For years I have thought about breast augmentation. I did my research and I found Dr. Shenker and his amazing staff at The Cosmetic Surgery Clinic. walking in to the beautiful establishment was breath taking. So clean and beautifully decorated. Made me feel like I was at home. I felt so welcomed and comfortable as soon as I walked in the door. Starting with the friendly front desk staff! Then I met the patient coordinator Jenna Fletcher. She was so patient and caring. I asked a ton of questions, of course, and not once did she make me feel silly or that I was being annoying. Nope, she smiled the whole way, had a beautiful personality with a wonderful sense of humour. But on top of that she was so professional. Then the “Magic Man” walked in. Dr Shenker! He was very much the same. Super friendly and took his time with me. All my questions were answered. Not only did he take his time but he also saw me more than once to talk about ALL my options. He gently helped me make the perfect decision regarding all aspects of breast augmentation. Leading up to surgery day I was being contacted by the staff letting me know how to prepare and any other questions were answered. Surgery day was when I met the nursing staff. And I feel bad I don’t remember their names, but being nervous they really helped me stay calm and they were very reassuring. I was chatting with a lovely lady who told me about her experience with Dr Shenker. She said I was in excellent hands and I certainly was!!!! On the operating table the one nurse held my hand and stoked my hair! Chatting and keeping the energy light and relaxed. Then before I knew it I was in the recovery room! Yes there was pain when I went home during recovery but it didn’t last long and I was contacted that night by a nurse to see how I was doing. The next few days I was in the clinic being checked again and lots of communicaton to make sure eveything was proceeding well. I just had my year check up and it was just a wonderful appointment. I was again greeted like an old friend. Dr. Shenker actually came in the room singing! Would I recommend the Cosmetic Surgery clinic in Waterloo? Oh yes 110%!!!!! After the treatment I received at TCSC, it’s safe to say you will definitely have a returning client. I was nervous going in as it was my first procedure ever but I felt awesome leaving. Dr. Schenker treated me with compassion, kindness, and respect. I got a Botox lip flip done and I’m amazed with my results. He took the time to explain everything to me and answered all my questions, and when I felt dizzy after the procedure he got me juice and a cold cloth and asked if I was okay and made sure I was alright to leave. I had one BBL treatment in late January. I had welts on my décolletage after the treatment for several days. It also caused my rosecea and dermatitis to flare for months afterwards. I was able to get a refund for my remaining treatments this week. Dr. Schenker interrupted twice during my consultation and once during my treatment. He just burst into the room every time, without apology. He was not treating me so I am not sure why he did this without my permission. The only shining star was my nurse, Carla, who was very understanding and helpful. P.S. The chairs in the waiting room are extremely uncomfortable.

I am post day 3 Tummy Tuck and Breast Augmentation. I had a consultation with one of the top clinics in Toronto and one here with Dr. Robert Shenker. I chose Dr. Shenker because I felt like I was at home from the moment I arrived just for my consultation. The front staff were very welcoming and Dr. Shenker was incredibly sweet, honest, and very professional. He was very detailed so I left without any questions un-answered. After the consultation I met with Jenna who completes the process (I booked my appt on the spot). Jenna is just the most cheerful and professional person who also walked me through all of the paper work so I knew exactly what I needed. The day of the surgery was amazing. Every single staff member there acted like they knew me forever like I was part of the team. I felt warm, comfy and they eased all of my nerves. They were extremely gentle with me when I woke up from surgery as well. The actual results in just 3 days are pretty amazing. Although I am swollen and bruised I have looked at the incisions and WOW I've never seen a more perfect tummy tuck and breast incision ever and I have been watching videos for over a year of these procedures. Words cannot describe how happy I am. The Cosmetic Surgery Clinic is #1. There is not a Dr. Out there that I would go to over Dr.Shenker. I will recommend them to everyone all day everyday.

I have had cosmetic surgeries and procedures done elsewhere in the past after massive weight loss, and visited the cosmetic surgery clinic for consults about additional corrective procedures. I was absolutely blown away by the difference between consults I had previously attended and the experience I had here. Dr Shenker was the ONLY surgeon who I had spoken with that not only asked detailed questions about my physical health history, but also inquired about my mental and emotional health. Having already had surgeries, I appreciated this gesture so much because no one prepares you for the mental recovery that sometimes must happen as well. I ended up not being a great candidate for the surgery I asked about, but I will definitely be back here when the time is right. On top of that great experience, I see Emily for all of my injectable-beauty needs and I am so happy with her amazing work!! She worked with me to figure out how to make little tweaks to restore my self confidence. She is such a lovely person to spend time with, I don't even mind the needles one bit :)

So disappointed the staff are very reserved and unhelpful. they dont care to answer any questions or clarify anything or help in any shape way or form they are all about money dont care about the client very unfortunate because they were local for me but to bad for them due to the experience for sure not going to do any surgeries here they lost a potential client. Not sure how the surgeons will feel about losing a client who was going to spent 14000 dollars but changed their mind because of the clincal staff. anyways had the absolute worst experience the staff have the worst customer service skills ever wanted to share that with everyone.

I have been meaning to write this review for some time and finally sat myself down to do it. I have had numerous BBL, MicroLaser Peel and now Halo treatments with Natalie Jakobowska, Aesthetic Nurse Specialist and skincare and laser expert at the Cosmetic Surgery Clinic. She is absolutely amazing and the most caring person. She takes the time to make sure you understand everything that is happening and will happen after your procedure. She ensures that the pain is minimal and that you're comfortable while she does her work. Her after care is so awesome. She gives you her email and wants to make sure you are ok. I have not met many people in the medical business who is as caring as she is. Don't hesitate to go to Natalie - she'll take good care of you. And as an aside, I also have had a chance to meet Dr. Shenker who helped me out at a drop of a hat to get rid of a ganglion on my wrist. I was at the reception area and just asked for his opinion ... he took one look at it and said, "come in and we'll take care of it right now." Its no wonder all of his staff are so great ... it's because of great leadership. Thanks Dr. Shenker!

Dr. Shenker and his team are truly wonderful. I had two cysts removed from my head today and considering I had a terrible experience with a previous general surgeon, they made me feel at ease. Dr. Shenker explained the procedure, promised not to shave my head (I have a lot of hair!) and was truly apologetic when he knew I would feel a bit of discomfort/pain with the freezing. The ladies cleaned me up pretty good afterwards since it's hard to predict or control a good scalp bleed. This procedure was 100x better than my last cyst removal and I am so happy I chose to have it done here. I had to go on a wait list to get in but don't let that discourage you as you will not be disappointed with the quality of service and care. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Thank you for everything!

I recently visited The Cosmetic Surgery Clinic for my first ever medical spa treatments. Unsure what to expect walking into a cosmetic surgery practice, I was immediately at ease; the reception staff is welcoming and professional, and the ambiance is warm, comfortable, and clean. It truly is a beautiful clinic! I first met with nurse Majid for a Botox consult, where he took time to explain how Botox treatments work, the benefits, potential risks, and aftercare. He asked me about my areas of concern and provided his medical advice, recommending that we be conservative for my first Botox treatment. At no time did I feel any pressure to proceed with injections, and multiple times Majid asked if I was comfortable or if I had questions. After taking a few photos and illustrating where he would inject and how many units, we proceeded with the treatment, which was quick and painless. Following my Botox treatment, I met with nurse Natalie for my first laser facial. After my pregnancies, and due to sun damage, I had developed some dark age spots and “pregnancy mask” around my forehead and eyes. Natalie spent time discussing my concerns and recommended specific treatments to target these areas. She also provided treatment for some of my other skin blemishes, and shared preventive and aftercare advice. Natalie was very communicative during the procedure and made sure I was comfortable with the laser temperature during all steps. It has been 8 days since my first visit to The Cosmetic Surgery Clinic and my skin has never looked better! My face looks more even, my texture is smooth, and my eyes look brighter. The best part is that I still look and feel like me, just more alive and as young as I feel on the inside. I wish I had done it sooner and am already planning for my next visit back. Thank you to nurses Majid and Natalie for making my first visit so comfortable and informative, and thank you for helping to re-awaken my confidence!

Friday October 4th I had the pleasure of meeting Natalie on a scheduled appt for the first time. As soon as I expressed that I was nervous...within seconds I knew I was in the best care. I had a breast reduction/lypo by Dr Shenker two weeks ago, i feel like my entire life just changed. I still have some healing to do but i have never felt so proud of my own body! I highly recommend The Cosmetic Surgery Clinic. I am going to be very honest in with my words here .. I instantly trusted Dr Shenker because he was different then any other surgeon i have ever met. He was so kind, caring, friendly, happy, he acted like a friend instead of one of those big headed know it all Dr's with an attitude lol. He took his time with me, he listened to what i wanted.. but what i found most impressive was his skill and knowledge. I had a tattoo on my chest. Through the years of gravitation this tattoo became very long and sooooo horrible, i thought for sure id end up with half of a teddy bear tatt. When i woke up and saw my teddy bear tattoo had somehow returned back to its original short self and in a new PERFECT position i was shocked! Another great thing about this clinic is the aftercare. Before i left i was given a direct phone line to Dr Shenker, i was told that if problems should arise after hours to call him directly and he would take care of me. ( luckily i didnt have any problems ) I was also given the nurse Laurens email adress and told i could email her with any questions. Well.. i am a worry wart.. so i have emailed her almost everyday for two weeks with the silliest questions and photos. Lauren responded to me each time within half an hour. She even responded on a saturday!!!! Lauren has taken excellent care of me and i really feel like she is the best nurse ive ever met in my life! I don't say that lightly. The aftercare in a proceedure like this is very important and the fact that this clinic takes the after care so seriously is the reason im already planning my next proceedure ;) TY Dr Shenker, Lauren and the entire team at The Cosmetic Surgery clinic. The first time I met Dr. Shenker for my consulation , he made me feel so comfortable, I felt like I had known him for years. I had my surgery today, and everyone that works at the clinic are so nice and caring. I have never seen a whole team of professionals work so well together. My nurse,the nurses in surgery and Dr. Shenker himself were absolutely remarkable, they talked, laughed with me, the nurse even held my hand until I went to sleep. Fantastic experience. Had Laser treatment today on my eyes. First time experience and I was quite nervous. Sarah and Natalie made me feel safe and well looked after. I have 2 more treatments and although it is uncomfortable, having the both of them take such amazing care of me, I am no longer worried. Also, front of office were lovely. Definitely recommend.

Friendly staff but their treatments for treating facial acne scars overall proved to be ineffective in accomplishing this, especially given the number of ProFractional procedures I underwent over the past couple years (5). For the amount of paid, I was hoping to see significantly more progress over the course of my treatment. Obviously, patient results will vary but in my case, very little has changed. Overall, I feel that I did not get my money's worth. If you are looking to reduce acne scarring, I strongly recommend first researching the types of scarring you have and then to seek out procedures appropriate to your situation. If you do decide to go here, I recommend going through treatments individually instead of purchasing package plans.

I had some scary (for me) cells removed from my back recently. Dr Robert Shenker and staff Nurse Patti AKA (Awesome Patti) were so amazing it changed my feelings about the procedure from scary and anxious to feeling like i just spent time with friends on a weekend! During the short procedure Patti could tell I was anxious and she placed her hand on my shoulder and Dr Shenker played some cool music and chatted to me about fun stuff! I can't even articulate how very warm hearted and attentive everyone was. Ange, Lauren, Dr. Nicholas and of course Dr. Shenker went above and beyond to make me as comfortable as possible. Dr. Shenker and his team at the Cosmetic Surgery Clinic are a class act! From the moment I met with Dr. Shenker to discuss having a breast augmentation, I felt comfortable, relaxed and well informed. I did not feel any pressure to have the procedure, but I knew after consulting with Dr. Shenker that I wanted to move forward with surgery. Jenna and later Barb were fantastic and I was especially appreciative of Barb fielding so many question from both me and my partner. Leading up to the surgery I decided to go ahead with an intraoperative facial peel at which time I met with Lauren. Lauren was fantastic! I had so many questions about the preparation and aftercare of my skin and her response time to my many email messages and reassurance was invaluable. She was also very informative and helpful with my surgical aftercare. The day of surgery I met with the clinic's perioperative nurse Adrianne and the rest of the surgical team. They all continued to make my experience an outstanding one. I also met the patient care coordinator, Jennifer who I had spoken with on the phone a few times prior to surgery day. She was lovely and reassuring. I hold this Doctor and his team in high esteem and would highly recommend them to anyone to meet their surgical and cosmetic procedure wants and needs! I have been visiting Laser Nurse Natalie regularly for over a year to treat my severe acne scarring caused by cystic acne that I had from when I was a teen and a young adult. I have been treated with the Profractional Laser treatments that the clinic offers and I have loved the results that I have been seeing. My scarring is significantly reduced from when I started and every visit I make to the clinic I notice a huge difference in my overall complexion. The one thing that keeps me returning to the clinic other than the results I have been seeing is Natalie has been really amazing! She’s tentative to my needs and she has assured me that she’s going to do everything she can to help me achieve the final results I want! Natalie makes the whole overall experience so comfortable and she has really become a friend to me that I love seeing every time I visit the clinic! I met Dr.shekner in 2010 for a surgery! Above and beyond what I expected ! The staff treated you like they cared not just a person going through the door ! Just had a 10 year follow up and he remembered me , now that shows the kind of clinic it is ! Highly recommend !!!!

I contacted the cosmetic surgery clinic after having facial fillers done at a very well known business. I developed a very serious infection that not only took over my intire face but also left me feeling very sick and ashamed. I Had never had fillers done before and was very excited to feel refreshed. In the beginning when I developed an infection there was no follow up and I never saw a doctor. After many attempts to get help from this clinic I went to the hospital, my doctor and anyone I could think of to help me. I was turned away from everyone. I didn’t know what to do and my infection was spreading every day. I went into the cosmetic surgery clinic and met with Dr Shenker and his staff. They treated me so kind and were so simpathetic and understanding. I cannot tell you what that meant to me because I was ashamed and embarrassed because I chose to have this done and felt that somehow I deserved what happened because I wanted to look refreshed and feel good about myself. After many months of seeing Dr shenker he was able to get the infection under control and I started looking like me again. I wanted to write this review to let anyone considering seeing Dr Shenker or his team know that you will be treated with dignity. You will be cared about and you will look and feel amazing. Procedures that are ment to make you feel great should never turn out the way the did for me. I hope this will help anyone considering a procedure.
