This was my first experience with Dr. Salameh’s office and it will not be the last. From the first phone call;to the office visit and procedure, the staff were so very sweet and professional. I came in to see about injections for TMJ. The nurse practitioner Stephanie was so nice and personable. She explained all the details and did a wonderful job. I could tell a difference that very same day. I had less grinding of my teeth and my jaw didn’t hurt as it had been prior to the injections. I am absolutely thrilled with the entire process. I had lipo 360 and a BBL. I do not handle pain well and I always seem to struggle with having any procedure. This has been the total opposite! This has been the easiest surgery and recovery I’ve ever had. I have had absolutely no pain with the procedures. I haven’t taken a pain pill since the day after my procedure. I wouldn’t be investing in the treatments if I did not care about my appearance; training is a big deal when it comes to these heavy duty lasers. I discovered I have lipedema about a year ago and over the past 6 months I researched the disease and contacted several doctors. Dr Salameh rose to the top due to 1) he is a board certified plastic surgeon 2) has his own facility to do procedures in 3) he has been treating lipedema patients for several years with liposuction 4) his staff is incredibly responsive, even answering the questions I asked over the weekend! 5) location - it is drivable for me. 6) MANY, MANY positive, independent reviews on Google and Facebook. I am currently undergoing laser hair removal treatments at Salameh MedSpa, and I could not be more impressed! I have excess facial hair, due to my PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome. I decided to try laser, because I was tired of being so ashamed of my face, and also because I could tell noticeable differences in my skin texture, due to shaving and plucking every day. I’m so glad I did! I have been working with RN Jordan, and she is phenomenal. She made me feel so comfortable, and for once I didn’t feel like the odd woman out, with all the hair on her face, as she assured me how many women she treats daily. She explained how the hair goes through growth cycles, what to expect, and together we came up with a treatment plan for me. She was so incredibly gentle, and comforting. I saw results from the very first treatment. I am now 6 treatments in, and I see such a difference. I barely recognize my skin, it’s made a complete 180°! Not only am I hair free, the texture, size of my pores, and brightness of my skin have all changed. I feel like I glow when I see my natural skin in the mirror. Britney reached out to me on 12/24 to apologize about the encounter discussed below. I was given products to try and a complimentary treatment. The office was closed on 12/24, but Britney met me at the office to give me the products and schedule my appointment for the treatment. I didn’t expect that and I really appreciate it. I had a hair consultation 12/22 at 1:00. Nobody called me at 1:00 for my consultation. I waited for almost 20 minutes before I called the office to see if someone was going to call me. Britney called soon after my phone call with the office. We discussed two different procedures that could possibly work for me. She also told me about hair products they sell at the office. She said she did not know if the shampoo and conditioner would work on “curly hair.” Which I did not think made sense. I am a black woman with natural hair. I am assume she meant she did not know how it would work on a natural black person’s hair. She could have just said that. She misquoted me on the price of the hair serum. She said it was 40 something dollars. I get there to purchase it and it is $88. With tax it was a little over 90 dollars. I told the person what Britney quoted me and she went to check with Britney. She came back and said she was sorry and that Britney did not have the price in front of her when I talked to her. Forty something dollars to $88 is a significant difference. Britney should have been better prepared. During my consultation, Britney took the time to look for a picture of a black man that had a hairline similar to mine, so I could see his results. I am not a black man. I would have felt better if she would shown me results that a woman had.
