Dr.Edwards is the best around and ive seen thousands of lifts with implants with wide, raised and crooked incisions. My incisions never were red, always invisible while looking in the mirror. It made it almost impossible to apply the tape every 7-10 days. At my 6wpo i was cleared of using it. But, from my 1wpo with his nurse to the ladies at the front in the surgical centre, i was always pushed to buy Skinmedic Scar Recovery Gel. I wanted to insure the work done was properly cared for. I wanted to try the .5oz container bc Dr.Edwards suggested once daily for 6 weeks. But, the main receptionist said i had to 2x daily for 3 months. So, i spent over 100$…(I trusted the professionals), i got scabs all over my incisions and all over my breasts after applying my bra, immediately after applying it one Wednesday night. I was changing my bras 2x a day. 5 days went by and i noticed a huge lump on my pencil thin incision. Less than one week after first applying Skinmedic Scar Recovery Gel, i phoned the surgical centre, a male nurse told me i had a severe reaction and to use polysporin, just on the lump. I barely used it and he suggested to use it on other scars, if i had any. Why? If it literally scabbed my skin. I phoned Allergan. The lady who filed a report saying the centre should refund me said, the same thing happened to her and she was very scared! I dont think this line should be sold let alone pushed on clientele. My incisions actually dont look as good as they did before the gel was pushed on me. I apply polysporin with antibiotics all overs my incisions and hope it helps with the damage the Skinmedic Recovery Gel did.
