As a non-genetically gifted runner, I first reached out to Dr. Nicole seeking a Graston Technique appointment. Over two years later, Dr. Nicole is a valued member of my running pit crew Her formal training includes functional assessment, Mulligan Technique, and acupuncture which provide an arsenal of options for treatment modalities. Dr. Nicole is very thorough with her assessment and takes time to explain her diagnosis and treatment. Her follow-up questions ensure that any concerns are quickly addressed. I found that her providing targeted exercises I can do at home between our sessions greatly improved my recovery time and decreased the number of in-office appointments required. Many reviews applaud her friendliness and I must say it again. She is a warm and genuinely caring person who makes you feel well tended every visit.

Working towards my first figure competition has brought to light some priorities for me as an athlete. With intense training comes an increased risk for injury. This risk, and the constant strain and demand I put on my body requires a strong foundation of support. Knowing that I need expertise in physiotherapy, chiropractics and deep tissue massage therapy, it only makes sense to go somewhere that can offer me all of these services under one roof. I chose Pro Function because of their ability to meet this requirement; but I stay with and recommend them because they excel at what they do. They are thorough, well versed in their practice, focused on athletes and most importantly, they work together as a team to bring forward a collaborative plan of care that is well-rounded, open and effective for me as their patient.

Pro Function's massage therapist Merissa was instrumental in getting me back into the gym quickly and accelerating my recovery through deep-tissue and other techniques. Through consultation and her practice, Merissa is incredibly helpful in isolating the most effective areas for treatment. Merissa uses the perfect amount of pressure and I've found her more consistent than other therapists. Highly recommended.

She is the only one who practices and even knows about this type of treatment in London. Dr. Thornicroft is pure excellence. I see her for musculoskeletal (I am not sure of the spelling) - which is at times resistant to adjustment. She is always able to adjust treatments (stretching, mobility work) to REALLY alleviate the pain. Very knowledgeable and adaptive. Cannot recommend enough.

Definitely recommend to anyone needing care. Dr. Jordan is wonderful, helping me rehab issues I have had with my back, shoulder and knee. I have taken my daughter (age 8) to him as well. The rest of the team there I have only had treat me a couple times if Dr. Jordan wasn't available, however they are equally as skilled and amazing! I completely trust them and their work. I have also recommended Dr. Joe to a friend whose daughter had a concussion. I learn a lot from the entire group there. I strongly recommend Pro Function. If I could give them more then 5 stars, I would! The downtown location on Ann Street is great with free parking, and easily accessible. The office is ultra modern with exposed brick and industrial detailing, such as Edison bulbs. The offices and gym are very clean and organized; no distracting clutter. The staff and practitioners are friendly and very knowledgeable. The online booking program is easy to use, and very convenient. Free wifi is always a bonus too! The practitioners are very well educated and leaders in their fields. They continue to upgrade their education, allowing them to be up to date on the newest trends and research in physio therapy and body science. Many are involved in teaching within their field. Update: Pro Function’s Covid-19 precautions and cleaning procedures are second to none. They have developed a streamlined process for cleaning after each patient treatment. All staff are wearing masks, and following government recommendations and standards as required. I am very impressed with the quick adjustments made, and the ease of the transition to our “new world.” I feel very safe attending this clinic, as I am confident that all possible precautions are being strictly followed and enforced.

I first saw Erik Schmidt at Body Mechanics several years ago. My initial treatment of that injury left a lasting impression on me. Erik is extremely good at his job. Since then, I have sought Erik's expertise, for more than a few injuries over the years, leading me to Pro Function. I can always rely on Erik to bring me back to optimal mobility in a short time! I swear he is a miracle worker! Erik is highly educated, surpassingly skilled, professional, kind, caring, and patient. And 100% effective! There was a time recently, where our schedules conflicted, therefore he suggested I see his colleague, Dr. Nicole Thornicroft. I was just as impressed by her care, as I have been with Erik. They have 2 locations in the city, one in south London, and a newer location in downtown London, on Ann Street. This location has a modern and industrial, cozy feel to it. Kim, Patient Care Liason, that takes care of bookings etc. at the reception area, has been very helpful getting me in when I need. I highly recommend Pro Function! You won't be disappointed.
