I went to see Dr. Frankel for mole removals that have been bothering me for most of my life. They would constantly get snagged and ripped to the point of bleeding, and caused me discomfort. He gave me many options, his recommendation, and listened to what my thoughts were. I have never written a review but I felt compelled to do so in hopes that my experience with Dr. Frankel at Ponsky & Frankel Facial Plastic Surgery would provide some support or help to anyone like me who was thinking about cosmetic surgery. I was a 60 year old woman with relatively good skin texture, but day after day I found it more difficult to look in the mirror and see sagging jowl lines, deep nasal folds and a profile without definition due to a chin that now stretched and sagged from what seemed like my mouth past my throat. As someone who had never even had fillers or even a facial, I was hesitant, but finally called to schedule a consult. The staff at Dr. Frankel’s office was not only welcoming, but took my call seriously and spent time answering even the simplest of questions, explaining options, procedures, finances, etc. I followed up with Dr. Frankel whose expertise, professionalism and patient-client connection convinced me without a doubt to follow through with a partial face lift, liposuction of the chin and a lip filler. While it was almost a month before my surgery, I often called the office, whether it was to ask questions or just for reassurance. Shelley and Jamie were incredible. I never felt silly, or like I was a “bother” and most of all I felt comfortable. I had the confidence of knowing that I was under the care of a team of professionals led by a board certified plastic surgeon who specialized in the exact type of procedure I was looking for. Two months post surgery, I am thrilled with my appearance. My face looks fresh, like me, but not in anyway like I had anything done. I continue to have follow ups with Dr. Frankel and his team and yes, I continue to call. Like always, I am greeted with professionalism and respect. If you are in any way considering what cosmetic surgery might have to offer, I strongly suggest reaching out to Ponsky & Frankel.

In late 2019 I experienced a horrific spider bite injury on my forehead which ultimately left a very noticeable pockmark-like crater between my brows. : O Now, six months after my procedure, healing is nearly complete and I’m still amazed that it was possible to restore the area to look as if nothing had ever happened! Dr. Frankel is highly skilled with an extremely gentle and reassuring “chairside manner” — despite a tendency to get claustrophobic I felt completely comfortable during the procedure and related visits. I had a wonderful experience at the office of Dr's Ponsky and Frankel. I was seen by Dr. Frankel for cosmetic concerns regarding a facial scar. He was very thorough in his explanation of the treatment options that he felt would be most beneficial and produce the best results. He was also very straight forward regarding what I should expect both during treatment, while healing, and the expected long term outcomes. He took time to answer all of my questions, and I felt confident in both him and the course of treatment we decided upon. The office staff was pleasant, Dr Frankel was on time for my appointment, and I am beyond thrilled with the results; the scar on my face is no longer visible and I am no longer self conscious about my face. Feeling comfortable referring friends and family is a great indicator of satisfaction with any experience and I have already sent more than one close friend to see Dr Frankel.

I had an upper and lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning. The result is fantastic - a subtle, natural look, which is what I wanted. I went with Dr Frankel because his results make patients look refreshed and relaxed, and awake. When you look at full-face before and after photos on his page you can't always tell what a patient has had done, just that they look better in their after photo. He's also smart and kind, and has a great support staff. I had no blurry vision, no dry eye, no lower lid retraction. Zero complications, just redness and swelling, which I managed with Tylenol and cold compresses. If you're Covid conscious like me, Dr. Frankel is a good way to go - all my appointments were virtual until the actual surgery, and follow-ups have been virtual at my request. I can really see a difference, and everyone is telling me I look so well rested lol.
