For years I have thought about breast augmentation. I did my research and I found Dr. Shenker and his amazing staff at The Cosmetic Surgery Clinic. walking in to the beautiful establishment was breath taking. So clean and beautifully decorated. Made me feel like I was at home. I felt so welcomed and comfortable as soon as I walked in the door. Starting with the friendly front desk staff! Then I met the patient coordinator Jenna Fletcher. She was so patient and caring. I asked a ton of questions, of course, and not once did she make me feel silly or that I was being annoying. Nope, she smiled the whole way, had a beautiful personality with a wonderful sense of humour. But on top of that she was so professional. Then the “Magic Man” walked in. Dr Shenker! He was very much the same. Super friendly and took his time with me. All my questions were answered. Not only did he take his time but he also saw me more than once to talk about ALL my options. He gently helped me make the perfect decision regarding all aspects of breast augmentation. Leading up to surgery day I was being contacted by the staff letting me know how to prepare and any other questions were answered. Surgery day was when I met the nursing staff. And I feel bad I don’t remember their names, but being nervous they really helped me stay calm and they were very reassuring. I was chatting with a lovely lady who told me about her experience with Dr Shenker. She said I was in excellent hands and I certainly was!!!! On the operating table the one nurse held my hand and stoked my hair! Chatting and keeping the energy light and relaxed. Then before I knew it I was in the recovery room! Yes there was pain when I went home during recovery but it didn’t last long and I was contacted that night by a nurse to see how I was doing. The next few days I was in the clinic being checked again and lots of communicaton to make sure eveything was proceeding well. I just had my year check up and it was just a wonderful appointment. I was again greeted like an old friend. Dr. Shenker actually came in the room singing! Would I recommend the Cosmetic Surgery clinic in Waterloo? Oh yes 110%!!!!! Thank you to the surgical team nurses, anesthesiologist, and Dr Shenker. I walked in feeling nervous but after speaking with the staff they were quickly to make me feel comfortable and made me laugh. The nurses held my hand even turned on the tunes I wanted to fall asleep to. They went the extra mile for sure. I'd definitely be more than happy to return there.

I can't say enough about Dr. Shenker and his team! Every single person on Dr. Shenker's team was absolutely incredible! The entire team made me feel comfortable and well cared for. I had a breast lift, implant replacement and abdominoplasty done all at once. I am still recovering but am already seeing fantastic results and am thrilled seeing my body return it's pre-birth look. From my consultation, to surgery to recovery I have always felt the team and Dr. Shenker took the time to make sure I was comfortable with every aspect of the surgery and answered all of my questions. I saw Dr. Shenker 2 years ago for a BA procedure, and I couldn't be happier - with the results, with the care he provided, and with how I feel. I had consultations with other surgeons and chose Dr. Shenker for many reasons, mainly because I felt like I could trust him. He answered all my questions and made himself available to me before and after the procedure. I still see him annually for a follow-up and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone considering a procedure.

Another superlative surgical experience with the wonderful Dr. Shenker and his fabulous team! Wow isn't an adequate word to describe my experience under the care of Dr. Shenker and his caring staff. I required a revision surgery due to an incredibly poor experience with another local surgeon. From my first interaction with the clinic (a phone call I initiated requesting information, describing my concerns and fears and explaining my hesitancy regarding the revision), to pre-operative procedures and follow-up appointments, I was amazed by the compassion and professionalism exhibited by this practice. Dr. Shenker was punctual (even early), compassionate and provided me with confidence to proceed with my surgery. ALL details were outlined by Dr. Shenker and Jenna and any questions I had were answered promptly, thoroughly and accompanied by written literature. The day of surgery was handled beautifully - the nurses were calming, knowledgeable and compassionate. My surgery was done on the premises and no detail was overlooked - warming blankets, the convenience of medication delivered to the facility and detailed follow-up instructions. Staff were consistent with checking in and were friendly and thorough. Dr. Shenker and his team were able to restore my self confidence and I can not recommend them highly enough.

I don’t even know how to start this. The most amazing experience I have had literally anywhere. I wish I could afford to have more done just to go back and see them. Between Lauren and Jenna being available 24/7 pretty much answering all my silly crazy questions and making me still feel like a human to dr.shenker and his surgical team on the day of surgery making things fun and exciting. Last year I was in hospital and had a surgery where I needed 3 heparin shots a day in the stomach that hurt so bad when they brought out the shot, here on day of surgery I had a panic attack and they held my hand through it put it in and I did not feel a single thing! And then my iv I have always had trouble with and the day of surgery omg didn’t even know it was in. They tend to you like your the only one in the entire world! You don’t feel ignored or silly . I had quite the surgery and I was literally smiling ear to ear when I woke up and I hadn’t even seen myself yet. The next day I went back and they took my garmets off and I cried literally balled when I saw the new me and what dr. SHENKER and his team had done for me. Absolutely amazing and unbelievable. The nicest most respectful thoughtful team as an entire office I have ever met. I will be going back for anything I need and I will be referring any and all who need anything done! Thank you dr.shenker and entire team at the office for becoming what feels like a family environment to me. You made me feel absolutely so important and never a bother! Dr Shenker is absolutely amazing ! He is kind and caring ... even when I was out of sorts with upset and anxiety. His staff are phenomenal as well. He took my bad situation and made it more tolerable with his special bedside manner. I would recommend him to everyone.

I just recently had a breast reduction surgery done and I am 5 weeks post-op! I couldn't be happier with my results so far! The staff was great and Dr. Shenker has an amazing spirit and a super talent! I highly recommend and only wish I did it sooner!

Hello, I'm here to talk about this practice. Dr shenker is a great surgeon and I'm sure he helps a lot of people out. But I'm here to review, and I don't usually review about anything. If you are a male and you have painful gynocomastia, this is covered under health care. Dr. Shenker wanted me to pay $6,700 Plus tax for this operation. That's not small money we're talking about. He could've in all honesty said, go to your doctor, and do this through health care. I've directly emailed their practice to, why would you not tell me. Nobody emailed me back. I was so close to paying $6,700 until I find out it's covered under health care. If you are a male, and you have painful gynocomastia, go see your doctor. You will save $6700. If you've paid dr.shenker $6700 and didn't know about our health care, then complain. This isn't right Dr.Shenker.

Wow wat a horrible experience I had with this clinic even though I haven't went it yet . I called for a consultant for a breast implant in May 2017 they charged me $100 dollars to hold my spot . So when my day came I couldn't go in for a consultation so I called them the same day to inform them I can't come in because my sister is in labour and if I can get my refund of the $100 back they say no ! Wow I was in disbelief because i happen to go check they website and found there cancellation policy on there web site stated that u should call them with in 48 hours to cancel or reschedule an appointment . But if u don't meet those criteria for not calling within the 48 hr and need to rebook the appointment they will be a fee of $100 to reschedule for ur next consultation appointment. So I'm a a little confused. At my first phone call to book my appoint I should not even been charge for the $100 dollars at the first place because they say on the website the $100 dollars will only be require if u need to rescheduled ur first appointment. So I asked Krista the girl who works there to give me a explanation. Why they charge me the $100 on my first phone call? She say she don't know why I was even charge and that she is sorry ! I keep arguing with her that is not fair wat U guys did to me charging me on the first appointment so she told me to hold on and see wat she can do . Then she came back on the phone to tellme that they changed there policy and that they don't know why the website is not updated ! Are u for real? Even when I first called them to book the appointment the girl didnt once so ever inform me that I need to call 48 hr ahead if I need to cancelled or rescheduled my appointment .I also explained that to Krista she once again don't understand why that happen?are u kidding me? How can someone working there have no glue wat they are doing? So why are they even working there then? Any how the First girl when I first called to book the appointment was really quick at asking me for my credit call number and charge me the $100 dollars that day ! Oh will stupid me so quick giving it to her too ! But hey I rattle loose that $100 dollars that they keep fighting and refuse to refund me even though it was their fault rather then I went with the surgery and if something were to go wrong i think they won't even fix it for me . That is more serious then $100 dollars so I care any less . Like they say everything happen for a reason so I truly believe that my sister went into labour today and that I have to cancel the appointment for a reason ! I will never in a million refer this clinic to anyone ! As u can tell it's only $100 dollars and it's there fault and they still refuse to do me a refund and like I say before can u image if something to go wrong with the implant u think they care? And u think they will fix it for u ? I don't think so ! If u girls are seriously thinking about going here to get ur breast done pls think twice ! Im in search of a new surgeon in Toronto .I m glad I didn't get my implants done here . Thank you God ???? Amen!
