures I would go to Dr. Mameniskis with out even thinking about it. My surgery was cancelled on the day of due to staff not calculating my BMI correctly. Refusing to refund all my money, charging me for a drug test that wasn't completed. Very unprofessional and not accommodating. Does not return calls and rude when you can't have procedure. Only positive thing I have to say about Avana is God protected me from more of a HORRIBLE experience. Lesson learned, will not be dealing with Avana. You shouldn't have to pay for unprofessional staff that doesn't know medical information.
I was skeptical about getting surgery but after speaking with Gabrielle Beauchamp she eased my fears , great customer service and she walked me through the portal and how to make my down payment she was sweet and really great with answering my questions. I really appreciate you and i can’t wait for my new body ❤️
Mameniskis did great work on my body!!! I also want to say the two ladies at the front desk Roxy and Ale were amazing they made my day every time I came in for a massage they need a raise for everything they deal with. I had some problems with being charged for something I didn’t get but the manager Alysen fixed the problem and gave me a full refund. Also the massage therapist Evette was firm but gentle and patient I loved her!!! My trip started off rocky but as long as your patient everything will be great!!
I was absolutely pleased with Avana plastic surgery. From the beginning to the end. I had the BEST surgery coordinator EVER. Gabrielle BEAUCHAMP was AMAZING and answered all my questions even after hours! I would think of a random question and she answered back quickly, no matter what time it was. Dr. Memeniskis is the best! So glad I went through him! He did such a transformation on my body it’s unbelievable! Ive never been more happy with my body and I’m only 3 weeks post op. I can only imagine the results are gonna look even better! I’ve been recommending him to EVERY girl I know!
I had a bbl at avana plastic surgery on the 27th and was greeted by Katie at the front desk and they treated me like family . I will be back just to visit them. They really care about there patients thank you Katie for always checking up on me and making sure I get my massages at post op !!

The stuff there is super friendly especially Roxana and Kayla. Also many thanks to the best massage therapist Ligia and Orlando for being so patient with me during my first post op days
Juliet and Juliana were great. They took good care of me. Everything was organized and no excessively long wait times. My coordinator Klerine was very patient with me while I got my labs in at the last minute as well. Anytime I called u had no issues getting through or leaving a message if my coordinator wasn't available. I would def come back to Avana.
Look let me tell you like this. Most of these reviews are probably really old or the people didn’t follow directions in some sort of way because the offices ( PLURAL) are clean, my pre op appointment was a decent time, day of surgery I only waited 2 hours and that’s because ( If you read your paperwork) it states Florida law requires you wait 2 hours minimum. My results were amazing ( DR.SCURLOCK) . I will say when you wake up from surgery/anesthesia they hurry up and send you home. I was in a lot of pain too. But other than that.. You LITERALLY can’t beat this!!
My coordinator Marilolys helped me through the entire process and answered all of the question, she’s truly the BEST. They should give her a raise for really going out of her way for the patients.
I’m not sure why people say this place is a scam. I had no issues with my surgery 3 years ago with Dr M or my current surgery I’m having tomorrow. I can’t wait for my new mommy make over !!!!

My surgical coordinator Gabrielle BEAUCHAMP goes above and beyond and responds quickly to all of my questions and concerns. Elys from pre admission has been just as helpful. Surgery is never an easy decision for anyone. But the staff of Avana has made me feel more comfortable and confident that I’m making the right decision.

Went to Avana for an evaluation with Dr Mameniskis ☺️ I was a little nervous at first but as soon as I arrived the girl in the front desk was super helpful and informative! I met my sales coordinator who helped me with paying my deposit, I even met my new Preop coordinator who explained the process of my surgery step by step , the facility was so clean and everyone kept distance. I had a great experience and can’t wait to get my new body!!!!
The center itself is clean but unorganized, the only great experience I received was with Milagro the women who gave me my massages at the center, she was more then helpful and made me feel so much better after every massage, she the definition of a hard/passionate worker, the staff around her on the other hand were very rude and unprofessional. They treated the patients waiting for massages with such nasty attitude and it was horrible to experience, I was so happy once my name was called into Milagros room because she is such a positive person and just made everything better.
I must give a special acknowledgment to Mayra she is one of the best and most communicative coordinator …My experience with her has been w bliss she’s defiantly a great add to Avana I recommend her to anyone who needs to be walked through the entire process !
I had a great experience with Avana. There were a few issues and I had to end up rescheduling a week later than originally planned but that was more my fault and I was actually surprised they were able to accommodate me for surgery a week later so close to the date. Communication was great before I went down there. I never had any issues getting my pre op coordinator on the phone. When I got there I was pretty nervous but the pre-op staff was great and made me feel comfortable about everything. I never had to wait long periods of time for any visits. Dr. Dress was great he gave me exactly what I wanted and surgery day was pretty quick as well. The lady who did my massages was amazing!! as well as all the other ladies in post-op. There were a lot of negative reviews for this clinic for awhile that had me really nervous but I waited it out and decided to stick with them and I’m so glad I did!
Wow! Dr.Dress did an awesome job. I’m loving my results. The staff was nice but the one who stood out the most was the customer service manager Selena. She went above and beyond. I definitely would recommend Avana!
5 stars My sister got her body done & she absolutely loves it. We came all the way from Michigan so she can have this procedure done. Super happy with the results. Dr. Dress is the best!!! We love him! Also Katie is extremely sweet & made a turn around on my view of the customer service!

i don’t know about everyone else but i have had the best experience. i felt like i was home. thank you to Anniel, Emily, and Alysen for making this experience 10/10. i will miss everyone in that office, i felt safe and they helped me throughout the whole process. Always had great communication, answered all of my questions, and everyone in the office was so nice from the moment i walked in to the moment i left. Dr. moradian is one of the BEST doctors and i would recommend him always. THANK YOU
Don’t just read the reviews that tell you what you want to hear. The reviews about terrible customer service are true. I will go into further detail of my experience but in a nutshell the doctors do great work and most of the staff is very friendly but Avana has a very unorganized structure when it comes to scheduling.. leaving people who are already in fear and pain waiting around for hours not knowing what the heck is happening. I think it has to do with wanting to see the most patients and make the most money. From the beginning.. the sales rep that I talked to was super nice and super helpful and assured me that she would be throughout the entire process. She lied. She only had me signed up for a breast augmentation although she verbally confirmed with me that I would also be paying for a lift with the given price. They were able to go back into the phone calls to confirm that she lied and they gave me a small discount on my procedure for the trouble. I have so many examples of how my experience continued to be incredibly frustrating but this review would be way too long if I shared it all. Pretty much, the scheduling is not structured so if you have an appointment be ready to wait for hours and hours or be rescheduled for another day.. even if you’re from out of town with reserved flights and hotels. Be prepared to wait 6 hours for your surgery in a cold waiting room. My arrival time for surgery day was ten and I didn’t get to leave the office until 6.. my surgery only took 2.5 hours or so. Luckily I had heard of this happening to someone else at my preop appt so I was mentally prepared for it to happen to me. Another very frustrating this was that although they were very kind, the staff was not all on the same page. One person says one thing like yes buy ice packs and another person said I don’t need nice as a very minuscule example but this is for everything. I felt like I needed to ask everyone I talked to the same questions because I couldn’t trust any of them after all the sh*t I went through. Surgery is stressful enough and Avana made the entire experience hell. All I can do now is hope I love my results, which I do feel like I will. I would have paid more to go to a more organized office if I knew better.. don’t just take this with a grain of salt!!!

They have terrible communication with out of town patients. Everything seemed great until they got my money. Then they stopped answering the phone and their miscommunication led to me being unable to get an answer and book my flight, hotel and aftercare in a timely fashion. Even though they mistakenly sent me an email stating that my surgery was canceled when it wasn’t and Therefore it was their fault that my surgery did not proceed they kept my deposit. I have spoken with several other women that this happened to. Maybe this is part of their money making scheme. I dunno but they never gave me my money back or acknowledged my concerns.
Honestly when I first started with Avana plastic surgery oh, I was a little hesitant. I also see a lot events on Facebook as well. The girls in the office that do the scheduling and coordinating of thing cannot be judged by the facility doctors! I had dr. Scurlock. I had a breast augmentation done on August 5th. Today is September I want to say 19th. They have already settled into place they look amazing they feel great! I can sleep on my stomach. I was riding horses yesterday! I'm running again. If you go on Facebook you will see that most of the girls recommend him out of all of the doctors.
Avana plastic surgery has VIP service in regards to my wife. The staff was amazing, the clinic is clean, the customer service manager was polite, informative and very helpful. My wife loves her results and I'm happy she is happy! I definitely recommend Avana !
This review is specifically for my surgical coordinator GABRIELLE BEAUCHAMP. She is amazing y'all extremely friendly, I changed my surgery date a few time and procedure and she was always available when I had a question. She has impeccable customer service skills and should be acknowledged for the great work she is doing. 5 stars for her!!! As for the center its a shame that almost a year later and a few weeks away from my surgery they are calling saying my surgery is going to cost more than the "promised" price I locked in over a year ago! That is a shame, ive booked my flight, hotel, and rental all for them to add an unexpected expense, they know some people will have no choice but to say okay to. As an out of towner they need to put into consideration that patients are saving money and making plans for these procedures. Money doesnt just fall out of the sky, atleast for me it doesnt.

Avana plastic surgery is the worst place ever when it comes to Communication!! My coordinator Elys Garcia drop the ball so many time when it came to communicating with me on my procedure. I reach out to her multiple times to gather information that should have been provided to me on what the next steps were. She emailed me my questionnaire on 4/9/21 at 7pm that night I Sent it back and heard nothing from her until 4/14/21. on that date she emailed me my per-op paperwork with a deadline to have my all labs/blood work chest x-ray and EKG and HIV tested done by 4/20/21 the letter stated that it all needed to be in two weeks before my procedure. I called Elys Garcia that same day and was told I would receive a call back before the end of the day which never happened. I called the next day and was able to speak with her I requesting more time she gave me a due date 4/27/21. I had my test done on 4/15/21 I placed a call to her on 4/19/21 to see if they had received everything they needed I was told she would call me back and that the doctor was reviewing my labs. I never heard from her that day even after I called two days after. The next time I heard from Elys Garcia my coordinator was on 4/27/21 to tell me my procedure was canceled despite the fact that I called on 4/19/21 to check and make sure everything was in. Elys Garcia is the worst coordinator ever for anybody who has a procedure coming up DONT allow Elys Garcia handle your case!!!
Dr. Scurlock— The Body Mechanic is HEAVEN SENT. His bedside manner is top tier. During pre-op he was very honest with me and he did exactly what he said he would do. Even with post-op swelling, I look AMAZING. After surgery he was still very polite and optimistic. Before coming to Avana, I told myself one and done, but because of him, I’m on the lookout for the next surgery. Thank you soooo much Dr. S ❤️
Hey Allll!!!!! Initially my communication was a little rocky with Avana. I understand why, they have a high volume of clients because the surgeons are so good I am assuming. I’m very big when it comes to communications and I require a lot of attention but some others may not feel the same. In The future I would just say for the staff: the information that’s provided the day of the surgery was absolutely great... just provide a little more of that information possibly a week in advance. Be sure to touch base on garments and massages (whether they are needed and the available packages) so that there are no surprises and everything is presented upfront. It’s more comforting to have as much knowledge as possible. It makes the patient feel a little less anxious. And sometimes with all of the excitement it’s hard to remember all of the questions we should be asking. Recovery time, the length of the procedure time wise, garments and massages. All of that information was provided after my surgery. I am very pleased with Avana and the customer service I received over all. If one individual couldn’t help there was always someone else to interject and provide the info I was asking for. Allison the general manager I believe was very professional and helpful so was zasha the coordinator and so many others that assisted. Dr. Moradian was very personable, bed side manners out of this world. He was easy to talk to and seems very knowledgeable in his craft. I appreciate the time he took to help me with what I wanted and my confidence. At one point he said “you know you can talk to me” and that touched my heard because now a days so may doctors do not possess that caring trait. I appreciated his personality and care. Muhammad, the Anesthesiologists, was also very personable. He made me laugh and feel Comfortable. Over all such an amazing team. I arrived at 10am I was out by 2pm. Yes lord! Lol I was surprised, very pleased and thankful.
I had a breast reduction with a lift by Dr. Moradin and it was terrible. My scars are very big and dark and he cut me to far under my arms. I have pain all the time inside of the scars. The first time when he did my surgery he had to use some Kinda cream medication for my heart and blood because of the swelling. Then when I got home my breast open back up and it was so horrible. I had to go back for him to close my breast back up. I’m still upset to this day what he done to my body. My breast ate different sizes and wish I knew a lawyer who I can do a lawsuit. Make sure you lady’s fo your research very good.
Although the doctors are great the office and staff gives THE WORST customer service you will literally have to call over and over for weeks to get anything resolved. I have been a trying to schedule my Botox that i already paid half of for the past 3 months , they also infiltrated my boyfriend’s vein at his preop which we waited 5 hours for. Do not recommend this place at all !!!

I had a breast augmentation with dress! Terrible job I had a bad infection. One breast is bigger than the other he botched me, I wouldn’t recommend!!!!! please do your research before giving your deposit.

So far so good! My best friend and I are getting a bbl in January. Our coordinator is Ariana. She is super nice and understanding. I explained to her that we want surgery on the same day and that we are flying from California. She made sure that my friend and I are both communicating with her and that our surgery will be on the same day. Me being a person that likes to plan ahead I really appreciated the understanding and effort she put in to help us. Super excited! Will definitely do a updated review after bbl.
While I typically prefer not to disclose my beauty secrets ????, I would be remiss not to share my experience at Avana, and possibly facilitate another woman’s opportunity to feel as fabulous as I feel after my cosmetic procedure. Full and honest disclosure: payment process was obviously easy breezy. While communication was brief, it was always professional and efficient. I experienced one scheduling error but it was corrected quickly and without hassle. Dr. Moradian was very personable and professional. I was fully confident in his work before meeting him and only further impressed, when I did. To say he helped me achieve my dream body is an understatement. The best part? He actually managed to give me optimal results while putting my safety first; he opted out of an additional procedure I had scheduled and already paid for to avoid unnecessary risk (we’ve all heard the horror stories from some facilities in Miami, yet this doctor chose my safety over his bottom line, even if it meant possibly disappointing me, as well. To be clear, I have no co-morbidities and am in perfect health so it was a purely ethical choice). Refund process also a breeze. Next: I was personally horrified of going under general anesthesia. My anesthesiologist was so calm and collected, that I was oddly at ease and comfortable. I went to sleep and before I knew it woke up; no weird sensations, no sore throat (which I personally feared), just woke up all hunky dory. My pain level was like a 4 after surgery and a 3 on day 2. I’ve had worse workouts (if you have a low pain threshold I recommend getting “cell saver”, I think that’s why my recovery was so easy). Can’t forget my pre-op nurse Ariana who knowledgeably answered all my questions and played a huge role in easing my pre-op anxiety! If you are on the verge like I was, concerned about safety but don’t want to sacrifice amazing results; book your consultation, you won’t regret it.
Preop and surgery was a breeze, however, please make sure you have insurance or extra money if you run into complications because this place will leave you high and dry for dead! You will have no contact with the surgeon themselves only coordinators who cannot help with complications! Please take heed of this warning all facts no fiction
This place will take your deposit and sell you dreams!! I was scheduled for surgery this week and I’ve been emailing and calling for almost 3 weeks. The last time someone reached out to me was April 1st. They did not call to confirm as they said they would when they received all of my medical clearance paperwork and I’m still waiting for someone to call me back! I think this place is understaffed and growing too quickly and they do not have the man power to manage each patient/call. With that being said, this place is not trustworthy.

If I could give 0 stars I would!!! Buyer beware!!!!once your money is paid they care nothing about you…. Should your procedure yield no results… they don’t care…. Your only option is to pay for another procedure and don’t expect a call back from anyone at Avana because it won’t happen, it’s not their money wasted or body so your S.O.L I highly recommend that you go somewhere else!!! When you call to speak to someone you get told they are with a patient and will call you back or they are on lunch and will call you back or they are gone for The day and they will leave a message for Them to call you back and that never happen $5800.00 wasted!!! There have been some good results that have came from there but when you get no results for what you paid for they write You off, don’t respond to your calls or emails and you are left sad, upset, and out of thousands of dollars!!!!! They are the absolute worst and I’m begging you to not be duped like I was, there social media only posts the good results never the unfavorable ones and it’s unfortunate that anyone would have to go through this

Avana!! They are improving went last year for a breast aug doctor was amazing mameniskis love him to death so sweet!!!! Communication was ehhhh back then cause they were fairly new, they have high volume calls now more patients so I under stand the communication isn’t the best but they are improving so much with Zasha and Monique!!! I came again for a bbl with moradian and he snatched me up !!!!!!! Thank you ZASHA AND MONIQUE FOR ALL YOUR HELP I was so nervous and she was with me every step of the way. Trust the process ladies! The worst costumer service. Took my money to “set appointment” then come appointment date. They don’t have me on the schedule. ..???? Hotel booked, flight paid for, Time off work. Now the only option they are giving me is sometime in June or cancel my surgery. Then hung up on me when I asked to speak to a supervisor. Dr. Moradian please get your staff on the same page. This is your reflection as well.
After leaving here today I’m so happy with the service from everyone. The office is well kept the girls in the office are welcoming and Dr Dress was very nice plus patient.
The facility was so beautiful and easy to navigate, the staff is so wonderful and friendly. Naturally with getting any surgery you are nervous the staff did their thing with making sure I was comfortable and had all of my questions answered. Sx is tomorrow and I know I am in great hands!!!

Yeah there’s a wait but that’s normal anywhere you go being everybody is having plastic surgery. So if your thinking about surgery do your research and give Avana a try.
Dr. Moradian was the best! I had a good experience with this facility. My only suggestion is that they offer to give you your prescription before surgery. Everything else was great!
Gave my mother a stamped prescription, then we drove around miami and was told by every cvs/walgreens that they only accept written prescriptions. The office was closed and we had to wait until the next day to get her the meds she needed.

I’ve been trying to complete surgery date for months now and no one returns my calls !mind u I was already handled horribly the date I paid surgery the sales girl charged me before me seeing the doctor and even put me with wrong doctor to top off they couldn’t do surgery even though I paid because my weight had to come down ! They say this after I paid!! Amd till this day I try setting date and cannot get any of the surgery coordinators to help or answer my calls... one year and a half without NO Surgery! No help!! And all PAID!!

Great work by the surgeon and the staff is really friendly but quite disorganized. All of my post-op appointments were always over an hour delayed and the staff didn't communicate with each other. It's a very high anxiety situation when you're in tuns of pain and trying to have patience. They were very accommodating during the wait times by letting me lay down in an empty room while I waited. I hope they sort out the customer service issues because I love my results and am so happy I chose my surgeon.
Absolutely terrible experience. The ‘coordinators’ have no medical knowledge, nor customer service etiquette. AT ALL. I was treated as a number and nothing more. Money is all this place if after. I traveled from out of state, thus I met my doctor for maybe 5 minutes before my procedure, with the CRNA doing my case. Extremely rushed and impersonal. I asked for a BBL, and I just wanted a small amount deposited to my buttock, slim waist and natural bottom. My bottom is HUGE. My coordinator Anyelin LIED to me on multiple occasions regarding CRNAS or Anesthesiologists. It even got to the point where she literally laughed at my questions and concerns. A surgery coordinator who doesn’t know the difference between a CRNA and a DOCTOR. I was so frightened but I continued to trust the system after I spoke with a supervisor, who assured me they would try to have an attending MD present. Which of course, they did not do. Totally inappropriate and of poor business manners. All concerns were met with sighs of annoyance and a poorly formed ‘sorry.’ My coordinator informed me I did not need to stay in FL for more than 5 days TOTAL. I confirmed this with her multiple times before I made my flight and hotel. After my procedure, I did my follow up where I asked Dr. Moridian himself about my drain. He said I can have it taken out anywhere- a urgent care, my PCP, etc. So home I went, the Friday after my surgery, as Anyelin had told me was appropriate. Now I am home and no one will remove my drain, due to regulation. Not even the ER will. I have called the office and they suggest I fly back to Florida to have them remove it. (Which is insane.) The people who work here are untrained, unqualified, and are completely incompetent. They have no place to be involved with medical matters. Anyelin specifically should be removed from any form of job related to medical practice. My entire experience has been awful; I feel taken advantage of, abused, neglected, and fooled. Shame on these people.
Shoutout to Katie for helping my mother in law get through her BBL in the beginning of January’2021, enlightening her on do’s & don’t’s and still keeping her priorities straight and making sure my MIL received the help she needed being a first timer getting this surgery. She is caring and honest in what she does and she made her feel very welcome and secure and that’s exactly who I wanted around her during this whole process. 10/10 customer satisfaction, she knows what’s she’s doing! ❤️

If I could rate this place a 0 I would. These people do not care about you. I was treated like a number and not an individual. I had multiple questions about my up coming surgery and never received a call back. Emails weren't answered clearly and took way too long to respond. Customer Service is horrible here and is a very unprofessional clinic. I canceled my appointment. Be careful ladies and make sure to do your research. I have taken a financial loss due to being an out of state patient. 10/10 do not recommend. This place is a SCAM! Hold on to your hard earned money ladies!
I’m currently one day post opp. Dr Moradian was my surgeon and I must say he did a great job.. I booked for a bbl and j plasma .. I showed him my wish pic right before surgery and he promised to do his best and he did just that.. the anesthesiologist was also very nice and informative. Let’s talk about the staff… they are sooo sweet and helpful. The place was really clean and my massage therapist Ligia Cobo is the best I’m going to book all my massages with her.. She was sooo open, patient and also gave me sooo many recommendations I love her spirit.. One last thing.. please go in with a strong and positive mindset.. when I woke up form surgery I was in soooo much pain and had to wait about 15 mins for my pain meds to be filled.. I kept telling myself mind over matter and I constantly took deep breaths.. I suggest the same for future dolls once I got my pain meds I felt a lot better after about an hour!

DO NOT SUBMIT DEPOSIT!!! I would be really careful with this place, especially if you’re interested in a breast reduction. They are nice at first and helpful, but once you summit a deposit, you’re just another number. I cancelled my breast reduction appointment because I realized that the doctor I book with isn’t a board certified plastic surgeon, but a cosmetic surgeon (not really qualified to do breast reduction). I called and told my coordinator that I didn’t feel comfortable with this and I wanted to cancel. She kept giving me the run-around. I knew they didn’t have my or other patients’ best interest, it was all about the money! She kept saying, “we can keep your deposit for another procedure”. I told her I’m not interested in another procedure! And they won’t refund the deposit. This place lacks transparency, which is essential for a place like this!

I’m not sure why there’s so many bad reviews but I’ve had nothing but the best experience with Avana and Dr Dress! I will say that getting the meds was a little hard the day of my surgery. Other than that, my results are amazing, massages are amazing, and they also call and follow up to check how you’re doing!
I am very frustrated because I wanted to get a 360 lipo and read great reviews about the place. I have not changed my mind I still want the service. When I first talked to Melissa, I carefully explained that I work on a cruise ship and I will have a limited time in Miami to get this done. I specifically asked to have the service done between 09.18.2021 and 09.21.2021, because I arrive to Miami on 09.18.2021 and leave on 09.26.2021 and Melissa advised that I need to stay 5 days after the surgery. So, we have agreed on 09.21.2021. Then I paid my deposit and I was passed on to Deisy. After I paid my deposit, ny date was suddenly changed to 09.20.2021, which requires me to attend a pre medical surgery on 09.17.2021- which I cannot do, because I will only arrive to the country one day after that. Despite several emails to Deisy and Melissa I have received no response at all to this day. Then I called the clinic for a refund, where after I explained my situation I was 5old to cancel online which I did. Then I received an email that I do not qualify for a refund, and even though I have responded to that email, Customer Service rep Vilma Garcia did not even bother to respond at all. This is the most unprofessional way to deal with a client! They made me pay the deposit, then change my surgery date without my approval and ignore every email I sent. I don't doubt that the surgery is professional , however the way your staff treated me is unheard of- I have been in sales for over a decade -I'd never even think about dealing with clients this way. I do not want to believe that any business can afford to do this without consequences.
Pre-surgery assistance is non-existent. This review is strictly for the pre-surgery coordination; I have yet to have the surgery. I hope that by writing this review, someone from AVANA will contact me. I am from out of town, actually out of the country. Getting signed up for the surgery was super easy. The person was very communitive, sending and responding to emails, SMS, and whatsapp. As soon as I signed up and made my initial payment, they transferred me to a pre-admission coordinator who never once responded to emails. They also changed my scheduled surgery date without my permission, which I only noticed when I went to fill in the questionnaire. I had paid in full well before they changed the appointment, so why would I log in? I did not receive an email or a phone call about this change in schedule. I have fairly normal blood disorder. It's not extremely rare, but it causes issues with my CBC which are completely normal for me, but alarming for anyone who does not have this genetic condition. This was annotated on my pre-medical clearance letter by my primary care physician. He specifically said that my blood work was within the normal range for me. I also provided three years of historical blood work to show it's on the level. I did not get any calls or emails from my pre-admission coordinator, so I thought everything was fine. By the way, do not expect to be able to call AVANA and speak with your pre-admission coordinator. They will always "call you back." And then don't. They don't answer emails or respond to messages that you send on the portal either. The only way I found out that AVANA needed additional blood work was because I used the portal on-line assistant yesterday to ask if everything was in order. They told me I needed additional CBC work because it was "too low." Which tells me that they didn't actual look at the medical clearance letter. Why they bother getting it if they're just going to ignore it is beyond me. It's now less than a week before my scheduled surgery, and my pre-admission coordinator emailed me a new RX for the CBC panel LAST NIGHT. Mind you, I submitted my first round of blood work 29 days before my surgery. Today is Thursday, and I am to fly out on Sunday. My blood work might not be returned until Saturday, and the pre-admission coordinators do not work on the weekend. My blood work will come back with the same results, but I have no idea if they will cancel my surgery because no one who can make that decision will contact me. I have called numerous times and have sent emails, used the on-line chat function, and no one will respond. Hopefully they will see this review and contact me. All in all, I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle if you're from out of town. Maybe local folks have it better, but I don't recommend that you take the risk.
They’re a bunch of liars and con artists. I was told I had to put down a deposit to start my bbl journey only to be told I couldn’t get the bbl first I had to get a TT first. When I decided that’s not what I wanted to do because I hadn’t once spoke to the doctor to explain everything to me nor was any coordinator helpful, only when it involved talking about the prices. When I had questions she acted like she was in a rush and was very short with the answers. When I requested a refund I was told I couldn’t get one but they could help me with something else, that’s the only time they actually called and tried to get me to keep their service. The doctors might be good but you won’t get far talking to the coordinators. FYI read the fine print before you sign because when I discussed cancelling she told me how to request one but once I did she said I signed something that states I don’t get my deposit back. They’re very slick unprofessional, just a big call center if you ask me.
I had surgery 06/08 with Dr Mamenski for my BBL and lipo, had to wait a bit before surgery but my coordinator Daniela came to say hi she is very nice and professional when I was losing faith in this process, thank you to the staff for the patience.
In the beginning, communication was a complete utter mess. Your new office manager Selena did a great job taking over the communication and comfort. Selena went above and behind for me.

We paid deposit for surgery at February our surgery was scheduled for may( even after we were promised get it done in about month) now the time of surgery come and they just send us email about canceling surgery, we start calling em since morning almost 30 phone calls they just place u on hold till u hang up they got deposit and dont care anymore, we are out of country so we paid on top of deposit for surge also for hotel, airplane tickets and nobody bother him self with explaining what’s going on and why we loosing almost 3000 in other expenses for unknown reason. Avoid this clinic for your own good.
I went to dr.Moradian. I had lipo 360 procedure. He was very nice and avana moved fast with my pre op and actual procedure. They have checked on me since then! Very curtious. I’m about to receive my second massage from them.
I don’t go for surgery until the 26th, however my package included a faja and I confirmed with my coordinator via text. Now they are saying nothing is included in anyones and that they are not honoring that anymore. I’ll post another review after surgery!
Kayla front desk at post op, and Sunamy massage therapist were kind and patient with me. They showed compassion despite other chaotic patients and demamds. Their professionalism was phenomenal ????
I am Uber pleased with my surgery! Dr. Scott Moradian was kind and real. I am an older patient with a really weird butt! “He was like I am not Harry Potter” and I said “I am not looking for magic dude, just do your job”! We both laughed. I had my post op the next day and that is where they lost the last star. No one made follow up appointments for me. I knew enough to go to the desk and request that my drain be removed prior to me returning home in 7 days. The appointment was made with no problem. They didn’t push products or massages which was fine for me because all of those things were superbly supplied at my recovery house. Overall I would recommend AVANA, but be knowledgeable about your services and aftercare so you can fill any gap should it occur.
so far, great ! I am scheduled for the next month, I received all the information I need and the. communication is great! with respond in a hour or less, my surgical coordinator is Gabrielle Beauchamp. Excited and cant wait to see my end results !!!
I'm giving the facility, staff, and surgeons all 5 stars. My daughter came to have surgery at this facility and we couldn't have picked a better place. If your ever having trouble the customer service manager will help you along the way with anything you need. She is so attentive and personable. My daughters results are bomb! Thank you doctor M!

I don’t typically post reviews but I had to make one after having the most amazing experience. First, I’ll start off by saying they are located in a perfect location that’s close to multiple hotels and their office is large and beautiful. I am from out of state so I had to stay in a hotel. The day before my surgery I had pre op to make sure everything is in check and ready (yes, it is a wait time due to them having a high volume of patients and multiple doctors operating) but what the reviews did not mention is that while waiting every single staff in the building was working and doing their best to get everybody in. Be ready to spend a few hours there and if it’s not for you there are less popular surgery spots you can spend less time waiting in. Now, the day of surgery I was the first one of the day, 4:45am to be exact. That’s the day you meet the doctor and discuss what result you’re looking for. My surgeon was Dr.Scott Moradian, I have never encountered such amazing bedside manner from a doctor in my life. He came in right away in the best mood considering it was practically night time and I had the best experience with him. He answered all my questions, made me feel comfortable, and explained every detail of the procedure. He eased my fears and assured me everything will be ok while escorting me to the OR. Not to mention, every single nurse and the anesthesiologist was in a great mood and happy to be there (considering the early time) calming me down throughout the process. During the recovery time my massage therapist Milagros and my nurse Sunami were considerate of the pain I was in and made sure I was in and out as fast as I could be. Milagros was so caring and amazing while doing my massages since I was extra sensitive. She took her time and also got to know me better to make me feel more at ease. Both Milagros and Sunami made my recovery smoother and made me less anxious than I was. I couldn’t thank both of you enough for being so amazing and accommodating with a high volume of patients.. Thank you again, Dr. Moradian for being the absolute best along with your wonderful staff.
My experience has been great from beginning to end. I came from out of town and was very nervous however Daniela my surgical coordinator made me feel very comfortable she answered my question in a timely manner and she made my overall pre-op experience smooth sailing. Dr. Mameniskis did my tummy tuck and full back Lipo currently I am swollen but I can tell I am going to be happy. Lastly Tanya the NP was great she advised me what to do post-op she removed my drains and stitches and was very gentle and attentive thank you!
Disappointed! I didn't want to pay attention to the bad reviews. I went there cause a friend did a bbl and she was happy but customer service is not so good. The nurse was about to give me Penicillin when I clearly stated in each paper work that I am allergic to. They made me go to the clinic 2 extra times for no reason because the coordinators and the staff at the clinic are in 2 different pages. I got a bbl done and now i see one buttocks bigger than the other one :( You will never see the doctor again but just the day of surgery also i requested to get all my medical records and all the paper work that i signed on my pre op and i paid extra for those documents and i never received them.
I got a Tummy Tunk on August 23rd with Dr. Dress, he has the best bedside manners I’ve ever seen. Everyone at this clinic treats you with care and respect. The staff Is very friendly. I would definitely come back again. Amazing staff and Doctors.

I just had a breast augmentation with silicone implants and I can honestly say that I had a great experience. The staff were extremely nice and informative (considering all the pressure they're under) . My doctor Dr. Mameniskis did an amazing job as well. Facility was very well sanitized... Will definitely recommend.
I arrived at pre op, the staff was amazing, & greeted me as if they been knowing me. Mrs. Selena (customer service manager) came in and introduce herself while we wait, answer any and every question we had. Very respectful, I like her already! I know there’s nothing to worry about. She definitely build my confidence even more just by talking with her❤️

Very bad communication! And because of this they do not acknowledge that they have received your pcp clearance and they are quick to cancel your surgery. Very unorganized, unprofessional & ghetto. I do not recommend!

Communication with my coordinator was not the best. But once i got into pre- op it was smooth sailing! Selena immediately came up to me and made me feel at home. Nelsy handled my massage and gave me that motherly love which made everything so much smoother. And of course my amazing doctor Dr. Scurlock made me feel like i was at the right place and with the right body mechanic! Thanks!
I had some problems to occur close to my bbl date that needed to be handled ASAP which cause me to push my date back a lil further. I was connected to a Ms. Malissa Bello and I must say from start to finish she was awesome. She did not once complain nor have a attitude she was able to get me right back in with the doctor that I wanted in the beginning that wasn’t available at the time I book and her service was very fast. Customer service need more people like her

I was initially scared and skeptical about doing surgery here given their reviews but I really wanted Dr. Mameniskis to snatch this body. Booking process was pretty easy, they always return calls to get your deposit. But a special shout out to my preop coordinator Daniela! Coming from out of state I was a nervous wreck I know I must have annoyed her at some point but Daniela always returned my calls on time, she was super informative about the procedure and what I was getting myself into. She worked with me when it came to my labs and gave me advice on how to raise my iron in such a short time. I’ve heard horror stories about how rude the other coordinators are or how long they take to return emails / calls so I truly feel blessed to have had her as my coordinator. Preop appointment was pretty short and quick and day of surgery came, got to meet Dr. Mameniskis and he said he would take out as much fat as he could. Super sweet and caring doctor, definitely May come back for breasts!

PLEASE READ! Things I learned too late. •They are NOT accredited by the Better Business Bureau (which means you can’t file a complaint). •They do NOT have insurance so they require you to sign a waiver that you can NOT sue the company, only the doctors. • If you use a creditor to pay for your surgery they charge you full price, they won’t tell you that! • Once you get your procedure done, they pretty much push you out of the way if you need follow ups. •Avana opened around 2019, so it’s still new and it makes sense why the staff is the way it is. •They only have ONE phone number for ALL departments, meaning they’ll ask you to take a message and you have to wait for that deparment to call you whenever they feel like it. • The actual doctors are awesome but the issue is you can’t get past the front desk or nurses to speak to them. • For Post-Op it’s pretty unorganized, it was a lot of nurses, empty rooms, yet the waiting from was packed. So I’m not sure what’s going on with that. Sadly I wouldn’t recommend this place unless your absolutely desperate and need a quick surgery.
Celina the customer service manger was wonderful she help me in every way I needed help she made sure I got everything I needed before an after surgery an every time I went in for my massage she was around to see if I needed any help with anything an apart from that the other people there was good too but Celina was the best an I would recommend anyone to go to avana an Dr. mameniskis is an amazing doctor he did a wonderfull job on me
I had such great experience with the staff that helped me at Avana. I was well taken care of by my medical assistant Sunamy, During all of my post op appointment she had me in and out! My massage therapist Nelsy was very gentle but aggressive with my massages and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. Dr Moradian has such a great personality. He was very open to answer any questions or concerns I had and didn't have. Her continuously checked up on me before and after surgery!!!! I would recommend these three to anyone going to Avana!!!!

Butcher shop. It’s been an year since I’ve had my surgery with doctor Mameniskis and it was the worst experience of my life. I flew from Boston, first went to the clinic a day before the surgery for the pre op appointment and me and a bunch of other girls had to wait from 9am till 6pm to see the doctor who NEVER SHOWED UP because he decided he didn’t have time. Then I had a huge problem trying to pay because they decided to tell me the day before the surgery that they didn’t accept care credit anymore EVEN THOUGH they still had Care credit flyers at the clinic and on the website, then I showed them the texts from my “coordinator” told me it was okay a few months ago, but oh well not their problem. I had to spend money that I wasn’t planing to just because they are not organized at all. On the day of the surgery, I see my doctor for 5 minutes, they rush us to take of the clothes and run into the OR, they didn’t even put anything in my hair, the OR had the door open, it was really gross. Than I woke up sitting in a wheelchair, freezing, crying and disoriented (effect from the anesthesia) and some lady tells me I have to stop. They threw me in a bed and before I realized they threw me back in the wheelchair again and gave me to the guy who picked me up. I was hurt so bad in this process. Then I come back a few days later for the post op appointment, same thing happens, doctor sees me for 5 seconds and says it’s all fine. I had to wait for HOURS again. My body looked and still looks horrifying. My stomach looks like three separate parts. Since the surgery I have what feels like empty wholes where the tube was put in. I have huge scars where the stitches were made. My body looks worst than before. It was all for nothing. I regret going to this place everyday of my life. They aren’t human. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.
Had a breast augmentation/lift with Dr.Mameniskis 10/19/20. Would definitely recommend him & this office! everything went smoothly from booking the apt. all the way until SX day. The office itself looks very nice & is clean. The staff is friendly, informative & keeps up with patients. Dr. Mameniskis was friendly, he was informative & did what he had to do! Thnxxx
I highly recommend Avana! I took care of my mom for surgery and every time I came into the office the staff was so welcoming. The customer service manager Selena was amazing and very attentive to my mom and answered any questions we had. She even called me when my mom was out of surgery just to inform me. Firstly I would like everyone reading the reviews to take them SERIOUSLY. Honestly coming to Avana Plastic Surgery has been the WORST experience ever. Everything about this clinic is absolute trash from speaking to the coordinators up until surgery and even after at your post op appointment. The first red flag I noticed was when I spent over 2+ weeks trying to reach my coordinator whom was Deysi Paz who up until this day I have never talked to btw. I reached out to her thru text messages, emails, phone calls and nothing. I would always get put in a queue of 30 or more people every time I called and once they answered they would send me to voicemail or hang up. My surgery was scheduled for 04/26/2021 which was a Monday so they told me I had to be there Friday for my pre op appointment. I booked my flights, Airbnb, car rental and everything according to my surgery date they had given me. However they called me 4 days before my scheduled surgery to tell me they had to reschedule my surgery due to “family problems with my surgeon” they rescheduled it to the 28th. At this point I had to reschedule my flights now and lose the money I had already spent on the ticket I had to cancel my car reservation and reschedule it and since it was so close to the date I spent almost 1k in just the car rental itself and I had to book another Airbnb for the remainder of the days I had to be there. I go to my pre op appointment the 27thand later that day surprise surprise they call me to tell me they have to reschedule my surgery yet again! They rescheduled it for the 29th. At this point I’m done losing money on rebooking everything so I leave it as it is and decide I’m going to leave 4 days after my surgery rather than 7 like I wanted. They sent me my scheduled surgery time super late I almost didn’t see the email. I arrive the day of surgery at 10:45am sharp and there’s already 5 girls in the waiting room. I asked the lady at the desk when I was checking in if they where all for the same doctor and she tells me “of course not we have 4 surgeons they all have different doctors” however once me and the girls waiting begin to talk we realize literally 6 of us have surgery with the same doctor. Doctor Mameniskis. Some of these girls have been there since 6am! And have yet to be called it was 1pm. All of us where venting and we all had to be rescheduled multiple times. Surgery date was just horrible I arrived at 10:45am like they asked me to. Didn’t get called into a room until 3:30pm got left in that room to wait for the doctor to mark me up. Got marked around 4:00pm and was left in that room alone until 6:40pm! Once the anesthesiologist came in he was very rude and in a rush and didn’t even insert the IV in the room he made me walk into the operating room lay down on the table get my legs and hands tied down and THEN inserted my IV all while complaining about how “bulky”my veins are and how he hopes he doesn’t blow them!!! He is the last person you see before you go under the knife you would expect him to make you feel safe and comforted but NO he stressed me out to the max and made me feel completely uncomfortable. I didn’t leave the building until 10:20pm! I was literally there for 12hours! I had a BBL at another clinic last year (305 plastic surgery) and the process was nothing like this on my surgery date I was in and out in 3 hours and felt completely comfortable with the whole staff. Post op was hell too I waited 3 hours to be seen and massaged. The only good experience I got from this whole clinic was the massages by Milagros she was excellent! And Anita was also on top of everything. The problem with this clinic is none of the departments are organized they don’t know what they’re doing, they book waaaaaay too many patients when they clearly don’t have time to tend to them all the way they should be they only care about their money. The surgeons may do a good job I would honestly never recommend anyone to come here after the experience I went thru. *Just thought I would add that they lost my implant identification card I never received

I went to Avana plastic surgery on December, 8 2021. I went for a breast augmentation with Dr. Mameniskis and my experience with him was good he had great bedside manner. My results were great!! Two of the staff Katheryn and Ana were Awesome they were extremely helpful and very sweet girls the absolute best of the staff there hands down!!!

Please don't believe everything you read about Avana! So far so good. I initially booked Avana to surprise my wife with the surgery that she has been wanting. The communication was great, they always returned my calls and answered any questions I had. When it came to me and my wife's arrival it was the VIP treatment. Staff was amazing, doctor had wonderful bedside manners. and the customer service manager was beyond helpful. Thank you Avana for helping me plan this wonderful surprise for my wife. She is beyond happy and she is loving her results. Take a leap out on faith everyone and book with Avana!

Dr. Mameniskis did my BBL and I love it! The clinic is clean, everyone is friendly and speaks fluent English. The manager Alison is incredibly sweet and the preop staff was great. My coordinator consultant was Daniella she was ON IT !!! When I became a part of her team I felt at ease, I was cleared right away. I’m not one to come on here but I have to give thanks when due! 5/5, coming back for my breasts next year
I wish it was possible to not have any stars for a rating. I made almost a complete payment for cosmetic surgery, but due to medical reasons I was not cleared. It states in their refunding contract that if you’re not medically cleared, you can be granted a full refund. I requested one, and out of my deposit they are keeping $500 from me. I was told by the billing department that they are able to do that for any reason, and that they don’t have to state what the reason is. The only reasoning they gave me was “You’re not qualified to receive your refund in full.” It does not make sense to me why they would need to keep $500 when I am not medically cleared to get the surgery I originally wanted. That is absurd. If somebody can not get a surgery due to medical issues that they found out about while undergoing pre-op admission appointments, they should be granted a full refund as it is not their fault and they did not voluntarily decide to not undergo surgery. You’re stealing from your customers at this point. Mind you, it also took me two weeks to be able to get a hold of anybody just for them to tell me I’m not eligible for a complete refund. I kept getting told that they would send messages to their superiors and that they would get back to me, which they never did. Any and all communication that was made from me to them was only due to me constantly calling and not settling for them not answering phones, constantly transferring, or placing me on a hold and then hanging up.
I highly recommend this place. One main reason is the customer service and how informative the staff is.
I just had my BBL with Dr. Scurlock , I am now about to be 3 months Post-Op & I am completely in love with my results. I had a great experience at Avana & my coordinators Ms. Lopez and Anniel made it a smooth sail. They can get busy but for the most part you just have to have some patience. They guided me from start to finish & I am looking forward to coming back to do my breast next spring!!!!!
I would have loved to give avana 5 stars. My doctor, Dr.Scurlock was amazing. He was very kind and made Me feel comfortable before and after the surgery. I went in with a lot of anxiety and he made me feel safe. I love my results from my lipo 360 and bbl. I asked him to make me look as natural as possible and he did. it has only been a week and I can already see a big difference from the swelling. I would recommend him to anyone looking for cosmetic procedures. On the other hand, my coordinator was absolutely terrible. Daisy has no sense of customer service whatsoever. It would take days for her to respond to me, and when she did she would completely disregard my email and respond talking about something completely different. The times that I spoke to her on the phone, she sounded like she hated her job and didn’t want to be there. I understand that she may be busy, but if that’s the case then they should hire someone to work alongside her so that it could help her take off some of that work load. The biggest thing for me was after surgery. I emailed her regarding my drains.. the massage therapist told me that they were clogged, and that I needed the doctor or a nurse to take a look at them. I emailed her and NEVER got a response. I had to take it into my own hands and call avana to schedule an appointment to see a nurse during the weekend. The nurse saw them and decided it was best to take them out. I never saw my doctor again. when the 7th day after my surgery came , I expected an email from daisy since they require you to stay 7 days because of the drains and to make sure that everything is ok… I never got anything. If I never would have called I would still have those drains inside me. and I would have never been looked at by a nurse. To me that’s so unprofessional. Daisy needs to either express the fact that she may need some help at work or find another clinic that will allow her to properly respond to clients. As for dr.scurlock .. he is moving to another clinic! Icon.. I am hoping that at icon they have the proper training for their coordinators and that he could continue to grow in Miami. He deserves to be well known and having a coordinator like daisy could potentially damage his image.

Avana was unprofessional from the moment they took my deposit. The scheduling coordinator Erica said over and over that i could get my money back if I needed to cancel. Of course once I cancelled I couldnt get a refund. How ironic I called Deisy my coordinator, Who coordinator absolutely nothing. I called several times because I had questions. The people that answer the phone always said “she is busy with another customer. She will call you back” but she never returned my call(S). I then asked them to cancel my appointment because I am not paying them any money so they can ignore me. Then maybe 2 months later Deisy finally sends me an email that they are rescheduling my appointment. Do you see what I mean. She never received my messages. So now my refund has been denied. If anyone is thinking of using Avana I wouldnt put a deposit unless you are absolutely sure. I would really rethink using them. BTW I gave my money to another doctor who took care of me the whole way
Beware Avana is a fraudulent company. Don't be fooled by the low prices. The day of surgery was so unorganized. My surgery time was for 9am. They did not lay me on the table until 5pm. There were about 10 girls in the room waiting for the same surgeons and we all had times around 9am to get surgery. So there was nothing but arguments that morning. I seen Dr. Moradian the day of surgery so he could look at my body. I paid for a saline implants for $2800 and a breast lift which totaled up to 5200. When I seen Moradian he advised that I only get the breast lift and that I would get my refund for my implants. Well of that $2800 I only received $1000. I've contacted Vilma from the billing department and she says that's all they can give and when you ask for the supervisor she's never available. The only reason I'm giving them a star is only due to the fact that Dr. Moradian took my health into consideration.
Do not go here for your surgery needs. Once they get your money they no longer care about you. You wake up with no pain relief and are thrown in a wheelchair and wheeled out with no recovery time so they will no longer be reliable for you. Also if you are trying to get any information about your surgery afterwards good luck. They never respond. And when they do they are extremely incompetent and rude. Don’t even get me started on how unorganized the pre-op process is.

Although communication at Avana isn’t the greatest but they have a clean facility, staff is sweet especially the customer service manager Selena she is always smiling and wiling to help with her beautiful smile , and the doctors are wonderful.
I paid My deposit back in January. I was suppose to go in May for lipo 360 and bbl. I been emailing, calling trying to reschedule for these last couple weeks and have not got a call back, nor email back. Just unprofessional and horrible!
I accompanied my girlfriend on this crazy journey and what she has gained is amazing. Her attributes are spectacular. The customer service from the staff to the manager is wonderful. I can't complain.

Avana plastic surgery is great!!! My friend got surgery and I had to take her to her massages every week. They are so nice and helpful. Milagros was her masseuse and she is the sweetest person ever!!! She is very nice and gentle with her especially with her pain that she was feeling from the surgery. She is the best and I definitely recommend her for your massages! She even gives you candy lol :)))

Ok I’m only leaving a nice review because there is a nice young lady there who walks around and helps you. Communication was ok in the beginning and i love my results so far from Dr. Scurlock but the girls who schedules the massages ARE RUDE!!!! I did not like them. Beside that i would definitely recommend Dr Scurlock he did a good Job on my BBL
My experience with Avana was awesome. The purchase process was very easy (as it is every where else) - My preop process was not perfect but it was smooth, my coordinator and her assistants always called me back and answered all my questions (typically I always got a call back but was not always transferred to my coordinator on the first call), when i arrived at the clinic the staff was friendly and helpful, the customer service manager is there to assist patients throughout the surgery process, which was great. Day of surgery was smooth and post op was great, you have to wait for your massage appointment but everyone is super helpful and caring. I would recommend this place to anyone.
I initially came here with a friend as a companion, her experience was great, so I decided to proceed with them. My experience was great, when you call the clinic it is a little difficult to get a response right away but they alway always called me back and assisted me. Dr. Mameniskis was great, my bbl came out super good. He listened to what i wanted and gave me just that. I would recommend this clinic to anyone that wants fabulous results

I definitely have to agree with many of the reviews on here! This is by far the worst place ever. Had my procedure with Dr Moradian and he was a great surgeon. I actually loved my results! But the staff is unbelievably terrible. There’s no other way to put it. To begin, it’s nearly impossible for anyone to return your call. Coordinating the surgery was frustrating because once you pay…they treat you like a number and can honestly care less. Prior to receiving your money you’re treated like royalty then once they have it it’s downhill…coordinator’s are horrible and lack experience as well professionalism. Day of surgery the doctor quickly marked me up and off to OR room. The anesthesiologist I had was Mohamad and although I only briefly met with him he was great! He actually made me feel super comfortable. Woke up from surgery in extreme pain and was immediately told to get up and sit in the wheelchair. Ok fine…NO ONE came and told me anything no updates, no how you feeling, nothing…the ONLY person who took time to actually check on me was Mohamad (anesthesiologist). He asked how I was feeling and said I’ll be right back with some pain medicine. And indeed he did! Was told to come back next day for a post op visit and was told to be there 6:45. I was there on time but the doctor didn’t come to see me until almost 10! Again no respect for anyones time. When he came he was super nice but spent maybe 2 min with me said everything looked great and that was it. I was also so supposed to receive a refund for stuff that wasn’t done and used and that’s also been a nightmare. One person says yes you’ll get a refund and then the next person has no idea what’s going on and argues saying no refunds. That department needs to be retrained completely! They have attitude, get loud with you, even hang up in your face! It’s just ridiculous. And it’s a shame that Dr Moradian would associate himself with this place…he is such an excellent surgeon I don’t know why he would work for this company who is full of employees who lack professionalism. Great doctor…horrible office!
This place has the WORST customer service and they are extremely unorganized. I waited 4 hours just to get blood drawn. Its also impossible to get ahold of anyone, especially Zasha. For months I’ve called, left messages and emailed with absolutely no response. It’s unfortunate that the doctors end up losing out because of their incompetent staff. They also only have one person in the front desk with no phone, she will literally get up and go speak to the other staff and be gone for over 20min while there is a huge line. I highly recommend 305 plastic surgery you will not go through this there.
My experience here at Avana Plastic Surgery was amazing!! Dr. Moradian was a great, he gave me the results I wanted and his bedside manners are amazing! Everyone at avana has been so kind and so helpful throughout the whole process! I followed all the guidelines and it was a smooth experience!
My girl went to get surgery and the staff at Avana was very helpful. I was lost a bit when i arrived but the customer service manager Selena helped me find my way around. She was very friendly and helpful and she gave my girl the VIP experience.
Dr Dress was great but the service I received here has been horrible. I had a mommy makeover on 03/23 (originally scheduled 03/22 but was rescheduled on that date with no notice after sitting in the surgical waiting area for over 4 hours). They are very unorganized & it’s a straight circus!!! After surgery, they wheel you out w/out even making sure that you are ok. I ended up with an infection a few days after I got home & was not able to get in touch with anyone from post op so I had to spend thousands more to have emergency surgery at home (my tummy tuck was basically reversed & I’m left with an open wound). I had emergency surgery on 04/02/21 & I have yet to get a call from post op care to follow up & its 04/21/21(FYI: unlimited post op care is included in your pricing). My local surgeon has reached out to them several times & still no response. Basically, they take your money, slice you up then send you on your way with no help. I also was supposed to receive 2 free massages but they were so booked up so I didn’t get them. I wouldn’t wish my experience on my worse enemy nor would I recommend anyone to go here!!!

Second round BBL with Dr Moradian lovingggggg the results I had nooooo butt so two rounds were needed. The office is much bigger and the customer service has definitely gotten better since my last visit for sure

The staff was friendly and accommodating and reassured me her safety and general care will be their number one priority. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!! Avana Plastic Surgery is NOTHING they claim to be! They are NOT dedicated to providing the “ultimate experience” - unless the means ultimate BAD experience!!! They make patients feel uncomfortable from the moment we first come in on procedure day. They are EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL and the staff literally makes stuff up as they go. There was absolutely NO “special feeling” or benefits before, during, or after my procedure. My results were horrible. The treatment from their staff is HORRIBLE! Just DON’T GO! Avana Plastic Surgery treats their patients like a number, like a file folder, certainly NOT a person that is paying hard earned money for good customer service and a job well done. I repeat, DO NOT GO TO Avana Plastic Surgery FOR ANYTHING! Joseline Iraheta is absolutely amazing. She was able to revise my return to work letter 3 times without any excuses and was very professional. Honestly I don’t understand why there are so many bad reviews but honestly Avana Plastic Surgery is the a great facility. My wife had surgery done this week and they did a wonderful job! The staff was super friendly and the facility super clean. The customer service Manager Selena was very helpful through the Preop, surgical, and post op process. Her infectious smile and personality made us both feel better about our experience.
Jacqeevia was a sweetheart since I walked through the door. Dr. Mameniskis did a great job with my breast lift. I look like I have implants. I had a minor complication after surgery but he has been keeping in contact with me to make sure I heal properly ❤️
If I could give them a -0 star I would. The administration team at Avana are so unprofessional and unorganized. I was suppose to have surgery on July 28,2020. After I paid my deposit, I was no longer able to speak with anyone. I had concerns about the doctor and other concerns/ questions as well. My calls, emails, and text messages went unanswered. When I would call they would either put me on hold for so long or tell me that someone would return my call. I’ve been calling since June and today is October 3,2020 (Saturday) and they just returned my call. All I want is my deposit back since they were the ones that didn’t live up to their end of the agreement. Not to mention they are still lying saying that Dr. Mameniskis is certified when his license expired in 2016. They have so many complaints against them. Their customer service being #1 and their doctors botching people comes right behind it. I didn’t want to do this but they are telling me that they won’t refund my my deposit. When I never heard from them after I paid my deposit. The lady in the refund department is a real b****. She act as if she don’t understand how screwed up their facility is. She called to give me another date. I don’t want another date. The last one past without a single phone call or message from anyone. I’m just over it. This place is definitely not worth it. Please run far away from Avana!!!! I have not met too many people who’ve had a pleasant experience with them

Loved my experience my coordinator marilolys was great with awesome communication and quick to get to any questions or doubts I had! Dr. Moradian killed it with my results and I couldn’t be happier he made me feel very comfortable prior to surgery and now super confident post surgery! I highly recommend this clinic and ask for marilolys if you have the chance !
I had been considering this procedure for many years as I wanted to desperately change the shape of my body. I considered many doctors even in different countries but at the end of the day I AM SO HAPPY that I found Dr. Moradian. He went above and beyond all of my expectations. His professionalism and bedside manners are unmatched. Also, you can clearly tell that he takes a LOT of pride in his work, as he should. I had a great experience with him, I told him what I desired and he delivered results beyond my wildest dreams. He completely changed my life and I will forever be grateful for him. My only complaints would be more on the administrative side. The first one is with my pre op coordinator, Ilianny, she was very hard to get a hold of. I had to constantly e-mail, call her, etc. And when I did call her she was hardly ever available. It was very frustrating trying to get a hold of her, even as my surgery was approaching. The second complaint, is that Avana stopped accepting CareCredit as a form of payment for most of their Drs, including mine. I was not notified of this change, I actually found out through another doll that unfortunately was affected by this sudden change and thankfully she posted a review which I read in time and I was able to prepare for the payment. However, none of these issues reflect on the amazing work of Dr. Moradian, I would recommend him in a heartbeat! The other staff members at Avana were amazing, Blanca, Elizabeth and the massage lady whose name I unfortunately forgot, were amazing. The post op nurse was truly outstanding, she even took the time to braid my hair which I thought was super sweet. I want to thank them all for their amazing and life-changing work <3

Dr. Mameniskis completed my surgery Feb 1,2022 and I could not be more happy!! I had a tummy tuck and arm and back lipo. I have three children and had three C sections. I had rectus diastasis from carrying three children, an umbilical hernia and very very loose skin under my three c section scars. Also my belly button was no where to be found. He did an AMAZING job!!! He gave me a brand new abdomen. I have no back rolls and my arms besides slight swelling are already alot smaller!!! I’m definitely going back to him!!! I’m a nurse and have seen several procedures and his tops them all!!
Sunamy my medical assistant was amazing during post op , all the support staff, they were very informative and explained everything in detail. I will highly recommend Avana to anyone looking for plastic surgery. And my Doctor Dress was the best !!!!!!

Did not really know what to expect. Of course, everyone including myself, was really nervous. The staff was super nice but I have to say, I met the new customer service manager, Selena. I believe it was her first day. She was super AMAZING. She had a a beautiful smile and immediately she made patients feel better by introducing herself to everyone and asking questions regarding their experience. Avana definitely hit GOLD by hiring her!!! She genuinely was concerned of how to make the experience better!! Thank you!
I went to Avana to get lipo and bbl and woke up with a huge burn on my right side and a burn on my left side. I’m hurt in pain and scared. I went to get a flat stomach that I can’t even show off because I now have a huge burn on my side. It has ruined my life. I’m suffering and did not ask for this. You call them to talk to someone and can’t even get thru the phone lines. Then if you do they tell you the coordinator is on another call and they will make a note to call you later that day and don’t call for days even weeks.

Let me first say that thank goodness they hired SELENA for customer service. Not only is she a beautiful woman but she makes the whole office glow with her personality and her great caring customer service! Avana is like all other plastic surgery places their busy so customer service and organization gets lost. I expressed my concerns to Selena, and she changed my entire experience. My results are amazing, I love my BBL. The surgeons and the day of surgery goes very smooth, its just the before and after that needs help. Selena is making changes there for the good! I went home knowing that she cared about my health and my feeling. Dont let me forget Kayla and the masseuse Nelsy in post op/massages and how she cares about the patients and their feelings through the process. These ladies deserve more than a raise! Not only were they all helpful but they were so knowledgeable about my post op care as well!

Two days post op from a bbl procedure with dr.Scurlock The Dr was very nice and veryyyy handsome The masseuse is amazing!!!!!! She actually gave me very information information about my aftercare from her experience Terri was very nice and has such a welcoming energy if you are scared or have any questions PLEASE ask for her she will be your best friend for the few days you are there The overall process before surgery is moderate, they will call you back but it will be an assistant not the coordinator at least that’s how it was for me. I would recommend this office tho the price is right just ask cfor the right people and be patient ????
Im so glad I didn’t listen to any of these bad reviews I had no issues with my surgery from booking to day of surgery and now that I am post op o have no complaints yes sometimes they take a little long to respond but can you imagine how busy they are with 4 doctors, dr.Mameniskis did my bbl and tummy tuck and I am so happy with my results!
So I think one of the best things that I had at Avana that was a positive experience was Dr. Moradians work. I am from out of town and my surgery was canceled and moved to the next day which was no biggie however the nightmare began during my preop appointment which they tell you to just come in anytime between nine and 12. There was around 15-20 women in the lobby no one greeted me no one signed me in. I had to ask the receptionist for help on what to do she told me to just wait I waited for 4 hours to be seen. During my preop the medical technician comes in she did give me a Covid test but I noticed she was not wearing gloves or the proper PPE. The lobby was dirty there was blood or dirty tissue in the room where my post op appt was and hair. There were tons of women crowded in the waiting areas during Covid time many of them had had their surgery or we’re just waiting there for consults they were in pain some of them had to stand because there was no room to sit down it was just not good not very organized. Many women had been waiting around for hours as I was conversing asking how long they had been there or what was going on no one at the front desk ever greets you you have to go up to them and ask them or check in because they don’t tell you what’s going on. This doesn’t make you feel too comfortable especially when you’re going to have surgery. When I had to buy a second Faja good thing I checked the size in the elevator because the girl gave me the wrong size after I told her I was an XL she gave me a double XL. I also had to go to Avana plastic surgery the day of my post off I drove because I could not get anybody to answer the phone or return my calls and my emails were not returned. I had no idea what was ever going on. I scheduled a massage and had already waited almost an hour when I asked how soon I would be seen since my appointment time had already passed they couldn’t give me an answer they just told me they were running behind this seemed like the typical answer. My last two things I had a postop appointment on Friday everything went well the doctor told me I was OK to fly when I got to frontier they did see my little drainage ball and they would not let me on the plane unless I had a doctors clearance note so here I was at the airport scrambling trying to contact the surgery center so I can board my plane there’s no after hours number to call her I was at the airport at 5 AM going to miss my flight there’s no emergency number to call nobody called me back after I left left a message. I missed my flight had to buy two new tickets for the next day and then bug the office called left messages no answer no response. I had to finally drive down there It took 3 different letters for them to get my name right it’s like they don’t pay attention to detail they don’t care. I feel like it’s quantity over quality like I said the only good thing there is the prices and the doctors work he’s one of the only reasons that I would go back because I truly felt that he connected with me he took time to talk to me more than my coordinators or the front staff and that’s just not right. Perhaps he’s just not aware of how the office is ran this office has the potential to be five stars but the staff definitely needs training and there needs to be a new management program put in place.
Experience from start to finish: The customer service was terrible. Especially after they got paid in full. Messaging was never the same. People gave you replies you wanted to hear to get you off the phone. One person would contradict another. But worst off, they’d say we will email you by X date or call you by X time and then nothing. The day before pre op: less than 24 hours out and we don’t know what time we should arrive. What the process will be. EDIT; got told about 16 hours prior to appointment what time to arrive. Pre op: waited around for quite some time, saw someone for a few mins, they told me I wasn’t even going to see the doctor. Then another person said I would. Doctor was in and out, didn’t answer any questions. Told me what size I’d be getting without telling me what they’d look like. I left the pre op without any questions answered or knowing when my appointment the following day would be for breast augmentation. Day of: was actually smoother than what reviews stated it would be. Doctor did go over some questions but the process was rushed. Surgery went well, seems like they turned out well. Worst part of the entire process, since my appointment was late we asked if we could get the prescription early so we had pills ready when I was getting ready to go and didn’t have to worry about pharmacies closing. We were told we will have medicine here. Well that was not the case. I woke up in extreme pain and my husband was handed a prescription that would take 2+ hours to fill. We went to 6 different pharmacies who said they couldn’t fill it that late. Being out of town we didn’t know where the 24 hour pharmacies were and finally found one, they processed the order and I got drugs about 7 hours after waking up. That pain was miserable and could’ve been avoided if there was more care instead of the get them in and get them out process that Avana clearly runs by. Post op: I came in, didn’t get to see the doctor, a lady came in took some pics told me it was good and to call to schedule with the masseuse. And if I wanted a post op with the doc to call. I call and they tell me they can’t schedule anything over the phone. Call again, they said they would email me. Two days later no email. I call again, they say they’ll call me. Day goes by no call. I now have to fly back and haven’t spoken to my doctor. It’s odd to be in this profession and not take pride in your work that you’d want to make sure client was happy and work was done well. Again, like many other reviews customer service was bad, and it’s very much get you in get you out. For the price and doctors abilities you’ll most likely be fine, but in the small chance you run into complications or have important questions you are screwed. Also be aware of not having drugs afterward. Be prepared. Good luck
My coordinator was Gabrielle Beauchamp and she was very responsive, kind, and organized. Getting surgery is a big decision and she put me at ease and answered all my questions and most importantly she was patient. I didn’t feel pressured or like another number on a list. I was very happy with her customer service and how she handled my on-boarding.
My experience at Avana was great. Dr.Mameniskis was excellent, the staff was friendly and I would definitely recommend.
Dr.Valladares Did an amazing job. Definitely delivered what I needed. Ligia Ysac the massage therapist provided great massages and even had some helpful pointers that I am still using . She was very nice ! Very well put establishment. 10/10 When I come back to Miami I have to come by and get one of the massages again.

The coordination team and the facility management is not professional nor do they care about you as an patient , I was instructed to arrive at 345am for my surgery upon arrival they had no idea who I was and lost my charts , I sat in lobby from 345am -6am with no resolution , It appears I was not on the official schedule and they was confused. The fact you have to build courage to even come to one of these places and turn around and they don’t even know you are or what surgery your suppose to get the day of the surgery is scary ! Need a better process and improve filing system and a better coordination team . I will be taking this legal as I waisted so much money and was not able to get my procedure due to Avana not having a clue on where my medical charts is (failure to comply with privacy act laws , and taking to legal .
So I want to thank Gabrielle Beauchamp , for her excellent customer service. She’s polite and patient as far as being a coordinator helping me book. She has no problem responding or making things happen, especially of your can reach the others. Thanks girl see ya on the flat side cause I’m booked!
If I could give 0 stars I would. The doctors are great but the customer service is horrible. Daniela has got to be the most unprofessional individual out of all of them. Once they have your money, they totally forget about you. I will be filing a formal complaint to the BBB as well. A clinic like this should not be in business. Again, nothing against the doctors but the staff at the front desk along with Daniela should be fired immediately. They do not answer the phone nor reply to emails. Please stay away from this place. You have been warned.
Long story short… I booked at Avana after researching the doctor I chose because I felt he wound be “safe” and I could achieve my body goals. Directly after surgery I had misgivings about my results and voiced them to My surgeon who assured me that after 6 months he would do a revision if I was still uneven after swelling went down, because everyone, including my nurse could see how uneven I was right off the table. I trusted him and continued to trust the process and stick to post opp care. Fast forward 10 months later and I still look the same but I feel worst because I did everything asked of me and after all that my shape is now uneven. I’ve contacted Avana numerous times requesting to speak with my surgeon but I continue to get the run around. I shouldn’t be surprised since right after making my initial payment I was treated more like a number than a patient, but I figured that had more to do with the center than the doctor and that is the only reason I proceeded to get surgery there. I’ve been treated poorly by the staff and ignored my surgeon. When I met him I thought he was genuine and would be a man of his word but Dr. Dress hasn’t called back or returned any of my calls or emails. It’s really sadhowi was done and I just pray for healing and that this doesn’t happen to others.
Everyone at this clinic treats you with care and respect. Dr. Dress has the best bed side manners I've ever seen. Great surgery center.

I just don’t understand what’s so hard for your coordinator to reach out to you. Deisy Paz is the worst of the worst. I’ve emailed, messaged, requested callbacks over 15 times and nothing yet. My surgery is scheduled in a few days and I have yet to hear from her. Like what’s so hard for you to reach out. Something needs to be done about this. They tell you not to book a flight are a place to stay until you are clear, but when do you ever know when that’s gonna be?
