I first went to see Dr.Galfant last year for my breast augmentation consultation. From the first meeting, I felt comfortable and I knew I was in good hands. I have had countless surgeries (non cosmetic) in my life and I know a good surgeon when I meet one: kind, use both sides of their brain: the science and the art, honest, knowledgable, thorough and direct. Dr. Galfant has all of these attributes. The most impressive was his decision not to go overboard on size of implant. Although I was interested in going slightly larger, I am really glad I listened to his advice and experience as I trusted what he said and I am thrilled with my result! I have ample size and going larger would have made me look ridiculous and the complications that he warned me about by going larger, was not worth the risk to my health and well being. I healed very quickly, I look fantastic and I feel wonderful. Dr. Galfant is a fantastic surgeon and his staff are very professional, personable and informative. Another wonderful character trait about Dr.Galfant is he loves dogs! That speaks volumes to me! :>)

So happy with the decision I made with Dr Gelfant for my BA surgery. I knew I wanted surgery for a really long time, the researching time was probably the hardest but seeing how many great reviews Dr Gelfant had, it was easy when it came down to narrowing the doctors I would be seeing. I had booked 3 consultations & thought for sure I would be seeing them all prior to making a final decision, however after I met with his team, I knew that I would be in good hands. I had my surgery on June 4th, 2019 and I am a bit over two months now & I couldn't be happier. Love the results so far & can't wait to see the final results once they are settled. I am happy with all the follow ups from Jessie & Kristy. They were so sweet & amazing. They always replied right away when I had questions. If I needed to go through this process again with Dr Gelfant, I wouldn't hesitate to do it all over again.

Dr Gelfant and Staff are amazing and very knowledgeable. I was searching for a perfect surgeon to do my breast lift and augmentation for over a year and a half then I stumbled upon Dr. Gelfant. I made an consultation and was surprised how quickly they got me in. No, quick doesn't mean that he is not as good or busy as other surgeons. He has a private practice and this is his main focus. Dr. Gelfant tells you his true recommendations in size and what will be best for you. He has lots of experience in what he does. I went through with my surgery and I could not be more ecstatic about the results! My breast are perfect and the scars are so minimal you can barely tell. It has been 3 months and it was the best money I have ever spent. I highly recommend Dr. Gelfant and would go right back to him if I ever needed a 2nd revision!

Having an extensive breast lift and augmentation was never something I ever thought I needed to consider as I was always a D cup until I recently lost 50 lbs and realized I was now faced with extremely sagging smaller breasts. Seeking the best plastic surgeon Vancouver has to offer was high on my list of things to do. I turned to my girlfriend who just 4 years priore had breast augmentation and squealed in delight when recommending Dr. Gelfant. The entire staff at Dr. Gelfant's office has been nothing less than professional, discreet, supportive and informative. Each visit was prompt and encouraging. Dr. Gelfant did an exceptional job in walking me thru the process, explaining the process of the breast lift, the various implants and their pros and cons as well as the healing process so I can make the best decision for me.. I chose a 300cc Ideal Implant that i'm extremely pleased with. I spent weeks researching the various implant options available.and was scared to make the wrong decision. It's been 3 weeks now and they are already looking incredible!. Tip: if you are sensitive to painkillers and narcotics, consider medicinal marijuana. You can obtain a prescription from your naturopath and purchase from a reputable medicinal dispensary. The Indica variety can act as a great muscle relaxant and can potentially reduce muscle spasms.

Dr. Gelfant is absolutely, hands down the BEST surgeon. I had went to see him twice, during a very rough time in my life. I was going through domestic violence and had very, very low self esteem. I share in my biography the reason why I initially had a surgery and I am proud to say he was my surgeon! In fact I know I have referred well over 30+ clients to him and each one has the same sentiments. He is the best, they love him and would go back. I am disheartened to read a few negative reviews; we as human beings are all different and have different genetic issues. Therefore we are not all going to look alike. Nor do we all have the same health issues or ultimately the same results as per say a friend / family member or associate. I do have to see him soon , haven’t booked but will be as there is no one else I feel more comfortable with then a professional, who set my own nerves at ease, and helped boost my self esteem through the roof. So this review is random, and to say thank you ... although almost a decade later, I am still very happy.

dr gelfant performed a lower eyelid blethoraplasty on me . he botched it. he then performed it again and it's still botched. it messed with my tear ducts so now if I tear my face swells up badly. I would not recommend him for this procedure.

Receptionist was super rude to me. I sent a follow-up email a week ago, trying to confirm my appointment date and time after the first email I received from them (A week ago) - ‘with no information about my upcoming appointment’. I finally got a response from them and got an email from them today, with my appointment time, saying I’m scheduled to come in, ‘also today’?! So with no previous warning, according to my records, they scheduled me in, without communicating to me that they scheduled me in. I emailed them back, stating that I was more or less unhappy with having to reschedule my entire day, with the lack of communication on their end. The receptionist called me, asking if I was angry. I said yes, and calmly explained my situation. She took no responsibility, and said it was my fault that I didn’t review past emails from them regarding scheduling (which I never received). So, I tried to rationally explain over the phone, ‘how can I take responsibility for something that I never received from them’... She kept cutting off what I was trying to say, being very dismissive, raising her voice, and rudely saying that I “was being aggressive”. Shocked at her comment, thinking we were going to have a calm rational discussion about scheduling and miscommunication, she finished off the conversation by basically saying that they couldn’t help me today, and they were going to cancel my appointment. I started to say something, but then she hung up the phone on me! It’s an appointment I have been waiting for, for months. I felt it was really unprofessional, and she was trying to spin it that I was the aggressor in the conversation, rather than her. Rather than hearing me out, and having a conversation with a client/customer, she rudely shut me down. Maybe she was having a bad day, but the way she just cancelled my appointment, then hung up on me in mid conversation... Not cool. Another work associate of theirs, or the HR department called me to hear my side of the story, but they ended up dismissing my points, and just sided with her anyways. Looking at the comments in this review section, I see that I’m not the only person who has had this kind of personal experience with them. Hopefully this will encourage a change of attitude within their business.

i had a wonderful experience with dr Gelfant. i have never had any kind of surgical procedures done in the past. i was not knowing what to expect and obviously a little anxious about committing to the surgery. Oct 2014 i had a BA, and was very well informed and taken care of by the dr himself and all his attending staff. i had zero complaints, complications, concerns, minimal pain in recovery and maximal satisfaction with the end result. i also understand as time elapses and my breasts heal, i will be more and more pleased with the results. i found the doctor and his staff to be excellent in both bedside manner and abilities to practice. i would recommend this doctor to anyone, as i have had nothing but a positive experience.

Best decision of my life. I only wish i had done it ten years ago. Dr. Gelfant knew exactly what i wanted and assured me without hesitation. My results were exactly what i wanted and waaaay better then my expectations. The whole process was smooth and I'm extremely grateful for Dr. Gelfant's flexibility. He adjusted his schedule to accommodate mine.... such a great doctor. Lots of follow up by himself and the girls in the office. Overall, highly recommend his work and definitely worth more than 5 stars!

The procedure I had was to remove laugh lines. It is not too common a procedure but after talking to Dr. Gelfant on the first visit. I did not even seek another surgeon after talking to Dr. Gelfant knowing with his experience, I was in good hands. The procedure went extremely well and the results were better then expected. I would highly recommend Dr. Gelfant and his staff.

Ok. So my breasts look great now, however this is because I kinda fixed them myself. I had noticably asymmetrical breasts, so when he (Dr. Gelfant) warned me it would be amplified after my surgery I took that into consideration. My mistake apparently was not asking if something could be done to compensate that, but perhaps it was because my friends telling me all the wonderful things their Dr.s did to compensate. So I made an assumption, my mistake. When figuring out size I wanted 450cc, he said "I'm not putting anything larger then 425 in you" and walked out. It was kinda rude...I shoulda taken that as a sign. Did the 9g procedure anyways. Couple weeks go by and my left breast is sitting a full 2 inches higher then my right. I was really upset and went through horrible depression. I emailed asking how this could be fixed. Said to just wait it out. I went and saw him for a check up after 12 or so weeks and he said HE COULD have brought down my left pocket and brought my right one up... So I just looked online and found a solution to bring my left breast down and they're fine now. AND my incisions are a full inch away from my crease and look dreadful. So that's another thing I'm still taking care of after a year and a half...I just dont believe Dr. Gelfant wants to do BA. probably why he charges so much. There are plenty of amazing Dr.s in Vancouver who will take better care of you. I've since met 6 girls who's dr.s I would of rather gone to.

Dr. Gelfant is the most qualified surgeon in Vancouver, his past work and credentials speak to his competence. Dr.Geflant has the ideal bedside manner I was searching for in a surgeon and when I met Dr.Gelfant I knew he was the person I wanted to operate on me. Dr.Gelfant has honesty and integrity, he is a surgeon who puts his patients care first and isn’t afraid to say no when underlying medical concerns, unhealthy motivations or unrealistic expectations are obvious. When I went for my sizing for my mastopexy ( implants/lift) I knew I wanted to go big, and I picked a size that would not be best for my overall health and desired look , ( I ended up going 405cc) Dr .Gelfant will only do operations in which he can achieve optimal results, he is an excellent surgeon and will only recommend a procedure if you’re a good candidate, he is genuinely invested in your well-being. I choose to go with the Ideal implant, which I view as the best implant, and only a limited number of surgeons can offer it. I would give my overall experience 10/10. I was very scared going into the operation, as it was my first surgery, Dr.Gelfant really made me feel safe and well taken care of before I went in, and his team is top notch. Dr. Gelfant has a contact line where you can reach him 24/7, I even called him on Christmas eve to ask him questions about my medication, and he was there for me, regardless of the holiday. When I saw the results of my surgery on the day after in my post -opt I was in tears, his work is so clean, my results were everything I was hoping for, and more. I’m 5 weeks post-opt now, and I’m so in love with my results, the healing process was a breeze, and my scars are hardly noticeable at only 5 weeks. I’m just blown away by my overall experience, I would highly recommend Dr. Gefalnt to any family member or friend.

Upon meeting him, I knew right away he would be my surgeon. He walked me through the process, what I could expect, and what I could not expect. There was no gray area. He made me feel very comfortable that I was going to receive the best possible outcome. He listened to my concerns, answered all of my questions, and treated me with respect. Gelfant patient back in jan 2009 for breast augmentation.. staff was excellent and professional from consultation to recovery room and follow ups.. we’ll here I am 9 years later and my breast look as amazing like the first day I got them.. no sagging,complications and no capsular contracture never had any problems .. I love love what a great job he did, I did get 32dd cohesive gel low profile.. a friend of mine recommended me to him and that friend has had her same saline implants by dr.
