Worst experience ever with a doctor. I was there for an initial consultation about a deviated septum and to check if I needed surgery. First I had to wait about 20 min in the lobby to be able to get in a room, then about 15 more min in the room for him to come in. I was wearing a mask the entire time because of covid19, but thought he would need to see my face so I took it off. He gets in the room and demands me to put my mask on. Didn't even say hi or ask how I was doing. I thought that was extremly rude and needless since I had kust filled out a questionnaire about covid19 and was safe for everything. He then asked how I was, but I was so upset by the way he treated me that I didn't even engage. Just let me examine my ears, then my mouth and nose, but all very quickly. He didn't ask me many questions, didn't make me feel comfortable at all. Then he says he's gonna examine my nose with a camera, doesn't explain anything further, pit this camera all the way up through my nose, which was extremely uncomfortable. I had to jump back in the chair to make him stop. At the ebd of that, he gave ne ny diagnostic and said I was gonna need surgery. That he was gonna refer me to another doctor who he couldn't say the name or how to contact him, that it could take 3 to 4 months for me to be called in and that was the ebd of it. Super impersonal, made me feel like I wasn't important or didn't matter. I strongly suggest you to find another ETN doctor if you can because this one is a total disappointment.

Firstly, their appointment systems makes no sense to me. YOU have to call THEM a week before the appointment to confirm your time. Huh? Secondly, I saw Dr. Beth Chung Lau for a deviated septum. He came in and didn't ask me any questions about my situation, just immediately grabbed tools and said, "I'm going to take a look in your nose". No further information about the process. I got totally freaked out when he shoved tools up my nose very quickly and it made me tear up. I then felt very embarrassed and starting fully crying. He jumped back from me and, in a very brash manner, asked me if I had experienced physiological trauma or something as I seemed "unstable" and should leave and reschedule my appointment. I didn't want to have to reschedule and miss another day of work, so I just said "no, I want my appointment to be completed." Only then did he actually take time to semi explain things and talk to me in a more kind manner.

I was referred to Doctor Lau by my GP relating to vertigo symptoms. My appointment started bang on time. I found Doctor Lau to be pleasant and friendly enough. He listened to what I had to say and answered my questions in a patient and non patronising manner. He spoke a little quickly I suppose but I had no problem understanding what was said despite the fact he was wearing both a respirator and full face visor. Based on my one consultation I would describe doctor Lau as professional, efficient and pleasant to deal with. I guess people have widely differing expectations of medical professionals. On this occasion my expectations were fully met.

I met with Dr. Bedy Lau 3 years ago. He came across very friendly and was genuinely empathetic to the difficult mess I ended up in. He is very professional, experienced, knowledgeable and ethical.. Dr. Bedy Lau has been helping me from trauma from previous botched surgeries. He also has stepped in as my doctor to support me and help me in whatever he can to get me from a state of despair to living a normal life again. With his help using non surgical procedures he has helped me tremendously. I had met with so many other surgeons and none had treated me with the care and sympathy Dr. Bedy Lau has. Wincy is so accommodating, helpful and friendly. She always goes out of her way for me too. Thank you Dr. Bedy Lau for helping me get this far and closer to getting my life back. I will always be a patient and forever grateful.

With the professional and caring assistance of Ms. Li, the MOA, my mother was able to take a last minute cancelation appointment today ahead of her scheduled appointment in January. Being the owner of a multi-provider clinic I understand that someone like Ms. Li is a rare gem. We also appreciate the caring and timely assessment of my mother's situation by Dr. Lau. The appointment went very smoothly. Dr. Lau is efficient and direct in his approach just like what we expect from a competent surgeon. Thank you Ms. Li and Dr. Lau for all your help.

Waited 40 mins for Mr. Lau to show up, he asked what problems I'm experiencing. After started talking he turned around and started fixing my mask around my nose without my permission or asking me to fix it. *NO RESPECT AT ALLl!!!* After again he pulled my mask below my nose and without any warning or explanation what I may feel he started putting something into my nose. It hurt so much! He knew my nose is swollen and all irritated inside and still didn't communicate anything about procedure and what I may feel or how strong pain may be. *ZERO EMPATHY!* Right after he pulled my masks back up and squeezed it around my nose. After that he CUT MY MASK in nose area... YES!!!HE CUT HOLE IN MY MASK. So not only he damaged my mask without warning or asking me for permission but he also destroyed my only mouth /nose protection I had with me at clinic.This was THE WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had!! This is clear example how doctors shouldn't threat their patients! My girlfriend was with me in the room and cried after we left! That is how SHOCKING , DISRESPECTFUL, HUMILIATING and DISGUSTING this appointment was!!

The worst doctor ever. Please avoid wasting your time waiting for the visit. The staff don't respect people at all. Very unprofessional, they have no idea about their stupid appointment system. Your healthy situation will get worse when you take the time waiting forever. I will never use them again.

I visited Dr. Lau because of nose problem. He listened to me patiently and examined my nose carefully. Although my existing problem is nose, he also examined my ears and throat if other issues exists that I may not aware of. He then explained what caused my nose problem and how to treat my nose. He is a very professional and very detailed doctor. I highly recommend. Besides, I appreciated the excellent clinic management and the girl in the front desk is very friendly. During the pandemic, the office provides 100% confidence for visiting. In the entrance area, there is a station to provide sanitizers for hands and SHOES sanitising. They would not allow more than 3 patients in the clinic at the same time. There are few rooms in the clinic for examination. After each patient left the room, they sanitize not only the high touch area, they also leave the room closed and vacant an hour for air sanitizing and purifying. I have never experienced any other places would keep up with this excellent protocol. Thanks for Dr. Lau and his team.
