January 10, 2017 I would like to express my gratitude to Stephen Potter, Registered Acupuncturist at Health Space Therapeutics in Whitehorse YT. I went to seek the help of Mr. Potter as I was suffering from acute vertigo, general weakness and pain and after only after a few days and a few treatments (the needles don't hurt!:) I feel immensely better. I am familiar with Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture as I have experienced their wonderful benefits for the last 25 years and, as a new comer to the Yukon, I feel fortunate indeed to have become a patient of Stephen Potter. Stephen Potter, the Registered Acupuncturist @ HST is AMAZING. As a violinist I've struggled on and off for 15 years with chronic shoulder/neck pain & tension. I tried physio, massages, stretches, somatics, relaxation techniques and nothing ever made a lasting difference. In the last year I started getting burning in my forearm, frequent back muscle spasms and intense pain in my thumbs. I became very frustrated and finally was suggested acupuncture. Stephen was the only person to ever provide a diagnosis that made sense and connected everything to scar tissue in my shoulders. I've been going for a few weeks and for the first time in years I can lift my arms without pain and move my shoulders without extreme grinding/clunking!! His treatment is even more impressive due to how many years I have struggled with this seemingly unfixable problem. I am very hopeful and grateful. More people need to know about acupuncture instead of physio for chronic pain!
