Couple of years ago I had a surgery with dr rai and he he did bad job I don't recommend him to any body and I dont forgive him
I am writing this to all the people out there considering having breast argumentation from Dr Rai. I would strongly suggest you go elsewhere. I had a breast augmentation from Dr Rai. in September 2010. After my surgery my recovery was not normal and I would meet with him to discuss the pain and the concerns. Dr Rai would either brush me off by telling me "its scar tissue keep massaging" it will get better! When that did not work he decided to prescribe me medication that had nothing to do with my symptoms. Almost 2 years later, an ultra sound proved that he had left a tube inside me that was 15cm long and 6mm wide. Even when Dr. Rai received this report which clearly stated there was a tube inside of me, he denied any wrongdoing and, I believe, tried to trick me into thinking that it was a folded implant that he could fix with another surgery. I truly believe that Dr. Rai was lying to me and trying to trick me into having a further surgery so that he could remove the tube and conceal his mistake. The reason I believe this is because Dr. Rai was unaware that the ultra sound technician had already told me there was a tube inside me. He was actually going to charge me to pay for another surgery so that he could remove the tube and I truly believe he was lying to me in the hopes of being able to hide his mistake. I went to another doctor and had the tube removed as I was not going to trust my body to Dr. Rai again. I filed a lawsuit against him to recover my medical expenses and lost wages. I also wanted other women to know about this so they could avoid the terrible experience I had. If you want to review the case you can go to the Vancouver Registry and look up file number S125783.
I had a very unpleasant experience with Gaezelle M. The initial consult was incomplete. After following her treatment plan, I began having a number of side effects. I was promised she’d call me within an hour or two. I received a missed call one week later. I was in an appointment and called her back immediately and she never called back once again. I scheduled an appointment to see her in person. An hour or so before my appointment I saw I had a message from the Clinic. I was asked what I was scheduled for and was then told they didn’t have the proper equipment for the Venus Viva machine for my appointment. A little more notice would have been appreciated. I found this to be quite unprofessional. I had made special arrangements to be at the appointment and it felt my time was not valued. Gaezelle stated more than once she is a busy person - as if her time is more important than others. I asked if I could speak directly with Gaezelle about having a hydrafacial in place of what I was originally scheduled for. The receptionist told me that Gaezelle said yes. I asked if I could briefly discuss it with her first (I had two questions). I waited and she never called me back. I was not surprised at this point. I had already arranged for Uber (which was quite late - I had no control over this). I was mortified, thinking I was keeping Gaezelle waiting, however when I arrived she sat behind the front desk talking to Dr. Rai and didn’t so much as acknowledge my presence. I was taken to a room where nothing was prepped for my scheduled facial. I waited at least 15 minutes, listening to Gaezelle continue to talk to the doctor about financials and such. She finally entered the room and essentially questioned why I was there. The entire experience wasn’t just bizarre, but erupted into her speaking to me so very disrespectfully - like I was a child being reprimanded. I found her to be abrasive, unprofessional, unkind and uninformed. After living in Italy, the US and Canada, I have consistently been told I had melasma. She insisted I did not. I have since had an MD state she is wrong. She also seemed to believe that there was some type of contraindication between migraines and the Venus Viva. This simply isn’t the case. What is more troubling is that she was aware during the consult that I suffer from migraines and recommended the Venus Viva. She also told me I was too inflamed to have a hydrafacial that day. Objectively, this was untrue. I was fortunate enough to get a second opinion following my terrible experience with her. They too found her statements to be odd and incorrect. They were perplexed. While I am glad that I put a stop to her terrible behavior, told her I would not be returning and stood up and left the room, I regret allowing Gaezelle to even attempt to bully me. I started to get emotional and choke up when she was being verbally aggressive. I wish I hadn’t allowed her to upset me and instead told her to never speak to me in such a manner again. .I feel she lacks the capacity to be empathic. It was unsettling. This is the last of my energy and time I will give her. My primary objective is to spare others from having an experience like mine. When you go somewhere to feel a little better about yourself there is a reasonable expectation of being treated with kindness at the very least. That is certainly not too much to ask. Side Note: I am hopeful she has the decency not to respond to this, however if she does - I can provide much greater detail. I also took before and after pictures. My melasma has worsened significantly since I began her treatment plan. She tried to blame the weather - yet another mistruth.
I had an amazing experience at The Rai Clinic. Dr. Rai and his team are so friendly and very professional. They take the time to explain everything. The results were also better than I expected! I look forward to my next visit.
I had breast augmentation in June 2016. I am 100% happy with results. He recommended the perfect size and the scar is non existent now. Recently I've been seeing Dr. Rai for my pregnancy mask and acne scars. I started on a vigorous skin care regimen. Kinda pricy but seems to work just fine . I also did a chemical peel with great results. Only reason I gave 4 stars is things aren't always thorough explained. And location isn't super convenient for me. But Dr. Rai is amazing and I trust him completely.
Dr rai was amazing. He fixed my previous breast augmentation when no other surgeon said it was possible. I finally am happy with how I look and it's all thanks to him. He was professional, kind, listened, and thurough. Highly recommended surgeon.
I have worked with them. Very professional and patient. Specially Gaizal. She is amazing and kind. Would recommend them to all my friends.
I met Dr Rai at a filler clinic, I was a model for. I was very nervous about getting fillers. I had very little put in. Fast forward a year later. After someone told me I looked 65, ( I am 55 yrs old). I recently went to see Dr Rai at his office. I ended up getting Botox and fillers. Three weeks later, I can not believe the amazing job he did. It looks so natural. Being very nervous about gettinig fillers. He is the only one I will go to.
Was not pleased with Dr Rai. Had issues the day after surgery and for 1 week straight, I called and complained about pain I was having and Dr Rai eventually told me to come in for a check up, noticed the tissue had grown over the implant and Dr Rai charged me $1000 extra, before I had the surgery.
