Back Works is the best! Last year I was unable to walk due to excruciating sciatic nerve pain. Fortunately I went to Lisa for treatment and after working with her I was back to myself and able to ride my bike all summer. She is a tremendously thorough, experienced and well educated practitioner.

After suffering from a debilitating back injury after a fall on ice, Dave Gilman has been instrumental in getting me back on my feet, exercising, running, and feeling strong again! He took time to recognize and diagnose my injury and provided specific manual therapy, treatments, stretches and exercises as I progressed through my recovery. Dave’s friendly and humorous personality always kept me smiling through the tough days wondering if I’d ever be pain free again. He constantly helped me set realistic goals throughout my recovery plan and was the positive motivator that I needed to get back to my normal self. Furthermore, Dave Wilkinson fit me for custom orthotics that have been very imperative to my recovery. Lastly, the office staff; I have never met a more friendly, professional and caring group of ladies. Diane, Debbie and Erica, thank you for always providing exceptional service with a smile. I've been seeing Stephanie DaSilva for over a year now and I couldn't be happier! The entire Back Works team are fantastic. Having chronic pain for 14 years with very little pain management options I wish I would have investigated physio therapy a lot sooner. Stephanie is a genius at tailoring a treatment plan specifically designed for your needs. When I was in a car accident and suffered a herniated disc my doctor was clueless and left me to figure things out on my own. I'm so grateful that I found Steph! I couldn't even stand up or walk, without Steph's help who knows where I would be today. I continue to see her weekly for work on my back along with dry needling, acupuncture and trigger point release for my chronic pain. Steph takes the time to get to know you as a person not just a patient. I've never felt so comfortable or safe in a medical setting before. She's extremely kind and so funny! My fiancé and I are forever grateful, finally I'm able to get some relief after so many years of suffering.

Treatment and staff is very nice. Only complaint is in the year and a bit I have been coming here not one appointment has started on time. Generally 15-20 minutes late which is very frustrating for planning.

She brings confidence, compassion, humanness, and a vast array of knowledge to her work. I can't recommend Back Works enough. Namely, Andrew Hubbard. I went in to Back Works with very limited overhead mobility, significant shoulder pain, and lower back pain, amongst other things. Andrew swiftly recognized my condition, and within days of my first appointment he had coordinated with my family doctor to get spinal imaging done and a rehab program started. Three months later, my overhead mobility is better than it ever has been, I have almost zero shoulder pain, zero lower back pain, and I can work out and play sports with more confidence than I have ever been able to. Andrew is incredibly knowledgeable and has had a concise answer for every question I have asked. All the other physiotherapists I have heard work with clients really seem to have the same level of professionalism and expertise. The receptionist Dianne is always very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for the best physiotherapist you can find and one you can totally trust to help you take charge of your physical health, look no further than Back Works.

I highly recommend this clinic! Lisa Is beyond professional incredibly catering to your needs. Her attention to detail is wonderful and she is incredibly encouraging. I have to include that the ladies running reception are outstanding. The level of professionalism is unlike any other business I’ve visited. I’ve been attending Backworks since I had a motor vehicle accident on January 20, 2020. Everyone of the staff I have interacted with has been wonderful. The person I do physio with is Dave Gilman. He is very educated and passes me along a lot of information to learn about why I have pain where I do, as well as what we can do to make it better. He gives me optimism that I may be able to return to a job that I initially thought would be impossible. He gives me many different tools I can do at home to help towards my recovery. I would highly recommend Backworks to anyone that needs this type of care. I never feel rushed and feel all my questions are answered fully.
