I have been going to see Adryon Hutton for my RMT appointments since I had been in a car accident. This woman has magic in her hands. She is booked solid months in advance, and for good reason. She knows how to target your injuries and relieve tension like no one else. She works with the Lions and during the Rugby 7’s with the teams, and you can tell. She is literally the only person who has managed to give any relief to my injury. I am very thankful to have found her, otherwise my injury was very disabling. I also see Dana for my Chiro appointments and have also had Naturopathic visits with Dr. Kaur. There is a stellar and very capable collection of therapists and practitioners at Legacies for any kind of injury. I highly recommend going in where you can find anyone you need under one roof.

Followed my RMT Shum from a previous location to Legacies and I love it here. Very clean and spacious, the massage tables are very comfortable. Shum is very knowledgeable and can really work through muscle issues with ease and gives great post-massage stretches and exercises. Highly recommend!

My experience at Legacies at Southpoint was far worse than subpar. Right from the beginning I was not impressed. I did what I considered to be my due diligence by asking if they would bill directly and they said they did. I also provide the "therapist" with notes from my previous Therapist so she could have some background. I arrived and they didn't even want to see my insurance info, which I thought was weird, and I didn't fill out any kind of health history forms - that's a common medical procedure in my mind. As I sat, I noticed that things were very unkept - tape from old flyers still stuck to the walls was just a start - wonder if they even clean the chairs between patients??!! I doubt it. The therapist asked me a few questions about my history, I informed her that I had sent over my previous chart notes, which she had not even looked at, so she left the room to read over them. She was back very quickly and said, "there are a lot of them...". WTH....Shouldn't you have at least taken the time to read them?? So, she continued with her questions and decided on a course of treatment with minimal range of motion testing or tenderness palpation and limited history...poor clinical practice! She was committed to her treatment plan. I was keen to try it, in conjunction with something that would help long term, but this quick fix would not solve all my issues (three days later, my pain is coming back). She was very unorganized, in and out multiple times. The face towel was dirty/stained, the pillow didn't even have a case on it, the table was only cleaned on top because I had a clear view of the floor for at least 15 minutes. Once the treatment was over, I had to pay out of pocket (of which I asked about BEFORE I arrived), they kindly submitted my claim for me (but I will verify that) and they didn't even thank me or asked if I wanted to book another appointment. WOW! No customer service, dirty and professionals that are, in my opinion, not trained to a medical standard in which I am expecting. I have very extensive medical experience and knowledge and I want people to know they might be very disappointed with this "fast food" medical service. Terrible!

The doctor was good, but they like to double bill. They just sent me a bill from 2018, stating I still owe them 115.00. If your paying, do not do it in cash, have a paper trail and keep it safe and for a long time. These people are either horrible at book keeping or just flat out crooks. They will never get my business again, and if they did this to me, then what are they billing the insurance companies for?

Small office but very clean and organized. They don't have a receptionist but the therapist are on top of their call list. Giving out reminders of the appointments and calling to confirm the schedule. Overall is a great place to go for massage. They also direct bill your insurance company :)

Twice in a row I have shown up to this location and been informed that I do not have an appointment and nothing shows in their system. I did however receive prior text reminders showing the date and time of my appointment which I showed to the staff. My appointments were booked over the phone and not on their client portal. As a service provider, it is crucial that you understand how to create and keep client appointments. My advice is fix your system and don't waste your clients valuable time.

When news broke out I was one of the many people who got excited when they opened another branch in Nordel because it`s much more closer to home and sure enough Ryan was exceptional. He always starts with questions regarding my health and if I have any new problems. He does an excellent job attending to my needs. He is very knowledgeable and very professional. Amazing therapeutic massage! I had the greatest experience with Jacalyn Lynch. I am a Fitness Instructor and teach over 14 hours of fitness a week. She found all my issues without me even having to go into detail. She gave me great advice that has helped me deal with overuse injuries, and long term recovery of tennis elbow and shoulder/ rotator issues. To rehabilitate after an MVA injury I went to quite a few health centers specializing in recovery. My injury for the most part felt the same. Then I decided to come to legacies health after my family doctor recommended chiro. After just the first few sessions with chiropractor Jay at the South point location, I could say for a fact he has helped me recover significantly better than anyone at the other places I visited. Really nice RMTs and good massages. However, I am giving 3 stars because for a 30 minute massage, they only give me 15-20 minutes of actual massage. I asked them about this and they said it's to give them time to change the tables and give feedback. Unfortunately 15 minutes doesn't really do much. I spoke to others in the industry and they said that the centre shouldn't cut into customer time like that, and should add the extra 15 minutes in between clients to ensure they get the service they pay for. So, I'm switching to another centre that says they give the full 30 minutes. Too bad for the RMTs, they are great. This is just a business system issue.

If I could give negative star to this place I would. I booked an appointment for Nov 23 but it was booked for a wrong treatment. The doctor did not have the stuff with her to treat me. I drove all the way from abbotsford to white rock (1 hour each way) only to hear sorry we cant help you. I was nice and said it is okay. We humans make errors and rebooked to Dec 23rd (a treatment I wanted delayed by a month now) I called on Dec 21, confirmed my appointment and verified what it was for and the lady confirmed it is for what i want and oh by the way when I was rescheduled Dr. Paaras came out and made sure right type of appointment was booked. Come dec 23rd I am driving on the highway and I get a call that doctor cant fit me in and wants to reschedule. I asked her hy cant she fit me in. I am already booked!!! The receptionist puts me hold and comes back to say wrong appointment was booked and they can put me another day.WELL NO THAT IS NOT TRUE. YOUR DOCTOR PROBABLY FORGOT TO BRING THE STUFF AGAIN AND NOW IS BLAMING IT ON OTHERS. I AM LIVID AND WOULD NEVER DEAL WITH YOU GUYS OR THAT DOCTOR AGAIN WHO CANT OWN UP TO HER ERRORS. I would recommend their PT Avneet probably one of the best, highly professional, qualified and knows what he is dealing with. before i came to this place, i went to other PTs and chiros for 2.5 months and they didnt know what was going on in my shoulder and upper back. I experienced lower back pain and leg cramps during pregnancy. After consultation and approval from my physician, I booked an appointment to see my RMT in South Surrey branch. My RMT used a specialize foam pad to support my growing belly and so I can roll facing downwards. The said treatments really helped me ease the pain. I have been seeing my RMT for regular treatments before, while I was pregnant and post pregnancy. I highly recommend my RMT RYAN ABREU, he is the best! He makes you feel comfortable and assure everything is safe and effective.

I was in a car accident (I should go for maintenance visits but can put things off) lol so I usually end up waiting too long. I've been to many massage therapists over the years however when we moved out to White Rock I needed to find someone more locally. Not knowing who to choose I called 6 in the vicinity. Legacies Health Centre was the only one that had a live person to talk to when I called while all the others I had to leave voice mails. Highly recommend Avneet at the 152st and 32 ave location. Very respectful, polite and knowledgeable. He is one of the physio therapist there. I came there not able to walk or have any movement in my foot. 7 sessions just a little over a 2 week period, I am now able to stand and bare my weight on my foot and take over 20 steps. It's been a very stressful time for me as 4 doctors all diagnosed me with different answers, not knowing what was exactly wrong with me. Avneet has been more helpful to me then anyone has.

Been seeing RMT Shummy for a few months now. I'd moved into the area and had tried several RMTs out but was unsatisfied. Shummy is a sports RMT. If you're looking for someone who can get in there and provide some good, firm pressure, he's your guy. I always feel great after a treatment and can't wait for my next one. Don't worry, he can also vary the pressure for whatever you're comfortable with if you're not into the extreme firm pressure like I am. He's professional and prompt. I would highly recommend the clinic and Shummy to anyone who's looking for a knowledgeable and talented RMT.

Very happy with the service here at Legacies. As someone who is fairly active and has always had lower back pains and foot/ankle pains and injuries, those are pretty much non-existent after coming to Legacies. My physiotherapist Harp recommended trying out dry needling/IMS for my ankle. I am not a big fan of needles, however needling has erased my ankle pain. I was suspect about it at first, but after 2 months of needling sessions I would highly recommend using this treatment. My massage therapist Jacalyn has been very helpful in alleviating my lower back pains I’ve had since high school. My quality of life has definitely improved and my lower back pains are very minimal after the work Jacalyn has done. All in all I am very pleased with the service at Legacies. The Legacies staff, practitioners and reception, have all been great.

The scheduling & confirmation of your appointments is not conducted professionally. I was called to cancel my appointment as the doctor was sick, I asked that I be rescheduled instead of it being cancelled as I had been preparing for this appointment the two weeks prior. I was told that they have re-scheduled my appointment for few days later. Later that day I checked that I had not received an email confirming as such. I emailed the centre asking for confirmation, they said an email had been sent when in fact it had not been. I asked that they check their information as this wasn't the first time they cancelled my appointment without confirming my details (long story short, they cancelled my appointment for another patient with the same name, different gender and birthday, but did they confirm that before cancelling? no they did not). Anyways, I did not get a follow up the same day but rather two days later confirming my appointment was confirmed. I did not receive the usual email reminder or pre-assessment check, however since they had confirmed it, I went to the centre for my appointment. The reception looked in the system and said my appointment wasn't there, even after all that, my appointment had been deleted by another worker from the Nordel location. Luckily the doctor was able to see me 30 minutes later. This location needs to get their act together, their customer service is lacking. I would not recommend this centre to anyone I know. Call me NOT impressed.

Staff at South point location is very friendly. I have dealt with Sumanlatha (Physiotherapist), she is very kind and caring. Lately, I have dealt with Dr Bloomquist, who I found equally wonderful. One of the other major reasons that got me to write this review is the excellent service I recieved today. I emailed them my xray and requested to pass it to Dr Bloomquist for review and requested a call back. I didn't have trust if someone will actually follow up so quickly or even a follow up. But to my surprise, the location called me same day within couple of hours and got me an appointment booked based on the review. Way to go. Thanks guys!

Everytime I've seen her, she always educates me on my personal health and I feel like I know my body a lot better now. As a college baseball athlete at Central Washington University, a lot of my confidence on the field is largely dependent on the treatment I receive inbetween games, and during the off-season. When I am home for the off-season, Ryan Abreu from Massage Therapy does a great job at working through the specific problems (in this case my arm) I was facing and went about relieving the pain/tightness efficiently. He was able to quickly identify what areas were problematic and needed work by asking the right questions and wasting no time. He also does a good job of applying enough pressure to relieve the muscle, without an unbearable amount of pain. This, I think is important for athletes trying to get healthy as soon as possible. Ryan’s treatments were valuable, and allowed me to train and practice (more) comfortably and prepare for another season. I would highly recommend anyone playing a sport experiencing recurring pain or with an injury to see Ryan. The helpful staff and excellent facilities are also a huge plus.

My reservation was for 30 mins but the actual time i was treated was 15 mins including 10min of consulting which means i only got less than 5 mins for treatment. it wasn’t like he didn’t know what he was doing but didnt seem to have any professionalism. In three sessions, Ryan Abreu reached into my muscles and undid years of compounded damage that other physicians had been unable to tame. I went to Legacies Health Centre to see naturopath Paaras Kaur . I received a 15 minute free consultation then booked an hour and 15 min appointment. When I left her office I realized I had a question about the supplements she had given me, so I called back straight away. The receptionist told me she would let her know. I waited two days called back and by now the supplements were making me feel ill. I told the receptionist and once again she told me she would let her know. Monday SIX days later I called and explained the situation. Again the receptionist said she would let her know! The receptionist calls me back two hours later saying I have to book a phone consultation and pay again. I am extremely disappointed with Dr Paaras Kaur , she could not even spare five minutes to follow up. I cancelled my next appointment and would not recommend her to anyone!

My name is Gurpreet. I came to Legacies over 2 years ago when my hip was out of place and my 2 bulging discs were causing lots of pain and sciatica. I couldn't stand straight and went through many RMT's that didn't really help. I booked the first opening I got and it was with Ryan Abreu. Within 2 sessions, I was up, standing straight and free of pain. I attended my brother's wedding that week and was dancing around pain free. I still book appointments with Ryan until this day. It's hard to come by a great RMT and I can say without a doubt, Ryan has absolutely helped me go pain free and keep on playing hockey and other sports multiple times a week. If you are having issues I would highly recommend Ryan Abreu to everyone.
