Wonderful team! I feel really welcome here, everyone is eager to help, and always welcome me with a smile. I'm seeing Prashant for help with lower back pain/muscle weakness. He is a fantastic listener and very attentive. He has a gentle touch and manages to challenge me with exercises while not pushing to the point of pain. Our son broke his ankle this summer playing soccer. He was in an air cast for 6 weeks. When the doctors removed the cast, it was like he had forgotten how to walk. ????. The doctor recommended physio. We began going to Ayr Physio in late July. Kathy has been our physiotherapist and we have worked with several of her assistance. Kathy has been great ????. Extremely knowledgeable and professional. She has been able to explain each of the procedures and exercises so that my son can understand the importance of doing them as well as informing us on his progress and improvements. In a very short time he was walking properly again and he is regaining is strength and balance now. We have also been very impressed with the friendliness and courteousness of the front office staff and each of the assistance. We have already recommended the office to our friends and family. The worst experience I have had. I was in agony. The therapist did not want to be there. She asked me some questions, put tape on the muscle and then did literally Nothing! No heat, no massage, no information. She was completely disinterested. I paid almost $150 for 20 minutes of nothing. Avoid this place.

I have been receiving physio from Prashant for about 3 weeks now and he along with all of the staff that I have interacted with at the clinic have been fantastic. I injured my knee and was having a lot of pain and was not able to walk more than a short distance. I called the clinic and they were able to get me in within a few days for an assessment. After just a few weeks of physio, I am now able to resume my regular activities pain free.

I have been going to Ayr Physiotherapy for the last several years and have received extraordinary services from Kathy Chesney. She has gone above and beyond the call of duty to try to get to the bottom of why my knee wasn’t settling after having received a partial knee implant. Kathy’s in-depth medical knowledge is the only reason that we were able to determine what was happening with my knee and get to the root cause of the issue. If it wouldn’t have been for Kathy’s professional knowledge and perseverance, I would still be without a proper diagnose and my health would be failing me since my Orthopedic surgeon refused to acknowledge that there was something wrong with my implant. Unfortunately the medical device in question was badly failing and slowly poisoning me. As you can appreciate I have a lot to be thankful for the services that I have received from Kathy and the team at Ayr Physiotherapy. If you need physiotherapy services do not hesitate to contact Ayr Physiotherapy as they truly put patient first and most definitely go above and beyond!!!!

I am a physician who has been receiving care from Prashant at the Ayr Physiotherapy Clinic for six months for serious injuries resulting from two major accidents a few months apart. My injuries included a concussion, multiple fractures, a punctured lung and internal bleeding into my chest and abdomen. Prior to my accidents I was very active physically and in excellent shape. Because of my injuries, I was unable to do much physical activity for several months, and I lost most of my core and limb strength. I knew that I needed professional help to recover. A friend recommended the Ayr Physiotherapy Clinic and I was assigned to Prashant. We have been working diligently together and I have made excellent progress with an intensive exercise program. I hope to be back to my pre injury state in a few months time. I would highly recommend Prashant and the Ayr Physiotherapy Clinic.

I turned 56 this year and try to remain as active as possible. Last summer, I sustained a bad dominant hand wrist fracture – both forearm bones with joint involvement - which required surgical repair. I experienced a lot of subsequent deconditioning and joint tightening, which was quite problematic, as I also play guitar. My therapist is Prashant Sharma and he has been excellent. My wrist and hand function are basically now normal. With my reconditioning, I also experienced shoulder pain and elbow pain – all of which were related to lack of use during my injury – and which he is also addressing expertly. His greatest strength is not just his detailed understanding of anatomy and physiology, isolating which specific muscles and tendons need work, but his ability to explain it and thus engage me as a full partner in my recovery. Add to that accessible hours, a courteous and friendly staff, and a location close to home – I am thrilled to recommend Ayr Physiotherapy and Prashant Sharma. In fact, my wife and my son are now his patients, and I have recommended him to the Grand River Hospital fracture clinic.
