Received an amazing care in ED.Great staff, nurses and doctors. Very professional and caring . Highly recommend.

The doctors and nurses are great but the support staff are rude. The receptionist who answers the main phone is especially rude and unhelpful. She should keep in mind that someone calling the hospital is likely not having a great day.

Isn’t something!? Plumber, carpenter,as myself a class 1 driver, The people at Tim Hortons making the coffee,And so many more. When we do a mistake,We acknowledge it ,we repair it ,we corrected it,we make it right! But the most important job in the world for us to be able to continue to participate as our best in society and for the people around us, When they make a mistake or they act out of emotions and do us wrong,Thy simply try to hide it. Doctors and nurses in this hospital (as I am a victim of their malpractice) will hide the wrong They did so they won’t lose a paycheque. They lie to do something wrong and wrecked someone’s life but it’s too hard for them to be honest and set things right. In my life experience I have noticed ,rare are the people who will repent for the wrongdoing they did unless they get caught and have to face the consequences. In football as in life, the quarterback (doctors and nurses) can not win the game without it’s team. We take care of everything for you(doctors and nurses), you have roads and building and services all across this country. The only thing you have to do is your jobs, as well then all of us who are sacrificing our life every day to make things happen. Respect what we pay to contribute and make your life possible! Somehow, practically all COVID 19 cases are man

Worst hospital in Canada. Period! Admissions wont leave a phone call to admit a patient, chatting with co-workers, and grabbing calls while you stand waiting. Sadly it is the only real hospital in the Yukon. WGH is garbage, I have been to the hospital 5 times in the last three years and every time there is some instance of unprofessional conduct. BC/AB hospitals are both easily 10 times busier and still offer better care than the WGH in the Yukon. If i could give a half star i would have...

Have spent far more time here in the last 2 years than I would prefer - and have always seen attentive, caring nurses, thorough and compassionate doctors, and amazing support staff. They do their best to make a hard time as smooth as they are able.

Poor service, no test nothing. I know my body and when something is wrong. Doctors up here sont listen

Even AFTER the hospital received a pre-trip notification from a community nurse, STILL had to wait two f@$ken hours BEFORE taking bloodwork when they were already aware of the situation - what a joke, not to mention seeing all the nurses huddled around a desk gossiping. F@#ken WOW

I have to unfortunately add my voice to those who are dissatisfied with the Whitehorse General Hospital. I've had to go there for care about 3 -4 times over a ten year period and have always felt disrespected and treated like a number. I found the nurses to be arrogant and controlling and when I try to phone to give feedback, there is no understanding or empathy.

While the hospital' 'triage' skills leave a lot of room for improvement, they seem to take the loudest first.. The Doctors I had, and the nurses, were beyond wonderful..i don't know how they do it.. special people..If you're going to be sick..this is the place to be.

I've been a patient, in and out back and forth, since 2009, being a 3 time cancer survivor; now landing in 2019 fighting the same fight a 4th time, have been overly pleased with the Doctors & Nurses care throughout this T1N1 Squamous cell struggle, at WGH. I also have experienced questionable treatment, mainly in the Emergency settings; but heathcare has been on the decline everywhere, I've felt like like a transient number in AB & BC just the same. Employees are over-stretched, over-worked, & complainingly underpaid..???? just repeating what I've had to listen to, as a patient, is all; hard not to hear such expressions echoing across late-night hallways.???? It seems, we can all take things personal or the wrong way, when under specific pressures. In my latest struggling bought, I find myself, being able to shrug it off, & just "be happy" to be above ground; & able to experience the bad that goes with the good ????. In Unity ????????, may the creator continue to provide what we need, not as much we may want.????.

Worst health care in the world and doctors treat there patients like there giving them a free hand out when in fact they are paid by all of us more than they are worth. Patients are scared to ask questions due to gettting worse treatment. Unfair and completely unacceptable

Great care here in the North.

Why would you call me if you didn’t wanna give me an appointment? Not a great experience, unprofessional workers.

Excellent staff and services here.

I mean, it's a hospital. It's not prefect, but my personal experiences there have mostly been positive...most of the nurses are really good...there are of course a few grumpy ones, a few snooty ones. The emergency department can be a pretty long wait sometimes with some sketchy folk, but if you're the "squeaky" wheel...in a lot of pain, or they can see that your situation is more urgent than the others, then you will get in faster. The first time I gave birth there, they did forget to bring me meals for the first two days...but it was my first stay in a hospital and I had no idea they were supposed to feed me, so it took a while for them to realise...that was pretty bad I suppose...but just as well, because the food there is nothing to brag about anyway!

A brilliant team working in exceptional times. Positive people. The food however... well it's a hospital, but could be greatly improved.

My name is Lucimar Dias De Araujo. My husband Errol took me to this hospital and i was treated with respect and care by the nurses and the all doctors. Thank you all very much for your caring.

The staff on the top level are excellent and really care about your well being. The doctors are exceptional at what they do. Very recommended for any mental health concerns.

Have had mostly good experiences here. The maternity ward nurses and doctors (female) are great at their jobs: very comforting, obviously care about their work, and deal with patients professionally and kindly. Had a few different experiences in emerg, two were with excellent doctors (male) that had great bedside manner and were really good at caring for emotionally heightened patients. A third experience was not so great: had a doctor (male) who, instead of admitting that perhaps he wasn't the right professional to consult for the issue I was having (and instead of referring me to a more capable care-provider), told me to "do some yoga" to fix my pain problem... He also clearly did not believe me when I explained the amout of pain I was in and instead looked to my husband to gauge whether I was exaggerating/making up my pain.
