After my appointment with Dr Takhar, I got a facial and my whole face and neck broke out in hives. I had to get allergy medication and my face hurt for weeks afterwards. My mom also got Botox which was way too expensive, for something that made no difference.

I had the pleasure of meeting Deb this week. It was my first time experiencing any type of cosmetic assistance. I was nervous after making the appointment. Once I walked in, I knew that I was in the right place. What a beautiful office. Incredibly clean and modern. Deb made me feel incredibly comfortable and is truly an experienced professional. She came highly regarded and I can see why. I am writing this to my fellow 40 plus friends out there....if you have been looking in the mirror and wanting a fresh pick me up but have no idea who to trust, make an appointment to see Deb. I am so happy I did. 5 stars all the way!!!

I booked an appointment with the Belmont Kitchener location for my birthday for some routine botox injections and specified that I would like the procedure done on the same day since I was booking a day off work to get this done. Upon arrival I discovered that I was double booked and the nurse was not aware that I wanted the procedure done on the same day so I was given a consult. In the end I was given the injections but the appointment lasted much longer than needed because of this mix up. I booked a follow up appointment for the Cambridge location only to find out upon arrival that no nurses or doctors were on site and the receptionist was there for admin work only. It wasn't like I had the days mixed up because my name was not in the calendar for a follow up at all. I rebooked for today. I get that its freezing rain and terrible weather but I am glad that I called to find out if someone was in the clinic today. There is no message on the machine when you call to say the clinic is closed due to inclement weather and there is no sign on the door to say they are closed. I had to call the pharmacy located in the same building to find out they are closed. After my follow up is complete I will find a more reliable clinic for my future needs.

I have just completed my first 16 weeks in the weight loss program though Dr. Takhar's Cosmetic Clinic in Cambridge. The clinic itself is stunning and the staff are some of the kindest and most welcoming of all people I've ever met. The weight loss program itself is a very well thought out program geared to success. With meetings 3 times a week, there is no lack of support and encouragement! Even on days where results aren't as favourable as one might hope, Dina and Dr. Takhar are reassuring, understanding and supportive. More times than i can remember in my own journey, I was reminded that, no matter how small or slow, progress is still progress. My journey has been life changing. Since joining in February 2017, I've lost 43 pounds and 26 inches. I've gained more self-confidence than i could have ever imagined. But most importantly, i have learned life changing lessons about the effects of everything I put into my body. Special thanks to Dr. Takhar, Dina and Courtney for the support and encouragement along this journey. I look forward to our next several weeks together as we continue toward my 100 pound goal. Spent over $2000 for my tattoo removal and they use the lowest setting on the laser so that it doesn’t go away and they can keep charging you to come back. I asked numerous times for them to turn the laser up so it’s more effective and they did not. Money grab. Won’t be going back

I'm a volunteer driver from Waterloo, and brought a patient down here for a 12:10 appointment with Dr. Takhar. We've been sitting here in the waiting room since 11:45, and it's now 13:15. Apparently, meetings that occur on the phone are much more important than actual patients. I suggest, if you are unfortunate enough to have to see this woman, you bring a really good book or a fully charged phone to play on. I wish zero stars was an option.

AMAZING clinic! The staff are lovely, the clinic is beautiful and the procedures are done professionally. I was so nervous to get work done to my face but Deb and Dr Takhar made the experience wonderful and I am SO happy with the result!!!!! If you're an adrenaline junky for lines and waiting, boy do I have the office for you! If you try to book a visit with the doctor, they typically book 4 weeks in advance. If you want to go to the walk in clinic, arrive 2 hours early and stand at the door or else you'll be waiting 2.5 - 3 hours just to sit in a room for 5 minutes. I got into a bad car accident that has me off work for 3 months. I had a prescription for a few pain killers that didnt have a refill put on them. So of course, I show up at 9am on Saturday (because I cant wait 4 weeks to see the doctor), and I'm waiting at least 3 hours just for the doctor to print out the exact same prescription as last time. Then, I have to drive a half hour to go pick it up at Costco. ???? I will be looking for a new doctors office, but even that could take 6 months to transfer me. I'm sure glad I can always count on my family doctor to help me out, especially after a bad car accident! P.S. Dr. Griffioen at this clinic is amazing! None of this is about him.

My wife has been to this Doctor a few times she isn't very helpful and her staff is not overly organized or up to date what appointments are booked. Also seems odd that 2 of the 5 star reviews from what appears to be a family member (Andy Thakar) which is suspect to say the least. If you have the option of going elsewhere I would advise that you do.

I booked a consult with Dr. Takhar at her Cambridge Cosmetic Clinic. I wanted to do Cool Sculpting for my chin. She suggested Belkyra injections because it was "so minor." I left the consult excited as Dr. Takhar explained it is very effective and simple. The Belkyra did nothing. She then offered me Cool Sculpting for free because she wanted me to be satisfied. Once again, the Cool Sculpting did nothing. If I had realized there was a chance the treatment would have not worked, I would have never done it. I wasted $1500. Not to mention my time. I have had multiple appointments with her. Every time she was 30-45minutes late. I asked if Belkyra/Cool Sculpting offers reimbursement for being ineffective. She said absolutely not and that she was now at a financial loss because of my all my treatments. Not happy.

Came here a few years ago for laser hair removal and hairs on my chin and neck that were pretty much nonexistent came back extremely thick. I actually looked like I was medically trying to transition into a male and a different clinic had to fix the mess. I also see that the owner is checking whether commenters have actually used this service. For the record my name used to be Samantha-Lee Abreu when I was here.

Unfortunately this clinic consistently has absolutely unacceptable wait times. An appointment time is never the actual time you will be seen. Expect to be waiting at least 30 minutes. There are plenty of other clinics to choose from that value and respect their patients' time.

every body can be a Doctor and dr takhar too. she use to work in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan as a family doctor nobody had good word to say about her. Now she has cosmetic clinic .....Wow wow wow who give to here to be doctor...... the worst arrogant person .... she is good for cleaning
