Dr. Khetani changed my life! After over 25 years of severe sinus infections, nasal polyps, no sense of smell, being unable to breath through my nose at all, I was referred to Dr. Khetani. He recommended sinus surgery as my best option. It has been several years since surgery and I feel 99% better, I can breathe again, I have a great sense of smell, I can taste things again and no more infections. I do continue to use a nasal wash to prevent the return of the polyps. Dr. Khetani is very personable and professional. He is easy to talk to and I am so thankful I was referred to him. From the initial consultation to the final follow-up, my experience with Dr. Khetani and his staff is very well deserving of a 5+ star rating. He took the time to explain my options and what to expect from the option I chose. The recovery period of my particular procedure was as described. Although not necessarily normal for a septoplasty, my recovery was completely pain-free. I would definitely recommend Dr. Khetani to anyone who's deciding on the right phyisician.

I was referred to 2 other specialists, saw 3 Doctors and Dr Khetani was the only one that treated my case with the highest urgency and care. Not only that, he started me on a treatment plan for my sudden hearing loss immediately. He's extremely smart, thorough, is a straight shooter and if I could have him as my family doctor, I would. He got me immediately to a hyperbaric chamber and is doing anything and everything in his power to get my hearing back. To help give you context on how great and responsive Dr Khetani is, the other EMT doctors knew I had an emergency I and have a short window (2 weeks) to get treatment before it gets worst (or nothing can be done at all); 1 EMT doctor didn't call me back after getting 2 urgent referrals from doctors at the hospital, the other said I had to wait 2 more weeks. Dr Khetani took me on that exact same day (which is unheard of). Highly recommend him. He's honest, upfront, knowledgeable and has already helped improve things (it's only been 3-4 days). Can't thank him enough for stepping up where others failed to.

He really took the time to listen to my concerns and was very honest with me about what I needed (as well as didn't need), which I really appreciated. I felt comfortable the entire time. Good doctor who is NOT being supported by the incompetent woman who is "in charge" of the office. Doesn't check voice mails from surgical patients. She has been caught in lies at least twice by myself. Dr. Khetani fire this useless woman who is in essence YOUR REPRESENTATIVE and I'm sure that these complaints with her at the core will stop. She is the one common thread in complaints from patients.

Thankfully after 10 years I was sent to Dr. Khetani and he did the work necessary. He was kind and made sure to answer any questions I may of had. I do not have bad experience with Dr.Khetani but with his staff at the front office, I waited for appt over 3 months, they did not inform my family doctor about appt time at all but just 2 days ago they sent me text msg. with appt. date for next week. Due nature of my work I am not able make the visit next week so I went there to reschedule date for later but this year and they told me that next appt will be in May 2020 because I am at the end of the line. and they made me favor for my next week appt. because they gave me early appt at 13:20 and they start work at 1:30. Big favor. LOL! Staff office need some training how to work with patients with more respect. 0 stars if is available.

Dr. Khetani is a fabulous Doctor. I have a perforated ear drum and got an infection. I saw 2 different doctors and was put on 2 separate antibiotics, and my infection was only getting worse! Dr Khetani gave me the treatment and antibiotic drops I was so desperately needing. His whole staff is fabulous! You’re in good hands.

Horrible person. I had concussion more than three weeks ago. Everybody, including two my pharmacists sisters, had been seeing obvious displacement or fracture in the upper right nasal bone area. Such a thing requires an immediate surgical intervention to let the bones be in its correct positions. He didn't checked that area at all, however, he instead checked the lower areas that has a lot nerve endings, and then he read the medications that I had been taking. Afterwards, he told me; are you taking medications for mental health issues, and I answered, yes. He afterwards refused to deal with me at all, despite he admitted that he had been doing those kinds of surgeries. He literally told me; I will not do this surgery for you! This means his refusal to check that problematic nasal area because he don't want to do a surgery for me! A horrible person, and he should relearn the definition of medicine again!

I was referred to Dr. Khetani, as most of my life I had suffered from chronic sinusitis. From the initial consultation, I was convinced that I was in good hands. I can be a bit of a "tricky" patient, as I'm terrified of surgery and pain; but Dr. Khetani handled it professionally. He took the time to sit and talk to me, calming my nerves and explaining everything to me; never leaving me feeling rushed, or as if I was being an inconvenience. His bedside manner is amazing! While at the hospital he visited me a couple of times post surgery to make sure I was recovering well and to ensure I was awake enough to understand the care procedures I would need to follow....my past experience with other surgeons was not as personal. The surgery went smoothly and I was able to breathe through my nose immediately afterwards. Minimal pain, no black eyes or swelling of the face. Absolutely life changing! I will continue to say nothing but wonderful things and advocate for Dr. Khetani. Thank you Dr Khetani for your patience, understanding, knowledge, and hard work!!

Thank you Dr Justin. I went to see him, because i lost my hearing. He but me on medication and returned my hearing. He listened to all of my symptoms, and sent me to more specialist. After 5 MRIs they found a tumor attached to my sensory nerve, and now monitoring its growth. 20 years of complaining to my family doctor. Dr Justin is an amazing doctor. He saved my life! At first meet with Dr Khetani he gives you real answers on the outcome of my surgery. Not beating around the bush. I had my septum corrected. I have never been under anesthesia and I have a great fear of claustrophobia. He took the time to explain and help me get threw the surgery and days after that. Always checking in via phone. After the surgery and I completely healed, my life changed and I was no longer a mouth breather. My workouts and sleeping changed for the better. I would recommend Dr Khetani. Dr. Khetani did an amazing job on my nose. I had a septoplasty done last week and as soon as I went to get my stents out a week later, I could instantly feel air flow from the side he operated on. My only complaint was that after I had my surgery done, I could not get in touch with his office as I had questions to ask since I didn't get specific post-op instructions just the general after surgery instructions are what I got. I was calling 2-3 times a day, everyday and nobody would answer. I ended up getting a call on Mon from the office to confirm my appt for Wed and I asked the receptionist when I'm supposed to take my nasal spray and which one to take as there was nothing written on the post-op instructions. She told me I was supposed to start the day after surgery and I had to use Rhinaris. Other than that, everything else was fine. :)

After a decade of allergy investigations, reffersls to various ENT’s and a host of steroid sprays no benificial outcomes occured. Quality of life was terrible, sleep was terrible, I was a walking zombie. I met Dr Khetani in 2017, provided him my history and he confidently made surgical reccomendations. In July of 2017 I under went surgery for deviated septum, turbinate reduction and selective sinus surgery. Dr Khetani’s surgical team was top notch and they put me totally at ease. Follow up with Dr. khetani has always been swift to be seen and he investigates each follow up thouroughly. Now, 2018 and my life is back! Sleep is markedly improved and breathing is great! Dr Khetani’s administrative staff are very accompdating and friendly. Your in good hands with this group.

I had to get a septioplasty due to previous injury and Dr. Khetani did an excellent job. The surgery was minimally invasive and recovery was way smoother than I expected. He really puts effort into making sure a sensitive area is fixed without extra pain. I had pain the first day then it was just a pressure because of the plastic stents. Once those are removed you can breathe again and the nose is straight and perfect. Excellent doctor.

If I could give half a star, I would. I visited Dr. Khetani to go over my hearing test results. Before the test, I was aware that I needed hearing aids. Dr. Khetani spoke to me in a very negative way, making me feel as if I was going to die because of my hearing loss; he was not comforting in any way. He kept sending me to pointless MRI appointments that did nothing but waste my time as the result came back the same every time- there was nothing. He knew that I was a student and expected me to pay $7,000 within 3 months which was impossible and he kept pushing it on me and again, made it sound like I had no choice. To either get them asap or as if I was going to die. His receptionist was bitter too and unwelcoming. When I decided to go elsewhere, I contacted the receptionist to remove me from his patient list, she said she did but then continued to contact me every other month to come in for another hearing test and every time again, I had to tell her to stop calling and to remove me from the list. I got another call today and asked to be removed, I hope it happens.

This review is not for the doctor but for the clinic. I got an automated call confirming an appointment. I confirmed. Today before going to the clinic, i check google and it showed the clinic was closed on Friday, saturday and sunday. I picked up my phone and called and the automated teller. It said no calls will be answered on friday, saturday and sunday. I called my family physician office and they said they havent received any info on today's appointment. So we concluded thr was a mistake. Later in the day i am told the clinic was open. Like how am i supposed to know when ur info on google (updated by u) and automated phone answer (managed by u) says otherwise? Change ur admin is my suggestion. More than the doctor the patients have to face the ordeal of inefficient administration.

Dr. Khetani is absolutely fantastic!! Dr. Khetani performed a deviated septum surgery in conjunction with extensive Septoplasty which was amazing!!. I noticed a significant improvement after surgery and 6 weeks later I would say 100% Sinus air flow. No complications, and minimal discomfort. I took Tylenol 2's for a couple of days and am not even sure I needed that strength. My life has changed, for me, my family, and my professional life as well as social. I simply cannot say enough good things about Dr Khetani. LIFE CHANGING!!! Thank you very much Dr. Khetani!!!!!

Dr. Khetani got defensive when I asked questions and said he doesn’t like being challenged. I refused getting an mri for an ear issue that he wouldn’t even show test results for. Nor would I do a biopsy for my thyroid that he had no images to show. He said he doesn’t go by images but by written reports. Hello is there a doctor in the house? He initially refused to look through my nose as well. Not impressed.

I had to have my first surgery ever since having a c-section 26 years ago that was botched. I had to have a tumor removed that was located below my earlobe, behind my jaw line. The incision had to be longer down my neck to avoid any facial nerve damage. This Rockstar surgeon not only removed the tumor without facial nerve damage, but was uber skilled to leave a very minimal scar in a highly visible area! His very personable manner helped to minimize the stress level throughout the whole treatment and surgery. You want this Doctor for your surgery!

I have sinus issues and a deviated septum. He refused to look at my nose because he said that my GP that had referred me, only said that my ears needed to be looked at. A total waste of time. Very disappointing.

After 20 years of poor hearing I met Dr. Khetani and he offered a simple solution of putting tubes in my ears as a fix to the problem. I was highly skeptical this approach would work but trusted his professional decision and went ahead and did the operation. I did not expect the life changing results that came of this. Immediately following the procedure I went from a person with exceptionally poor hearing, to being able to hear everything perfectly clear. I now live with no hearing deficit at all, and can enjoy all the noises my little baby girl makes. I am disgusted with the “service” and lack of regard for the patient when I brought my 85 yr. old mother to have ear wax removed (as per family physician’s SPECIFIC referral, which included Dx. significant hearing impairment, and unable to remove ear wax due to a accumulation of ear wax). Instead, the dr. didn’t show up at all and “someone else” without gloves performed a hearing test, which took ~3-4 mins. The cabin was dirty, paint peeling off the walls and the “equipment” filthy with no sanitation products in view. Subsequently, I was told by the secretary the dr. would call me in a MONTH to have a tel. appt. with me! NOT the patient, but with me! When I asked WHY and WHEN he’s planning to remove the ear wax (the reason why I brought my Mom in the first place), I was told this is the protocol that must be followed. Thus, no logical, sensible & practical route (given the pandemic) was taken - just follow the stupid, irrational protocol! BUT! The good news is that even though the SIMPLE medical problem was NOT ADDRESSED/TREATED, BUT I placed my senior Mom at HIGH RISK when I took her into that awful office (the PANDEMIC), dr. khetani, who didn’t even have the decency to show up for the appt., will be able to BILL OHIP for the hearing test and for the tel. appt. (which I will NOT pick up). The conclusion, once again PROFITS override, outdistance the patient’s well being, safety and HEALTH!!

terrible experience. does a phone appointment first and recommends drops for ears for severe itching without seeing. when that doesn't work calls back after several months for a in person appointment and then says he cannot help. what a joke!
