I am a physician who was seeking a facelift. I had a facelift done 12 years ago and I was referred to Dr. Guyuron by a plastic surgeon in my area. I was thrilled with the results at that time and when it came time to have a second facelift this year, I had no doubt that I wanted him to do the procedure. I am now 6 weeks post op from my second facelift and I am even happier with the results this time. I had fat transplanted into my cheeks this time in addition to usual facelift procedure. It came out FABULOUS! it was very natural looking and symmetrical. I also had a facial laser procedure for skin rejuvenation and removal of aging brown spots. It came out wonderfully well. I would highly recommend Dr. Guyuron. 5 stars!!

My name is Sandy and I would like to share my story with the purpose of bringing hope to those that have been disfigured and left traumatized by a plastic surgeon. My ordeal began when I had a car accident in which my nose became very crooked. The only way to fix my nose was through surgery, so In August of 2018 I decided it was time to take that step. I did my homework and chose a triple board certified doctor in my hometown of Las Vegas, NV. We agreed that my nose would be straightened and symmetry improved. To my horror, what I got was a botched surgery that completely devastated my life for over a year. This doctor completely annihilated my nose. He removed so much cartilage that my nose was disfigured , caused my nasal passages to cave in , injected my nose with fillers to disguise some of the damage , by the way which was done without my knowledge or consent, and above all, I lost the ability to breathe through my nose. For a whole year straight I had to live with flu like symptoms, anxiety and grief because my nose was not working properly. It was a complete nightmare!! I sought help for reconstructive surgery but many doctors turned me away. My final attempt was going to be a plastic surgeon in California. I had prayed and asked God to please open the path to the right doctor. The california surgeon could not help me, but he referred me to Dr. Guyuron. This california doctor assured me that my prayer had been answered because Dr. Guyuron would be able to help me. Thank God this was so true! My first consultation with Dr. Guyuron was through Skype. He was very knowledgeable ,compassionate, pleasant, and he never made me feel uncomfortable. He assured me that everything was going to be alright and the he was going to help me. I cant describe the overwhelming feeling of hope I felt once I got done talking to him. My reconstructive surgery was finally going to happen! About 2 months later I flew to Cleveland for surgery. I was very impressed by their process in preparation for surgery. You will first meet with a professional photographer at their clinic. They have a small photography studio there. They will prepare before and after pictures for your first meeting with Dr Guyuron. The following day you will meet with Dr Guyuron to go over proposed changes. On the third day, SURGERY!! I have to say that I was also very pleased by the facility where they perform surgery. Everyone is extremely friendly, you will have a private bed and you will be greeted by his awesome team and Anesthesiologist. After surgery, they will follow up on you and if you have any questions after hours, they will definitely get back to you. I had a concern and called in the middle of the night and I received a call back within minutes. My whole experience from start to finish was nothing short of amazing. I am now 3 months post surgery. My breathing was restored and my nose looks amazing even though its still a little swollen. I can't say enough how grateful I am for the new chance I was given to breath again, to smell, to sleep..... Thank you Dr. Guyuron!! Sincerely Sandy

Went to see Dr. Guyuron for the first time the other day to discuss issues I was having and a deformity with my nose. It’s very stressful not being able to breathe right and also hurts your self esteem with a deformity as well. I never met such warm, caring understanding professionals. I have suffered from migraines for more than 15 years. I have tried everything in the book from therapies to medications with no cure. Topamax was the closest relief for me for many years until it built up in my system and became toxic to me. I lost all my hair and had horrific side effects. Through a friend, I heard about Dr. Guyuron's migraine surgeries. I had two migraine procedures and they have changed my life. I was able to come off of all my migraine medications and was discharged from my Neurologist. I rarely get a headache anymore. Dr. Guyuron is the real deal. If you are a migraine sufferer, his procedures work. He truly gave me my life back, and for that, I'll be forever thankful.

I got double eyelid surgery here because my eyelids were uneven. When I first got my surgery it was corrected but after about 2 months my eyelid went back to how it was in the beginning. I reached out to him and he told me that it looks fine and that it looks good. Trust me, I wouldn’t just be contacting him for the fun of it. My eyelid was not even anymore and I was very unhappy since I spent thousands of my hard earned money on the surgery. I was supposed to go back after one whole year since surgery but I did not want to because it’s really a waste of my time if he’s just going to ignore my problems about my eyelid. I should have went to someone else to get the surgery and it wasted so much time and money all for nothing. I saw another review where a woman was also unhappy with her surgery results and she also said he tried denying everything and made it seem like it was all in her head. It is my body and it’s my money that I spent on the surgery. If I don’t like it, I should be able to voice that and figure out a solution. I also heard he makes you pay for another correction surgery so it’s really a waste of time and money. Now I have uneven eyelids just like from the start and I’m very unhappy. Please don’t go to him for plastic surgery.

I had surgeries with Dr. Guyuron in 1988 and 1989 to reconfigure my cheek bones, skull,eyebrow, eyelids after a terrible tumor had destroyed my eye and the surrounding areas. The tumor was removed in 1969 but I was told then that the technology did not exist at that time to reconstruct everything and that I should wait until it advanced. Having the surgeries with Dr. Guyuron changed my life. No one notices my eye situation anymore and it is such a blessing. Everyone who knows I had surgery compliment how natural and great it looks and everyone who doesn’t know make comments about how great I look! The entire process was smooth. I am able to breath much, much better. I haven’t had a stuffy nose since before the procedure and I used to get cold like symptoms for weeks on end (I had sinusitis pre surgery). I had been suffering with migraines almost daily for nearly 5 years. After seeing numerous doctor's, taking untold medications, suffering through nerve blocks, ablations, Botox injections and 3 surgeries, nothing helped. I had to quit my job and go on disability. Dr. Guyuron saved my nose I am eternally grateful to Dr. Guyuron for literally saving my nose. After a very bad accident with MRSA about ten years ago, several other surgeons had tried to salvage my nose, to no avail. A few of those surgeries (by doctors who claimed to know what they were doing, but in fact didn’t) made things worse. When I moved to New York, I consulted with a few top rated plastic surgeons who all said they did not dare to touch my nose which required extensive reconstruction, i.e. more than just cosmetic work. A couple of them honestly admitted that they did not have the skills and experience and highly recommended Dr. Guyuron. By the time I saw him, my nose was deformed and I had problems breathing. Dr. Guyuron was very patient in managing my expectations and in explaining the process of how he was going to salvage it (staggered surgeries). The internal bone structure and septum were badly damaged, he needed to use my own fat, ear and rib cartilages in several surgeries over two years. There was almost no pain and each surgery improved my nose. I love his staff - Doreen, Mary, Tracy and all others. They are very caring and professional. I had to fly in from NY for each surgery and was well taken care of with nursing care and logistical support. Undoubtedly, Dr. Guyuron is an extremely skilled surgeon, his knowledge and skills are unparallelled. Now, I have a nice nose; I love the structure of it, and I can properly breathe again. I don’t think any other doctor could have done what Dr. Guyuron did for my nose. Other doctors who have seen my current nose have said the same.

Dr. Guyuron is the best! I am so glad I made the 12 hour bus ride to Cleveland, Ohio to see Dr. Guyuron for the consultation. Dr. Guyuron listened to what I said very carefully and clearly understood what I wanted during my consultation visit. He looked me in the eye and told me he can get the job done. I sent him countless emails after the consultation visit and Dr. Guyuron replied to each one. Dr. Guyuron is a very kind man and an excellent surgeon. My nose right now is beautiful looking and straight. It's been almost 2 years since my surgery and I am still in love with my nose. It's holding up great guys!! I have had a great experience with Dr. Guyuron and I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr guyuron is a butcher! He was supposed to redo a graft .instead he causes the z-plasty to fall out like a trap door,as was stated by dr. Zinns chief of plastic surgery at the cleveland clinic. Dr. Pederson in Akron saw his work and stated what happened to your face are you in litigation! guyuron refused to see me again, of course he already was paid in advance. After many years of suffering and searching I found a dr at UPMC.that was able to repair his mess.Dr. guyuron belongs in prison not on the faculty of University hospital!

For me personally Dr. Guyuron was not a good pick. The facial surgery outcome has felt discouraging to me. It doesn't look subtle or natural, imo. I saw another surgeon that noted what was done in surgery years back by Dr. Guyuron, before I even mentioned to that surgeon that I had had this surgery at all. That is not a hallmark of good facial surgery, imo. It looks too obvious to me. In several consultations surgeons offered to try to improve and so I have tried to remedy what I felt was a not good result, but it has cost a lot of money. I was taken aback by the communication with Dr. Guyuron in addition. Dr. Guyuron will respond to your questions. But when I pointed out I had some concerns his response suggested to me that this was in my mind. As if it was just me who was seeing this. As I thought he was a famous surgeon, I took his word for it that this looked good, and I tried to move on. But I kept feeling embarrassed about the result, and as it turned out: this was not just something I envisioned. I read some of the court records of the lawsuit of Dr. Guyuron against his former patient. In a recent motion asking for a summary judgement, his counsel included an email from Dr. Guyuron to his patient. In the letter Dr. Guyuron tells the patient that he is checking up to see how she is doing. In different wording he writes he is not just writing her about her (negative) review, but also to see how she is doing, since he checks up on his patients in general to see how they are doing. I can tell you: he never checked up on me in these years. And when I tried to ask him about the outcome of surgery and the worry I had about it in a respectful email, my concerns were quickly set aside imo. After so much money spent on this I have felt sad often about this surgery.

Dy.Guyuron is terrible he is very rude as is his staff. He does not care about his patients. I had surgery on my nose and chin and he said it would only take one surgery and I would be recovered in about a month. I have lumps from scar tissue all over this area that I was not told about and he said I will have to have another one or two surgeries to correct this and I will have to pay for it. He does not care if he tells you one surgery and it takes several to correct what he did. He gets paid for it.

Dr. Guyuron performed a facelift, under eye and neck lift - I’m a 45 y.o. male and work in financial sales. Minimal scarring and a seamless transition back to work and in front of scrutinizing clients was key. I am so happy with the results. I wasn’t looking to chase my youth, but rather I felt my face “leaving me” as it fell and dropped in a way that really aged me and made me look grumpy and tired. I really feel like I got “me” back, seeing the person I had started to forget. Dr. Guyuron gave me a second chance at my life with my chronic migraine 10 years ago today. This is my 10 year anniversary of leaving ENT performed sinus surgeries to his expertise. He had an idea about my turbinates that were sutured to my septum acting as tree branches that were on fire causing the whole tree to be on fire (my septum). He was right. He warned me of the possibility of empty nose syndrome. I trusted him and had surgery. Luckily, no empty nose syndrome. I was stuck at a level 8 migraine that went to a level 10 multiple times a week (lots of ER visits and my neurologist to this day saving me time after time, without any hope of resuming my life at 23). I can never thank Dr. Guyuron enough for saving my life. I still have chronic migraine, but this talented surgeon brought my chronic level to a 4 with level 8-9 severe migraines 2-3 times a month. I have a plan in place with my neurologist that keeps me out of the ER. I have graduated from college and own a business in the mountains. THANK YOU!

Then he made a plan for the surgical treatment that would relieve my migraine pain from which I had suffered for over 30 years. Dr. Guyuron preformed temple migraine surgery on me 3 weeks ago today. While I understand the final results from my surgery are yet to be determined, I'm pleased thus far. Minimal incisions and post-op pain. No migraines since surgery, and fewer "normal headaches". The Doc's surgical skills are second to none. Almost robotic! We would recommend Dr. Guyuron to anyone experiencing 15 or more migraines per month. I am very disappointed with the neurological portion of the health industry for cataloging these procedures as experimental. None of the 25+ neurologist we saw could do anything for my wife. They tried everything known to them and it did not work. The only person with a procedure that worked was Dr. Guyuron.

I have highest respect to Dr. Guyuron and his wonderful and caring staff. They have acted very professionally in all levels from the initial visit, through examination, pro-op and during operation and post post operation. Dr. Guyuron is one of the rare and exceptional physician that I have met in my long life. His approach is so assuring and pleasant that makes the patient feel very comfortable and in ease. That staff and nurses behave very professionally that patient feels they are like their close relatives, their beautiful small is really pleasant and friendly. Do not migraine surgery! I became worse after the surgery. Do not trust the surgery. Because surgery wasn't the cure for migraine. Who will heal me now? I wish I never had the surgery.
