I received silicone gel implants in 2012 after a major weight loss. While the clinic is very modern and I really liked the fact that he had his own surgery in the building, I never felt comfortable with the staff. After my surgery, ($8-9K) I was not properly shown how to "massage" my implants to make them drop, and was never given any of this information in the take home package. I didn't have a follow up until 10 days post surgery, and by that time, apparently the damage had been done because I wasn't properly massaging them, although I was doing it daily, I wasn't applying near enough pressure, and I am left with breasts that I find equally as unattractive as my post weight loss pre surgery breasts. I contacted the office, and went back in to see if it was fixable, and he offered to waive the surgery rental fee if I also got a tummy tuck. At this time, I felt that it was my fault that my implants looked horrible, and I agreed to get another set of implants and the tummy tuck (for 10-12K). He was "nice" enough to waive the second $100 consultation fee. After the consultation, I contacted the office for a firm price on my choice of the breast profile options that he had given me. They replied with the quote. I asked if I could pay via credit card then, and to solidify an appointment, or if it would be best if I went to the office in person, and never heard back from them, in spite of 3 follow-up emails, and one office drop-in, during which the receptionist had me wait for about 20 minutes before disappearing saying that she would be "right back". 45 minutes later, I just left, as I clearly was not considered to be worth their time. I feel incredibly disheartened by how I was treated, and have lost a lot of my confidence due to how my breasts look. I have since given up on my appearance, and my health has suffered, as I have gained back most of the weight I had lost (about 60 of the 80lbs). Don't be dazzled by his charm or high tech designer office. I cannot recommend this doctor for breast implants. I cannot comment on his other services. I'm sure he would be great if you were looking for a prescription for Latisse, which he pushed on me after my surgery.

Clinic 805 is absolutely amazing. I recently started seeing Courtney for injectable treatments, and the experience has been wonderful. Courtney went above and beyond to listen to my concerns and help develop a plan suited to my desired outcome. She provides a blend of education and friendly personal conversation, which created a relaxing environment. My results so far are perfect!! Dianne at the front desk has been my main point of contact, but all of the other ladies on the administration team go out of their way to be friendly and create a warm environment. Had my augmentation done in June 2017, the Dr and staff we're nice enough up until I paid, then never wanted to return my calls or answer my emails. Getting in contact with any post Operation info was almost impossible from them. The work was mediocre, they look well enough but for the price there is relative scar tissu with poor marksmanship done by him as I spoke to another DR about it. I've lost complete feeling of my left breast AND suffer from chronic nerve pain now and the breast cannot be touched. This was poorly explained to me before the operation and after I was too it's normal and it would go away... It's not getting worse. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this clinic, my friend had hers done by him too and her nipples don't even face right way, he's a care until you pay doctor.... My name is changed due to personal security reasons.

Also- Oak Bay consult deposit goes towards treatment. I had a fantastic professional experience at Derm spa and I love my look! All while supporting freedom of choice.

After having filler in my face at another place that was so obviously overfilled, I decided I needed to come to Clinic 805 and have an enzyme treatment to reverse the filler. Kathryn was the one that reversed the filler, and she was kind and very knowledgeable, I knew I was in expert hands. My face is back to normal now thanks to Kathryn and I couldn't be happier. The moral of the story here is you get what you pay for and do your due diligence. Not every place of business offering botox and filler has the proper education and experience. Clinic 805 and Kathryn in particular, offer exemplary services, years of experience, an eye for detail and a personal touch. I will be coming here for future services and I will be sure to recommend Clinic 805 to all my friends and family. Thank you again Kathryn, you're the best!!!!

I have been thinking for a while on how to write this review and figured I'd just tell it as it is. Dr. Smith is good at most things, however he is extremely high on himself. If something doesn't go as planned or works out he doesn't take any responsibility. He blames the clients body, healing, stretching or the actual patient. I had a couple surgeries don'e by him at the same time. Over all I was satisfied. However my areolas were extremely different sizes from day one. I kept getting the run around. At first I was told to wait 6 months, then a year. That the skin just needed to heal and stretch out on the smaller of the two. Then at the year I was told that it was gravity that did it. That over time my body stretched out. I had all the documented pictures and emails, but still I would have to spent around $2000 on top of the almost $17,000 I just spent to get them fixed. Also don't ever tell him that you are unsatisfied, or think it's unfair because he will blacklist you. His high oh mighty attitude is over the top. He thinks he can never do wrong. I'm sure they will come back with a comment along the lines like "he used the same size cutter for both areolas." I do think the 3 month wait to see him after surgery is absolutely ridiculous also. He wouldn't make any exceptions either. Thank god my family doctor is amazing and helped me through it all.

Scheduling was easy, and at the time of my appointment I was greeted warmly at reception. My procedure was quick and painless, I felt comfortable and confident in my practitioner and LOVE the results. Will be returning for tune ups as required!

Just over a month ago I had an appointment with Jana for some Botox to my forehead and eye area. I received too much BOTOX and it created a very serious 'Mr. Spock' look. I was told to come back in two weeks. I decided to go to another clinic because I had significant wrinkles in my forehead and a more prudent approach should have been used knowing the drop that would occur. I never received a follow up call and that was very disappointing considering Yana saw how I looked.

Unreliable. They cancelled my prepaid consult 2 days before, knowing that I had rescheduled a half day of my clients to make it for the appointment I was offered. Was not impressed by this and have decided to go with a different surgeon who will be more respectful of my time. At the least they did refund my consult fee after I insisted I did not intend to deal with them further.

All the staff at clinic 805 are very helpful and friendly. Shelly the dermatologist is wonderful, I have received many IPL treaments from her and it is always a pleasure to see her. Dr Smith is a very caring surgeon and the work he does is truly an art. I received a breast reconstructive procedure from him and I am extremely happy and confident with my results. The clinic is very clean and professional, I highly recommend it!

Not only is Dr. Smith the most caring and talented surgeons in Britsh Columbia, but his team is Extraordinary to say the least! I returned to the Clinic to see Cathrine who does injectables! I was more than happy with the results, and the price was extremely reasonable! She took her time with the consultation, and was very quick with the procedure! Since my visit I've had so many compliments, and my boyfriend tells me everyday how beautiful I look! I went back to see Shelly who is the skin care guru! I have been a client of Shelley's for a number of years. I started with a free consultation. Her suggestions for skin care, laser and IPL treatments were professionally presented, without pressure of buying at that time. You would never know now that I had moderate Rosacea ....cheeks that were so red as to appear almost purple, with a rash. And Yes!!!!!! I am very pleased. I am maintaining my recovery, and sun spot reduction with awesome skin care products and IPL at least 3 times a year. My skin looks fabulous.

It is with both gratitude and confidence that I recommend the surgical expertise of Dr. Ken Smith, who undertook two cosmetic procedures on my behalf: a lower neck lift and a rhinoseptoplasty. While the initial surgeries required minor revisions, I am exceedingly pleased with the results. Dr. Smith is an exacting professional, who is invested in providing the best outcome for his patient. The surgeries did much to restore my confidence. Dr. Smith managed to refine and sculpt my nose while maintaining its balance relative to my face. The lower neck lift noticeably erased years while looking completely natural. I am particularly happy with the minimal scarring, which is virtually invisible. Briefly stated, I would not hesitate to return to Dr. Smith for additional procedures.

I had liposuction on my neck and jawline (48 y/o) and I can't begin to tell you how happy I am. It's only been 1 week, but you would never even know in terms of swelling, bruising, visible marks. There were 3 "incisions" and I'm not exaggerating when I say that you cannot even see where the incision was at my ears - not because it's behind my ear, it was just below the lobe - but it's completely healed over, no mark, no pink skin - it's unbelievable. The incision under my chin, if you were to put me upside down and inspected under my chin, you would see a small slightly pink mark (a bit smaller than a pencil eraser). Thank you so much Dr. Smith and a big huge thank you to Nurse Courtney! You made the experience fantastic with your care, but also your amazing personality!

I booked an appointment 6months ago coming from the gulf islands. I arrived 1.30 mins before my appointment and sat and waited only to be told that appointments were running 1 hour to 1 and a half hours late, having come from the islands I had the last ferry to catch home and couldn't wait that time. There for I wastedn$70 ferry fees and a days wages for myself and my husband for no reason. A complete wasted journey and I will not be returning. No compensation was offered other than the offer of re attempting to go through this farse again. No thanks I will take my business to a more efficient company. Not recommended.

I've been to a few doctor's offices for the cosmedic filler Juvederm, but by far my experience at Clinic 805 was the best. Yana was wonderful; professional, gentle, and my outcome is simply natural looking, just turned the clock back a few years! Highly recommended.

I have seen Dr Smith three times to treat my hypertrophic scars. I am thrilled with the results I have been seeing. I am very thankful for him and his staff. I do not do well with needles and sometimes faint. They have been very understanding and Dr Smith has waited every time afterwords to make sure I was ok - something he did not personally need to do but did anyways. I have nothing but praises for Dr Smith and his team.

I have seen Dr. Ken Smith for over ten years now. I have had a two lift surgeries and two BA surgeries with him. I have made some personal choices and preferential changes over the years and he has always been so understanding and accommodating to me. He is kind, knowledgeable, respectful, patient and very experienced! I would not go under the knife with any other surgeon. I told Ken he is not allowed to ever retire. He is always extremely positive and realistic about what expectations I should have. I feel so comfortable with him. He truly is made to be in this job. Some things come naturally to people and this is what he was meant to do. I truly cannot say enough great things about him and his staff. Pam, Alicia, Lisa, Shelley are such wonderful ladies. They sure put your mind at ease and guide you every step of the way. I have recommended Ken to many friends and family and they have all had wonderful experiences and results because of him and his staff. You cannot go wrong if you go to this doctor. He is truly the best! :)
