My Rhinoplasty that I had 2 months ago was a really good experience. Everything was thoroughly explained and there wasn't any surprises. The staff and Dr. Keohane are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Thank you Dr. Keohane for giving me the profile of my dreams! I'll be back to try out the Coolsculpting next month! L. Ebert

This is a tough review for me to post, and has taken many years to make up my mind about whether or not I wanted to leave it, but If I can help one person make a decision I want to. Let me start by saying I got my surgery seven years ago, so it's very possible that since then, Dr Keohane has improved, and done some awesome surgeries. Mine, as well as some people I have met by chance who had theirs done by him, did not turn out so stellar. When I first got my surgery done, something stood out very boldly in my mind, which I found strange. He told me that if someone is unhappy with their surgery, that is an issue with them, not with the surgery. (Insinuating that it is an issue with their self confidence) No. I just got a revision to fix Dr Keohanes work, and have been over the moon with the look/function of it ever since. (All the thanks to Dr Asaria in Toronto, an absolutely incredible surgeon) once the initial swelling went down, my nose unveiled to be much too skinny, crooked, and essentially collapsed. When i went back to Dr Keohane, it never failed for him to pat me on the shoulder and say my breathing issues were due to my cats and their allergens. He always found my nose to be "swollen" on the inside, and prescribed me corticosteroids (nasal sprays) this happened on and off for years until the function of my nose became so horrible I had to consider a revision. I can now breathe perfectly, my nose looks better than it ever did with my first surgery, and I couldn't be happier that I got it fixed. What frustrates me about this doctor, is that he did not realize, even after my many visits, that he did something wrong, and kept misdiagnosing my complaints. Over the years I've happened upon other people who've also had their surgeries through him, with the same exact complaints. Unable to breathe, prescribing nasal sprays, crooked noses etc. Looking at my post op report from my revision, he performed a disaster on my face, which took almost six hours for Dr Asaria to fix (again, he did an incredible job, and if you can, I highly recommend looking outside of Alberta for a surgeon) Please do your research before settling for the only Edmonton doctor to perform these kinds of surgeries. My guess is that the office will type some rebuttle and argue with my review, but it is what is!

Dr. Keohane was extremely professional and knowledgeable in my initial consult. He explained the procedure thoroughly and went over realistic expectations for results. I had additional questions prior to my procedure which were always answered quickly via phone or email. The facility is spotless and his staff are amazing and very caring. On the day of surgery, everyone on the team made sure to put me at ease & Dr. Keohane went over everything again to make sure I was comfortable. Post-op, I received calls from staff to make sure I was doing ok and when I had a question 2 weeks after surgery about how an area was healing, they scheduled an appointment that day for me to come in and see Dr. Keohane. I am extremely happy with my results which were inline with what I was told to expect from Dr. Keohane at my consult. I would highly recommend Dr. Keohane and Advanced Facial & Nasal Surgery Centre.

I had a septo-rhinoplasty done with Dr. Keohane in March 2021. I had terrible issues with nasal dripping and swelling inside my nose due to a deviated septum. The process up until the surgery took a while because the doc really took the time to discuss the process and offered his suggestions very directly and clearly. On the day of the surgery the nurses were incredibly helpful, friendly and comforting. They took really good care of me afterwards and called to check up on me. The doc did a great job on the surgery itself, he obviously has an insane amount of experience and it shows. Everything looks good and my breathing has significantly improved. I would recommend this clinic to others!

I got a rhinoplasty about a year and a month ago, when I first got out of surgery I was excited to see my new results, Dr. Keheone made my consultation sound like the after results were going to be a huge improvement from my before pictures, I asked for a straighter nose, triangle shaped tip, smaller tip instead of bulbous, less droopy tip, etc, I came out of the surgery after a few months with an improvement from my before results (awful nose before) but none of my concerns were targeted and also got included nostril asymmetry. If I could take back the procedure and pick a different doctor I would.

I thought long and hard about leaving this review, and in the end I wanted to use my experience to better help others in making an informed decision about their rhinoplasty procedure. I had my nose surgery done by Dr. Keohane 15 months ago. We went over my facial structure, measurements and dislikes I had about my nose (a medium-sized bump on the bridge of my nose). PROS: Dr. Keohane's staff is polite and professional. I was able to book in relatively quickly. The centre is bright and clean. Dr. Keohane has years of experience. CONS: When the cast came off (1 week post-op) I cried. I was aware that my nose was still swollen, and that it would go down so I tried to reserve judgement, but the new shape I was so unhappy with. I was told that because of my 'thick skin' it would take longer for the swelling to go down. My second visit I was still HATING the tip (I had no issue with my tip beforehand, but the surgery had changed it into a bulbous tip). I was told it was still swollen but 'look the side view on one side it smooth and much better!'. On my third visit, it came to LIGHT that Dr. Keohane had only done work on ONE SIDE of my nose. So the one bump had been worked on, but he did NOTHING on the other side (where there is STILL A BUMP) and NOTHING on the tip to compensate the new changes. It arguably looks BIGGER from the front now because of the tip! This is where it gets VERY frustrating. On this third visit, he told me "you're the kind of person that wouldn't be completely satisfied with anything I had done". I find this very offensive because this is the ONLY surgery I've ever had. I'm a young professional and worked hard for the money I spent on the procedure. I was always polite with him and his staff, despite my displeasure with the outcome. He then said "so unless you come back for another treatment, take care". Basically a kind 'get lost'. I would've thought we would talk about if I wanted a revision, or maybe an explanation that he couldn't get to the tip or the other side of my nose for whatever reason, but he was just incredibly rude like it was MY fault that I didn't like his work. My recommendation: Look into another city (Calgary, Toronto, Vancouver) for this procedure.

My surgeon was Dr Morrissey and so far I've had a good experience with him, but it's my understanding that he doesn't work out of this building too often, so my review will only speak to the facility and its staff. Driving up, I was a little off put by the fact that I was getting surgery in something of a strip mall (admittedly I was pretty nervous so this likely could have been located anywhere and my feelings would have been similar). However that went away quickly. It's a very nice facility and was very clean. With that said, my 5 star rating is all but entirely for the staff. Everyone was very kind and considerate to me. Specifically the (slightly) older nurse that walked me into the room and talked me through the process. I wish I remembered her name but, with all sincerity, this nurse was amazing. I wish I had a better word to use. Beyond being a fantastic nurse with an incredible bedside manner you could immediately tell she was just a genuinely kind person. This was my first real surgery and I was pretty nervous but she helped a ton. The nurse in the recovery room was also great, however I was still pretty loopy and don't remember too many specifics. She did provide my wife (and probably me) plenty of information and was by my bed ready to assist from the time I woke up to the time I walked out of the building. Although I'm not sure what the cotton candy unicorn horn was all about (maybe that was the drugs). Thanks to everyone!

From Tracy at the front, to the ladies (i am so sorry i forgot the names) who were prepping me for surgery and calming my nerves. It was a safe, clean and professional environment where i had my rhinoplasty surgery. I am thrilled with the results as Dr.Keohane walked me through his vision and how my nose now suits the rest of my body! Thank you and highly recommend.

I have been a patient of doctor Keohane for many years from rhinoplasty to fix deviated septum. I am a regular now and always look forward to my Botox app as I get to Visit with the amazing ladies and have a visit with a great knowledgeable surgeon. Dr Keohane is very friendly and has a great sense of humour. He is a wonderful surgeon who knows what he is doing and makes sure you understand results and expectations. I Highly recommend him as now my sister and mom see him for their Botox and surgeries and think he is great too!

I went to Dr. Keohane for rhinoplasty. I had a deviated septum fixed, enlarged turbinates reduced as well as cosmetic reshaping to a wide nose bridge and bulbous tip. My first impression was wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful and clinic is beautifully maintained and spotless. I was blown away by how in depth the consultation appointment was. Dr. Keohane was very thorough in his assessment and included me in all the decision making. He was very helpful in guiding me to set realistic expectations, answered all my questions and provided extra information about things I hadn't thought of yet. He took his time and made me feel comfortable in making my decision. Surgery went great. I felt safe and comfortable in the teams hands. And during recovery they called to check in on me at home to make sure I was doing well and seeing if I had any questions or concerns. For my follow up visits, Dr. Keohane was always smiling and kind and very personable. I looked forward to going into the clinic to see him and his team. I would highly recommend Dr. Keohane and his clinic! I am 2 months out from surgery; (and while still healing) I'm thrilled with the outcome of my procedure!

My daughter had her nose worked on by Dr Keohane and his team. She had a fractured septum in addition to a nose shape she wasn't happy with. Everything from the clinic, the staff, to the surgery were excellent. I couldn't be happier with the care she received, and she is thrilled with her nose. It's just as he told us it would be: her nose, but better. Not a fake "Hollywood" look.

Dr keohane destroyed my nose and took my confidence away completely. He bragged about how many surgeries he does in a week and when I told him I was not happy he told me to be realistic and said he couldn’t do anything about it

I’ve been waiting to make a review on this after two years! Dr. K didn’t meet my expectations at all :( theres are my post op photos 2 and a half years later. When I went into my consultation with reasonable wants (my nose to be straightened, shaved bump, lifted tip, and my bulbous tip to a point tip) I essentially asked for a button nose. On top of my appearance I as well needed to receive a nose job to fix my breathing in one of my nostrils. As you can see from the photographs that my side profile isn’t as pleasing (it’s shaved down well but the tip is still dropped and bulbous). My biggest concern is my front profile, my bridge looks EXTREMELY collapsed and I still struggle to breath even more than before. The nose isn’t straight and still leans to the left and my tip is still quite bulbous. I wouldn’t recommend Dr. K as a surgeon but his staff are great. There’s better surgeons in Calgary.

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr.Keohane and his team! I have been his patient for over ten years. He has done multiple surgeries, filler & I see him every 4 months for Botox. The results I’ve seen from my treatments over the past decade are spectacular, my face looks beautiful but most importantly, natural!! I can confidently say he is the best in the city. He does amazing work, I won’t trust anyone else with my face! I cannot recommend him enough!!!! Thank-you Dr.Keohane I appreciate all you’ve done for me, I always look forward to my next appointment at your office!

This surgeon is horrendous and when I mean horrendous I mean disastrous. It’s really funny to me how when these new one star reviews come in suspicious new google accounts come in making a 5 star new review, lol laughable we all know that’s you or your office. Anyways I got my rhinoplasty about a year and a few months ago and was going to this doctor the worst mistake of my life. Don’t come to this doctor saying that you are getting your nose medically covered because he will not put in the work! When being in consultation with this surgeon I addressed concerns that weren’t targeted at all and was left with an asymmetrical nose. DO not trust this doctor! And when you hear him say “if they don’t like the outcome of the surgery after it’s an issue with themselves not me” MAKE a run for it. He is greedy, disrespectful and has destroyed many lives.

I highly recommend Dr Keohane!! He was very professional, honest, and made the process of getting a septo/rhinoplasty less intimidating. All his staff were super great and the nurses on the day of my surgery were super comforting and warm. I had no pain after the procedure and my recovery went very well. I am very happy with the results and find my nose suits my face way better. He was able to answer all the questions I had throughout this process and I was very happy I chose to do with the surgery with him!

I am 6 weeks post op from my septoplasty/rhinoplasty and could not be more happy with the results. My nose was always my biggest insecurity and thanks to Dr. Keohane and his staff i could not happier with the results. I had many issues with inside of my nose and problems with my breathing and now they are 100% better. Dr. Keohane was so knowledgeable and precise with every aspect of explaining my procedure to me and answering all my questions thoroughly. Dr. Keohane explained every millimetre of how he planned to reshape my nose and gave me full confidence in his abilities to preform this procedure, I booked the appointment the day of my consult and couldn't be happier with that decision. I am by nature a very nervous person but felt complete ease and trust in Dr. Keohane and his team the day of my procedure, and the care afterwards was amazing. I chose Dr. Keohane as he made me very comfortable by saying he isn't "selling me anything" he explained to me the benefits of both procedures and said it is totally my choice he genuinely wanted to help me and he did.I would recommend and have recommended Dr. Keohane and his staff to anyone looking to change or fix their nose ! I have gained more confidence than i thought possible, thanks to you Dr. Keohane and his amazing staff.
