I developed temporal mandibular joint dysfunction after Dr. Mitton prophylactically removed my wisdom teeth. This happens when the dentist works quickly and carelessly while you are under general anesthesia. The surgery wasn't necessary as the teeth were unproblematic and showed no sign of becoming problematic in the future. But he proceeded anyway in his pursuit of financial gain.

I went to Dr. Mitton a few years back to remove all four wisdom teeth. The staff was awesome, would highly recommend.

Money grabbers, go somewhere else!! I only went to Dr. Mitton because my dentist referred me to him. I should have listened to the several people who told me to go somewhere else (posting this so others don't make the same mistake ????) I went in for oral surgery recently, and I had an awful experience. The thought of surgery is really stressful on some people like myself, and the circumstances at Summit Oral Centre made my experience a lot more stressful than it had to be. 1. I was sitting in the chair with my heart racing because Dr. Mitton was "running late". I waited for 20 minutes, hooked up to machines and an IV. I started to panick thinking about the fact that my SURGEON was rushing in, and didn't have adequate time to look over my X-rays or prepare for the surgery (I'm just praying that my mouth heals properly) 2. The quote I was given for my surgery was hundreds of dollars less than what I was charged the day of surgery (even though nothing about the surgery plans changed) When I inquired about it, they said they "typed in a wrong code" on the first quote, and won't honor the first price I was given. I have called them multiple times and they have stopped returning my calls.

I had a tooth extraction and socket preservation surgery 5 days ago. Highly recommend Dr. Mitton and his staff, so professional, calmed my nerves and I have already had my first follow up appointment. The surgery went according to plan and very thankful for the attentiveness and caring they have shown to me from the first consult to the surgery.
