Dr. Nickerson and his team at the Foothills burn clinic are absolutely amazing! The care and attention Dr. Nickerson and the physiotherapists provided extremely reduced the stress of the process throughout the treatment of my burn. The surgery went extremely well and my after care was second to none. The aesthetics of the incision are also much better than I could have ever imagined. I am very grateful for the care I received. If anyone needs a plastic surgeon Dr. Nickerson would 100% be my recommendation!

As a medical professional myself I would highly recommend getting a second opinion after seeing Doctor Nickerson. His version of practicing medicine includes treatment plans boardering on medical negligence. An early Sunday morning appointment ended up a complete and utter waste of time as we'll be having to get a second opinion anyway. And all of this after the emergency doctor was shocked, said he couldn't suture and it would need a skin graft or it would never heal. Nothing was given for pain and with the nurses there was a general aire of annoyance over having to do their job. All in all a horrendous experience at the McCaig Minor Surgery Unit of the Foothills Hospital. I will be warning everyone I know to go anywhere else.

Regarding a previous post, it is not appropriate to recommend a surgical intervention when a superior or equivalent outcome can be achieved without the risks and discomfort of surgery. Recommending a non-surgical treatment plan in that circumstance is not "medical negligence". To suggest otherwise is libellous.

I cannot overstate the exemplary care and kindness I received from Dr. Nickerson, his resident, the McCaig Minor Surgery Team and his Office Staff. The quality of surgery was world class. 100% recommendation.

I would like to thank Dr Nickerson for helping me with my medical issues, he did surgery and restored the use of my left arm and hand, all the staff went out of their way before, during and after my surgery to get me back to normal where I could use my limb again, Thank you to Dr Nickerson and all his staff for all they have done for me, God Bless you all and Best Wishes in the New Year ????????????????
