My daughter wanted a nose procedure and, as a parent you always want the best for your children. We spent a lot of time looking for a surgeon and after our family doctor recommend Dr. Solomon we went in for a consult. They are situated in a converted home in Thornhill and it’s very fitting as once you walk in you feel like you are at home. The staff are very friendly and spent time walking us through the process and when we met Dr. Solomon he was very professional and asked my daughter exactly what she was looking to achieve. After the exam he was confident her requests were reasonable we took photos and he showed us what the end result could look like. She was very happy and we booked her surgery. The staff provides you with all the pre and post operative materials so you can prepare ahead of time and know exactly what to expect, they also provide you with contact numbers in case you want to talk to someone anytime for questions or concerns. The day of the surgery went perfectly and went home a few hours later to start the healing process. One week later the followup appointment was to remove the splint and the nurse was very professional and reminded my daughter of all the continuing care while it continued to heal, her nose looked Amazing!! We are now 6 weeks post-op and just had her follow-up her nose looks exactly as she dreamed and she is very happy and it’s hard to imagine it’s only been six weeks. We took the ‘after’ photos and they actually look better than the computer models, Dr. Solomon was pleased with the results and reminded her of continued care while it continuers to heal, he also answered any other questions my daughter had. I would highly recommend Dr. Solomon for the very fine work he has done for my daughter but a large part of this is the staff he has working for him. They are all very friendly, helpful and supportive. They answer all questions and ensure you feel well cared for as a patient at all times.

I felt humiliated when he and his female staff assistant were laughing and cracking jokes about my skin condition in front of me and in the room next door. It was so obvious and i wanted to let them have it. But i kept quiet. I felt even dumber when i had to pay the consult fee after being humiliated and made fun of. Horrible experience. I wish i was treated with more respect maybe then i wouldve chose this doc to do my procedure. I shouldve kept it real and confronted them both..then we wouldve seen whats up.

Around a year ago, i decided to have a rhinoplasty. i am a 20 year old guy and since i was 12, have had a prominent dorsal hump. the staff was very efficient and friendly, and Dr. Solomon was very knowledgeable and professional. I explained to him exactly what i wanted out of the surgery and he told me exactly what i should expect and explained the potential outcomes and risks. he also asked me if i would be satisfied if i got a 70-80% improvement if the outcome could not be exactly what i wanted. i said i would be. i liked this, as it showed me he was not just interested in my potential buisness, but was more concerned with my satisfaction and mental well being. 2 months later i had the surgery and it went flawlessly. before i went in i had a long conversation with Dr. Solomon and he once again went over everything i needed to know before the surgery. if there was one thing that wasnt perfect, it was that after the surgery, he did not come to check up on me, but this is knit picking as everything else was great. i saw him a week after surgery to remove the bandaging and i was very happy with my results. i would absolutely recommend Dr. Solomon to anyone looking for a good cosmetic surgeon. Great service, and phenomenal outcome.

I had my Rhinoplasty done with Dr Solomon in Dec 2018 and I couldn't be happier. I knew I wanted to go with him because in the consultation he addressed what he felt my concerns were and he knew exactly what I wanted before I said it. Nurse Vesta was amazing and made me feel extremely comfortable while she removed my splints. I went to fix my nose. was not straight because of an accident happened some years ago. He said : He will do as following: breaking nose again and straightening it without removing the broken piece of bone. Some days later, I went to operation room, it was very cold (they ignored my complain), came out, went home, next day had fever and shivering, went to see Dr. Solomon, he did a terrible mistake: After greeting, he asked me: How are you feeling? I said: very bad, have fever and shivering .....so I came to see you as I was told to do .... All in sudden he started pulling out the piece of device from my nose!!! I was all in pain and blood ..... I cried: what are you doing Dr. I am dying... My heart was almost stopped and couldn't breath from pain... Then he said: When did you go under surgery? Wow Wow !!! He forgot who I was! and he did not bother even to look at my file in front of him! He was supposed to remove the device 3 weeks after surgery, he thought I am at his office for that! I stayed on the chair for about 10 minutes then he looked at the file and said: I am sorry! Then he said: well I should remove it anyway! This last word of him, really disappointed me. I wouldn't put this comment here if he would just stay silent and not to try cover up his mistake. He never called me after to see if I am dead or alive. Some days later, I noticed that the piece of bone in front of my nose is missing and my breathing got worse. He lied to me! He did remove the bone and threw it out instead of straightening and putting it back in it's place. Then I learned that OHIP pays only for removing the broken piece of bone not for fixing it! The fixing process is a extra cost and OHIP doesn't pay that extra cost. He did not even tell me that before or even after. A week later, I went to my family doctor and explained everything. But it was too late. I left the judgement to the Lord.

I had a great experience with Dr. Solomon. I am originally from Toronto but moved to NZ two years ago. I had gone to consultations with Doctors in NZ, however, I decided to have rhinoplasty back home in Toronto. I had researched and met a few doctors online, which was hard to do in itself as many Dr's do not offer a Skype or FaceTime consultation. However, Dr. Solomon was great enough to do so! I have had 2 interactions with Dr. Solomon and his team. The first was a video consult. Dr. Solomon called me 4 hours after our intended time window. I let it slide because I know that people get busy and that is life. However, I did not feel confident enough to book a surgery yet, so I booked an in person consultation with pictures. When I first arrived the office seemed a bit frantic but I paid it no mind and just waited quietly. However, the front staff were incredibly rude. Dr. Solomon called me into the room and a woman came in and had a fight with him about letting me into this room. That is so unprofessional, a surgeon and their staff should not have spats in front of patients. I was moved to another room for pictures and the consult. The waiting time was quite long. The photo consult felt rushed and the photoshop was just slapped together. The rudest part was when I was asking Dr. Solomon follow up questions he abruptly closed my chart and pictures sort of to signify "I'm done talking about this". I felt like none of my questions or concerns were addressed properly. I can tell Dr. Solomon is a smart guy, however, I feel nervous over the frantic and rushed nature of his practice. No one wants a surgeon that is rushed or frantic, especially for their face. Despite my many critiques, I would like to say that Nancy (the photographer) and Jacqueline (works the front desk) were very professional and kind in the interactions I had with them. Because of them I did not get up and leave or lose it during my appointment. In my opinion, the300$ for my consulting was a waste of money for me as I will not be booking my surgery with Dr. Solomon. EDIT: Nancy phoned me the day after I posted this review and offered to reimburse me for my in person consultation. I thought this was a kind gesture, and am grateful for her doing this. I hope my experience was not the norm, and that the clinic was having an off day the day I visited.

I have been wanting a rhinoplasty my whole life. I had a consultation with Dr. Solomon July 2020 and had my surgery about one week ago, I showed him some photos of what I wanted my nose to look like and Dr. Solomon recreated what I envisioned perfectly. During the imaging consultation we discussed what what work best for my face. Surgery was a breeze, I woke up with some side effects from the anesthesia (sore throat/shaky) but recovery was overall easy and painless. I barely had any bruising or swelling. I just got my cast off yesterday and I am already extremely happy with my results! It is a perfect small little button nose, as I had always wanted. It is even and symmetrical. I am so happy with how well it turned out. THANK YOU DR. SOLOMON! I would recommend him 100%

I saw Dr Solomon originally to discuss otoplasty, but ended up getting chin lipo and facetite as well, as this area was of concern. From the beginning, Dr Solomon was kind and patient. He listened attentively to my complicated health conditions, was honest and upfront about potential complications, and never once pressured me into making a decision to proceed. The day of the procedures his laid back manner really put me at ease, and the flow of conversation between himself and his nurses helped alleviate most of my anxiety during the procedure (the gas helped too). His aftercare is second to none. He answered my email questions within an hour on the weekends, and even while on vacation in Mexico! His two facilities are spectacular. So clean and elegant. And his staff are amazing. Although I am still recovering, his work is beautiful. My ears are amazing and I definitely have a more defined chin and jaw area already, even with some post-operative swelling still evident. I am definitely going to stick with Dr Solomon to do any other face and neck “upgrades” in the future.

Was looking forward to my consultation appointment for a primary rhinoplasty with Dr. Solomon, but seeing how he (or his admin staff) treat future clients is disappointing. I sent him before and after photos of my most ideal nose shape just to know if he could produce similar results. I was hit back with a poor excuse of a response. My question was not even answered. A simple yes or no would have been sufficient.. or even just telling me that I would have to do the in person consultation in order to know if it is possible. Instead, this was their response: "Always give honest and realistic expectations" ^ how is this considered a professional response to a legitimate question regarding my potential surgery? The harsh attitude of him and/or his staff is enough for me to steer clear of this facility and continue looking else where for my rhinoplasty.

I booked my surgery during the early days of the pandemic and just had my surgery a month ago. I had a rhinoplasty and chin implant. I had always been self-conscious of both my nose and chin. I was always insecure about my nose since it was crooked and not very feminine. Dr Solomon performed my septorhinoplasty in hospital in July 2021. This is a procedure I had been wanting to do for the last 5+ years, due to a large hump on my nose and difficulty breathing. I had researched several surgeons and looked at their before/after galleries, until deciding I liked Dr. Solomon's work the best. I could not have been more pleasantly surprised with how smooth my recovery period was, as well as the end result. Although recovery will be different for everyone, I had very minimal pain and bruising. Dr Solomon was very much on the same page with what I had envisioned my nose looking like and almost immediately after surgery I could breathe and smell (which I was never able to do before). I live quite far from the clinic and scheduling was tricky post-surgery, but staff were accommodating by making an interim FaceTime check-up. My nose is still healing and final results for my procedure are not seen until 1 year post-op, however to-date my experience has been positive and I have referred friends to this clinic.

My review has been removed, so here it is again. I had a lip lift with Dr. Solomon in November 2016, and the result was and still is disappointing. Part of my nose was cut and gone forever, and obvious scars are left because of the terrible stitches. I kept following up with Dr. Solomon, and he put promises to make sure to make me happy, but nothing major has been done. My last visit was this summer; he said that he can see nothing and such scars are minor. Here are photos that I took in October 2019 (3 years after the surgery). Permanent Fillers: I stopped using temporary fillers in year 2012 due to the recurring expenses. In July 2013, I flew to Chicago, Illinois, to have permanent fillers put in (ArteFille). Unfortunately, 'permanent' lasted only 2-3 years depending on the part of my face you were to look at. This said, even this period of time proved to be cheaper than continuing with temporary fillers. Rather than fly back to Chicago, I contacted multiple clinics in the Toronto area. Only Dr. Solomon could assist me. I contacted his clinic two weeks ago and today I had my injections. I am shockingly delighted with the results. He took a matter of 90 seconds to injected two "Bellafill" syringes (on sale at $800 CDN compare to $599-799 USD). My experience in Chicago took closer to one hour to complete. The lines I wanted filled in are gone completely. My face is smooth. I am back to looking like I am in my 30s (I am age 54). Don't believe me? Ask Dr. Solomon for photos, before and after. I am going to be emailing him 'his' results as soon as I finish posting this. Nurse Brittney at the Yorkville location is my absolute fave - you never need to worry whether she is talking from a place of honesty or greed. She’s not in it for the money, she’s in it to genuinely make her clients happy, and she’s very passionate about what she does. I’ve had other injectors/nurses recommend me several treatments that I hadn’t even thought of - then I ask Brittney if I should get these things done, and she tells me I don’t need the things I considered getting. The reason I share this is because she’s a RARE gem, and this type of treatment/behaviour is very hard to come by, especially in this industry. I can’t count how many times I’ve tried to be scammed by injectors. I understand the hustle, but developing trusting & genuine relationships w your clients is so important. And when you do your job out of passion over money, it shows, and in turn, your clients will be happier. So many owners of clinics push their employees to up-sell, but I find that to backfire because people like me can see right thru that, especially after being a client of Brittneys. Very satisfied w Dr Solomon’s office & Courtney at the front desk is also great :)

“HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Dr. Philip Solomon is a facial artist - his work combines a wealth of technical expertise and an aesthetic eye. I had facial fat grafting and neck liposuction. At our first meeting he understood exactly what I need and why. He drew on my face to show me where he would inject fat and what results I would expect to see. The procedure itself felt like I was at a day-spa. His team was superb (excellent nurses and the nicest staff) and I received excellent after-care instructions as well as several follow-up appointments with Dr. Solomon. Recovery and healing has been smooth and as described by his staff. They provided great communication from the start, answering my emails and returning my calls always. The END RESULTS ARE AMAZING!

So dissatisfied with this doctor and my results. I went for a consult about a septoplasty and had some cosmetic concerns as well. He assured me he could fulfill my requests. He told me I will be able to breathe properly and I was so excited. My consults were always very short and always rushed. This should’ve been the red flag for me to move on to a different doctor. My nose is crooked. I still can’t breathe properly. He didn’t do anything he claimed he would do. Afterwards, he told me it was a little difficult for him. Which, if he were a good doctor he would’ve known this in the first place. Everyone I know said my nose looked exactly the same. I spent so much money for a failed surgery. No follow up either. I went in to see if I could get a second surgery to correct the issues and a woman working for him exclaimed, “your nose is cute why do you want to change it” My nose is slanted and still bulbous. I wanted a rhinoplasty for the longest time but I was hesitant because I had a box shaped cartilage tip which I knew would require a very experienced surgeon. I felt very comfortable during my initial consultation with Dr. Solomon and right away knew that he would be my surgeon. I was very happy with my results. However, due to the type of nose I had, my nose began to droop over the years. It was nothing too obvious but something I noticed a lot myself. Although Dr. Solomon had previously explained to be that the you cannot reach perfect results with cosmetic surgery, he was still kind enough do a small revision rhinoplasty to lift the tip a little bit. I love my nose! It looks very natural and I always receive compliments about it. I would highly recommend Dr. Solomon! His staff is also very professional and nice.

After a lot of research I decided to go with Dr. Solomon. My parents and I are very glad to have chosen him because it has been an exceptional experience from beginning to end. Dr. Solomon himself is a talent and he is supported by a phenomenal team. I had the surgery performed in his own clinic and was amazed. From his office assistants to the nurses in the surgery room and the anesthesiologist, everyone was very professional, kind and welcoming. He met all my expectations regarding the concerns about my nose maintaining a natural look at the same time. His instructions regarding post surgery were very clear and my healing process was very smooth. One thing I did realize was that it was more discomforting rather than painful. Regarding the bruises I discovered that Arnica gels or pills would be beneficial in reducing bruising and swelling. I mentioned it to his office and they offered me the pills at the clinic which is stronger than the over counter medicine you buy elsewhere. This helped my healing process even more as I didn’t have much bruising nor swelling however it may depend on the person as well. Although I have been told by the Doctor it takes a year for full recovery and for the nose to settle, after having my surgery August 6th and being 10 days post surgery I pretty much feel back to normal except for some swelling on my nose. I am very happy and pleased with my results and can’t stop looking at myself in the mirror. Hope that helps!

Dr.Solomon is probably the best Rhinoplasty surgeon in the city, he can do just about anything and has a very go attitude when it comes to identifying and resolving issues of nasal anatomy (probably due to his extensive experience). Another plus is that from the first call, to the final surgery is about 4 months, which is a whole 400 months less than every other ENT surgeon in Canada Dr. Solomons only weakness is he's not good at listening or explaining, in this way and with the previously mentioned points Dr.Solomon kind of gives the impression of a handy Rhinoplasy performing uncle - he knows he can do the job and he'll probably do it just as well as anyone else and in less time, but you're pretty much just going to have to trust him.

They both had very different issues to address and both results were perfect for their individual needs. I had been trying to get rid of this pocket of fat on my stomach for years. No matter how much I worked out, or ate well, it remains a permanent fixture on my body. I went to Solomon Facial Plastic for my coolsculpting consultation and both Dr. Solomon and Afsoun, the medical aesthetician were very kind and honest about what I needed. It's not easy to show others an area of your body that you are most self-conscious about, but Afsoun made me feel so comfortable. My treatment was relaxing and not painful at all. I went back 4 weeks later and Afsoun took my pictures to compare my results. I already knew I had good results but when she put my before and after pictures side by side, I was blown away. I still have another 8 weeks for more improvement, as they say the treatment is working for up to 3 months following. Coolsculpting works! It's not a gimmick and it's incredibly rewarding. I went to my family doctor to discuss my breathing problems in Aug 2018. Family doctor referred me to Dr. Philip Solomon. Dr. Solomon clinic gave me an appointment in Jan 2019. My appointment was scheduled for 10:00 am, and I specifically asked when they called me to schedule the appointment who is the doctor I am seeing because I had forgotten their name and they said Dr. Solomon. When I went to my appointment, I got there at 9:50am and didn’t get in till 11:30 am. They also changed the doctor I was suppose to see and they had me see Dr. Lukas Kus a Surgical Associate. Very bad service, even a walk-in clinic doesn’t have a wait time of over 1hr and 30min. You know people have better things to do than just to look at your clinic walls for over an 1hr and 30min. I simply can’t trust a doctor to do any work on me if they can’t get their appointments sorted out. Also the doctor I saw was not very confident when he spoke. He’s unsure of what’s going on and was not able to diagnose me with confidence. This whole thing was a waste of time. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE.

Wonderful Doctor. Wonderful staff. You can really feel that they are there for you and that they care. Dr. Solomon is truly a perfectionist. He spent lots of time with me discussing my procedure and drew pictures of how the surgery is done and answered all of my many questions. He was very patient with me. More importantly he spent many hours in surgery to give me these wonderful results. A few months post surgery and my scars are fine lines and are continuing to fade. I see now why they say Dr. Solomon is a perfectionist. My experience with him and my results reflect it clearly.

Back in 2014 I was booked with and referred to Dr. Solomon for a consultation regarding septoplasty/rhinoplasty. After the consult was done I realized that I saw a colleague Dr. Atlas instead. Had the surgery septoplasty and, it failed after eight months. Before going back, a tumor was found on my liver and that had to be dealt with first. Now I have to have septo/rhinoplasty to fix my nose properly. Saw a plastic surgeon whom said my septum was "grossly damaged" and "grossly deformed". Was quoted $18,000. to fix this mess. I can't breathe through my nose and have chronic sinus infections and pain. Perhaps, if I wasn't passed off and saw the doctor I was referred to this may not have happened. Now I have to shop around. The surgery I had on my liver has left me disabled. I haven't been able to work since then (2016) and, can't afford $18,000. Just make sure you actually see the doctor you were referred to. Surgeries can often go wrong!

Without question he knows how to deliver results that are natural and impactful. I had loose skin under my neck, I had lost the definition along the side of my face and I looked tired and old. I had surgery here to close my Stretched ears and I would not recommend Dr. Solomon for this procedure. He was very confident during my consultation, he bragged that he had re-built entire ears and that my surgery would be easy compared to that. The surgery went OK at best. He was able to close my ears but they are misshapen and uneven. I went back for a follow up and he was able to make one ear a bit more even but he didn't even attempt to fix the other. Even the nurses that were assisting with the surgery were shocked that he wasn't even going to try and fix my other ear. I have friends who have had this procedure done elsewhere and their results are much better than mine. They also paid quite a bit less... Throughout my entire experience I really got the sense that he didn't care about me as a client. It was VERY difficult to schedule my follow up appointment. I had to make multiple follow up calls and emails before I could book anything.
