Following a fatal head on highway collision caused by a distracted driver, and 7 weeks in hospital, I found myself at Tawa. Immediately I felt welcome and similar experience to Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital. They work you hard but freely. The ball is in your court with amazing guidance. I've been going to Tawa for one year now and they treat me like family. Regina is the glue and tells me I'm staff now. Trevor is my therapist and it's like he took over the reins from Glenrose. He's super professional and does it with added humour, understanding, and compassion. He knows when you are having a lazy day and he knows when you are sincerely struggling. He has been a blessing and always has a great answer to, "is this normal?" Being at Tawa for a year, even the staff needs a holiday so I have had the pleasure to work with Dave as well. He shares Trevor's professionalism, compassion, and humour. Tawa has definitely helped my healing and strength. The caring and sometimes hilarious atmosphere Regina provides to all who enter the front door, makes the visits worth it, even on the lazy days.

The staff are amazing; friendly, supportive and personable are just a few words I would use to describe them. I’ve been seeing Trevor here since February after someone rear ended my SUV and I have felt nothing but support during my recovery from Trevor and the other staff members, Regina, Nav and Alicia just to name a few!! And the fact that they direct bill for personal claims and for motor vehicle insurance claims is incredible. I had both knees replaced, each surgery about a year apart. My surgeon told me to go here after the 2nd surgery and I wish I knew about Tawa physio the first time too. I got so much more help here with a great variety of exercises and access to their gym equipment, which I never got at the other millwoods clinic. The staff are wonderful and the place is bright and newly renovated. If I ever need physio again this is my first choice.

Being a competitive athlete I've had my share of sports injuries! Tawa physio has always been there for me whenever I've been hurt. Their physiotherapists and massage therapists are the best, and always help me recover quickly. I was travelling overseas last year and developed a painful Achilles tendinitis in the last 6 months of my trip. Trevor gave me shockwave treatment when I got back and my pain was gone after one treatment! If you need physio or massage, this is the best clinic!

I had to see Dave, Trevor and the wonderful staff at Tawa P/T after I had a complete tear in my Achilles Tendon, this was then followed by surgery and months of rehab. My recovery has been very hard but without them I would not be taking my walks every day. I can’t thank them enough.

Highly recommend seeing Dr Sharan at Tawa Physio clinic. She is a wonderful physio and helped me with my pain in left thumb, had sprain while playing basketball. She did the x ray and asked about my pain and if any other history I had. She is very knowledgable. She suggested me some exercise to get rid of my pain. I have no pain at all in my left thum and is all great. Would definitely recommend Dr Sharan. Wish i could give more than 5 stars ????

I started coming to Tawa physical therapy after I got injured at work. After being led down by my former physiotherapist, I decided to check this place out and I was not disappointed. Ever since I started seeing Grant for my shoulder, I’ve noticed great improvement. He is by far the best physiotherapist I’ve ever come across. He is very experienced, knows what he is doing and always encourages his patients. He is not like the rest of the physiotherapists who just give you exercises to do at home. He makes sure you do them in the gym area at the clinic. The front desk ladies (Nav, Brittany and Sherry) are really polite and accommodating. Everyone at this clinic is amazing!!! Very good customer service. All staff from reception to treatment rooms incredibly friendly & helpful. My Physiotherapist Sharanjeet – very knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough in her work. She was superb at explaining everything she was doing and why it would help me for my knee pain and the plantar fasciitis. The work she did with me over a number of weeks was first class and has completely sorted my knee pain. Also, my heel pain due to the plantar fasciitis is sorted out as well with her expertise in shock wave therapy. Now it is all down to me to maintain it by doing all the exercises recommended by her. I was quite anxious starting physio, but she made me feel comfortable and her treatment helped me significantly. Sharanjeet is very professional with a great wealth of knowledge, nice and cares about your well-being. I would highly recommend Sharanjeet and going to this clinic to anyone in need of physio treatment.

I have been working with Dave for about 4 weeks now. He reviewed the injury thoroughly, made an exercise & recovery plan to help me get my strength and movement back to 100%. I have made great improvements in the past few weeks with his help, a testament to Dave's work. All the staff is very friendly and caring. I started going to see Trevor there for physio in Jan 2018 after a car accident in late Dec. He was able to help me deal with the issues from my accident and help get my strength back (I went from daily migraines and back cramps/spasms to now being able to squat and deadlift at the gym again). The other physio's there always seemed nice as well and the physio assistants were very helpful. The clinic staff are also very friendly and knowledgeable. I mostly dealt with Regina at the front desk and she was great; I had to go through insurance and she was always able to answer my questions and work around my weird schedule. They're the type of group who remember you and will call to make sure you're ok if they haven't seen you in awhile. Highly recommended!

Went there last year after knee replacement. The therapist is running around between me and other patients; some times forgetting me. After several visits and me thinking all was okay; my therapist is on holidays and her replacements informs me I am way behind in being able to bend my knee properly. Now it is too late as scar tissue has taken over and I need another procedure by doctor to break the scar tissue. Also, old equipment and bikes that don't work.
