Being an athlete for most of my life I have always deemed my hip/knee/back pain to be related to lifting weights, running, and cycling. I went to see many physio therapists and no one could cure the problem, no one listened to what I was saying and really dig deep into curing the problem. I started at Lifemark on tecumseh/manning with Adrian Huang who is by far the most thorough physiotherapist I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. My first appointment with Adrian he said "Okay, I know what's going on here, and I can help you fix it." Of course, given my history with physiotherapists my eyes rolled as far back into the back of my head as they could. I said to myself I just have bad hips, I've always had bad hips, this can't be fixed. Fast forward, I can honestly say, I have never felt better in my entire life. Adrian and the team at Lifemark really helped me, cured me, and continue to provide above average care for me and I'm sure many others. I feel lucky to have found a clinic who truly have a passion for helping people.

They advocate for insurance companies. I used their services in the past and they were great trying to help me heal, but again, ones your insurance stops paying and you stop going, the pain comes back with vengeance. This is not about the staff, this is about the "Life Mark" brand itself. The physiotherapist and massage therapist including reception are wonderful people to work with and are very polite and caring, but "Life Mark" policy tie their hands from taking that needed step to recovery. While there for 5 months, I came across patients who had language barriers, I met an entire family who were involved in MVA and did NOT speak, read or write English. It was by coincidence I met them and I ended up interpreting for them. I even offered to translate for free so they can have better communications with their physiotherapist, who was NOT able to understand what pain they're going through. LIFE MARK management did NOT only offer to bring interpreters nor allow my free services. Ultimately, the management don't care about the patient.

If your primary concern is concussion treatment and actually making progress in treating post concussion syndrome this is not the place to go. They claim to be there to help you and "work for you" but it's more like a factory designed to burn up your insurance $$$ in any way they can. It is absolutely pathetic that after almost 2 months of treatment and dealing with concussion symptoms and neck/shoulder sprain/strain from an MVA , I still have yet to receive copies of the exercises that I am supposed to be doing every day. It is extremely hard to get better when you have compromised memory and the people that are supposed to be working to get you better couldn't care less as long as they get that insurance $$$$! Seriously please avoid this place if you have a mTBI/post concussion syndrome, you will thank me in the long run!!!! Only good thing is the physio assistants are well experienced and Ross (one of the massage therapists) is very skilled.

I will be forever grateful for my mobility that has been integrated back to my life. I have been dealing with lower back pain for 20 years and have seen a chiropractor and a massage therapists but would only get relief for a few hours. I reluctantly decided to try physiotherapy and met with Adrian. Within 2 minutes of doing an assessment he identified what my issue was! He began some relief therapy on me as well as provided stretches and exercises for me to do at home, which I performed as exactly as instructed. (To be honest, I did not believe that any of these things were going to help my back pain but I figured I had nothing to lose). Well, I am in my 6th month with Adrian and I feel amazing!! I can do things that I never thought I could ever do again without pain.... such as bending over to pet my dog, or emptying my dishwasher or just simply tying my sons shoe, the list goes on. So much freedom! Adrian took the time to listen, actually listen to my ailments each visit and from there provided me with the proper therapy that worked for ME. Thank you so much Adrian. I can go on forever, but I have exercises I have to do. ????

Lifemark Physiotherapy Tecumseh is a friendly, professional, and safe environment. The facility is clean, comfortable, and offers plenty of free parking. Patients always receive a warm welcoming from Tanja as they arrive and she wishes them well upon their departure. She has been fast and effective with any of my needs whether it was in the clinic or over the phone. I have been treated by several staff members at Lifemark over the past 10+ months and I have had positive experiences with all of them. Even on my worst of days, Mason can turn my attitude right around with his positive, humorous and cheerful personality. He challenges me to reach my full potential while allowing me to have fun in the process. Ben was thorough and informative during my assessment and treatment planning. He was also more than patient when dealing with my resistance. Through my complaining, he assures me of my capabilities and inspires me to give my best effort. Renee is another invaluable staff member at Lifemark. Although I am not always eager to exercise, I look forward to my time with Renee. Her contagious smile, lively spirit, and words of encouragement give me the motivation I often need. Physiotherapist’s Sonali and Adrian are exceptionally knowledgable and experienced. They have both helped me in ways I didn’t know were possible. With a puzzled look on my face, they have both taken the time to show me diagrams or skeletal models to help give me a better understanding of my injury. It’s absolutely incredible what they do for their patients. I would recommend Lifemark Physiotherapy Tecumseh to anyone without hesitation. As a Personal Trainer, obstacle course racer, back packer, canyoneer, and basic person who loves doing anything adrenaline inducing outdoors, I've had my share of injuries. I've had 5 surgeries including back surgery and 2 knee surgeries and many, many "minor" injuries over the years and I've seen many, many therapists over that time. My experience at Lifemark for my latest knee surgery has been nothing short of stellar. The front office staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming as well as very thorough with the administrative end of your rehab. Therapist wise, I was lucky enough to draw Adrian as my Physiotherapist. He is by far the most knowledgeable and complete therapist I've been to. So many others just treat clients like they're at McDonald's and everyone gets the standard "ultrasound, tens, basic exercises, and ice it" treatment. My experience as well as what I've seen him doing with other clients shows that he tailors his treatment protocol to each individual. Adrian doesn't have blinders on when treating my injury. He obviously treats my knee but also looks at all of the other mechanics involved in its movement from proper glute recruitment and firing, to hip & ankle mobility and fascial tissue issues. All of these greatly impact the mechanics of the knee and it's ability to again handle the work I threw at it before my injury. Today after assessing my gait (walking stride) he realized (and showed me on video) that I can greatly reduce the impact on my knees by adjusting my stride so I'm currently working on re-learning how to walk which I've found to be a very humbling experience. It's all of this attention to the little details as well as his ability and patience to explain the "why" and "how" that I will never go to another Physiotherapist for any (sure to happen) future injuries. As the massage ended it came with a tip from Hidi that I should see a doctor about my enlarged lymph nodes. I receive treatment for severe vestibulopathy and other conditions at Lifemark Physiotherapy Tecumseh. I began with rehabilitation and progressed to a maintenance program. My therapists Ms. Merle Duchesne and Ms. Renee Knowles are both professional, effective and have an infinite amount of patience. My therapeutic massage therapist Ms. Heidi Gagnon is extremely gifted in reducing pain and increasing my range of motion. It is important to note that everyone at Lifemark Physiotherapy Tecumseh, have assisted me with the emotional aspects of accepting my disability, and despite my limitations, encouraging me to maximize my quality of life. The genuine caring they have for their clients is obvious, i.e. yesterday a client birthday was observed with decorations, a cake and everyone singing happy birthday. The teamwork and dedication of this group of professionals is astounding.

I have been going to Lifemark Physiotherapy for approximately 5 years now for various conditions. Each time I enter, I’m greeting with a friendly smile and attended to in less than 5 minutes. Each Physiotherapist is very knowledgeable and explain their treatment plan in detail. I have been seeing Andrian Huang who uses his extensive knowledge of Chinese acupuncture and acupressure to skillfully release the deep tissue tightness and soreness I’m experiencing. He also accompanies his treatment with a detailed diagram of exercises I must do at home. (Please note: there’s no fooling Adrian, he can tell when you haven’t worked on your exercises.) He is very good at explaining why certain muscles are hurting and what we can do together to alleviate my distress. Renee Knowles, the Physiotherapy Assistant, is in charge of showing me exactly how to correctly perform these important exercises. She makes learning each exercise fun, while showing me the exact body position I should be in. All in all, there’s good, warm energy at Lifemark. I feel their Team work together so I can succeed in being able to lead an active lifestyle free of pain.

I benefitted greatly from the combination of hands-on physiotherapy and supervised exercise program. The atmosphere is very friendly and the caring staff support you and cheer on your progress. My exercises were adapted as I recovered to help me return to "normal" faster.

I was battling severe and chronic neck pain from an MVC for the past year and a half and after seeing various doctors and physiotherapist I thought that this was something that I would have to live with. Within a few sessions with Adrian I was feeling much better. I still have pain and discomfort but not at the levels I did. I am very sad to see that Adrian had left to go with another company as he is truly valuable to whomever he works for. If it was not for Adrian leaving Lifemark I would have given a 5 star. From the first visit to now going into my fourth week of treatments, they have given me back my mobility, my confidence and best of all guiding me back to my regular life. Ben is brilliant with his exercise routines that zone right in the route of my lower back pain and explains how exercises and stretching will help my path to improvement. Sonali is an awesome physiotherapist, it is amazing how she can target my trouble area and free me of pain and discomfort. The staff at lifemark was so exceptionally comforting even before the start of therapy. They helped us very generously with all their time, knowledge and expert services. My surgery was Nov.20 and after going twice a week starting Nov. 26 until the present my range of motion is 120 and my extension 180. Renee was wonderful to work with and knew exactly the right thing to say to help you work a little harder to reach your goal.
