She has helped me so much with my chronic migraines and tension in my neck/shoulder/upper back area, and has given me some great exercises/stretches to do at home and at work relieve pain and tension. Since I've tried everything from getting my ears cleaned out by my doctor to changing my diet with little change, I decided what the hell, may as well give acupuncture a try! Okay, I was not a believer but after four sessions I have to say that I am feeling a difference. I have not had a dizzy spell in days, and acupuncture is not as scary as I thought. Richard's very good at making it a pleasant experience and the clinic has a calming atmosphere. Overall, a great experience so far.

I was doing renos and injured my lower back again, could not move, was on heavy dizzying and nauseating meds but still the pain was immobilizing. It just so happened that there was a cx and Yal was available. She took a very thorough assessment of my health and went to work with acupuncture. I left the office feeling better but when I got home and the meds finally wore off the pain was completely gone. Usually I'm out with my lower back pain for two weeks. This was one day. Huge thanks to Richard and his amazing team of professionals. I’ve had severe back pain since my car accident a few years back, to the point that I had to lay down and call in sick for work, if I were to work on my feet for 8 hours. As an event planner, I need to be on my feet sometimes up to 14 hours, from set up to take down, and this physically demanding work requires a strong back….Which sadly I did not have. Thanks to him, I’m able to successfully go to work, be it in my office for 8 hours a day planning and emailing sponsors, or at an event like TIFF. I LOVE how they also do direct billing, which is such a relief for me. When you are in pain, the last thing on your mind is to have to deal with the bureaucracy of insurance companies, and all of their nonsense. He truly cares for his patients success, and is not rushing you to get in and out of his office, like other clinics I’ve been to. So thank you again, and I am eternally grateful to be able to live my life again with added mobility, and without constant pain.

I was a first time customer, and was advised to arrive (15 minute) early to fill out the paper work. Their opening hour is 9:30am, and I arrived at 9:45am for my 10:00am appointment. My paid parking was wasted as they were not even opened until 9:57am. The staff didn’t apologize for the late opening, was actually my RMT, casually chatted with me, started at around 10:10am. Had the infant massage, ended the session early because my LO wasn’t enjoying it (paid for the full session). Didn’t have a pleasant experience. -- Update: Richard did reach out and sent me long & condescending emails about how Marla has many happy clients. Even though he had apologized that Marla shouldn’t had recommended using petrolatum-based oil for the infant massage; that she doesn’t understand because she doesn’t have kids of her own. He now turns around and blame me for posting the review in attempt to hurt his business.

Update 11/2021 No matter who I book with at Yellow Gazebo, physiotherapy, massage, etc. the treatments are always great; the level of professionalism is very consistent. I appreciate that they show care and often provide exercises to do at home via email to further help correct underlying issues for the long term. — I highly recommend Yellow Gazebo. I have been going there for about a year and have seen 2 different RMT both of which have been excellent. The place is welcoming, beautifully designed and clean; the owner and staff are extremely friendly and professional. A wonderful addition to the St. Clair West neighbourhood. It's nice that they have quite a range of services available beyond massage (acupuncture, naturopath, etc.) if you ever need various approaches for one problem since they can work together to develop the best plan. I also appreciate the convenience of being able to book my appointments online.

She checked in early on and once I confirmed what felt great she was consistent with that pressure the whole time. She also adjusted the music and overall the entire experience was about what I would enjoy. When I was done she asked if I wanted any suggestions for stretching my neck as that’s where I’m tight. I was recently reccomended Yellow Gazebo by a coworker. I have had some severe pain in my upper back shoulders and neck. I went in initially for a massage with Kristine to loosen me up, and went for a Chiro consult with Corrinne. Kristine gave a very thorough and deep massage. Unlocking areas of stress and tension I hadn't even fully realised were there. I could feel all the knots and tension being worked down and out as she went deep in on them. When she wasn't working on as high tension areas mainly my lower legs, I almost nodded off a few times I was so relaxed. While I'm still sore(in a good way) from the very deep thorough massage from Kristine. The session with Corrinne was amazing and I feel at least 50-60% better after a single initial assessment and treatment. She was able to assess exactly what was causing it and had a thorough approach on how to relieve it. She also gave me some exercises/stretches to work on it in the mean time. I can't be more thankful to Richard. I discovered I had total Placenta Previa from my 19weeks ultrasound. My midwife said in my case, most likely my placenta won't move away from the cervix, which I would end up having c-section, and I might have bleeding at some point which could be life threatening. Richard treated me few times a week with accupuncture and I drink (still do) the herbs he gave me almost everyday, and I had a miracle!!!! Last week I had another ultrasound to check the position of my placenta, it is now uncover the cervix!!! The position is still low, but my midwife said it is safe enough to have a vaginal birth, plus I still have more weeks to go, so it might grew higher. I am so so relieved and grateful. I am still continue having the treatments every week to prepare my body for the brith. If you have similar issues, don't give up your hope, Traditional Chinese Medicine could help. Thank you Richard! Ryan is an outstanding R.M.T. His knowledge of the body is extensive and he uses a wide variety of techniques intelligently to relieve pain, help realign stressed muscles and allow your mind and body to relax. He recommends stretches and exercises to continue the effects of the massage. I like that he is tuned into the body in a way that allows him to work deeply without causing pain. He's great to work with as are the other professionals I've gone to at the Yellow Gazebo.
