I can’t believe that I forgot to post my review about Dr Gary Cox and the staff at Associates in Plastic Surgery. Dr Cox and his staff were so kind and knowledgeable when answering my questions about Breast Augmentation! He gave me honest advice about what size implant and which brand would work for me. I’m pleased to say that I followed his advice and two years later I have no COMPLAINTS!

Dr.Jenna Bourgeois was a wonderful doctor from my experience getting a breast augmentation. She’s so kind, professional, and will help you achieve the desired look you are wanting. She called me hours after I got home to check up on me & her staff is wonderful as well and ensured I had the best of care. The surgery day was so calm and I couldn’t have asked for better care from her team. She is also opening up a new practice in the beginning of July so I encourage you to look into that for all your cosmetic needs. Amazing surgeon & human all around!

I went to see Dr. Bourgeois for a breast reduction and she did such an amazing job! She was very professional, kind and honest. She informed me of all my options before I made my final decision, and after speaking with her I knew I was going to be treated with the utmost care. Originally my review was pleased until I was hospitalized as a result of an infection caused by the surgery. I had to undergo a second surgery to clear it as well as remove a blood clot that was originally told to me as a hematoma that would "absorb itself." The reduction surgery I asked Dr. Dean for was supposed to be the best thing I'd ever done. Now, I can't think of anything else I regret more.

Dr. Freel & his nurse Becky are AMAZING. The only problem I have is with the receptionists at the front desk. They can be very rude at times, especially Jennifer, she’s the worst. Even on the phone when I was setting my appointments. They seem very nonchalant and they don’t have a welcoming attitude. They’re energy is very dull and negative.

Dr. Cox is one of the best plastic surgeons in Louisiana! His bedside manner is amazing, along with his staff willing to help with any questions before and after my surgeries. He has done 2 procedures on me one being a breast reduction and the other a tummy tuck. Both times he personally called me to check on me the day after my surgery. He is also easy to get in touch with after hours which was a relief for me. I would choose him and his staff for any of plastic surgery needs!

Dr. Freel is an amazing surgeon. He listened to what my goals were and didn't try to pressure me into anything else. He made me feel very comfortable through the whole process and made sure I understood all of my options before making a final decision. His nurse and the surgery staff were very accommodating and I felt safe and confident going into the surgery. I would not recommend Dr. John Dean to anyone. Diagnosis: failed breast reconstruction. Cost a fortune and years to finally get fixed by a competent Doctor. Also, he lies to cover his mistakes, tells you it will be a year before you get your final result (so you can't sue him, if it's awful). He is very cowardly and will not face me at a medical review panel to discuss the mistakes that were made with my care. Hides behind lawyers and uses technicalities to protect himself. This is not a Doctor who stands behind his work. There are doctors out there who will, keep looking.

VETERANS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. I am a veteran with an issue that the V.A has approved to treat. Associates in plastic surgery is a VA authorized facility. Veterans do not BOTHER with this place. They will give you the run around and deny you care. They are not about helping veterans. I have tried to call the office manager to clear the issue,- NO ANSWER, tried to call the nurse- NO ANSWER, tried to call their insurance person-NO ANSWER. Anyone who is a veteran that deals with community care knows how long and hard it is to get an authorization to be treated in the community. So now I'm stuck redoing the authorization again, going back to square one cause JENNA didn't even take a second look. I feel incredibly sorry for the front desk staff because they have to deal with the incompetence of the other people in this facility. FYI veterans, To get to this point it has taken me 8 months from PCM-to CC care consult, with 3 of those months being thrown around by this surgery center. So now I'm back to square 1 with the VA authorization process, and the funny part is that JENNA Bourgeois WONT give me a valid reason to why they denied my claim? Be sure there will be a V.A complaint given. No company should be allowed to take care of veterans if they are going to deny their claims and blatantly tell a veteran over the phone that they are not authorized to treat veterans. I was referred to Dr. Dean and had a breast reduction. This was one of the best decisions I've made. Dr. Dean did a wonderful job, it changed how I feel about myself. Dr. Dean put my satisfaction as his priority. He is very warm and easy to talk to, he listened and did what I asked. I started as a G cup and wanted to be smaller but also wanted to stay proportioned to body size since I am not a small figured woman. I am now a full C cup and could not be more pleased with the results of my procedure, so pleased that I went back to him for a tummy tuck and was treated with the same expertise and poise as was given the first time. Most would not look at elective plastic surgery as life changing but with the right physician and staff, it can be. The office staff is very professional and helpful as well. I felt as though as I was in good competent hands and glad I chose Dr. Dean. I have recommended him to many friends and family and will continue to do so.

Once you hear ominous words like abnormality, mastectomy, and reconstruction, your mind transforms into a flood gate of questions and concerns. Once the dust settles and you have started to digest your situation, your need to TRUST someone with your care rapidly becomes a desperation. Anyone facing these circumstances understands the magnitude of this decision.....(the “right choice” decision)....thus the reason behind this lengthy review. Herein lies the answers you may be searching for.... This (our) story is unique in that we have the pleasure of being under the care of Dr. Andrew Freel as sisters. One with a breast cancer diagnosis, one with rapidly evolving Atypical cells, both of us testing positive for the breast cancer gene then ultimately both becoming double mastectomy (with immediate reconstruction) patients. Obviously, both of us had different issues but the search for hope of being reasonably whole again was definitely a part of our common ground. We consulted with several different surgeons before deciding to embark on our journey with Dr. Freel and his team. It is an understatement to say he represents his chosen profession well. In our opinion, this New Orleans native brings the best of Louisiana and helps make Baton Rouge reputable. We drive hundreds of miles to entrust our body canvas to this expert. Lets begin with initial impression: Professional, yet friendly. Knowledgeable, yet honest. Caring, yet no “BS”! Organized, yet you are made to feel you come first. He obviously embraces impeccable work ethics and is exemplary when it comes to dedication. You do not have to be associated with him long before you see he has a strong love and passion for his work. Now after eight (8) plus months with this practice, we feel we can share the more than apparent. Considering true, personal care, it is vital that you feel not only hope but safe. You know you have found compassion when you find a confident physician that cares about the whole mix of fears, hopes and desires. And, on an even deeper level, when you find a listener that actually makes eye contact as your heart bleeds and your emotions have hijacked a wild roller coaster and is headed anywhere but where they should be! THAT is the difference! The difference for us that resulted in no regrets. When it comes to accolades, Dr. Freel is humble, so we are not sure he realizes the importance of his role in this most special journey of ours. To say the least, Dr. Freel and his staff have been instrumental in turning our ordeal into an unexpected blessing. Now not only is he proud of his work, but so are we! I had the distinct pleasure of choosing Dr. Jenna Bourgeois for my upper and lower (blepharoplasty) eyelid surgery. I had never had any type of plastic surgery before so I was a little reluctant. Upon being greeted by the staff and meeting Dr. Bourgeois I was immediately placed at ease. I felt like I was talking to family rather than someone I had never met before. Everything was explained in detail and any questions I had relative to the surgery were answered. From the first visit to the follow up visit after surgery, I have never had a more pleasant experience. Dr. Dean is an amazing surgeon but the Mickey Mouse outfit running his office is the absolute worse. I was billed 800 after my surgery. I sent my debt card info on their invoice. My card was charged 2x. I contacted my bank and they urged me to have APS fix their mistake bc if the bank disputes the charge it cld take 10 days and my acct is frozen. I called the office 3x this week begging a pleading to fix my acct so I cld gave money for Thanksgiving groceries. They refused to fix it. So I'm having to dispute through the bank I hope the Office Manager and accountant that did this to me have a wonderful Thanksgiving. If you use this place DON'T pay with a debt/credit card info through invoice ....they'll steal your money. I confidently believe they didn't help me reverse their charge intentionally

I love everything about this place. Ladies at the front are so nice and always friendly! I rarely get to sit down before I get called to “Come On Down” and it always feels like a visit with friends! Great atmosphere!
