I had two interactions with the same receptionist who is very unprofessional. They forced me to provide my insurance information even though I was only there for a consult and was going to pay cash. This is an issue for me because I work for my insurance and did not want any of my information sent in. The same receptionist it violated my rights as a patient and as I was discussing my concerns with her said out loud at the desk in front of everyone "well if (then named the procedure) were covered then every woman would be here!" I was humiliated. My appointment itself was fine, but I will not be going back an suggest you stay away!

Dr. Wilke is an artist with an exceptional bedside manor which was so important as Covid protocols didn't allow anyone with me the day of my surgery. I'm 29 and had an upper blepharoplasty done by Dr. Nathan Leigh and the whole process was so easy and painless. From scheduling my consultation to having the sutures removed, everything went smoothly. I had the surgery done on a Monday and the sutures removed the following Friday (today actually) with no bruising and very minimal swelling. I didn't need to take any pain medication either. I am very happy with the results! Dr. Leigh and the team at EPS did an excellent job and made the whole process feel very relaxed and routine. I never once felt anxious about anything. The front desk staff and nurses are all incredibly kind. Would recommend!

I never liked my nose. It always felt too big for my face. And though that insecurity may seem overtly superficial, choosing to have rhinoplasty was a decision that changed my confidence both inside and out. I only went here for an initial consultation (appx 2 hour appt) and I found a lot of the staff unprofessional and their recommendations contradicted another office's. The lady in the front made several comments about arriving 2 min late, I ended up waiting around a lot, and the doctor couldn't explain why he recommended what he did. When I tried to ask specific questions around their recommendations, I was given very broad answers. Their approach isn't caring, involved and as professional as I was expecting. This being said, I chose to take my business elsewhere.

My initial consultation went very well; Everyone I interacted with was nice and friendly, and I felt very comfortable with the surgeon I met. We decided to send a prior authorization to my insurance and I was told it would take 4-6 weeks to receive that back. After I waited over 6 weeks, I contacted the financial consultant and was told it was never written by the surgeon and therefore never sent to my insurance. However, she told me it would be sent in that day. I waited another 6 weeks and still have received nothing from my insurance and no response to my email inquiry. I was eager to have the surgery done and ready to pay OOP if it was denied by insurance. Completely wasted my time.

I chose Dr. Wilke because I had such a wonderful experience with him about ten years ago when I had a MOHS surgery to remove precancerous cells and was left with a gaping hole in one of my nostrils. Eight years ago I made the decision to have breast implants. I had a consultation with Dr. Wilke and he was very knowledgeable and informative of the process and procedure. Dr. Stewart is undoubtedly one of the best plastic surgeons in Minnesota. I met with two other surgeons before deciding to have my breast augmentation with her and she was a clear standout. Here is what makes Dr. Stewart special: 1. She met with me personally at my consultation appointment and any time I had questions before the surgery. I was able to speak with her when needed and I was always encouraged to come in for an appointment. Other doctors had me speak with assistants or said they would not meet with me until 2 weeks before surgery. I was meeting with Dr. Stewart months before surgery and she always made time for me! 2. Dr. Stewart uses imaging software to give you a demonstration of how your body could look after surgery. This allowed me to make an educated decision and see how differences in implants would look on me. 3. I never, ever felt pressured to “go bigger” in deciding my implant size and Dr. Stewart was the only surgeon who understood my vision. While many may seek plastic surgery for more extreme results (which is ok), I was hoping for more subtle results and she respected my vision and helped me achieve what I wanted. Dr. Stewart takes a modern approach to plastic surgery and cosmetology: she is honest, realistic, and understands the value of natural results. I have recommended Dr. Stewart to anyone who asks and she is truly wonderful to work with. Kind, incredibly smart, and a great surgeon. I am so thankful to have had her as my surgeon!

I got a Mommy Makeover at EPS and Dr. Wilke was amazing! I highly recommend Dr. Wilke if you are thinking about any of the procedures that are covered in a mommy makeover. Dr. Wilke was gracious to answer all my questions before the surgery, I called multiple times because I read more about the procedure and had more questions ????. He always told me to call again if I had more questions. I wanted to get a breast lift and he told me I had enough volume and wouldn’t need any implants. I am so glad now that I didn’t get any implants. He was right and I am thankful that he didn’t push extra procedures on me. My tummy tuck and liposuction results are also amazing. I went through the surgery on May 19th so in many ways still recovering but I was happy on day 2 when I took a shower. And every day since, I have felt that it was worth it. My first consult was virtual and after reviewing my photos she had mentioned fat grafting for the look I was looking to achieve. I wanted to stay the same size, just a perkier and fuller look like I had prior to kids. My second consult was in person which we then shifted gears to lift with augmentation. After 3 pregnancies and breastfeeding a total of 4.5 years between my 3 children my tissue was shot. She then suggested reduction of my natural tissue otherwise it would sort of hang off the implant. I didn’t even try on implants knowing the look would be different with the reduction. Surgery day came end of June. Check in process was amazing! The team of nurses and doctors made everything so easy and comfortable. Dr. Stewart explained the process and we had a great conversation prior to the surgery. She chose the perfect size implant. They aren’t too big or too small. The results are more than anything I could have dreamed of! I never thought I would have breasts like these again! Fast forward to post op! I have had great experiences following the surgery. After care has been phenomenal! When I have had concerns I can simply text the number with photos and their team gets back to you right away. Dr. Stewart was texting me back with my concerns as well. I 100% recommend anyone looking into this surgery to go see Dr. Stewart. She is simply put, amazing! I am so thankful to have met and pursued this with Dr. Stewart and her team at Edina Plastic Surgery. Prior to my consult with her I consulted with another surgery center. I could not be happier! I have lived with a chest deformity my entire life. I had to have multiple surgeries when I was in high school which helped correct some breathing troubles, but wasn't a procedure that helped create a feminine figure. I've been flat chested my entire life and the breast tissue that I did have created gaping and difficulties in finding bras that fit right. I never wanted large breasts, rather I needed to be able to fit into my clothes and feel better about myself. At first, I went through a big hospital network given my condition and the plastic surgeon was nice enough but kept encouraging me to go bigger and told me that he could use my existing scars to input the implant. I sat on his recommendation for over a year, went back again and then decided I needed a second opinion. This lead me to Edina Plastic Surgery and a consult with Dr. Philbin. He was knowledgeable, confident and knew how to handle a case like mine. He never once pressured me into sizing and never lied about the results I would experience - it wasn't going to be perfect with my deformity but he could get it pretty darn close! I went back for a second and third consult to feel good about the sizing and their technology really helped visualize the end result. I loved that! The surgery was a little scary because of COVID. I was all by myself, but the staff is fantastic and everyone took such great care of me. After the surgery was done, I went home and healed and it was super easy. I had very little pain and after about a month, I was back to normal. My implants were smaller than most, but no one can tell I've had anything done but me. My confidence has never been higher. I love EPS and I would recommend it to anyone!!

Extremely unprofessional and rude staff. I went in for a consult for a breast reduction and the surgeon was kind and professional but everyone else I interacted with was extremely rude. They had false advertising on consultation fees and they were just not very friendly. When I got the call that the reduction was denied from the insurance company , the patient coordinator didn’t seem to care at all and had no interest in trying again and she just suggested to pay for the whole surgery. I was only told during my appointment that I would be paying for the biopsy during the reduction surgery and never told about any consultation fees. I will not be coming here for when I get the surgery because I couldn’t have felt more uncomfortable somewhere. Hopefully many don’t have this experience!!

So great to be confident again! After having two children very close together, I worked very hard to lose all of my baby weight; after surpassing my goal pre-baby weight, my body just was not the same. Earlier this year I had a very successful breast lift completed with Dr. Philbin but wanted to try a little harder on my abs/mommy tummy before having surgery. I worked and worked and with no results decided I did indeed need Dr. Philbin's help to fix my diastasis recti and remove the skin hanging over my C-section scar.
