First off I would like to give credit to the fact that the office staff and the Dr were very professional. I liked that the surgical facility was on site. I do believe that Dr Freeman actually did care about my concerns. My -2 stars were all about results. I had a breast reduction. I'm a marathon runner so for me the smaller the better. Dr Freeman told me that breast reduction patients are the highest rate of satisfaction. Also he told me that the smallest we could get was a large C. I wasn't happy to hear that but took a breath and agreed. I ended up with a very large D. Also, I thought with a reduction there would be some element of a "lift". Not AT ALL so. I have the same super droopy breasts only a bit smaller, and one nipple round and the other a very extreme oval. Aesthetics were secondary to me but still mattered somewhat for the price. Functionally this was almost non-beneficial to me. I will have to go somewhere else when I can save up another $8000 to have this done again. End of the day with all that money and all the healing down time it was not worth it since I really didn't get what I wanted.

Having a highly trained, knowledgeable practitioner in Idaho Falls was wonderful. His bed side manner is also 5 ????. I had to have a scar revised because my skin was so thin, he went above and beyond to fix the area. I wish we still lived in Idaho so I could go to his practice for skin care treatments. Great experience- I have spent the last few years working out very hard at the gym. While I’m proud to say I lost 30 pounds and made my goal weight, I still could not lose the loose skin around my stomach. I was very nervous on getting a tuck but after talking with Dr. Freeman and his staff I decided to get it done. They are great at answering all your questions and follow ups. I got the procedure done and couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend Dr. Freeman and his staff. Note: Make sure to follow all after care instructions you are given. They know what they are talking about and you will delay your healing time if you don’t follow their instructions on down time.

As I was out of town and not close to my usual Doctor, I discovered this business through reviews. As I was going through the treatment process it became apparent that the high standard of care with my usual Doctor was lacking at this office. I am very unhappy with the treatment I received from a clinician when I received botox. (this was not my first time receiving botox, but was my first and last time at Freeman) A very rough application, walked out with an ice pack on my face. Terrible reaction for a month afterwards. Freeman won't be accountable at all. Asked for a partial refund which they would not approve. Don't recommend this place! Take your face to another place!

If you are someone seeking to have your first procedure done, I imagine your fears are: what if something goes wrong? What if I look terrible afterwards. Unfortunately, this is exactly what happened to me at Freeman Plastic Surgery. I saw Dr Freeman for a simple breast augmentation, not seeking anything crazy but just to restore myself to my pre child bearing shape, to which he boasted to me several times that he performs “hundreds every year!” Ok then I’m not sure how I ended up with so many problems that could have been prevented (as told to me by another surgeon who saw me when I completely lost faith in Dr Freeman) My surgery did not go well and I truly feel that it was not because I was a particularly difficult case but that he just didn’t take the time to preform the surgery correctly. My first surgery lasted barely 45 minutes (I was told it would be an hour to an hour and a half, it’s not like I was getting the oil changed on my car, I was good with him taking his time!)... I started to really worry 3 weeks post surgery when things were looking absolutely terrible.... he ended up attempting a revision 2 and a half months after my first surgery which did improve things, but I still had problems and ultimately had to seek help elsewhere. I suffered so much, and feel it was needlessly if he had just cared a little more about me as a patient. Ultimately he refunded my money which is more than a lot of surgeons would do. But I had to go through multiple surgeries and am still needing more to try to correct the problems that HE caused. It CRUSHED my self esteem. I seriously became so depressed and had anxiety attacks neither of which I had ever dealt with in my life. Also I feel that he and his staff lack empathy. At one point he thought I might have an infection, when I was concerned and saddened he responded “I’m really surprised your reacting like that... some people have infections that put them in the hospital”... umm, I’m sorry that I have looked absolutely horrible for months and have been extremely worried and literally shed one tear in your presence! And after my revision when I pointed out another really serious concern he looked me in the eye and simply said “I think you should get them out, you just haven’t seemed as happy as most patients.” This was two weeks post my second surgery in two and a half months! What on earth was I supppsed to be happy about at that point?! That aside, you couldn’t have encouraged me a tiny bit?! Told me to hang in there, I’ve been through a lot, let’s give it time and if there was more to be done then we could look into that later on?! He didn’t even bother to see me or talk to me after either of my surgeries even though he told me he would talk to me after the revision and tell me how invasive he had to go and what the problem had been. Nope nothing, I ended up messaging his assistant that night and was like so, Am I supposed to come in again or what??? His staff always seemed super annoyed with me when I had difficulty getting in on his preferred days.. sorry but I am a working mother with four young kids and had to have a ton of extra follow ups due to the complications and was coming from out of town, I really think they could have been a little more understanding! What did happen was I was treated like an impossible to please problem that everyone wanted to just go away... Women, there are other surgeons out there that charge less and care a whole lot more. Also I know that a lot of people have had a good experience with Dr Freeman, but it sucks being the one who wasn’t worthy of his time and best efforts ???? This is pretty long but it’s the truth and there is a whole lot of shady things that occurred that I don’t even have space to go in to...I am grateful he gave me my money back since I’m having to pay another surgeon to correct all my issues, but you know what would have been better? Spending 20 more minutes in my first surgery and making sure everything was done correctly.

I used my sisters Jane Foundation that she had gotten from Freeman Plastic Surgery and loved it more then any other foundation I have ever had. My sister ended up surprising me with my own a month or so later! Most recently I used the Color Science Sunscreen in Hawaii, and loved it just as much as the Jane foundation! I am fair skinned and burn very easily, but while I was in Hawaii as long as I applied this sunscreen I didn’t get sun burned one bit! Very disappointed Although I have never been here I have tried to get in for over a year. I had one insurances he first time I called over a year ago. They told me to call my insurance and see if they would pay for the procedure I would like done. It took me a while to get that information. I then bought a second insurance and now I have double insurance just to have this surgery. I called them again in January and told them I have two insurance's and I have the coverage to pay for the surgery. Before they would even put me on the schedule they asked me my weight and height. As a RN in a local emergency room I have never heard of this type of practice. Mind you I have referred several patients to this particular practice because I have heard such great reviews about them and seen their work. They told me in order to make an appointment I needed to lose weight. I was very disappointed because I was never told that the first time I called but I thought we’ll it’s probably good to lose some weight. I had to have a BMI of I believe 32-34 I can’t remember the exact. However In the last 6 months I have lost 55 pounds and finally at 210. Which is in the 32 BMI category. I called them today and tried to schedule an appointment. I was asked the same questions is this for medical reasons YES. Does your Insurance cover your procedure and have you been pre approved YES. I was told the soonest they could get me in is November. I’m only planning on being double insured for this procedure which means I will cancel this insurance in December. But I didn't tell them that. I said ok sounds great. Then the next question is how tall and how much do you weigh? I told them with excitement because I accomplished their goal and frankly my goal too! They denied me again! She said I was obese and not in the range that Dr. Freemen asks for. And before they put me on the schedule I would have to have a BMI of 30. I said I have been trying to get In For over a YEAR I have done everything you have asked For. I have gone through the hoops you asked of me to get my insurance to pay. I bought a second premium. I have lost the weight to your specifications and you won’t even put me on the schedule until I hit your goal and I am at the goal you told me? She politely said I’m sorry but the doctor changed the qualifications again. I said ok thank you I will just go somewhere else. You see I have severe back problems from my large chest. I medically need it done because my shoulders are separating and my back is deteriorating. As an OR and ER nurse I am here to say this is very poor practice if someone needs something done for medical reasons only to turn them down due to a BMI number over the phone without reviewing their medical history, seeing the patient or performing an examination. It is an erroneous act of poor patient care. I WILL NEVER refer one single patient to this practice. A patient should never feel ashamed to get help for a medical purpose because they are overweight. Especially if their breasts are so large it is hard to perform most tasks due to pain. Even though I lost the weight my chest size did not change one inch. I’m not asking for anything cosmetic only to fix a problem that I have suffered for years and finally can afford to have it done.I guess in this medical practice they only want people who will meet their standards and that is to be perfect and thin and without any complications. I’m VERY disappointed because I did hear great things about them but my experience was absolutely opposite and it’s sad that I will no longer give business to them. It sounds like they are busy enough though. The only reason I wrote a review is so someone doesn’t waste a year like I did and pay two premiums for insurance for nothing. I will get it done somewhere else. Also I don’t want anyone to feel like the girl In the movie Pretty Woman where she basically felt like she wasn't good enough just by her looks alone even though she had the money to buy the product. My pictures are just a true reflection of what they didn’t see over the phone.

The entire staff is very knowledgeable, recommending the proper procedure for our stated concerns. We never feel procedures are suggested that would not be of value for us.
