The staff was great and I felt very welcomed. I had otoplasty for my protruding ears. I explained to him the way I wanted it but he kept saying it's not going to look natural. I decided to go with him and I did the surgery and it looked great in the beginning, specially my right ear because I had a cup ear. However when it started to heal it only looked like it got a slightly better. Went back to him and he did it again because he saw how it made a small difference. The second time he did it again but didn't do anything at the top of my ears like I told him. It's a lot better but overtime the stitches weaken. Now its been a year and honestly 5k for 20 min of poor work he did does not sit well. He seems like a good doctor for other surgerys but otoplasty I would not recommend.

After an abdominoplasty, I was 6 months post surgery and i discussed an overabundance of tension and was unable to straighten my posture. I was told to keep stretching. After 1 year post surgery, i started having uncomfortable back pain and could still not straighten my posture. I booked a follow up appointment and was minimized. After seeing various physicians, the only possible explanation was due to my abdominal surgery. When i made another follow up call to get a copy of my file, i was told there was no file under my name. I ended up finding my file at the location of my surgical procedure. The next surprise was that there were no surgical notes. My family physician even contacted his office and was told I was never seen. Even more interesting, is that I have receipts on clinic letterhead, my before photos(I never received the after photos) as well as my file, without surgical notes. Effectively, I would have to undergo exploratory surgery so they could figure out what was done! Chronic pain in my back and neck for the rest of my life.

Poor result the first time around... I required revision surgery, and the results were still not great after all that. Second surgery I was given a local which didn't work and felt the cuts and stitching. I was treated as an inconvenience. NO bedside manner - avoid.

I am afraid that I cannot add my positive feedback to Dr. Van Wyck's list. I found him personable but I cannot describe the final result as anything but a disaster. The scars are horrendous and there are skin puckers on both sides of my breasts. Additionally, I was told that there would be some loss of sensation in the area but there is a complete loss of sensation. Finally, some stitches that I was told would disolve on their own had to be cut out manually a few MONTHS after the scars had healed. I would strongly recommend you all avoid this doctor.

As soon as I walked into Dr. Van Wycks office I felt so welcomed by the receptionist and the waiting room was flawless. It was great up until I met Dr Van Wyck, he walked into the patient room and did not shake my hand, nor did he say hello. His professionalism was disturbing and he did not listen to me, he asked me several times to repeat myself because he was talking over me. It was not the experience one should encounter with a doctor. I do not recommend him at all. It's a shame because his team was unbelievably great.

I recently had otoplasty on a protruding ear that has bothered me all of my life. The procedure went very well, and I healed quickly with no issues. One week later I have two normal ears. Thanks Dr. Van Wyck. Also, the staff were very professional and friendly to deal with.

Great doctor like always always ..What a nice experciences with dr lioyd van wyck and alexis ...i really appreciate his precise surgeries he did for me! ..i did otoplasty and rihnoplasty at his clinc and i have wonderfull ears at the moment and left and right looks the same and level .. as well my nose looks much better and dent disappeared completely .i have achieved the look that i was dreaming for since long years ago and im so greatfull to him and his team amazing team ...god bless this doctor and i wish best luck for him .. ????
