I had recurring breast abscesses from a cyst that was in my nipple and was recommended to see Dr Reid after many failed attempts from the hospital and two other Dr's to remove it, I can not say thank you enough to Dr.Reid and Echo his assistant for the amazing job they did, he was the only Dr that went into my nipple and removed the cyst sack which needs to be done to stop future regrowth. The needle for the freezing usually hurts so bad I almost cry this time I didn't even feel it go in when he did it. He was gentle, had excellent bedside manner and was confident. I definitely will use him in the future if I am in need of a cosmetic surgeon, I highly recommend him for cyst removals.

Great experience! I had very large stretched ear lobes (44mm) and he did an amazing job stitching them up! Everybody was so polite and professional, the procedure was about an hour and surprisingly painless, only a little pain the next day. Scars are healing nicely, and it feels good to have less edgy ears! 1st pic is before without jewelry and 2nd pic is almost a month healed

Dream come true! After 2 C sections and poorly healed appendix scar from childhood I finally had a tummy tuck. Drainless!! I was sent to Dr Reid for a consult for carpal tunnel surgery which I did not need. I healed that through Bikram yoga. I appreciated his professional calm manner so much I went back a few years later and inquired about a TT. I looked no further. His staff is amazing, his skills are impeccable , fair price. I heard he was a meticulous/perfectionist with no God complex through other healthcare professionals who respected him and his team. I personally think he is an artist. My scar? a thin ,very low, white line, barely noticeable after a year. I was taken care of and respected through the whole process. I feel and look the best I've ever felt! Happily doing backbends in yoga. 110% recommend Dr. Reid and crew. My only complaint? Wish I'd met him sooner.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr Reid and his staff. Erica, Angela, and the rest of the front desk team/nurses were incredibly welcoming, informative, and helpful throughout the entire process. Dr Reid is a wonderful plastic surgeon and goes above and beyond for his patients, and even though I was “just” an MSP patient, I was treated with incredible personalized care, before and especially after the surgery. The outcome of the surgery was even better than I could’ve ever expected, I am beyond pleased with the results. 100% recommend Dr Reid!

What can I say ! I would give this dr and his staff 100 stars if there were. I got an FDL and being such a big surgery I was looking for a caring doctor more than going to some foreign country and jeopardizing my health. Let me share for all of you looking to save some money I was super lucky that I had a local caring doctor. I’m diabetic and had a few complications but I don’t think of it wasn’t for doctor Reid his availability 24x7 and that of his staff that I would have come out of this and some emergency’s doctor would have dismissed me in the name of saving hospital resources. I can’t thank and how proud I am of the decision I made to choose this surgeon. If all you need to know is that Dr. Owen Reid is an exemplary surgeon and a caring and thoughtful person then I can assure you from my personal experience – he certainly is. I however feel that, with the positive way he has impacted on my self image and my life in general, I owe him the debt of letting people know some details. I was hit by a car while riding a bike 20 years ago and the injuries I sustained were very serious and led me to be in a wheelchair for months. I was a world dance and gymnastics coach and of course my substantial thighs for those sports turned to jelly as I struggled to rehabilitate. It took a year before I could walk unassisted. Happily, I recovered almost fully but my legs never returned to normal and one thigh was left much larger than the other due to swelling and deep tissue injury. The lumps left behind always showed through my clothing and every time I looked in the mirror, I relived the accident. I went to numerous plastic surgeons in the hopes that they would be able to give me back at least some sense of the positive self image I had previous to my accident. I had given up and just accepted that nothing could be done when I found Dr. Reid’s Coastal Plastic Surgery web site. My first impression was one of relief and gratitude. This doctor not only listened to what my issues were – he worked with me to devise a plan that would give me the best result. He thought “outside the box” and, while most others had said I needed a lower body lift, he was honest about the limitations of that procedure for me. We opted for a medial thigh lift done in 2 stages. He felt that doing the major lipo suction needed first and then doing the thigh lift would be best and he was correct. No one else had suggested this be done in stages. The cost ended up the same as if it was all done at once but the result and time that I had between allowed me to have not only a better end result but less risk of complications and faster recovery. Yes, I had to be patient between the surgeries with more hanging skin but that wait was well worth it. Dr. Reid made sure that I felt heard and cared for during the entire process and he and his staff are kind, patient and of the highest professional standards. The Cambie Surgical Center staff where the surgeries were performed are incredible. I am an RN and knowing that my nurses and anesthesiologists were there for me in every way to support the excellence of Dr. Reid made the entire experience calming and gave a sense of ease and confidence that is so vital when undergoing these types of procedures. I had asked Dr. Reid to give me the chance at being able to look in the mirror and not see the accident that almost cost me my life. He not only did that but, now that the weather is good, I am once again wearing shorts!! Thank you, Dr. Reid and all the staff at Coastal, for giving me this gift of your experience, expertise, attention to detail and thoughtfulness. I thank the universe everyday for being led to your clinic. If I could give you 10 stars I would!!
