Thank youDr.Hong. The joint finger was big obstacle for many of my normal works. Already a surgery was done when I was 3 years old. But it was not a successful one. Some surgeons whom my father consulted earlier suggested that some nerves may get affected during surgery. So my father was not interested in another surgery. You did the surgery successfully. I am very comfortable now. The fingers move freely. I am able to do my works better than before. I am hopeful of getting more better and easier movements in coming days.

TERRIBLE SERVICE, complete waste of my time. I had a consultation appointment scheduled for 5pm. I work downtown so I made the decision to leave work early in order to have this appointment. I arrived there 4:55, almost an hour of commute. I gave my name, PAID the $80 fee, and was asked to have a seat and that my name would be called. When I asked the receptionist how long the wait would be, she told me 30 minutes. I thought that was odd seeing as I had a scheduled appointment for 5, but I decided to wait anyway since I made the trip there. After 50 minutes of waiting, I then asked again how much longer it was going to be. The same receptionist told me there were still 3 clients ahead of me. At this point, I was feeling a bit frustrated but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt since I could see it was busy. Then finally, after an hour and 20 minutes of waiting, I was called and asked to have a seat in the room. I had expected to be seen by Dr. Hong right away, but no 15 more minutes had gone by without anyone coming into the room. I decided it was not worth more of my time or money to spend another second in that office. So I requested a refund of my $80, which by the looks of it, the receptionist did not want to give me. I am very disappointed with the customer service and lack of communication I received. Especially since I read so many great reviews about Dr. Hong.

First of all, my appointment was for 4.15 and as i walked into the reception, i was told doctor starts at 4.50. I waited about 4 months for this appointment and he simply talked to me in about 6 minutes. He looked like was in a hurry or didnt like my face. He said i should get a shot or something in my wrist and didnt give details of the treatment. On top of that, left me alone in the room and i was expecting him to come back to tell me appointment was over or give me more details of the treatment. I dont understand how a guy like that acting like a health specialist in the community but see patients like that. Look at his reviews at this page ? ridiculous, Ontario Health authorities should investigate this and punish them, not only this one, but all physicians. I would never recommend him to anybody and i will let my family doctor know. Other doctor has told about his reviews, and now i know what she was talking about.

I love my eyes. Dr Hong was very efficient, but caring and had a great sense of humour. I need my eyes to be open bigger due to droopy eyes causing the eyelashes to irritate the eye balls and one to swell because of the irritation. I got to choose my eyes which I wanted to remain asian. in the end I choose my mother's eyes and a stock picture that were very close. Dr Hong was able to blend both and Now I have these wonderful eyes. The surgery was less painful than the removal of the stitches. The assistants were very careful and follow up was wonderful. They called twice during the day to make sure I was alright and not suffering in pain, Instructions for post surgery were explicit in how to ice the lids and the frequency as well as the eye drops. Excellent post operation care by Dr Hong was given with humour. The only point I would stress is that the clinic does not offer advice about lubricants that are hypoallergenic I did find that there are allergy free eye drops but I was able to use my eye drops for dry eye from my optometrist. The night ointment is also available in a hypoallergenic form . Just ask your eye doctor what it is. They do sell it. Overall the surgery and Dr Hong's work is excellent. After 10 mo. I have no scars. The clinic assistants are top notch. All work very hard and are very efficient. they are all asian and seem to be short and curt. That is their style. It is not being rude. It's being asian.

I was having very bad experience with the doctor, He is extremely rude and doesn't care about the patients but the money! I had appointment at 2Pm and I went in at 3:15. and I was in his office for only 30 seconds! when I told him I was waiting here for too long he shouted at me saying I'm busy mam!! you can probably learn more from google than from him. You're better off going to a different doctor to be honest

Why doctors are allowed to pile patients like their biohazard waste??? UPDATE: 2 PM appointment turned to 4 PM and no signs of doctor. Avoid this guy at all costs... ????

I had a devastating work-related injury on my left wrist, it almost cut everything to the point I lost all left hand senses. I was shocked and very scared during that time I almost passed out. They had me a surgery later on with Dr. Colin Hong. I almost lost hope with that tragedy but thanks to the people who did the surgery on me. Months later they removed my cast and I saw how really bad it is. They recommended me some hand exercise and sent me to hand clinic. I was not confident to do those things and I was depressed. I almost had myself think that I am now useless. Thanks to God, He never left me during my hardships. I kept myself optimistic. I motivate myself. I tell myself that I will be back to the same person I was before the accident. And here I am working to be the best version of me. I do things the same as before. I can now cook my own food. I can do household chores and everything! Life is limitless if you wish to be optimistic and you are your own instrument towards improving! Never ever give up and tomorrow will be a better day.

The wait time is crazy long. Waiting for a check up would take almost 2 hours. People would literally take naps and fall asleep until it is your turn. My surgery went well however and the staff are decently nice.

Went to do my undereyes.it was a horrible experience.the needle wasn't in my veins i feel everytime he tied the stitches and when i told him it hurts he's telling me not to move.and he keeps telling the nurse to give me more cc.i could see the smoke from when he tied the stitches and burned it.when he was finished a saw that the needle wasn't in my vein.it had the tape on but the needle was not in my vein.one of the nurse was shock and was asking how did it came out.no wonder i was awake through the whole procedure and was feeling so much pain.i could feel him using the needle poking in and out of my jaws.i went there to remove the bags from under my eyes i never tell him to put no fat in my jaw.now one side of my face is bigger than one i have terrible pain in one of my eye.he did the injection to melt the fat under my chin and told me the fat gonna melt and then tighten.it melt but it did not tighten.went back to him couple weeks ago and ask him if its going to be like this he said yes because if he give me anymore injection i am going to feel pain.everytime i look in the mirror it makes me upset to see how dr.hong messed up my face.i want my money back.he is one doctor working by himself so he is rushing to do the next patient.wouldn't recommend him.my friend wanted to go there i told her look at my face.wouldn't recommend him.zero star.

Some people complain about his direct approach in his initial consultation, but he's not here to upsell you or feed you with false confidance, like some other institutions. The day of the surgery, he takes a lot more time discussing with you your likes and dislikes and dream outcome. The staff are helpful and patient . I must of called 100 times the week of mysirgery with anxiety provoked questions . They happily answered all my questions and reassured me with their kindness and knowledge. During the surgery the nurses where compassionate and very caring. Like having your mom with you lol. I highly recommend him and his team ! Got a referral from family doctor to check on a previous breast implamt work. Booked an appointment at 11.50 and waited until 12.50 which is already unacceptable. Doctor came in and talked for less than 5 mins while confirming nothing need to be done. All of that and wasted $80 for registration fee? Absolutely ridiculous cuatomer service and waste of time and money. AVOID THIS IF YOU CAN!

I recently had a tummy tuck by Dr. Colin Hong and was extremely pleased with the results. The procedure was done at his clinic. I had previously had both my hands done for carpal tunnel from him also. Those surgeries also went very well. I highly recommend Dr. Hong and would definitely use him again if need be for surgery. The only down side is that he is extremely busy and wait time for your appointment could be long...but I say the wait is worth it.

Post OP 1 year now, amazing result. I have travel from Montreal then all the way to Alberta but nothing compare to Toronto. Dr Colin was the best decision I ever made. Friends suggest I should travel south or over sea but not worth it. First impression I receive from Dr Colin is doesn't matter if your waiting over 2 hrs in the waiting room, his priority is the patient he's with in that room. Thank you❤️

No Dr. Hong is not out to just get money from you though I know how you feel about waiting. He is a generous man, talented in what he does and did not allow me to go forward with a surgery until what looked like a 'heart abnormality' was checked out and cleared by a cardiologist. Money grabbers do not behave like this.

I had an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) and a double eyelid surgery by Dr Colin Hong and want to thank him for his beautiful work. It's been a few months now and I am very pleased with my results. My Asian double eyelids are very natural with no scars. As a health care provider, I can tell he cares for his patients and he is an excellent professional surgeon. He is attentive and meticulous with his surgical techniques. He makes sure you do well after surgery, see you multiple times to ensure there are no complications. His Operating room is up to hospital standard and he has an accountable OR team. I want to also thank Dr. Lau (Anaesthesiologist) and Dr Wu. I was so nervous but he did a wonderful job putting me to sleep and waking me up. The nurses, (especially Lynn) are all very nice, patient and answers all the questions I have. I would definitely recommend his to my family and friends!

The worst service I have received at a clinic. Every question I had was countered by a "I don't know" or "whatever you want" as an answer... What does that even mean? I went to a specialist to get an opinion on if I need surgery and this guy tells me to get surgery if I want... Seemed like he just did not want to be there... I showed him my scars and he looked at it for no more than 5 seconds. The whole thing was a waste of my time. Save your trouble and go somewhere else where the doc will actually give you the respect you deserve.

I went there for scar tissue injection, Dr. Hong initially told me its $60 a shot then at the consultation which I paid 80 bucks for! Just to see him told me the shot is at least 250?! And he doesn’t recommend it? then why tell me on the phone that it’s ok!? I already told all the details on the phone! The phone’s purpose which is to save me the trip and the 2 hrs wait and the $80! They just want to con you the money I suppose....

I think Dr. Colin Hong deserves a 6 stars review, as he is knowledgeable, he knows what he is doing, he listened how I wanted at the beginning while I was so worry about the outcome, he actually delivered exactly how I wanted it. The result is fantastic and super natural. I love it so so so much, btw Ling and all the staffs who work there were very friendly and helpful, especially Ling, she responded my text everytime when I have questions and concerns, this is what we call customer service which not being offered in most plastic surgery clinics.

Terrible treatment, very disappointed in his care. I have a wide local incision surgery done by him back in 2017. He didn’t suture well, my sutures came apart and my scar looks much worse then I could have looked. Also very poor bedside manners, he rashes from one or to the next and overlooks himself. My father went in for a consultation and waited almost 2 hours from the scheduled appointment time to the time we got to see Dr. Hong. His recommendation was to have the cosmetic procedure performed. On the day of the procedure, we waited 3 hours past our original appointment time on a Saturday before we were brought into the procedure room. When in the room we waited another 20 minutes before doctor Hong came to see us. He seemed busy and rushed. And did not apologize for the wait. Gave my father his anaesthetic shots and then left again. He did ask if my father felt ok and that he should get comfortable. I can not speak to the quality of the procedure or the necessity of it, but I can speak to the horrendous scheduling and unacceptable wait times and lack of empathy for the long waits.

When visiting Lips on Yonge you are listed as Medical Director. I had no idea you were only available via Face time on an Ipad. Your staff didn't even know how to rotate your image so you would be facing me. It was the most unprofessional experience one could have. Your interaction via face time was null, you didn't even introduce yourself. I am an educated woman who for the life of me can't believe I didn't walk out. Charging me $80.00 for a so called consultation is just not acceptable. To say I was disappointed in the experience is an understatement. Your staff didn't go over what kind of filler that would be used and I had to mention what the side effects might be. (a test was done on the side of my face at my request) You should make it very clear when one books an appointment that NO DR. is present.

My upper eyelids began dropping and had severe ptosis. I always looked tired and had to raise my eyebrows unintentionally to make the eyes look bigger. After consulting with Dr. Hong, I had gone through the blepharoplasty surgery and surgical repair to tighten the muscles. The entire procedure took approximately an hour. I didn’t feel any pain. It’s been four months after the surgery. My eyes look symmetrical. I also got compliment from my colleague. He thought it was due to the eye shadow that I put on and didn’t recognize that I had a surgery. Dr. Hong is very professional and the best plastic surgeon that I ever met.

I am Canadian who lives and works abroad. I had series facial injury that left massive scar over my left eyebrow. The result was disaster! I could not even look at the mirror. I was extremely depressed. I wore band aid to hide the scar for months and was hoping it will get better. In fact, it got worst. After 3 months, I decided to come back to Canada and seek advice and options. I met 2 doctors without any help. Then, I met Dr. Hong. He saw my scar and told me that it will be ok. He recommended 3 stage plan. 1/Lower the scar. 2/Eyebrow transplant over the scar. 3/laser treatment. Four months post ops, the result is incredible! This man is a genius. He has changed my life and I can’t thank him enough. Highly recommended!!

I had a gynecomastia procedure and it was done 4 weeks after my initial consultation with Dr. Hong. It was my first plastic surgery so I had worries about the procedure, but Dr. Hong and staff showed pictures of previous patients, and they seemed to be great results. I went ahead with the procedure, and the results were indeed great. My chest became flat, just minor scars and muscle cramps but these come with the procedure I'm sure they will go away with time. I have been having post-op appointments with Dr. Hong and he seems to be happier about my results than I am. Dr. Hong is very friendly and I had a question which I was given his personal number to text, and he responded in a prompt manner. Him and the staff are always busy, so there could be long waiting time at the clinic but that just shows how skillful he is as a surgeon and there's a lot of demand for his services. I would definitely recommend him.

If you looking for a hair transplant place this isn't the place. Over priced, unprofessional. The people here that perform hair transplant are all about the dollar. They pack the waiting room, will give you an appointment but when u get there u still have to wait a few hours befor u get seen. There's one white women but the rest are Asian. Worst experience ever. When I had the consultation witch cost u $80 u do get it back on your surgery day. I spoke to a guy waiting that had his surgery few months befor, and he wasn't satisfied. As he said, over priced for what was done results weren't what he expected.Long story shot, look elsewhere. This place may be ok for other surgeries but for hair I wouldn't recommend. You will not be satisfied with ur hair results. So don't waste your hard Earned dollar.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hong's for 2 years now. After loosing the collagen in my face at a young age I lost my self esteem and didn't want to be seen by friends and family as I looked years older. With the professional advice of Dr. Hong and his treatments I now look 10 years younger and love being out in public amongst friends and family. I am confident again and love taking pictures with my daughter. Dr. Hong is an amazing person who loves to make his patients happy. His prices are more then fair and he will not have you spend money on treatments you do not need. To those complaining about his wait times. Yes, he is busy and you do have to wait sometimes but that should be an indication of how good of a Dr. He truly is. I would recommend Dr. Hong and give him 5 stars.

Met with this doctor for a consultation regarding a cosmetic procedure at the Markham location. The parking lot is convenient and accessible. I've read many reviews, and they were right. There is a wait to see Dr. Hong. I waited 45 minutes, which isn't too bad. The waiting room is very small, lots of people were standing. The receptionist collected the $80 consultation before I'd seen the doctor. I thought this was strange, but maybe they've had people run out on them? Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised by the Dr. Hong. He was professional, informative and patient. I had lots of questions, because I'd researched so much on the internet. He took the time to answer all my concerns and showed me photos of his work. He was honest, straightforward and seemed more concerned how the treatment than about the money. He told me that my case would be a little complicated, so I am still deciding right now.

All he cares about is to get the procedure done and make money. I also waited for and hour and a half for my appointment. Complete waste of time.
