Previously worked at York Med Physio and knew the talent of their chiropractor (Dr. Katherine Siu). She is one of the nicest and an amazing chiropractor. I have never been to one until I worked with her a few years back. Since then, I come and see her as a client now. The clinic has changed so much. From the time I have worked to now. From the time you walk in to the the time you leave, you will feel welcome and you will feel at home. Staffs are very accommodating especially the new owner. Have not had the chance to see him for sessions but will not hesistate to come see him in the future. Worth every visit and very knowledgable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Saw Tayser for shoulder issues and muscle imbalance. He was thorough with explaining the issues, causes, and treatments. Started with adjustments and electrotherapy and incorporated stretches for home and stabilizing exercises. After 6 weeks the pain is non existent, range of motion has increased and posture has improved. Highly recommended, 6/5 stars.

I self-treated, but it was not enough and I needed help. Thank you Mehran for your professional assessment, treatment plan and management. I was expecting to be at least 60% well after about 10 treatment sessions, but in no time, on the 4th treatment session I am 90% relieved from my signs and symptoms. Now, I don't feel any pain. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into York-Med Physiotherapy & Wellness as the suite is very clean, bright,and spacious. They offer a plethora of wellness services. It is a one stop shop with physio, massage, chiropractor just to mention a few. The staff is excellent, very knowledgeable and attentive. The office manager, Sal is on the ball with booking appointments and sending reminder emails. All have been very kind to me. As someone that is constantly injured and been around many wellness centre, this one is my favourite by far. I went there a couple years ago for a hamstring injury and when I went back for a different injury recently the staff still recognized me. The team is very dedicated to resolving whatever injury you may have and have your best interest in mind. The wellness team is very professional and friendly. Would not recommend any other place in the Richmond Hill area.

I came to the clinic towards the end of December 2020 with an acute lower back pain after having had to lift an elderly bed-ridden person out of bed towards the end of November 2020. A few visits to the chiropractor seemed to have worsened the symptoms. I could barely sleep and getting out of bed was a torture. A few friends encouraged me to try physiotherapy and I went online attempting to find a location close to my house. I was assessed and treated by Tayser Zoubi for 6 sessions and from session to session my symptoms reduced. I gained back my full mobility with a combination of electrical stimulation, manual manipulation and an exercise program. I am very pleased by the speed of my recovery and the care and attention I got from Tayser and Lori. With gratitude and many thanks!

There very un-organized as they take in way too many patients at once and make them wait. No one takes notes of your progression of how your doing and where you want to be. It was definitely an overall bad experience and I would recommend for others to look elsewhere if you want the best type of care.

Fantastic Atmosphere! There therapists are very good and are very quick to know what the issue is and know what path to take for full recovery. I've been going here for about 6 months now and I finally feel like I'm back to normal. I've had alot of injuries, sport related and Car Accident related, and they have been very good to help me walk my way to recovery. I started seeing there Chiropractor within the last 2 or 3 months and I think that was the biggest change of my recover. My Back hasn't felt this way in months, if not years. When I suddenly developed Sciatica pain in my leg after a fall, I searched for a good Physiotherapy clinic that would help me walk again pain free. Well I found it right here in Richmond Hill. My Physio Therapist, Mr. Tayser Zoubi, was a "God Sent" savior for me. He was slow , patient, and very knowledgeable. After just a month of twice weekly appointments, I'm back on my feet pain free. I'd highly recommend this Physiotherapy clinic to anyone. I know where I'll always go when Physio therapy is needed. After having had my 4th surgery on my knee, with the results of this last one being not the best, Mehran started treating my in October. York Med Physiotherapy has worked wonders for me. I sustained a grade 2 sprain and suffered from pain for many months. I was seeing another physiotherapist, but I didn't receive the treatment that I needed. On the recommendation of a friend, I decided to go see Mehran Moghaddasi. There was such a difference in treatment. He was able to diagnose my issue and started treatment immediately. In a short period of time, I found that my range of motion improved and the pain had lessened. The results were quite different than my previous experience. Mehran uses various exercises, stretches and therapeutic ultrasounds as part of the treatment. I found this to be extremely effective. Furthermore, the staff at York Med Physio are an awesome bunch. Salar and Tatiana make sure to go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. It's always an enjoyable experience. If you are experiencing problems, I honestly encourage you to try out York Med Physiotherapy. It was one of the best decisions that I ever made. I hope that I don't injure myself again. But if I do, I know that I have a wonderful physiotherapist that I can rely on.

Seems pretty unanimous that everyone has had a great experience with this place and I wouldn't dare disagree! The physiotherapist is exceptional at his job. He really takes a very thoughtful and caring approach and is driven to see your specific case improve. I had been to other doctors and therapists for a neck issue. I wasn't convinced on their diagnosis as my pain and discomfort persisted for a year. I went here and got told what I actually had and within a few treatments I was feeling a world of difference. It's hard to find a health care professional that truly cares and listens to your specific problem. This man does just that as well as having the aptitude to treat the problem.

I used to suffer constantly from lower back issues after an injury that occurred 2 years ago despite visiting numerous doctors and physiotherapists. However, since I switched to this clinic I have been experiencing a drastic improvement that none of the other ones have been able to achieve. They provided a proper diagnosis, as well as a realistic approach for my back health for what should be done to fully gain back its strength fully. So far it has been working and I feel much better. Having two disc protrusions on L4-5 and S1 and nerve inflammation that resulted in inability to perform simple tasks such as lifting myself up to go to the bathroom made my life miserable and hopeless. I tried other physiotherapists, chiropractors, acupuncture and osteopathic treatments but nothing helped and made me feel like no one will ever help me and I'm only 29. Until I googled this clinic. I've been seeing dr Mehran since October and we've made quite the progress ever since. The first assessment already showed me what great physiotherapist dr Mehran is. He truly listens and using his knowledge to treat his patients. Staff are great, very helpful and friendly. Dr Mehran always uses machines/manual techniques/exercises to help the patient based on individual treatment and not just follows a protocol. I really recommend this clinic.

Zero Complaints! I’ve been visiting York-Med Physio on a regular basis for almost a year. I have received physiotherapy, massage therapy, and chiropractic care at this clinic and have attained positive results from all three. Their entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. My first appointment was due to a very painful spasm in my lower back. I was in so much pain that I could barely sit or stand in their waiting room, but after only one appointment with Mehran I began to feel a lot better. I found each subsequent appointment at York Med to be a pleasurable experience. Not only was my condition improving but I greatly enjoyed the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Tatiana’s cheerful and friendly nature makes every client feel like they are part of the family. I am currently in the care of Dr. Siu, a very talented and competent chiropractor who has created a custom exercise program for me to do at home in order to support and sustain the clinical treatments. Both Mehran and Dr. Siu have stressed the importance of regular exercise and stretching to help prevent my pain from reoccurring and I have found their advice to be undeniably accurate. If I neglect to do my exercises, I feel the pain begin to resurface but as soon as I begin to stretch, I feel a lot better. My appointments with Katherine (Dr. Siu) are like visiting with a friend. I’m so distracted by our interesting conversations that I forget I am exercising at all. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone in need of physio/chiropractic care.

When I first went to York Med Physio I was having huge problems with both my shoulder and knee. I was suffering regular shoulder dislocations and had poor range of motion of the knee. I worked with Mehran for about 4-5 months and now the shoulder and knee are good as new. Mehran is the best physiotherapist I've worked with. He and his team are friendly, professional and welcoming. I would have given more stars if I could. The care and expertise that I've received here are far beyond what words can explain. I had a frozen shoulder condition (a very painful shoulder condition that results in having a limited range of motion; therefore, simplest tasks becomes painful/impossible). Mehran went above and beyond to reduce the pain and to bring the range of motion back to normal in shortest possible time. I firstly would like to thank Mehran Moghaddasi RPT and all of his wonderful and caring staff for allowing me to be part of there team for my placement as a PTA. At first before starting I was so upset that I had to put 10 weeks of my time at a clinic. When I started at York-med as the days kept going by I was so intrigued and fascinated with the vast amount of knowledge Mr. Moghaddasi had. Having been a RPT back home it did not stop me from learning everyday. Being with patients and the therapists I was able to see how patients would receive one on one therapy.
