Since the best therapist at Lifemark has been sick that place is no more the way it use to be. My appointment with another therapist today was at 1:45 pm, at 2:25 pm I left without any treatment, and because of the mishap I had missed the appointment with my doctor too. What a shame. A few words for the “the office manager” ( I don’t know her name) please be more attentive to your job and return the calls when I leave you a voicemail, you’re not up to handle people in need of pain relief.

I want to take a moment to recognize Shabir Muhammad and his incredible care in helping me back to health. I had rotator cuff surgery on Feb 21st of 2020. My surgeon said that I needed to start physical therapy right away. I decided to choose Shabir to be responsible for what would be a 24 week rehab. That timeline of recovery is a daunting thought. Shabir was attentive, considerate, knowledgable, and proactive in following my surgeon's protocol. He was encouraging and positive in his attitude. He quelled any fears I had during my recovery and was there every step of the way, even when our sessions were remotely done out of clinic because of covid. He IS the hands of healing! Shabir is the ultimate professional and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs PT. I am so happy to go back to my old self. With him, I was able to "trust the process" and now I'm living the results of a successful recovery. Thank you Shabir!

I had a knee replacement on March 26/21 and my first appt with Shabir Mohammad was April 6. Poor Shabir had to deal with one weak girl ... I was in so much pain, I started to cry when he started to do his mobilizing techniques. It took 3 visits before I was not so emotional. Shabir has done an amazing job getting my knee mobile ... I have my twelfth and last appt on Friday May 21 and I think he will agree that all the exercises he has been advocating have paid off. Shabir was very supportive while at the same time being very stern about what I had to do to get myself better. I would recommend Shabir to anyone requiring physio. Thanks Shabir ....

I have been with Lifemark Scarborough Village for 2 years. On the first day in the summer, I met a receptionist Keshia. She guided me with the paperwork. It was easy and efficient I was born with a disability called Cerebral Palsy received during birth. I met Jerzy who became my therapist on the same day. He asked me a few questions and then gave some exercises. Then I met Catherine, Christina and then Yvonne. This environment makes my day. The staff are amazing and so helpful. I know almost everyone. They are like second family to me. I can use each equipment and each of the staff assist me whenever I need it. I used to walked crooked, now I have begun to walk straight. I could not have done this hard work without this supportive staff. The staff are amazing. Keshia, Laura, Meagan, Jin, Anu, Jayson, Alan, you make my day. You all have welcomed me since day 1. I am determined to one day walk without assistance some day with the help of your continuous support. I would recommend this place to anybody. This is the best physiotherapy clinic I have invested my money in.

I went in for an assessment for a problem with my neck. The therapist was a nice guy, seemed knowledgeable. He gave me an exercise that would help at home and made me feel a bit better with a mini massage. I had no problem with any of that but he only spent ten minutes with me. I was there for 45 minutes and mostly just sat there waiting as he bounced between other clients. I had an appointment. After I was charged 90 dollars for the full 45 minutes. I felt ripped off, despite the fact that the guy seemed nice. I just felt like I paid $90 for ten minutes of massage. He gave me a manual on neck pain to bring home and read, but not worth $90.

I have been coming to LifeMark for almost a year now - Anu has been my physiotherapist and we have done manipulations, warm wax, acupuncture, exercises, stim, ice, heat etc. WE do get great results and are just working on the last few issues now - however my neck and wrist are pain free post her treatment. She also happens to be a rockstar and multitasks constantly while still making you feel like her priority patient. She doesn't downplay your issues - and works to resolve all complaints. I see Jason for massage and he is extremely talented and detailed in his treatment plans - i highly recommend him - even if you don't have a back problem - find this guy and get a massage from him! The facility is clean, receptionists are fast & quickly learn who each patient is, personalising the experience. It's a great place, my lawyer thought perhaps I should go somewhere she recommended however I have never felt since coming here that LifeMark was working for the insurance company rather than for me - the patient. They are great.

I recently started receiving physiotherapy from Sharbir at the Scarborough Village Lifemark and I am very satisfied with the service. Shabir is very knowledgeable and applies hands on techniques to loosen and strengthen my injured shoulder. I had sought treatment at another physiotherapy business years earlier and received little more then ultrasound treatment (which is of questionable value). The treatment I receive at Lifemark as well as the online exercise routine I was given has helped to increase my range of movement and decrease my pain.

I saw Meghan only twice because she gave such good advice the first time that it helped me tremendously and I no longer feel pain. I initially went to this Lifemark location following elbow surgery. I was told great things about it. At first I was pleased, mind you I have never needed physio for anything prior so I didn't know what should be happening. The therapist would spend anywhere from 8 to 15 minutes with me usually getting up to go do something else during the session. I would then be passed off to a physio assistant to get me to do useless pulley exercises and some muscle stimulation. When my ohip ended I was not nearly able to return to work or do my daily activities. I was very upset that I did not see any quality results from my treatment. They are more concerned with people not wearing scented products than properly treating injuries. The front staff are somewhat obnoxious and talk about personal activities loud enough for waiting patients to hear. I have since moved to another physio centre (not Lifemark) and the results have been amazing. The professionalism and techniques used are vastly greater than I received at Lifemark. I can now straighten my arm, bend and turn as I could before my surgery. Very happy about this. If you are in need of physiotherapy for any reason PLEASE people do yourself a favor and look around. Lifemark is a big company with many locations but that doesn't mean it delivers quality care. There is much much better out there so do your research.

The clinic is very lucky to have her. One thing that struck me every early in my treatment is that she truly cares and listens to her patients. 1st and foremost she knows her stuff!! Its her style that makes her so special and sets her apart from others. I was very apprehensive about going to the clinic, but Namita was able put me at ease by listening and caring about how I felt. She is so patient and kind and allowed me to go at the speed I was comfortable with. Yes the recovery may have taken a little bit longer, but if that's what made me comfortable, then that's what was important to her. Need I say more!! If I had just had those two therapists I would probably give the clinic a 5 rating. The reason for my 1 star rating is in between I had Jacob and friends have told me he is back at the clinic now. He was rude, did not explain anything to me and made no effort with my treatment. Stay away if you are assigned him!!!!

If you are searching for the best, you've definitely found it. Talk about caring, genuine, friendly and persistent. You won't be disappointed. They've got great teamwork. I've been receiving treatment for approximately 3 and a half months and although it has been very challenging, it is the staff encouragement that helps keep me going. My physiotherapist Iriny is awesome!! She pushes you because she believes in you and ultimately wants to see you at your best. Any questions or concerns I've had are always taken into consideration, are always addressed and she keeps you informed about your progress. She's truthful, honest and really brightens up your day. Not to mention Ms. Rose as well, who really cares and has been helping me along this journey. Experience has been amazing, and it was ultimately the receptionist who answered the phone the day I was searching for physiotherapy treatment that caused me to choose the Scarborough Village location. When you walk in they know you by name, they're really like family. Awesome!

I was coming to this clinic for 6 weeks as a part of my work conditioning treatment while being on long term disability leave of absence and prior to my return to work. There was some miscommunication about phone calls and voicemails that I never received but that was resolved soon after. Front staff seems friendly and professional. They have implemented proper Covid guidelines for staff and patients to follow, therefore I felt safe coming here and receiving my treatments. I was in care of the physiotherapist, Mr. Shabir Muhammad and kinesiologist, Mr. Stephen Yusay. They were both very friendly and knowledgeable in their line of work, however some days I did feel like my sessions were cut a bit short with Mr. Shabir as he was seeing multiple patients within an hour time frame but Mr. Shabir seems to manage it the best he can with the short time given with each patient. Mr. Stephen coached me through one on one sessions of strengthening my upper body (neck/shoulder) area and the length of my sessions were well planed out and he was fully present for any issues or concerns I was having. Overall, my experience at this location was good and I would definitely recommend it.

At the beginning of 2018, I started having arch pain and it gradually progressed to more severe on my right foot to the point where I had stiffness and sharp pain in the heel. I had bad discomfort when walking. I went to see my family physician and I was recommended to get custom orthotics to help with the pain. I was recommended by my mother, who is a long time patient of Jerzy, to go see him. My mother was treated by Jerzy many times over the years. He patiently analyzed the problems that she had and took the time to further explain how the muscles work together for good bone health. After 3-4 sessions of physio she feels better. The consistent and reliable service provided by Jerzy, prompted my mother to recommend him to me with regards to my problem. I am pleased to write this review for Jerzy Luczkiewicz, who works @ LifeMark Physiotherapy Scarborough Village. I got my custom orthotics 7 months ago, and I’m so pleased with the improvement. The assessment was professional, thorough and began at the scheduled time. He demonstrated superior customer satisfaction by taking the appropriate amount of time to patiently explain the importance of investing in custom orthotics as opposed to one-size-fits-all orthotic inserts, the various types of custom orthotics, materials of which they are made and he even showed me a sample. I was so surprised by the fact that I was able to choose from so many options of custom orthotics for various types of footwear, e.g. running shoes, open toe sandals. He provided information about the lab where they are made and the service that LifeMark Scarborough Village has in case I’m not satisfied with the product. He provided recommendation as to which option would be best for me, respected my choice of purchase and he did not insist on buying multiple ones. I appreciate that, and this is why I will go back every year to order my custom orthotics as well as buying different ones, now that I know that I can trust him. He is knowledgeable about what he does: while he did the gait analysis his instructions were clear and easy to follow. Jerzy is in the right line of work because he is an energetic individual that brings passion for his work, which exceeded my expectations. It’s so important for me as a customer to see that in a service provider; he is passionate and cares about what he does by answering to the numerous questions that I’ve had. Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect going in, because I’ve heard so many bad experiences, from work colleagues and friends that I was seriously worried, plus custom orthotics are not cheap at all. I’m so relieved that I found someone who I can trust and I liked that he has the ability to listen. When I received my custom orthotics, I was skeptical because they felt very unusual, but I followed the instructions and gradually got used to wearing them. It was very important to wear them gradually a couple of hours a day in order to accommodate. Now I wear them everyday 10+ hrs, I don’t even feel that they’re there and there is no bad odour. He recommended that I get new ones every year, as they are my only pair and because I’ll be wearing them every day for a year. After 7 months of wearing them, I’m writing this review because of the positive experience I’ve had, and the fact that the pain is gone completely. I’m so happy I’ve found a reliable person to help me with this issue. I recommend Jerzy to others that have problems similar to mine, you won’t leave disappointed and if you have questions don’t hesitate to ask him, as he will answer every single one of them!

Overall I've had very good experiences at the clinic, but feel they're heavy-handed about the scented products. When I made an appointment over the phone for a new injury, nothing was said about scented products. My previous treatments were about three years ago and I don't remember there being a ban then. I noticed the sign as soon as I came in and made a mental note not to wear any such product next time. As I handed over my release forms, the receptionist asked me if I was wearing anything and I said yes. She told me in that case they didn't "have" to carry on with the appointment, but "would." It was embarrassing to be chided in front of the other waiting patients; I think I should have been told over the phone when I made the appointment, or, since they did go ahead with the appointment, more privately in the treatment cubicle.

I did get that reassement and she was right on with her thoughts I did have not only whiplash as the hospital thought but a cuncussion and also vertigo . I saw my neuroligst today and she confirmmed Megans findings . Thank you life Mark and thank you Megan for all the help you and the life mark staff have given me and continue to give me through out this prosess . Sincerly Dawn Clarke
