Dr. Ponsky changed my life. I am a year post op of rhinoplasty and septoplasty to fix my deviated septum. I can breathe through both sides of my nose, something I hadn't been able to do since I was 13!! Not only did she make me be able to breathe, but she perfected my nose. She had also fixed the bump on my nose and you'd never in a million years be able to tell I had a "nose job". It's straight, and little, and perfect. Dr. Ponsky, Shelly and Meredith: I believe these women can do anything! This office runs like a well oiled machine. Dr. Ponsky has performed three procedures on me in the past two years. Procedures require follow-up visits as well. Therefore I have visited Dr. Ponsky's office many, many times and indeed it is like the movie Groundhog's Day. The office has the same sweet rhythm every single time I visit. I am greeted like a friend. Shelly is smiling and waving. Meredith then comes out from the side room glowing the way Meredith does. We say hello, we catch up, Meredith takes me to a procedure room, and my appointment begins. Meredith always, always has the room prepped for my appointment. She photographs me, I think it is for her personal collection however it is for insurance purposes, then Dr. Ponsky comes in. She is prompt, perky, and very professional. Clockwork. Dr. Ponsky reviews the paperwork, draws on my face, shows me what she is going to do, explains the procedure step-by-step to me, makes sure I am completely comfortable with what she is doing, and she proceeds to make the magic happen. I have had my nose fixed, Juvederm in my smile lines, and Volume in my cheeks. Nothing major at all. Nothing unusual. I am certain Dr. Ponsky does these same procedures all week long however she doesn't do them all week long to me. She has done them once in her life and once in my life to me. And that is how I felt when each procedure was performed. Dr. Ponsky was completely focused on me every single minute of every single appointment. Not one time was her cell phone ringing or was she pulled out of an appointment or did she leave me sitting in the procedure room waiting for her. It was due to her caring and her respect for me, as a person first and then as patient, that I felt comfortable enough to try the Juvederm and the Volume.

There I was. Lying back on a chair with my daughter in law, knife in hand, about to cut my face. I was hoping I had been a good mother in law because if not, I was in big trouble. Let me give you a little history. Here I was, a 73 year old woman, pretty much confined to my house because of COVID. Every day after I got washed in the morning, I would look in the mirror. No need to put on make up. I’m not going anywhere. My face is definitely looking old. I’m starting to wrinkle up like the fruit in my refrigerator. My daughter in law, Dr. Diana Ponsky, a facial plastic surgeon, was visiting me. Here’s how it went. With a bit of a chuckle I said, “Is there anything you can do to make me feel and look better? In one second she pointed to my eye lids and upper lip. “I can do a lift in my office. Everyone’s skin droops as they age.” While thinking I was crazy, I said, “Sure. Why not?” Next thing I knew, I was in her office ready to do something I half thought was crazy. Why at this depressing time and at my age, would I do this? Do I really care? For a few days, I looked swollen and black and blue. The good news was that if I went anywhere, I wore a mask. Then, after the stitches were out, I looked at myself in the mirror! I LOVED WHAT I SAW. No dramatic change, but when I saw myself in the morning, I kept staring. For the first time in a long time, I felt better looking at myself, not worse. This was just for me. No one else. I felt that my aging face went back in time. Not for anyone else. Just for me. Thank you, Diana for putting a smile on my face every morning during such a crazy hard time.

Today marks four months from my nasal septoplasty with rhinoplasty procedure to correct my deviated septum, bridge reduction and nose straightening. I couldn't be happier with the results! Thanks to Dr Ponsky's explicit instructions including proper diet, rest, sleep position, etc. I had minimal bruising and swelling. I was able to breathe freely and felt great within a week of the procedure. What I really like about Dr Ponsky is that she truly cares about post surgery follow-up appointments to ensure everything is healing correctly. The Beachwood, OH office is amazing and you will find that the staff is very accommodating. I've never waited more than a few minutes in the waiting room to be seen. SO thankful for last year’s referral to Dr. Jonathan Frankel! In late 2019 I experienced a horrific spider bite injury on my forehead which ultimately left a very noticeable pockmark-like crater between my brows. : O Now, six months after my procedure, healing is nearly complete and I’m still amazed that it was possible to restore the area to look as if nothing had ever happened! Dr. Frankel is highly skilled with an extremely gentle and reassuring “chairside manner” — despite a tendency to get claustrophobic I felt completely comfortable during the procedure and related visits. Just had a revision rhinoplasty by Dr. Ponsky and I CAN’T STOP SMILING!! Dr. Ponsky is one of the most thorough doctors I have ever met. I knew I wanted to have her do my revision right away. She already has a tremendous background in rhinoplasty & revisions, but she also wants to know exactly what you are wanting & will go over it with you multiple times to make sure you are both on the same page, we even FaceTimed once to chat about it. I had my first rhinoplasty 5 years ago by a different plastic surgeon and it’s hard to explain but I NEVER liked it.. and I always thought I looked too different and not like myself because he had done a couple things I didn’t love or even ask for around the tip of my nose. I also ended up with a collapsed nostril (not noticeable on the outside) and had a harder time breathing out of the left side. Luckily Dr. Ponsky is also trained as an ENT and knew exactly what she was looking at immediately. I was told by that first surgeon that I was risking a collapsed nose if I did a revision and that it wouldn’t be worth the expense (revisions are typically more expensive). I am so glad I seeked out a second opinion. Please do not make the same mistake that I did by seeing a plastic surgeon who you think might be more affordable.. you just might be spending more money in the end by needing a revision. If you are in Ohio I highly suggest seeing Dr. Ponsky, she is fantastic and made me feel like myself again! She also had a tremendous staff!!

Most of my family are in the medical profession including a plastic surgeon. So when my husband I moved here under one year ago, he needed to see a plastic surgeon and an ENT surgeon for nasal surgery. We didn't know HOW to find the best possible doctors and we were very worried about where to go00especially the plastic part. DR. DIANA PONSKY, Plastic surgeon and Dr. Kevin Rodriguez, ENT surgeon were exemplary in their care and concern for my husband as a patient and both coordinated surgery--on the same day --one after another. We were very happy with both. DR. PONSKY is a true artist!!!! She had to build my husbands nasal opening from cartilage and took her time to fashion a BEAUTIFUL arch, repair of the septum and opening for air flow in his nostrils. Even Dr. Rodriguez, ENT said, (and I agree), that " to do what she did requires such a high medical IQ --her work is phenomenal". We are so blessed to have found her... She is beautiful inside and out.

To begin, I had TWO botched septorhinoplasty surgeries and was very nervous about getting a third revision. I thought my nose was just something I would have to live with. Turning 30, I decided it was time to revisit the issue that’s bothered me for years. I did a year of research and went to several consultations with very well known providers around the greater Cleveland area and was even looking into traveling out of state. Dr. Diana Ponsky won me over with her caring demeanor and very impressive surgical background! I also felt that a female surgeon would better suit my needs. I instantly felt a connection with her and her office. Her entire staff is LOVELY and so accommodating. Everyone was so patient with me through the process and to this day I feel like the most important person any time I visit the office or call. I had my surgery with Dr. Ponsky and could not be happier. The surgery center and staff eased all my anxiety going into surgery and I KNEW I was in the very best hands. Dr. Ponsky even personally called me multiple times to check on me throughout my healing process. My septum is no longer deviated and for the first time ever I can comfortably breathe through my nose! No more snoring! Aesthetic wise, I cried tears of joy when my cast came off as I NEVER dreamed my nose (after two botched surgeries) would look this good. It’s better than the pictures. To whoever is reading this review looking for a surgeon, please at least go see Dr. Diana Ponsky for a consult!!!! She truly changed my life for the better and I would not trust anyone else with my complicated nose. I was 15 minutes early, completed the paperwork that should have been sent to me ahead of time and isolated in a room at my appointment time. After waiting alone for 20 minutes, with no one updating me, I decided I was not going to be treated like this and left. I went to Dr. Ponsky for a deviated septum, chronic sinus issues, and rhinoplasty. As someone with underlying health issues, it was very reassuring that she was equally knowledgeable and concerned about how the surgery would impact my health and breathing, as she was about aesthetics. I was nervous to get plastic surgery but am very happy with the results. Dr. Ponsky is skilled. She doesn’t do a one size fits all nose. She made my nose look natural but more refined and most importantly I still look like me. I am able to breathe out of both nostrils now which is huge for my health. Our son had severe facial trauma requiring 2 different surgeries. Dr. Ponsky explained the entire procedure and was very reassuring. I am sure we don't know everything Dr. Ponsky did behind the scenes to make his surgery happen so quickly from moving her equipment to the hospital since he needed to be hospitalized after the surgery, assembling her surgical team, and doing the surgery on her day off, we were amazed. She called us after we were home from the hospital to see how he was doing since it was a complicated surgery. When we tell people about his accident they cannot believe it because there are no visible scars. He looks exactly like he did before the accident which is a miracle. We are thankful we were led to Dr. Ponsky because we don't believe anyone else could have done what she did to heal our son. Dr. Ponsky is truly a gifted surgeon we are blessed to know.

Dr Ponsky's staff are full of energy and very friendly. They are extremely personable, and worked to ensure that I felt comfortable and had everything I needed (down to a blanket during the procedure). Dr Ponsky is thorough, sweet, and gentle in her explanations. She made sure to explain the answers to each of my questions and I never felt rushed/forced to make a decision. I love the fact that we could do the entire procedure under local anesthesia. The procedure went just as explained and Dr Ponsky talked me all the way through each step, telling me what I would hear, and feel in the way of tugs or suture threads that may lay on my face momentarily. She took extra care to ensure that the issues that I had with my eyelids (I had upper blepharoplasty) were addressed perfectly! Day one I had some pain, about a 3 on a scale of 0 to 10 and from day 2 forward there was no pain. The bruising was minimal, about a 1.5 on a 0 to 10 scale. The results are fabulous!! 11 on a 0 to 10 scale. The picture I'm uploading is without makeup (before and after). It is day 7 today and I just had the stitches removed today. I love the results and HIGHLY recommend Dr. Ponsky for your facial plastic surgery needs. She is THE BEST...hopefully this picture speaks a thousand words on her behalf!

I have never written a review but I felt compelled to do so in hopes that my experience with Dr. Frankel at Ponsky & Frankel Facial Plastic Surgery would provide some support or help to anyone like me who was thinking about cosmetic surgery. I was a 60 year old woman with relatively good skin texture, but day after day I found it more difficult to look in the mirror and see sagging jowl lines, deep nasal folds and a profile without definition due to a chin that now stretched and sagged from what seemed like my mouth past my throat. As someone who had never even had fillers or even a facial, I was hesitant, but finally called to schedule a consult. The staff at Dr. Frankel’s office was not only welcoming, but took my call seriously and spent time answering even the simplest of questions, explaining options, procedures, finances, etc. I followed up with Dr. Frankel whose expertise, professionalism and patient-client connection convinced me without a doubt to follow through with a partial face lift, liposuction of the chin and a lip filler. While it was almost a month before my surgery, I often called the office, whether it was to ask questions or just for reassurance. Shelley and Jamie were incredible. I never felt silly, or like I was a “bother” and most of all I felt comfortable. I had the confidence of knowing that I was under the care of a team of professionals led by a board certified plastic surgeon who specialized in the exact type of procedure I was looking for. Two months post surgery, I am thrilled with my appearance. My face looks fresh, like me, but not in anyway like I had anything done. I continue to have follow ups with Dr. Frankel and his team and yes, I continue to call. Like always, I am greeted with professionalism and respect. Well let's see, where do i start? I never wrote a review on anything before but this is long overdue. Dr. Ponsky is not only that dr that makes you feel very comfortable, but shes that person that makes you feel like everything is going to be ok. I was born with a cleft palate and deviated septum, i was never able to breath out of the right side of my nose. Having continued sinus infections constantly. I was told about Dr. Ponsky and while being hesitant about surgery i made a appointment to go see her. Let me just say that was 7 years ago, its had such a unbelievable positive impact on my life that 7 years later, i still think back on how greatful i am for her work and just how well i was treated while in her care. Dr. Ponsky is an amazingly talented surgeon. I recently had undergone a procedure and although I am only a week out and still healing I am already extremely happy with the results and looking forward to the next few weeks and months of healing. Dr. Ponsky is very professional and her sweet, compassionate spirit resonates with people. I highly recommend her especially if you are new at getting fillers, botox, etc. or are not exactly sure WHAT it is you are wanting, she has a keen eye for this type of thing and no matter what, I believe you will be happy with the outcome! Her staff is amazing as well. Shelly in the office is always so incredibly sweet and pleasant, also very knowledgeable. Her entire staff are wonderful. Her assistant while performing the procedure (it was done under local anesthetic), Jaime, is also very sweet and made sure I was comfortable and feeling ok during the procedure. Everything runs smooth from the very first phone call to the end of the last appointment, this office runs like a well oiled machine. These ladies are AMAZING!!!! Edit: I am now 5 months post op from my upper blepharoplasty and could not be happier with the results! Have also been back for filler and botox and literally just tell Dr. Ponsky, "Do whatever you think I need!" No questions asked. That's how much I trust her with my face. ????
