Travis Jones has been my physiotherapist at Sylvan Lake Physiotherapy for over 5 years. He has always worked with me to create effective treatment plans for various injuries. As a hockey player competing at the university level Travis has helped me over the years to ensure I am able to compete at peak performance. If you are an athlete looking for maintenance or acute therapy for chronic or immediate injuries I would recommend Travis and his team. Summit is their new location in Red Deer with impeccable facilities where they offer many rehab services. The staff at Summit are all very friendly and create a welcoming environment. I'm not great at making time to go to physio or massage but I found the scheduling convenient and the location ideal so I decided to give Summit a try. I'm so glad I did. Shannon was exceptional at identifying the issues and creating a treatment plan that worked for both my injury and personality. I saw results quickly with effective treatments and efficient clinic processes that made the whole experience easy. I can say that I've learned something new every time I've gone and appreciate that the goal is always to get the clients back to optimal heath and not needing ongoing treatment. What can I say, I am so thankful for Shannon at Summit Physio. I fell in January and tore my rotator cuff. I was seeing Shannon 3 times a week at CBI and when she moved to Summit Physio I asked WCB for permission to follow her, which they granted. Best choice I've ever made. I am waiting for surgery and continue to see her 3 times a week. She keeps my pain bearable. I can go in and tell her I have a sever headache and I leave there without it. She gives me the right exercises to do to keep my arm mobile with the least amount of pain. Check out this beautiful new building. My daughter and I were in a car accident in April and Shannon was assigned to us at another clinic, from the first meeting she put us at ease with outlining the procedures in place with insurance and how she’d be treating us. She has always listened to our concerns and taken the time to explain things and never have I felt like I couldn’t ask questions. She has a way of making you feel comfortable even when dealing with an uncomfortable situation - when we heard she was moving to Summit we asked our insurance if we could move with her! I’d highly recommend her and the support staff have been amazing to deal with in helping set up appointments!
