I opted for the tummy tuck but did my due diligence looking for the right plastic surgeon. There were a lot of great sounding plastic surgeon s to pick from but I found Dr Kim’s profile very impressive and after doing the research on her background and seeing her Gallery of tummy tucks I felt I would be in very good hands. From my consultation to post-surgery, Dr. Kim & her staff were all so lovely. Do not use this surgeon. I went in for a simple abdominal surgery to remove tissue from my C-sections and was left with 6 months of fighting a horrible infection from, what I believe to be, dr Kim’s negligence. I came out of the surgery with horrible bruising and had massive amounts of dark fluid coming out of the surgical drain. This went on for an entire month before she finally removed the drains, which, I believe should of been done sooner. The long exposure in the drains resulted in a massive infection. I then had to endure an additional surgery to clean out the area. The infection was not properly cleaned out and I had endure 21 days of IV antibiotics at an infectious disease doctor. Which I had to pay thousands for. Through the ordeal she kept trying to blame me, even though I followed her recommendations exactly as told, and I would leave her office in tears. After enduring all of that, Dr Kim told me that the reason my stomach looked bad now was because I gained weight, she repeatedly told me this and I would leave devastated and crying. I hadn’t gained any weight whatsoever. It’s clearly deformed from the infection and her poor expertise. Not only did I go through an entire year of emotional and physical hell, I am now left with a stomach that looks worse than before the butchered surgery. Look elsewhere, if you’re wanting someone that stands by their work and treats people with kindness.

I am not a patient yet. This is a review of the high level of professionalism, knowledge, and customer service I received as just a potential patient calling in for some information. I called the office on two different occasions. On both occasions, I was greeted in such a friendly manner and received more information than I had anticipated receiving. I spoke to two different individuals each time. Both were extremely knowledgeable and equally kind. I am sorry I don't remember the name of the first individual (if I ever remember, I'll edit this review accordingly). My last conversation was with Ms. Emily. She answered all of my questions and what she did not know, she found out right away. She also gave me some good advice. This practice seems like they care about giving the best service to each person. I will be coming in to see Dr. Kim for a consultation in the future.

Quality & Care: SGK recently did my breast augmentation and they turned out amazing. The quality of the work and dedication is top notch in terms of Pre & Post operation appointments, day-of processes, healing, and the final results. I’m very happy with how they turned out. Dr. Kim And her staff spent So much time with me ensuring I was comfortable and knew all of the details every step of the way. I received calls post-op to check in and make sure I was feeling good. It made the process so easy! I researched a lot of plastic surgery places for my breast augmentation and none of them compared to SGK. Environment: The office is beautifully decorated, very clean and inviting. The staff is SO sweet and accommodating. For a breast augmentation there are several pre & post op appointments and at each one the front desk and nursing staff made me feel so welcome and comfortable. The building does not feel like a “hospital” as it is an upscale surgery & normal clinical center. Purely for Dr. Kim’s patients! The parking is SO simple right in front and the waiting room is so beautiful you don’t even feel like you are in a medical facility. Information: As this was my first breast augmentation, I did not know hardly anything about the process or options. SGKs staff spent hours with me going over options, sizing, operation, healing, etc. They even had a “try on” session with me and offered professional insight and advice on the various size and shape options. I never felt like I was in the dark and always felt I had all the information I needed and wanted. I felt very confident going into the operation knowing every detail and knowing the staff was aware of exactly the look I wanted to go for! They are SO trustworthy and knowledgeable. All in all, I enjoy going back for my post op visits and seeing all the nursing staff and Dr. Kim. They are so sweet and I love talking with them all! Would highly recommend Dr. Kim & SGK. My mom and sister did their breast augmentation here as well! All had the same experience.

I came down from Miami and previous doctor recommended this place. After doing some of my own research, I thought it looked great and would give it a try. I definitely was not disappointed. The location is beautiful & very clean. The receptionist was very welcoming and nice. I also came here during COVID and they are taking every precaution to maintain everything sanitary and the receptionist even cleaned/ disinfected the counter and pens. It was my first time there so I filled in some paperwork and shortly after I met Rachel. She was super sweet and thorough. She asked what I wanted and then walked me through with a mirror explaining what she can do to help me with my areas of concern. We created a plan and I’m looking forward to working with her. During my visit I got fillers and the process was not at all painful or uncomfortable and she always made sure that I was ok. I love the final result. My face looks younger but not overdone, which is a big concern of mine. I hate the fake look and that’s why I choose Rachel, she gives a beauty result without exaggerating the fEatures. Very poor experience. I had a consultation with a surgeon at this practice and when I phoned to book the procedure I was informed he had left. I was never contacted or informed about this until I phoned. I proceeded to book another consult for the same procedure and after being told to arrived 10 minutes early I was left waiting 45 minutes to then be led into a consult room and told they still weren't ready for me. I understand things happen but it seems very unprofessional, whilst I was waiting Chick-fil-A was delivered and I feel they could have either rescheduled my appointment for another time or if they truly had been running late all morning they could have phoned. In February of this year, after 4 years of saving for breast implants, I finally got my surgery. At my consultation, Dr. Kim and her staff were amazing. Super friendly, I felt incredibly comfortable, and beyond excited for my new figure. I didn't even see another doctor for a consultation. However, now, I am regretting that decision. Nearly three months after my surgery, my right implant dropped so much that my scar was on the front of my lower breast. I called for an appointment, and when it was decided that I'd need a revision, it took about five phone calls before anyone would call to schedule my surgery. I'm guessing since I wasn't going to be shelling out nearly $8000 for this second surgery. Eventually, I got it scheduled & still had to pay about $700 for hospital visit, etc. I was told my right breast would be repaired so that it would sit as high as my left. Nearly a month and a half later, my implant has again dropped. So much still that my bikini tops sit crooked on my chest and my friend asked "I thought you got that fixed?" after she saw me this past weekend. When I called yet again to be seen by Dr. Kim, Gina (one of her staff members) responded with "ugh, I thought you liked them?" As if I was putting her out by scheduling an appointment. I went in today and was told basically that there was nothing else they would do for me. Dr. Kim said she fixed it already and there's nothing else she will do. As a plastic surgeon, part of their job is to repair and revise. I'm not trying to sway anyone's choice to go with Dr. Kim as their doctor, but if someone would have told me what I know now, I would have went differently. If you're having a first time surgery, I would say to cross your fingers that you get lucky & everything sits and looks perfectly, because if not, you will be saving yet again for a revision from a different doctor, as I am now.

I recently had the lower eyelid blepharoplasty procedure on January 13th with Dr. Marc Sarcia. This was my first time to have cosmetic surgery so I consulted with a few other surgeons that were highly rated but I knew the moment I met Dr. Sarcia that I would be in the best hands with doing this procedure. I cannot say enough how amazing this facility is. Every staff member from this establishment was beyond caring and informative. Dr. Sarcia really took his time with me explaining every detail about the procedure and on what to expect before and after during the consultation. He made me feel so comfortable and confident with his work. This process was very nerve wrecking for me but they really went beyond of making me feel confident that this where I should get the procedure. Every other place I went for a consultation has no comparison with SGK aesthetics. I didn't need scar revision surgeries until Dr. Kim. I didn't need breast reconstructive surgeries until Dr. Kim. I didn't have one visible scar on either one of my breasts until Dr. Kim botched my breast implant exchange surgery and scarred and mangled my breasts. She LIED in my medical records and made up medical conditions she said I had to have excuses why I ended up this way. She said I had a condition called "Symmastia". (Symmastia is when the breast pockets cross the midline and meet in the middle, lifting the skin off of the sternum.) She NEVER mentioned Symmastia to me. She said in my medical records that she was "Going to try and correct my Symmastia" and that she went into "GREAT DETAIL" with me about the challenges of Symmastia surgery. The first time I ever heard of the word Symmastia was when I read what she wrote in my medical records AFTER she botched my surgery. 1.) Why did she not take pictures of my Symmastia condition? 2.) Not probable she would charge me nothing, zero to perform this complicated & risky surgery. 3.) I did not consent to her performing Symmastia surgery on me and I never signed a consent form for it. There was no Symmastia. She just made it up. If Dr. Kim had told me I had such a serious condition, I would have gotten a 2nd opinion from another doctor. She mentioned several times in my medical records that I "complained about pain and firmness in my right breast". I NEVER complained about pain or firmness in my right breast. The reason I went to Dr. Kim was that my LEFT breast saline implant was leaking. In the medical records she claimed I had "Grade IV capsular contracture". Grade IV capsular contracture is defined as "The breast is hard, painful and looks abnormal". Once again, she lied about a condition I had as another excuse she could use to justify her botching the surgery. There are more things she added or altered in my medical records AFTER she botched my surgery but are too many to list in this review. If Dr. Kim did nothing wrong, then why would she need to lie and make things up? As a result of her lying in my medical records, she denied me the opportunity of getting a true assessment from another doctor of how and why this happened to me. Any doctor reading my medical records from Dr. Kim would just be giving their opinion based on her lies. On my 1st follow-up visit after my surgery, I told Dr. Kim I was concerned about the horrible, deep and bloody wound she caused on my upper right breast. She just ignored my concern and walked out of the room. She avoided me after that and let her nurses handle all my follow up visits. Dr. Kim has her surgery room right in her office. My surgery was scheduled for 3:30 to 5:00 PM. I had to sign a document that if my ride was not there by 5:00 to pick me up, I would be charged $500.00. I have always thought that the reason she botched my surgery was because she was rushed, sloppy and careless. I now know she is obviously unskilled. I arrived for my appointment at 1:30 and sat in the reception area until right around 3:30. Then they took me in the back to get prepped for surgery. What I recall was that everyone was rushed. Dr. Kim stuck her head in the door for about 10 seconds while I was getting prepped for surgery. She looked at me, did not say anything and then shut the door. That is the only time I remember seeing Dr. Kim that day. Dr. Kim has RUINED my life in so many ways. The mental pain along with the physical embarrassment & shame she has caused me is something I deal with everyday. She has also cost me thousands of dollars. I had to pay Dr. Kim thousands of dollars for her botched surgery. I had to pay thousands of dollars to another doctor to have the implants removed... the ones she had just put in just a few months earlier. It will now cost me thousands of dollars to have scar revision and breast reconstructive surgeries...which I can't afford. She destroyed the body part she was supposed to enhance then lies to cover up botching the surgery. It's unthinkable, but true.

I would like to share my opinion for the procedures I had with SGK. I did my due diligence online to find the right surgeon to do my skin removal after losing a significant amount of weight, Dr. Kim was my choice and after having the consultation I and my husband were very impressed and decided she was the one. All the staff and Dr. Kim were spot on and very attentive to every need. I was originally scheduled for March 23rd but due to the civid-19 shutdown had to reschedule 3 times and actually had on May 13th, but the staff was so helpful through all of it. Surgery went very well and after 3 months I am so pleased with the results. Dr. Kim and all the nurses were excellent, I hold great respect and praise for all they did for me during the 1st six weeks of recovery. I will and have referred friends and family to SGK for any aesthetic needs. In my book they are a top rate facility.

The patient coordinators walk you through all the necessary information that needs to be gathered as well as share information about your upcoming services. Dr. Kim is a true professional plastic surgeon and I am very happy with the result of blepharoplasty on my eyes. I had problems with my eye lids and the surgery was necessary in order to avoid any complications of having cataract surgery in near future. One thing I love is if your appointment is at 10:30 they are calling you back no later than 10:35 and I have had several appointments (follow ups and my initial visit) . This is my 3rd time having my breast done . The first 2 times by another doctor and I hated them . I told her exactly what I wanted and she gave me just that. I can honestly say you get what you pay for. The entire Facility is beautiful. I do like that they do everything in house.
