I am 65 years old. Spanning over 20 years, I recently had my 5th procedure with Dr Peterson. It all started with having been referred and to the Okanagan Skin Care Centre and their amazing team, which is affiliated with Dr Peterson and in the same building. I had mentioned to my practitioner that I was feeling frustrated with having “saddle bags” which would not go away no matter how much I lost weight or worked out. They very enthusiastically referred me to Dr Peterson. From the front end staff, to the nurses, to Dr Peterson himself, all I have ever experienced is kindness, compassion and respect. Beyond that, the large bright offices as well as his private and fully-equipped operating rooms and recovery area are exceptionally clean, bright and comfortable with amazing views. The RNs in the OR area also can’t be beat. Their close relationships and working protocol are the best I’ve seen, (and I’ve seen a lot!). Again, the professionalism combined with genuine care and empathy is the best. Beyond the saddlebag situation, (which allowed me to wear jeans without having to deal with the huge gap at the waist due to the width of my upper thighs,) I have had Dr P perform a Thermage treatment, (an amazing skin treatment that works to stimulate the collagen which produces gorgeous tightening and illuminating effects that last for years), I’ve had a little liposuction around my belly, eventually a lower face lift and my eyes refreshed. My last procedure was to remove my 30 year old breast implants, eliminate excess skin and install new implants that appear smaller and lifted. I am beyond ecstatic with the results. As his co-workers describe him, Dr Peterson is a great listener as well as creative artist as much as he is a surgeon and I believe that makes all the difference to achieving the results his patients desire. (I am an interior designer and view creativity as important as skill and I think that’s what sets Dr Peterson apart.) Dr P is truly a gem among physicians and I consider him, as well as the skin care clinic, an essential part of my emotional health and well-being. I feel very fortunate I found them and would encourage anyone - male, female or other - who may be considering enhancement surgery to discuss their options with Dr Peterson and his incredible team. I didn’t know really what to expect, even though everything was explained well to me, and I knew I was in good hands with Dr.Peterson. I thought things might have a more invasive outcome for me because I often think this way in general, after all it is surgery, however; .after the procedure, I was pleasantly surprised to find out the opposite. I healed well and I was quite comfortable. Dr.Peterson does exceptional work and he and his team go far beyond to look after you. I’d do it all over again in the future. Don’t hesitate to get what you are wanting to get done, it’s totally worth it and the results are amazing. I also had breast surgery at least 20+ years ago with Dr. Peterson and I had the same great experience. My breasts are still amazing. I’d do that all over again too if I needed too.

After multiple consultations with other specialists, I could have gone to many different surgeons in Vancouver but I chose to come to Peterson as I preferred the look of his before/after portfolio and have friends who had great experiences with him and his staff. It has barely been a week since I underwent the procedure but I had such a great experience with him and every member of his office staff that I encountered. Everyone was so kind, helpful and informative during the entire process from the first email I sent, to the day of procedure and my follow up communications. I had a very thorough consultation/implant fitting with Peterson and his assistants which left me feeling fearless and at ease for my surgery the next day. The facility was immaculate and impressive. I have a ways to go with my healing yet but so far I am very happy with my aesthetic results and the care I’ve received. I would recommend Dr. Peterson to anyone considering a cosmetic procedure.

Dr Peterson and his staff were amazing! I travelled 11 hrs from home to see Dr Peterson for my breast augmentation consult and happily travelled back to Kelowna again for my surgery. I cannot say enough good things about the staff at this clinic. Laurie at the front is amazing to deal with - I had contacted the clinic multiple times as my surgery was approaching and Laurie was always happy to talk and very personable. The consult was very informative and didn’t feel rushed in my decision on size of implants. Pre op I was a 130lbs 5’4 and 34B - I decided to go with 475CC and am 3 weeks post op and very happy with the results. If I could do anything again I would probably go a bit bigger maybe 525 but I am still very pleased with my new babies! At my consult I made it very clear I didn’t want an extreme look and wanted them to look fairly natural - Dr Peterson agreed that the 475cc implants would provide me that look and suited my wider frame which it definitely did. After waking up from surgery I had the sweetest nurse that sat with me the entire time and took such good care of me - I loved that it was just 1 nurse to help you recover as it was very personal and felt more comfortable that way. I can’t remember the nurses name but I remember she’s from Winnipeg and likes tacos LOL - my kind of gal :) Post op at 3 weeks I’m a 34DD and they’ve already settled so nicely! I could not be happier with the results, and I am glad I went with doctor Petersen as opposed to two other surgeons I met with before making up my mind.
