About the wheelchair ♿ accessible room.This place is absolutely amazing. Let me start by saying my journey from Southwest Ontario as a mobility challenged person has been quite challenging. Some companys' perceptions of accessibility leaves alot more homework on their part. I've struggled especially with washrooms and bathing. This place checks all the boxes and I mean all the boxes. When I arrived, the zero threshold on the entryway door was compromised because of some heavy rain or something. When I arrived, I struggled to get in. The door is automatic and with the button, but the brick had sunk down a little in front of the door. Pauline got on the phone right away to the owners, the manager ,even her husband to see what they could do to fix it. Right away they had a temporary ramp made to help me clear the threshold of the door and a permanent one on order. How many companies would do that ? The room is roomy and very clean. It has a balcony to get outside and enjoy the fresh Newfoundland air. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Can't say enough about it. I'm staying for 10 days. I'll definitely be back.
