My first mistake in going to Dr. Jacoby was that I accepted a recommendation about him from my family doctor based not on how good he is at his job but based on a friendship between the doctors. My second mistake was prepaying for my surgery. Before surgery we discussed the procedure. Dr. Jacoby drew lines and expained that I would have an incision coming down from each nipple to the bottom of my breasts and another incision horizontally below each breast. During the surgery Dr. Jacoby changed his mind and decided to only due the vertical incision and not the horizontal incision. This made my surgery take about half the original time paid for. I was not given the thousands of dollars I overpaid back even when I asked for the money back In addition I was left with all the stretch marks below the breast that the horizontal incision was meant to remove. In addition my left breast is not shaped nicely and not at all like my right breast.Also there is a purple mark which has never gone away that seems to be a suture or something else introduced during surgery under my left breast. When I booked an appointment to complain about this Dr. Jacoby told me that he thought there was no problem and refused to correct the problem. A decade has gone by and I am still bothered by the facts that I overpaid, that the job was not done as it was originally agreed upon, and that no effort was made to rectify the obvious imperfections. I remain deeply disappointed. I was told that weight fluctuations could effect the breasts over time. This has not bee an issue for me as I remain the same weight I was at the time of surgery and the outcome of the surgery is the same now as it was then. Too bad it wasn't a good job because if it had been I would be pleased to say it stayed the same.

I was recommended by a friend and would absolutely refer people to him. He helped me achieve the final stages what my workouts just couldn’t get me to. I have a very high BMI and desperately needed to get some weight off a back injury. When I contacted Dr Jacoby’s office Cindy was welcoming and so efficient. She quickly answered my questions and set me up with a consultation. Dr Jacoby has a very confident but humble bedside manner and answered all my questions without hesitation. He is super pleasant to deal with and makes you feel very comfortable and safe. I had 19lbs of large over hanging stomach removed by Dr J in the Kamloops hospital and everything is going amazing. I’m on day 3 and I already feel like a new woman. Very little pain and discomfort and I can already tell my scar will be minimal and I was stitched up with care and expertise. I couldn’t be any happier with my experience. I’ve been singing his praises non stop!

It seems all of the bad reviews keep getting deleted. Anyways…. Seven years of being in pain and being told I have to pay full price to fix the implants you put in. Thanks. I’ve been telling you there’s a problem since day one… seven years ago and you didn’t care. 7 years of being in excruciating pain. I asked you to just pull them out last time I was In. I literally didn’t even care about replacing them… I just wanted you to take them out. You sure got my money, didn’t you. Anyways, I found a surgeon to help that I actually trust. Don’t worry about it…. You couldn’t pay me a million dollars to come back and let you touch me with a knife.

Absolutely horrible, i would never ever reccomend him as a surgeon... just as i told him when i left his office... run run far away, he has no care of what he does to women, charges for his mess up... disgusting and all he cares about is making $

Dr Jacoby did an amazing job! Right from the start, I felt comfortable and was treated very well. All my questions were answered, my advice though is to have some, research and know what you want to ask before going in. I had a reduction for medical reasons and I feel better than I have in many years!

I had a breast augmentation in 2015 after losing 60 pounds. From the first consultation, I inquired about needing a breast lift and was told no. I had a lot of loose skin after losing so much weight. Dr. Jacoby told me I would have no loose skin and after surgery when I pointed out the handful of loose skin he shrugged it off. A few months after surgery I noticed my implants were bottoming out. When I saw Dr. Jacoby with my concerns he said “that would never happen”. I returned a second time to voice my concerns again. He agreed to do another surgery, with myself responsible for the expense of the anesthesia. Very soon after the implants bottomed out again. I did my own research and asked about another technique and he quoted me 1500$. Later his receptionist emailed me with the price saying it would be $3600 per breast and that he wasn’t aware of the price (but happy to throw a number at me in office?). He then revealed to me many appointments later that he was not surprised with my result as I had no scar tissue present at the revision surgery. Why would you not tell the patient your findings after surgery? My chest is deformed and the implants are basically falling out the bottom. Why would you make promises you can’t predict about loose skin before you operate? And why would you tell a patient “that would never happen to you?” When they voice their concern? You were wrong Dr. Jacoby. He changed my life for the worse and easily brushed me off. I should have listened to the nurses I know that work at the surgical centre who told me not to go with you.
